[Episode 5]

Wenzhou, Taizhou, Shaoxing, Jiaxing

The four agencies' total purchase quantity is zero?

Being candid doesn't work, Tu Jinhu still made it difficult for us.

-The info I got last time- -That's it.

We split up, I'm going to Wenzhou, and you head to Ningbo.

Be sure to get a hold of solid evidence.

Got it.

The moment I walked out of the coffee shop,

I regretted.

Hey rich kid!

Do not underestimate Pinky, she secured eight contracts already.

How come you look so miserable?

It can't be that your big contract was gone.

Gosh. Do not report ths in today, Boss Lin is right in a fit of anger.

How do you know?

Who am I?

Boss Lin,

what are you doing?

Working on some planning.

Is it that hard to understand the simple rule of knowing your enemies?

Don't you think Ling Xiaoxiao is a lot better than you on that?

Wenzhou

What is this?

It has been half an hour, still no show.

It's not abnormal for someone as rich as Boss Tu

to come a little late.

Tu Jinhu asked us to not purchase,

and we did as he asked.

Today we are called here together,

is it possible that there is more to come?

I'm going to be honest,

us going against Lin Rui,

is actually putting us under a lot of risk.

We need to make a clear case today.

Until Tu has Jiangsu,

we will take over the agencies there.

It is not that simple, is it?

No need for waiting, Tu Jinhu will not come.

It was me who asked the three of you out. I'd like to have a nice conversation with you.

What's there to talk?

You expand your tributaries, and burn down bridges.

And now you want to talk?

Don't hurry.

Since our boss has come here in person,

at least settle down and hear her out.

You are all really impatient.

If there's anything you want to talk about, we can sit down and do it.

I'm here today, because I want to promise you that

after I have the direct retailing business,

all the things you have now

will not be altered.

Why should we believe you?

These.

These are the SW's products

I bought at Taizhou, Shaoxing, and Jiaxing's SW counters.

And this, is the our shipping record to Wenzhou.

There are batch numbers on it.

The batch numbers for these products are all on there.

Can't you see that your sales volume has shrunk a big chunk compared to last year?

Tu Jinhu, bastard.

Slipping his own products into mine.

But this record can be faked.

It doesn't really explain anything.

How about this?

This is the shipping record from the Long Fa storage in Wenzhou.

And memo from Heng Mei in Ningbo.

Once in power, the company he would work with would be Heng Mei.

And all three of you would be collateral damage.

Me developing direct retailing was never meant to take its place.

I was only trying filling the blank here.

And optimize the sales network.

Honestly, direct retailing requires a lot manpower and material resources.

There are over 500 end points in Hua Dong area along.

Can I, Lin Rui, do that much on my own?

How can you ensure that we won't be kicked out of the picture?

I've brought the contract for next year.

As long as you agree to coorperate,

we can sign it today.

Hello, Li,

send me next month's order again.

Get me a cup of chrysanthemum tea.

-Six million, right now. -I'm so tired.

Go with the one I gave you, and change it to eight million.

Seven million. Yes, that's it.

What? This many big deals from a newbie?

Look at your ignorant faces.

You both know Boss Yang in HR right?

When they first got into the company, they did a lot more than this.

Can't you see how worried Xiaoyu is here? You didn't have to go there.

Say something useful.

Alright, useful.

I have to go.

Put this in my drawer when you're done.

Remember to lock up.

-Thank you. -I'm going.

What a bad friend.

I'm just an assistant intern.

She's already being nice.

Wait a minute.

She really likes you,

this is not right.

What are you doing?

Damn.

She's playing riddles with us.

What?

Check it yourself.

These contracts all belonged to other people.

And now they are all altered to be under Ling Xiaoxiao's name.

Unless...

Somebody is doing her a favor.

Connections.

Then what am I doing here?

I'm so done. Game over.

Dongdong, I'm so getting fired.

Don't worry. She has connections, don't you too?

What connections do I have?

Me!

You?

Right. Thank God I have you.

What's that look?

Who am I? I am Miss Dong in SW.

That one.

Alright, don't get upset with it.

Come here, let me teach you something.

First, secure two big contracts.

Make her look bad plainly.

That's it? How is that something?

I'm not done yet.

Search for some bad press,

and evidence of her using unjust method.

But... That's a bit problematic.

Both parties may end up damaged.

-And also make it look bad with her connections. Dong dong?

You hungry? Let's grab a bite. Come on.

-I'm not- -I'm starving.

Two days.

Sometimes I wonder,

is there anything you can't do?

Thanks.

I've considered this carefully.

The notice you gave me was right.

I've decided to put off the direct retailing plan.

Made up your mind?

There are only things to lose when ill-prepared.

This time four agencies already gave me a hard time,

then what about next time?

I'm just reminding you. If you already decided,

Then decide on your own.

You were so right about it.

