Your highness.

The concubine has been waiting for a long time.

Tan

Mother

Are you feeling better?

Let me have a look.

Much better. Mother, don't worry any more.

This time, it's only a flesh wound.

She'll kill you next time.

What a vicious heart!

How can she serve as the model for women?

Mother, how do you know it was the empress who did it?

Only you and the Xie family

can threaten the crown prince's future power and position.

I was thinking that

it was the matter between you and Awu that really upset her.

I will be more careful in the future.

Never have a loophole for others to exploit.

Now you are under the protection of your father the emperor.

But in the future, when the crown prince becomes emperor,

the Wangs grab all the power,

there's no way for you to live.

Always I don't seek fame and wealth.

But this matter, it is vital to your fate.

No matter how hard, I must take you into consideration.

How unfilial I am.

I'm sorry to bother you, mother.

Your honor,

What?

The princess royal has entered the palace.

Then I'll meet her.

Yes

Tan

You still have to be careful.

I remember.

I'm off.

Wanru sister,

what about Zitan?

He got your effective medicine.

He's much better.

I really want to see him.

But father and aunt...

Zitan understands.

You two

be more patient.

Everything will achieve your wishes.

Wanru sister,

On the day I get married,

you must come and see me off.

I'm from the Xie family.

I should companied Zitan to greet you.

I don't care.

I think of you as my mother's family.

In the future, if Zitan bullies me,

you can't stand up for him.

You see.

As if you wish you were married now.

Aren't you ashamed?

No.

Not ashamed?

No.

Not ashamed?

No.

Not ashamed?

My sister

If one day,

you find your Mr. Right.

You will know what shame is.

What's up?

What's up?

I'm getting married.

When I heard that Princess Shangyang and my son were both attacked,

I had a sleepless night.

How vicious are those who made the attack?

I am full of indignation indeed.

If I find out who is responsible,

I hope to cut him into pieces.

Princess royal

we both know that

they two have already attached to each other early.

This time, they were in danger together.

In the future, they are more inseparable.

Concubine, what do you mean?

It was not a royal gift.

It was before I enter the palace,

my mother hand it to me.

I have long planed

to pass on to ZiTan's wife in the future.

Princess royal, please give it to princess Shangyang for me.

Emm...

Princess royal

You were born in palace,

A treasure of high price is also common to you.

But it means something different.

I hope you won't refuse.

Princess royal, you know

In our Xie family,

the eldest son or grandson had only one wife in his life.

If Zitan has the honor to marry Princess Shangyang,

he'll live up to it forever.

Concubine, thank you for your kindness.

Jinmin felt the same way.

This time I am asking for it from royal brother.

If royal princess doesn't care,

I would like to go with you.

A good couple is made by nature.

That's great.

Get married?

Getting married should be happy.

Who are you going to marry?

Xiao Qi.

The daughter of the Xie family,

unexpectedly marries a man of low class

My sister

Although Xiao Qi was born in low class

he is our hero of Cheng.

I think

he is better than the sons of noble class in the capital.

Father also said

the sons of noble class had swords at their waists.

But they never fought at all.

He also said although Xiao Qi is young,

he has been battle-hardened.

Now the military power is in hand.

The fact that he was made a king unconventionally is really dignitary.

Duke Xie is right.

What's the use of all that nice talk.

I am the one who ended up marrying to him.

I spent a few days quarreling with my father.

But my father said,

I have to marry.

If I refuse, I will be tied and sent to get married.

My sister

Have you ever seen him?

I heard that

he is a strange man with three heads and six arms.

Don't scare me.

I'm kidding.

I have never seen him, either.

The day after tomorrow, Xiao Qi will enter the capital.

The emperor is going out to welcome him.

The three prince will be present.

Really?

Shall we take a look together?

Good

But watching the ceremony at the gate,

is not what we girls do.

Who said that?

I have an idea.

Naughty

Wanru

Why are you?

Mr. Wang

Brother

Two days later, Ningshuo General will return to the capital

The emperor uncle will reward the military.

Can you take us both to

watch the ceremony?

