My brain used to be free-flowing and expression.

I lost the ability to all of that.

because the more they can be part of my journey,

- I have been waiting 18 years

for something to come out to help me hear on my right side,

I can't wait to see it.

and I had no idea how much I was missing all these years.

because my voice was probably a little raised, right?

at people for the last so many years.

and is now in remission,

the Race to End Women's Cancer.

and so I've been very invested

in supporting doggie charities for years.

I think dogs are truly our best friends,

but a few years ago, I learned about a terrible event.

Yulin is a city in China where every year

they have this festival, they call it,

where they torture dogs and then they eat them.

I just love these beautiful creatures,

but Ken and I have organized a march to protest,

to walk to the Chinese embassy

to stop this heinous situation.

you know, take this thing by the horns,

because I think we're gonna get one shot at it.

You know, we can't kind of be doing marches

draw as much attention to it