The timing was not good, and I've decided.

Are we really giving up direct retailing?

Not giving up, but putting off.

I hate to leave that behind.

The sales reward plan I handed in,

wasn't passed by Boss Shu.

The Boss Shu now,

is not the master that used to help me with the contracts.

I have to adjust, accept.

Treat my boss like a client.

The view I see now from here,

differs from the view of the people downstairs

in a way.

So, I can understand Boss Shu.

Boss, can I take tonight off?

Okay, you are worn out as well.

I'll take Xiao Wen instead.

Thanks.

Boss, the girl is coming to Shanghai today.

Girl?

The one you met on a plane?

Okay. Let's see how long this round will go.

Boss, I mean it this time.

You mean it every time.

Shoo.

Boss, if one day you get as high up as Boss Shu,

will I be able to tell you everything?

At least I hope you would.

Hello?

Dan Ding, thanks.

We've checked, everything's good.

That's fine, just don't sell me or something.

Gotta go, I still have work to do.

This late?

How about this, join me.

Name your price.

Wen Zhe, knock it off.

You just have to bring money into the conversation.

-My bro is here, I'm not keeping this on with you. -Wait! Is that Wen Zhe?

Hello, Boss Wen.

I am Mao Xiaofeng.

Mao Xiaofeng.

Is Dan Ding helping you right now?

Yeah, he's updating our systems.

Don't hold off on the money.

Don't worry about it.

The other day a girl came to me with a plan of your collaboration.

Do you know about that?

I'm sorry Boss Wen,

I didn't know she went to see you.

I know about the plan.

What do you think about it?

On a technical note,

I think, it's viable.

I didn't sign it.

But I trust your expert opinion.

How about this, tell the girl

to bring me the contract.

And, you are the manager, overtime like today

doesn't need you to be there in person. Mind your work and rest balance.

Alright, I'll get out of your hair.

Great, bye Boss Wen.

Hurry up.

Let's grab a bite first.

Not in a hurry now?

Boss Wen said, be careful of work and rest balance.

Come on, we can do this tomorrow.

Is there a hotpot restaurant near your place?

Yeah.

Welcome, follow me please.

Is this too much for a late night?

Too much? For someone as restrained as you?

I see you want more overtime huh.

Here's the menu.

The thing Wen Zhe asked you to do should count as a sting operation, you should have asked for more.

A mundane person like me, should stay out of the war of the gods.

But seriously, have you forgotten about intoducing girls to me?

Of course not!

But why asking for that specific look from a girlfriend? A bit tedious.

Let me tell you, there are not two leaves that look the same.

You need to have that sensitivity.

Can you cut it off and leave people to their own food?

There's only one thing I could say.

I think I'm done for. Game over.

Mao.

Can you help Xiaoyu out?

Of course!

Yu, about your contract.

You put online pre-order, SW new launch and limited edition in.

Then add some strategic cooperation-

But Boss Wen said no.

I know, but I worked for more.

He agreed to go over your contract again.

And you know what I think?

Among the platforms he owns, Guo Wei is just the tip of an iceberg.

What we are going to do is taking more platforms.

This man is not very candid.

Making deals with him is too dangerous.

And you might will be counting the money for him even if he just sold you.

Wen Zhe?

He is a bit calculating.

-Yeah! -But he wouldn't make moves on you.

-Right. -I-

You have no idea.

If I go to him now, he probably would already have something cooked up.

And providing me with one out of two kind of conditions.

I'm not going.

The worst can happen is me going back to Hangzhou.

One out of two? Conditions?

Wen Zhe digs this?

He can't be.

Woah.

You think he likes me?

-You too?- I didn't say anything,

How can it be? There must be something else.

That one bruises my ego too.

I said it couldn't be.

Right. How could it?

What do you mean?

You mean my looks

make me unworthy?

-Keep it down! -You are.

Let's talk business.

I really have to thank you today Boss Mao.

You just reminded me.

Let me ask you. If I didn't go to Wen Zhe but went to you instead.

Would you help?

Is that even a question?

But... There's no way around Boss Wen.

No worries, as long as you are willing.

Okay.

And you. The one who loves influencers.

After spending so long in the IT business, you must know a lot of people and your way around.

Nothing wrong with appreciating pretty girls.

Nah.

And my expertise is well-known, right?

Right.

Then would you help me?

I can help you out.

That would be enough.

Dong dong, if you'd like to help too.

Come work overtime with me.

Okay.

How about right now?

Come one, I'm in a hurry.

-Wait, we haven't finished all this- -I already have an idea, let me fill you in in a bit.

-Now? -Come on.

-Let me add you on Wechat. -Fine.

Another day.

-It's going to be quick! -Knock it off!

-Bye! -Here's what I'm thinking, the contract-

-Oh my god. -First we do this.

Of course it's like this.

The core for this plan is aimed at younger groups.