Is there anything wonderful to see?

You tell me the truth.

Do you really want to see Ningshuo General,

or other people?

Ningshuo General, of course

Shining spears and armored horses, that's the men's business.

Isn't it possible to watch it at the palace night banquet

Is there anything wonderful to see?

Palace night banquet

Even the General of Ningshuo who killed numerous enemies

will wear a mask

So, what will Awu desire to see?

Daddy

Prime Minister, my uncle

Father

I want to see what distinguishes the general, the battlefield hero

from other generals who did not enter into a battle

What is the difference in your mind?

All the noble class of the capital wear a sword around their waist

but most of them did not go to the battle field for a real fight all their lives

In contrast, Xiao Qi, though quite young in age

has been field-tested as a veteran for many times

So, I just want to know him

what's a person he really is

A good daughter of the Wang's

You are even more aspiring than men

So, you agreed, father?

Go with your elder bro

Go to see the military power of the Lord of Yuzhang

Thank you, father.

The daughter of the Wang's family is quite aspiring, you see?

But for you, the son

Just going on the binge and showing off literary skill all day long

By doing these, you think you can bring glory to the family?

You can dismiss

Come on

Draw a good picture of your father, my dear

Come on

Brother

If you can be swapped with Awu

I could be much relieved

Brother

What's you said

is also the wish of Awu?

Your Majesty

You have watched they grow up

No one could know better the wishes of Awu than you

Yes, royal Concubine is quite right.

Awu is longing to marry

her dear bro Zitan

Jinruo just has such one daughter

so, I want my daughter to get what she wants

It is the wish of Awu

and the hope of you, my royal Concubine and the royal sister

So, I must approve it

Jinruo is grateful for this, your majesty

And both I and my child

are in gratitude for your approval, my majesty

Well

Just get up

My dear

you should go back now

I will have a talk with my sister

I will leave then, majesty

Jinruo

Recall the past, mother, the empress forced you to marry into the Wang's

Sorry to make you go through all this.

No, my majesty, I don't suffer anything

At that time

Jinruo was very young

It was an order of our mother, the empress dowager

and was also a good thing for me

For all these years,

You are the princess royal

the wife of the Prime Minister

a noble among the nobles

But only I know that

The Emperor Mother and I

have owed too much to you

I already feel satisfactory and contented

As long as they have a great life

with my son and daughter, your majesty

Tell me, Princess Royal

You have shared a bed with Wang Lin for dozens of years

Have you really known him?

Strange bedfellows

Wang's family has great power and high status.

For all these years,

Wang Lin has become more and more powerful in the imperial court.

I have to think about it and beware of him.

I wonder

whether Jinruo

is now my sister

or wife of the prime minister?

Did you mean that

Princess Royal and Xie Concubine

went to meet the Emperor?

Yes

Many people in the court have already seen it.

And

Concubine Xie talked happily

with Princess Royal along the way.

It doesn't matter

The more certain they are,

the more painful they feel when they lose it.

I'll wait and see.

No,

Mom

I can't wait any more.

If we still stand aside,

Awu and Zitan will...

I?

Well, what do you want to do?

Mom

I miss Awu.

I want to see her.

I have to let her know that

I'm the one

who loves her most.

Will Awu trust you?

What am I supposed to do?

You look very happy.

It's just a bracelet.

Don't you own bracelets in the prime minister mansion?

This is different.

You once told me that

this precious bracelet is handed down from the Concubine's ancestors.

And it's for the wife of Brother Zitan.

As the saying goes, a grown girl can't be kept at home.

You hasn't got married yet,

but It seems that you prefer your future mother-in-law to your mother.

Mother

Mom, I love you from the bottom of my heart forever.

And you're the one who loves me the most.

Right?

I'v heard your laughter from afar.

What's the good news?

What do you hold in your hand?

Mother

This is a secret between you and me.

Don't let Dad know about it.

My little girl,

it won't be long

before you get married.

Daddy

I'm not talking to you anymore.

Awu

loves Zitan whole-hearted,

and will marry no one but him.

