You Complete Me

Episode 4

Let go of me!

How can you do this?

Where are you going?

Your boss wants me to bring her the materials.

That's impossible!

Wo finds you so annoying.

Take a look yourself.

Guangzhou Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel

I'll leave him to you.

Let's meet at the hospital later.

Don't worry.

Gao Shan, come back!

Let go of me.

That's the situation

in Fangda.

Ms. Lin, you're very talented.

Who is he?

He is...

I am...

He's my assistant.

Yes, I'm Ms. Lin's assistant.

Hello.

Hello.

Mr. Zhou,

this is our investment proposal.

Okay.

After hearing your introduction of Fangda

and your future plans,

I'm very impressed.

You're too kind.

Can I take these materials back with me?

Of course.

I'll wait for your reply then.

Okay, let's talk again another time.

Mr. Zhou, take care.

Okay.

Incredible.

Thank you.

You trust me that much?

Aren't you afraid that I'd

trip you up with the document?

I quickly scanned

that document just now.

There's no problem.

Most importantly, I believe that professionals like you

won't ruin your reputation for setting me up.

Am I right?

I didn't expect that you're so cunning.

I have to.

I owe you a favor.

I'll take you to the hospital.

There's no need.

I have to meet another client later.

You can still make it after going to the hospital.

Let's go.

There's really no need.

I'm going to be late.

Get into the car yourself.

Otherwise, I'd force you to.

I've told you.

I can't go to the hospital now.

I know that you're afraid

that I'll be late for the interview.

I promise, I'll be there.

Didn't you buy Fangda only for revenge?

Is it that important?

Yes, it's very important.

I'll get going.

Hi. Over here.

Hi.

Hi.

This time, we'd like to hire someone

who has 3- to 5-year experience in the industry.

I understand your requirements now.

I'll call you if I have any news.

Okay.

Thank you.

Okay, see you next time.

Okay, bye.

Bye.

Candidate B, China Rural Commercial

Candidate C

I thought you bought Fangda only for revenge.

I didn't expect you to care about it so much.

Fangda is quite expensive.

I earned every coin I paid.

Of course I care about it.

Change the shoes.

Let's go back to the hospital.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Zhongshan Huoju Development Area Hospital

Thank you.

They'll be here soon.

Say something nice.

I just said that I'd think about it.

I didn't say I'd follow your words.

Are you playing with me?

I'm just being honest.

Xinnan disregarded the contract

and reduced their employees' wages.

I also have to take responsibility for Fangda's clients.

That's my professional ethics.

I have my own position.

Wo.

The reporters are downstairs.

Wu Ai Hospital

You were right.

Lin Wo was afraid that they'd seek revenge on Dawei,

so she didn't mention his name.

As a headhunter,

she must obey the rules.

She's good at doing her work, indeed.

She's also friendly and loyal.

However,

she's too young to fit in the sophisticated society.

She thinks that she can accomplish her goals with passion.

But in the end,

foolish newbies like her are usually the ones

pushed to the cusp of public opinion.

It's not like you to say something like this.

Don't think too much.

Just do your job.

I'm quite impressed by your foresight.

If what she's saying went public,

not only would it be bad for her,

but it would embarrass Mr. Wan.

Then Sun Li's team would gloat again.

I bought you some congee.

You talked to an investor this morning

and received an interview in the afternoon.

You haven't had a good meal all day.

I've told you to have a good rest.

Stop working. Come on.

Don't.

I'm refreshing it.

What?

Initially, I did quite well.

I felt scared as they asked more.

You did it for Dawei's sake.

Besides, you just said what you needed to say, right?

You're quite good at consoling people.

Here it is.

They didn't... take photos, right?

We can't show our faces.

Xinnan might bear a grudge against you.

Xinnan Refutes Rumors It's friction between employees.

It has already been resolved through negotiation.

Aren't...

A Misunderstanding, Both Sides Reconciled Aren't the two who caused trouble?

They've reconciled?

Li Wei is calling.

Hello?

Ms. Lin, I'm really sorry.

I didn't expect that Mozai had been bought off by Xinnan.

Mozai?

Yes.

He's my man.

I brought him to Xinnan.

Now he chose to reconcile,

the rest of us will get into a difficult situation.

We may lose our bargaining chip with Xinnan.

Where is he now?

He turned off his phone.

No one's at his home either.

I don't think he will show up for a while.

I should take responsibility for what have happened.

Thank you for everything.

I'll take care of the rest.

How's it?

How did that happen?

He must have known it.

Delivery.

I brought your clothes.

Nana, you come just in time.

Take me to a place.

