from the judges

that you look great,

but your performance was not.

It's just frustrating,

because it was
just kind of like

a reality check in a way.

as good as I thought I was.

I'm comfortable
with my performance.

I may not have risen
to the occasion

as the judges would
have liked to seen me,

Overall, the critiques were,
like, very positive energy.

I think we all excelled
this week,

it might just be by, like,
a small hair of a thing--

But it was because
we were good.

delivered today

I think the top is gonna be
either you, Denali, or Joey,

or you and Rosé, personally.

I think based on the critiques,
definitely Rosé.

In terms of, like, the looks,

Tamisha as well, they loved.

Looks-wise, they didn't

but at the same time,
I'm enjoying myself.

the chemistry we have.

The three New York girls

the connecting factor

between the New York girls,

because I have a relationship
with each of them individually.

but I'm interested to see

I think the judges

For me, I needed that kick.

understand what I'm going into.

And I was, like, I know
I possibly could do good,

but I don't know.

But to actually
start the game off

with, oh, go to
the Porkchop Room,

And we all had
that fighting spirit.

Just so nervous that first day.

Like, regardless of who you are
or how great you think you are,

if you're sent into
RuPaul's Drag Race,

day one to lip sync

a thought to think

I think even the other girls
that won

probably felt like, whoa,
blackout, what just happened?

I'm very grateful
that it happened, though.

Like, it's definitely
what I needed,

and I feel like I kind of
got that out of the way.

These girls have not
been in the bottom yet.

They don't know how that feels,

and it's like, all right, girl.

To me, right now,
it happened, it's done.

I'm not worrying
about it anymore.

I'm working on the next thing
that's in front of me.

But the other group of girls
doesn't know what's coming.

They don't know

Even after our rehearsal,

I came back to my room
and kept practicing.

I was tired,

so patient with me,

teaching me what

Well, we didn't have
very much time to meet anyone,

had first impressions.

at everyone's looks,

and everyone had a concept.

it looked off-the-rack to me.

When they broke it down to us

saying that we have to
eliminate a fellow queen,

if I were in her position
and they said first impressions

and I knew I was
the last one in there,

bitch, I would have spoken up.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting
over here on my side

All we--like, we all
were shaking in our boots.

I was physically quivering.

Utica, we voted twice, right?

We voted the first round,
and there was a tie.

How did that make you feel,

when it went from the six of us
to suddenly the two of y'all?

or maybe I should have
chimed in more.

too much for everybody.

So I was
a little down on myself

with that fact,
but I really wanna be here,

join in with you guys.

And we saw that after
Kahmora's nail fell off.

I mean, I'm not hiding,

but it kind of broke my heart
to hear you say it.

Because 30 years ago,
I understand.

Homosexuality was taboo.

But now we've come full circle,

and you're experiencing
the same thing.

You know, what is it about that
situation with your parents?

It's just, like,
at least for my situation,

like, coming from a very strict,

Asian, like, traditional
family household,

they expect me to be,
like, a doctor or a lawyer

and all that, you know?

And, like, this is not something
that they would be accepting of.

And, you know, like,

just coming out to them
in general was really hard.

And, like, I felt like
when I came out to my mom,

she was, like, really
disappointed in me.

I'm afraid to, like, tell her
that I actually do this,

because I don't wanna
disappoint her again, you know?

to hide anything either.

It's just, like, you know,

I did tell her I do dress up
in women's clothing.

But she doesn't know

I haven't showed her
any pictures of anything.

I had the biggest fear
coming out to my mom and my dad.

Coming out as a drag queen,
it was very difficult,

because they basically thought
I was a stripper, you know.

But, you know, we're artists,

and we, like,
are living our best life

through this beautiful art.

And for me,
when I came out to them,

I just thought it was gonna be

the end of, like, my
relationship with your family.

But let me just say

that they are missing out
on who Kahmora is.

I was so excited

What I was not expecting,

and what no other girls who've
been on Drag Race before

will experience
is face masks, face shields,

being in drag and having
to cover your face

to get from stage to stage.

Being segregated in a hotel room

where only four specific people
can physically touch you

because you had to quarantine.

Right.

I don't know
if you guys are, like,

in the same place
that I'm at with that,

but that was
an adjustment for me,

and I really struggled
with that in the beginning.

I think, to be honest,
I completely agree.

But even more so than that,

I think just the strides
that we obviously had to endure

and make to get here

during the onset
and heart of the pandemic,

as far as just
getting shit together.

Yeah, I mean,
big city girls got lucky,

but, like, for other people--

Very lucky the last minute.

Were the, like, fabric stores
accessible and things?

Were they open?

What's crazy, too,
is, like, all of us

have lived basically
almost, you know,

over half the year
in isolation.

For someone like me,

who thrives off of human energy

and communication
and friendship,

that is the most
difficult thing for me.

Utica gave me a hug,

and I realized I hadn't
gotten a hug in two weeks.

That was the first hug
that I've had.

Human touch.