The Emperor also approved them today.

Is that Zitan?

What's your idea, darling?

Since it is the emperor's decision

even though I'm her father,

My opinion is no longer useful.

While investigating the alien race,

Gu Yong met his royal second prince in the brothel.

He always indulges himself like that.

My lord,

The crown prince and the second prince are arriving.

Call Awu to come here.

Duke Zhenguo is the uncle of the crown prince.

And Awu and His Royal Highness are going to get married.

So,

Duke Zhenguo will be the father-in-law of Crown Prince.

In the future,

Crown Prince will succeed to the throne.

Zhenguo Duke is both the father-in-law and the uncle

Brother Zilv.

You babble a lot.

Did the emperor uncle agree?

Awu

The crown prince brought the gift.

You haven't thanked him enough.

Why so eagerly attentive if you have nothing special?

Behave yourself

sister Awu

sister Awu

Would you like to have a look

What did I bring you?

Sister Awu

These minks

It was your brother Zilong who killed it by himself.

And the old clothes-makers in the palace.

Carefully sewing.

The dimensions were all looked by himself.

It must be suit for you.

Why don't you try it?

You said it fits me

Why should I try it?

Brother Zilong

It has been so many years

What did Awu like

You really don't know?

Awu felt uncomfortable.

I will leave first.

What did Awu like about it?

Just joke, don't take it seriously.

Give it to me

And I will sent it to Awu.

The crown prince

Don't you like to hunt?

Yeah, my uncle.

Hunt a tame rabbit

And hunt a wild elk.

Which is more interesting?

Of course the latter.

Thanks for uncle to gave directions.

My arms

I got that disease when I hug Awu that year.

Empress

Empress

The crown prince has returned.

How about?

Looks like nothing.

Pass me a message.

Xiaoqi's banquet for the Lord

Should let Awu to come here!

Yes

A child from a poor family entered the city.

And I have to welcome him by myself.

What a burning shame

The low class was blocked for the Lord

Ride on the head of my noble class.

Break our House rules for a hundred years.

After I died

I have no face to see the ancestors.

Sir, here's the tea

Leave it here

There must be no more people in that place.

Get rid of him quickly.

Yes

The prime minister, prime minister

The prime minister came here early.

Did not came here early as Duke Xie.

I heard that Duke Xie has found a good son-in-law.

Congratulations!

The prime minister was well informed.

Even my Xie family's affairs.

You know all about it.

Duke Xie made an alliance with the frontier general

Our first Lord of another surname in Cheng

He will become the son-in-law of the Xie family.

Is this still a family matter?

The Prime Minister makes sense

For the two families of Wang and Xie.

Country and families have become one thing since long ago.

Princess is in a good mood today.

I wonder who she's going to see later.

You, little girl.

Later I'll tell your mother to let you marry off.

I don't want you to talk in my ears.

That is because

I see you are going to see the Your Highness today.

I'm happy for you.

He is always on my mind.

Since his injury

I haven't seen him yet.

Princess

You are very beautiful today.

Your Highness meets you later

he must be very happy.

Brother.

Don't take it seriously.

The Xie family in Chen town.

Request a soldier as a husband.

What's there to be proud of?

You're just like Gu Yong.

You're all stupid.

Wanru sister,

Be hurry up!

Do you think everyone will do as you?

The same as a monkey

Hundreds of long stairs

Which young lady of noble class can breath and jump up?

All right, all right, stop chasing her.

Let her go by herself.

When my mother was pregnant with her.

She was a boy originally.

She changed outlook but her temper.

Brother Su's jokes are not funny at all.

Then why are you laughing?

It'll be here soon.

Awu

Why they haven't arrived yet?

Who are you here to see on earth?

Xiao Qi

I knew you not came here for me really.

Good sister

Of course I am sincere to accompany you

Visit General Xiao.

It's just

I'd like to see Brother Zitan by the way

He was injured for several days.

I'm really worried.

I think your caring

is the best remedy for him

Look at your girls.

I regret bringing you here.

Look at Zitan.