Hold this.

What's going on?

You should have told me we're coming here.

I didn't dress up today.

If you don't want to bring troubles upon yourself,

stay here.

What's going on?

Who's keeping offending her?

Who am I?

Am I afraid of troubles?

Why are you here?

Has your foot healed already?

You did it, right?

What?

You've already planned to buy Mozai off to settle the issue.

You were just diverting my attention for more time.

You were afraid that I'd ruin your plan.

You lied to me!

To you, I'm so great?

Are you still pretending?

Xinnan came up with that idea.

It's Xinnan that talked to Mozai.

I knew that they'd make a move,

but I didn't expect them to do that.

But I guess you don't believe me anyway.

No, I don't.

If you've already foreseen it,

why bother trying so hard to get on my good side?

I wanted to settle the trouble.

That's my job.

So your job included going with me to meet my client

and helping me to write a proposal?

You chop logic. Despicable.

He's telling the truth.

Xinnan has a team of professional lawyers.

If things got ugly or even if Xinnan was sued,

they could drag it out for one or two or even five years.

What about those employees at that time?

They can't wait that long.

Lin Wo,

this issue is more complicated than you think.

I'm sorry.

Unlike us, she has little experience with these things.

Please forgive her naivety.

Xinnan said that Dawei and his team must leave.

Have you thought about what to do next?

Go to the media,

the Labor Dispute Arbitration Committee,

I'll resort to whoever can help me.

Perhaps you're right.

But I don't believe no one can protect our rights.

But have you ever thought about

what the most important thing is

for Dawei and his team?

Severance!

Since they have no choice but leave,

what you can do is to

help them get more compensation.

To them, that's the tangible benefit.

Don't make useless sacrifices.

Exposing them would achieve nothing

but push yourself to the cusp of public opinion.

But what can I use to bargain with them now?

I know a way.

Perhaps it can help you.

What's this?

Xinnan's spare part.

When I checked the financial reports,

a few entries didn't make sense.

They record the sales vaguely in another way.

It's a very subtle mistake.

It can't be discovered generally.

That day at the factory,

when the boxes fell down,

a few spare parts fell by my shoes.

I carefully observed the manager's expression.

He was very nervous.

He even wanted to use his body to block my sight.

So I suspect that the stuff in that box is fishy.

So you kept one of them.

I sent it to check and found it's a defective product.

I suspect that Xinnan's capital chain goes wrong.

But they don't want their IPO to be affected.

So they're planning

to sell defective products to fill the funds.

They also wanted to reduce expenses by laying off staff.

They just didn't expect that it would cause such a big mess.

So you want us to get the news out

and let this take its course.

In this way, in order to settle the issue

Xinnan will give Dawei and his team good severance.

That's right.

Gao Shan,

I'm admiring you more and more.

Why are you helping me?

I'm not helping you.

I'm helping myself.

Xinnan's project was transferred to Mr. Sun.

So you want to ruin this project as a gift to Wan Jiahe

to get on his good side and be promoted?

It seems like it's quite useful

for you to check Wan Jiahe's information.

But if we expose this,

Xinnan's stocks can't be released as scheduled.

Will Most Sky give up their project?

Regarding Xinnan's capital chain issue,

Sun Li will find it out in the next few days.

Most Sky will surely give up this project.

Better sooner than later.

So you need someone to send this spare part to AQSIQ?

Give it to Lin Wo,

and you can stay out of it to avoid getting into troubles?

Right.

You take advantage of me?

I'm being frank and honest.

At most, it's a collaboration.

But let me remind you,

Xinnan will surely find out that you report them.

Fangda will also get dragged down

and may even be maliciously boycotted.

But now,

you have the option to stay out of it.

No one will blame you.

My dear, think it twice.

I can find someone to do it.

No.

It would be the best for me to do it.

If the media report it first,

I'm in charge of Dawei and his team,

it's more proper for me to speak it out.

If Xinnan finds out first,

they'd also be concerned

and give Dawei and the others the best compensation sooner.

Smart.

Have you really decided?

Don't you think about it twice?

After all, Fangda is quite expensive.

You earned every coin you paid.

Gao Shan.

You really stop at nothing.

I thought you'd understand.

After all, if you force your way through,

you get wounded badly.

It's not bad for her to know it.

You're right.

But don't waste your kindness either.

Since you've protected her before,

this time, please do the same.

I've helped you today.

You owe me a date.

On 88 Yongkang Road at 8 pm, tomorrow night.

See you there.

You want to have a fight?

No.

I was acting rashly.

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have said that.

It's not your fault that the project was stolen.

Besides,

you dealt with the mess quite well.

Are you complimenting me?

I was too impulsive.

I'm sorry.

It's the first time that someone in Most Sky complimented me.

But the clean-up work was more complicated than I imagined indeed.

However,

do you know

what's the most important thing as a qualified employee?

Something happened with Team A!

What's going on?

I've heard it.

Someone reported that Xinnan Energy

was suspected of selling defective products overseas.

AQSIQ did a surprise inspection.

They got the evidence already.

Most Sky just decided to give up this project.

No wonder Sun Li looked so bad.

When Sun Li came back from Xinnan,

he even assured Mr. Luo

that they've sent regards to the staff,

inspected the factory,

and no mistakes would happen again.

This time, Meng Hui was the one who went with Sun Li.

With Sun Li's personality,

if something happens,

he will blame others.

I think it's over for Meng Hui this time.

What can we do then?

Should we just watch them pulling such lowly tricks

and stealing the project?

I'm not that virtuous

to repay enmity with kindness.

An eye for an eye is my style.

Did you report them?

No.

That's impossible.

I saw you hide something in your pocket that day.

Was it the defective product they mentioned?

This time, my instinct is correct.

Instinct?

Only women's instincts are accurate.

But you...

You did well with the patients.

As for Letian project,

you assist colleagues in

preparing the materials for the meeting.

Okay.

Congratulations.

Your hard work finally pays off.

Mr. Wan must have found out

that you forced Sun Li to give up Xinnan's project.

You have a chance to handle core projects now.

I've told you it wasn't me.

Don't worry,

I won't tell anyone.

I was fired.

Are you happy now?

Are you gloating over getting revenge?

I'm sorry.

I never waste my time on losers.

It's not worth it.

Bye.

Gao Shan.

What are you saying?

Just wait.

I will seek my revenge.

Just wait.

Most Sky Investment

Clean up your face.

You're so handsome.

It will be bad if you get a scar.

Thank you.

Congratulations.

You finally make Wan Jiahe trust you.

Thank you.

What happened to your roommate?

She's not so lucky as you.

I heard

that many people found out the truth,

and they wouldn't see her anymore.

She got what she wanted.

To her,

it might not necessarily be a bad thing.

What about you?

What?

Why did you choose Most Sky?

It's the most suitable one for me.

So

you're willing to be an assistant analyst?

In front of Lin Wo,

I might have expressed total confidence in you.

But I've heard Wan Jiahe is very old-fashioned.

Being his man,

it's extremely hard to get promoted quickly.

What points are you trying to make?

Come to Dinghe and assist me.

In two years,

I guarantee you to be Vice President.

You're painting a rosy picture.

I see great potential in you.

Your future is closely related to mine.

I'm also helping myself.

Lu Dong and you are competing to get promoted.

You want me to go there

so you will have an ally

and help you to win against him?

You've investigated me?

Can I interpret that as concern for me?

Alisa,

we're really not suitable for each other.

Why?

In university, we were the best partners.

That's precisely why

it's impossible between us to become a couple.

You're so sure?

Is it the result of a reasonable analysis

or are there other reasons?

Gao Shan,

I feel like

you're a bit different this time.

Don't try to get to know me.

I also came to tell you

not to waste any time on me.

I'll get going.

Don't drink too much.

Long time no see.

Alisa,

which rich guy is it this time?

It's a secret.

I'll go to the restroom.

Sorry.

It's okay.

Who are you looking at?

She's so ugly.

Lower your voice.

I'm not looking at her?

Stop looking,

you can only look at me.

You should be good over there.

The girls there are very bad.

Don't let them fool you.

All right,

I'm going to bed.

Good night.

Is she your girlfriend?

What do you want?

Ignore her.

Let's go.

I'll be frank.

She's cheating on you.

What are you talking about?

I'll rip your lips!

Ouch.

I forgot to tell you.

I'm in black belt level of Taekwondo.

Why won't you break up with this kind of girl?

Do you want to be cheated on?

Don't listen to her.

Baby, don't listen to her.

It's her!

Su Yuan!

I didn't drink, I'll drive you home.

There's no need.

What's the matter?

Are you looking for troubles?

I broke up with her.

Congratulations.

You should take responsibility for my breakup.

I don't dare to take credit for it.

What's your name?

I'm sorry,

I'm not in the mood today.

Mr. Chen, I understand. But...

What's that?

Li Wei sent it.

He said it's his appreciation

for your help on getting compensation.

I had refused to accept gifts.

I told him

it's part of Fangda's job.

You acted on your own again, didn't you?

Nope.