I really envy you and Zidan

growing up together.

Know each other and love each other

Isn't that sister Awu?

Do not know what kind of person as that Xiao Qi

It is said that he is an indomitable hero.

If you marry with him.

You will never be bullied in the future.

Who needs his protection?

Come on, come on! Be quickly.

We're taking a short tour of the capital.

Just passing over here.

I'm just doing what I can.

It does not deserve to be mentioned.

General Xiao, please stand up.

He doesn't even understand the basic etiquette of meeting the emperor

He only knows

how to fight and kill.

I can't see it clearly.

But I just think

That's what a hero looks like.

All soldiers, please stand up.

General Shao

Please follow me and travel the city.

A child from low class

Dare to walk beside father.

Who is it?

Grand Preceptor Gu

Guarding the emperor!

Uncle Gu

Bastard ruin the nation.

That is to say Xiao Qi.

Can't think of it.

Really admonish with death.

You're a princess

You wanted to see the general enter the city

That's the end

You're so scared now

I will see whether you'll be fooling around any more.

Daddy

Isn't it to title Xiaoqi as a Lord?

Then, why did uncle Gu...?

Awu

Dad asked you

Have you seen

how did Gu Yong jump down?

No

The two of us were just watching Ningshuo army to enter the city.

The rest we didn't notice

Well...

Awu has already been scared

Can't you ask her another day?

Well

Firstly, the prince was assassinated.

A few days later

a minister committed suicide in front of me.

Today

You must give me an explanation.

Your Majesty

Gu Yong is the minister I recommended as prince's teacher

These years he has devoted to national affairs.

I didn't expect he would get this tragedy

I beg you to issue the order

I will personally oversee the case.

Who else is there in his family?

The son of Gu Yong died young.

And there is a granddaughter.

Called Gu Caiwei

There is also a grandson Gu Minwen

He worked in the Zhongshu Ministry

Pass the imperial edict

Yes

Grant Gu Caiwei as the princess of Yunyao County

Gu Minwen take the place of his dad

to escort Gu Yong's coffin back to the hometown for burial

and after mourning, return to the capital for office

Yes

Thank you, majesty.

Your Majesty

I was puzzled and did not know anything.

Didn't Gu like Xiao Qi to such extent that

he had to bleed on the spot?

Duke Xie

In the eyes of many officials

Gu Yong is risking his life

to protect the faces of our noble class.

Too foolish

This is the residence I chose for general in the capital.

Originally, today

emperor will hold a banquet of your Titling in the palace

to welcome the general

I didn't expect Gu would do like that

It seems that this royal banquet had to delay a few days.

Can I ask Duke Xie.

This Grand Preceptor Gu.

We have no precedent of a poor family to be titled as a Lord in our House.

That is why many ministers are against making you a Lord.

Especially this Gu Yong.

He made dead admonition several times in front of the emperor.

I didn't expect him to be...

But do not worry, General.

Lord titling

As long as my Xie family is here

it will never change

You two should get out of the capital as soon as you can.

And tell soldiers.

Without my order.

No one is allowed to move

No, General

Hu Yao and I came to the capital for the first time.

We didn't go any place.

You just let us go.

You can have the tour later

General

Is this banquet a Hongmen banquet?

The capital is really dangerous.

Why don't you come out of town with us?

Keep watch outside the city

I'll be safe in capital

Yes

Prime Minister and General.

Though Grand Preceptor Gu has only

a mark of scratch on the neck.

But it was suspended in three quarters of the time from 7 am to 9 am.

Two hours have passed by now.

The spots on Grand Preceptor Gu's body

have turned deep red.

When we press the spots on body.

There is no discoloration.

It means that

All the blood in his body.

It's already cooled down.

According to my calculation.

Lord Gu's time of death would have been around,

Four hours ago

This is not idle talk, right?

I dare not

You really got it?

I did serial autopsy for more than thirty years.

It's a small problem.

I can calculate it right.

Go outside and say nothing

Go away

Though Gu Yong was a fierce man by nature.

But he was always cautious.

Of course he understood that.