Li Wei said these were specialties

from his parents' farm.

He wanted you to try them.

Here.

Tangerines.

Freshly-picked. Here.

Here.

I've been answering calls of cancelling orders all the morning.

I'm a bit thirsty indeed.

We were originally doomed.

But through your efforts,

well,

we're likely to get potential investment.

But who knew you made too much efforts.

Come on. We've done quite well.

The rumors are contained in our industry.

That's the best result.

But let me remind you,

Xinnan will surely find out that you report them.

Fangda will also get dragged down

and may even be maliciously boycotted.

Stop overthinking.

Stop overthinking.

Stop overthinking.

Stop overthinking.

What are you mumbling?

Hello,

Fangda Human Resource.

You don't leave even after we cut off

the electricity and water, right?

Listen up.

The building administrator is asking for the rent again?

Pay or move out.

It's clearly stated in the contract.

Don't worry.

Please give us a few more days.

How many days?

A... Half a month.

Hey, are you dreaming?

Then...

Five days!

In five days, we'll pay the rent.

If not, we'll move.

Fine. I'll give you another five days.

Okay.

Thanks.

All right.

It's fine.

I got him.

Five days?

Five days.

My goodness.

Does the admin come here directly?

Stay. Leave it to me.

Escaping is not a solution.

Trust me.

I'll talk to him.

Just... Just stay down.

Hide yourself.

Trust me.

It's going to be fine.

I'll go and hide.

It's not the building administrator.

Who are you?

This is Fangda Human Resource, right?

Yes.

I want to make an inquiry.

Please enjoy.

I'm sorry.

We're undergoing some renovations lately.

It's a bit messy.

It's fine.

I wonder what kind of talent your company is looking for.

Even if Fangda was established not too long,

our performance has always been very good.

Especially in terms of finding financial talents.

We're more familiar in that field.

That's also why I came to you.

I happen to be nearby.

I hope I'm not disturbing you.

It's our pleasure.

Jinshi Group, Zhao Xiaomo

I'm Zhao Xiaomo,

General Manager of the Investment Research Division

from Jinshi Group.

Jinshi?

Jinshi Group, Zhao Xiaomo

We worked with your company before.

I believe you also know about Jinshi very well.

But lately,

we're undergoing some personnel changes.

So this time,

I would like you to help us find some talents.

Are you okay with that?

Yes.

No problem.

Mr. Zhao,

please fill out some information and preferences

so we can find the most suitable candidate for you.

Actually, we already have a candidate to our liking.

Wan Jiahe of Most Sky.

Mr. Zhao.

After a comprehensive assessment,

I'll call you immediately.

Okay,

I'm looking forward to working with you.

Thank you.

Take care.

Okay, thank you.

What a good project!

What else are you thinking of?

If you don't say yes,

others will take the case away.

While he hasn't gone far,

I'll get him back.

Why did Jinshi

come to Fangda?

We worked together before.

Didn't he mention that earlier?

Last year, Fangda helped him

to find an investment manager.

Vivian did it herself.

That's why it's strange.

Vivian has already left.

And we suffered a lot in Xinnan's case.

He surely knows Fangda's current situation.

Then...

Perhaps Vivian hasn't informed them yet.

As for Xinnan,

it's a different industry.

They might not have gotten the news yet.

I don't take cases I'm not assured of.

What are you doing?

I'm calling my friend from the magazine.

He interviewed Jinshi before.

He must know someone there.

What did he say?

He said Jinshi just changed

their general manager of Investment Research Division last month,

and the new manager was Zhao Xiaomo indeed.

And he also confirmed

about the plan to pirate someone.

He just doesn't know

who it is exactly.

Take a look.

I found Mr. Zhao's information.

Look.

Isn't that right?

You can be assured now.

Stop being so suspicious.

What can he get for fooling us?

If we complete this project,

and we're able to pay rent,

perhaps we can save Fangda.

I'll call Mr. Zhao now.

Don't.

I checked Wan Jiahe's information before.

He's like a mule.

He's devoted, stubborn and rigid.

It's not easy to get him to change a job.

Isn't it your routine of facing the difficulties

and rising to the challenge?

Talking to Wan Jiahe is not a big deal.

But if I want to pirate him,

I'll surely meet that person.

Who?

How annoying!

Is this for me?

Letian and USTC Patent Projects

That's the information

of Letian Technologies.

They have jointly-developed

lots of new technology projects

with universities in the mainland.

This afternoon, Su Yuan...

Su Yuan.

Come with me to Shenzhen

for site inspection.

If there's nothing else to say, the meeting is over.

Gao Shan.

Come with us too.

Mr. Wan allows you to participate in Letian's project.

That means he's starting to trust you.

I'll ask the staff to book your ticket now.

Thank you.

With you, I feel more at ease.

Now, I can sleep like a baby.

How nice.

I don't feel good.

Hey, even holding an apple can make you so happy.

Can't you hold yourself a bit?

An apple?

This is my lucky charm, okay?

My goddess.

You won't get it even if I tell you.

Time for business.

I need to find her first.

Hello?

I told you to stake out at bars.

Are you there?

What document?

Just ask someone else to write it.

Don't let it slip,

do you hear me?

Most Sky Investments

Mr. Wan.

Are you okay?

What's the matter?

You're not feeling well?

I'm fine.

I've told you not to work so hard.

Let your men take care of the trivial matters.

Yes.

You can never earn enough money.

It's fine, just a migraine.

Thank you for your concern, Mr. Sun.

By the way,

Mr. Luo invited me to his mother's birthday tomorrow night.

Do you have time to come?

I can't.

I'm going to Shenzhen tomorrow.

The Letian project.

After completing this project,

you'd surely get the Board of Members position.

You'd get promoted soon.

Stop joking.

You're handling the Dalong project.

It's the most important project for Most Sky

to dominate the market.

Timing comes first.

Dalong requires more than a year to release its IPO.

Letian is different.

Victory is just around the corner.

Congratulate you in advance,

Mr. Wan.

Most Sky Investments

Nana.

Why did you drink so much?

No.

I can't watch you vomiting.

I want to vomit as well.

I feel so much better now.

Have a hot shower and go to bed.

I'm going on a business trip tomorrow.

You can't leave.

He left me

and you're going to leave me.

You must stay here with me.

Who were you dating again?

Gao Shan.

Do you know how hateful he is?

He came to me

and told me to give up.

Don't waste time on him.

Then he has a conscience.

And you two even haven't started yet.

Who am I?

I'm Wu Dongna.

I can't believe he rejected me.

My flirting didn't work on him.

That's enough.

Are you leaving?

Hey,

why did you bring her to our business trip?

You think I want to?

I'm afraid that she'd tear down the house

and be sent to the police station before I get back.

She got dumped again?

It's a bit different this time.

However,

it didn't affect her to be dramatic.

That's so unique.

Every time she wants to release some pressure,

she'd use being brokenhearted as an excuse

to drink and cause troubles.

How can you endure it?

Talk to her.

The pressure in investment banking is immense.

Just... Just tell her to find another job.

Who are you talking about?

Do you want to scare me to death?

Those who badmouth are scarier, right?

So what if I'm brokenhearted?

That's enough.

Deng Li and I will go to work.

It takes an hour at most.

Just stay in the car,

and sleep for a while, okay?

Sleep for a while.

Go.

That's all for today.

Take a look first.

I'll go back to work then.

Okay, thank you.

I'm exhausted.

You look so lethargic.

Listen, pull yourself together.

Letian and USTC

have five patent projects together.

We must finish our research today.

I've already prepared the materials.

Will you take a look first?

Nice.

Mr. Wan, are you giving a compliment?

Cut the crap.

Did you stay out last night?

I didn't.

Since we came here,

we've been to over ten inspection sites.

I don't have time to go out even if I want to.

Mr. Wan.

When we go back,

can you give us one day leave?

Sure.

There are at least four companies working with Letian.

You want to ask them to approve your leave?

This is the last site.

Just endure it a bit.

We'll be done soon.

You've worked hard in the past few days.

We've especially arranged a lunch for you.

It's located on the ground floor of your hotel.

Hope to see you there.

Sure.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Are you done?

Yes.

What do you think?

Not bad. You look the part.

You look nicer than the model in the photo.

Okay, I'll get going.

Wait.

You're not bringing me along?

There's no need. We just have one outfit.

They'd surely notice it if you come.

Wan Jiahe is straight as an arrow.

And he hung up our calls.

Otherwise, we don't need to come to Shenzhen.

We accepted the deposit already.

We have to follow up no matter how far he's gone.

Indeed.

Jinshi is willing to pay quite nice.

Even I'm tempted.

I believe Wan Jiahe will consider it.

I hope so.

I just hope that he'd hear me out.

I'll get going.

Are you sure Gao Shan didn't come along?

I'm sure.

The day before they left,

I asked Sun Miao.

His name wasn't on the list.

Sun Miao is surely reliable.

I'll treat her to dinner when I get back.

I'll get going.

We can do this.

-We can do this. -We can do this.

There's something fishy between them.