Even if he committed suicide

It was hard to stop the emperor from titling the lord

If this is real,

he had been killed before he was pushed downstairs.

What did you think?

Who could have done it?

Gu Yong recently

has investigated Zitan's case

It might not be that

What did he find out?

Emm...

Since Gu Yong became a member of the Wang's family many years. ago

He has been in charge of the Military Ministry

controlling the army of the country

Since he's dead,

There will be changes to the control of the Military Ministry

Recently a few strange things happened in the palace.

But just then

the emperor ordered Xiao Qi to go back to the capital from the north for titling the Lord

I'm afraid it's more than a coincidence.

But, elder brother

if this thing

was really aimed at our Wang family

Shall we make some early preparation

from the side of the Imperial Guards?

Some people want to make waves from it.

Should plan early.

Well

Just keep in mind

Don't spill the beans on the queen

Yes

How about Xiao Qi?

Shall we just see him becoming Xie's son-in-law?

I have my own arrangements.

What's going on?

I understand.

But this is not a small matter.

Please think twice, empress.

Long winded.

I've got a job for you.

How can you be so reluctant?

Are you trying to upset me?

I dare not. I dare not!

Just get up

I don't want to do that either.

It's just that the Prince is in a hurry.

As his mother.

I have no choice but to plan for him.

Don't worry

It's just a personal matter for the Wang's family.

Once it is revealed.

I'll take care of it myself.

Brother Zitan.

The world is changing.

Uncle Gu came to visit the Minister's house two days ago.

Now he is dead.

And it happened all around us.

Do you remember what I told you?

My little girl,

It should always be laughing.

I am here.

Don't be afraid of anything.

Push harder and harder.

Tighten the rope. Tighten the rope.

Pull it tight here. Pull it tight here.

Tighten the rope with force.

Chop quickly!

Wangan.

What is this for?

Princess

Why did you cut down this tree?

We are under the orders of the Master of the House.

Wangan didn't know either.

Daddy asked you to cut it?

Yes, Your Highness.

Princess

Go on, chop quickly, chop quickly!

Daddy

West wall of the backyard...

Alright.

Come back.

A thief visited our house yesterday.

Do you know that?

If you really want to protect yourself from thieves.

Why don't we cut down all the trees in the house?

That' s a good idea.

Anyway, our Wang family's treasure

It can't be stolen by outsiders.

Wangan.

Bring out all the axes.

Father

Even if I am made a princess.

Endowed Xiao Qi as Lord

I wouldn't marry that hillbilly either.

Stop.

Follow me to the main hall immediately.

Father

Don't you really...

care about your daughter at all?

That Xiao Qi holds a strong army.

If he can be used by our Xie family.

Hr can protect the long lasting fortune of our Xie family

I am your daughter.

I'm not your chess piece

Xie Wanru. Let me tell you.

You have to marry this Xiao Qi

Father

Father

Jin'er, hurry up, it's already started.

Hurry up.

The banquet for titling Lord is about to begin.

Has third prince arrived?

He should be here now.

Princess

Empress is looking for you

Aunt is looking for me?

Is the aunt not in the Great Hall?

Will I go after the end of the King Granting Banquet?

Since empress has ordered

you'd better go there first

Well

Then please guide me there

Empress ordered

princess goes there by herself

She has something to say

Your Highness, this way

How Awu has not come yet?

Today

is a day for grand ceremony of Cheng Empire

Looking back

when King Jianning initially pacified the north territory

he led soldiers to open up wasteland at Beifu

stationed the army at Ningshuo

It has been over 20 years

Who can expect

a small Ningshuo Army 20 years ago

can develop into a powerful army

and succeed in all attacks and defeat all enemies

General Shao

You are the third generation general of Ningshuo Army

It is you who led

200,000 officers and soldiers of Ningshuo Army

that killed king of Hulan

and protect the wonderful land for me

Order

Ningshuo General Xiao Qi, receive Imperial Edict

Ningshuo General Xiao Qi

Open up and protect the land

achieve great achievement

Title him as Yuzhang Lord
