I understand that siblings can push your buttons.

I've definitely gotten in little things like that

with my sisters over the years,

but we're talking 30, 40 years ago.

I'm not talking as grown-ass women

in our 40s and 50s.

Family is the most important thing,

and for Brandi to try to get in the middle of that

is just totally not cool.

and knowing what it is like to have families

there's just nothing that Kyle can do.

Sometimes family gets tired of it.

No, I know, and I think that she's been through it

for a lot of years.

But I just don't want anything bad to happen to Kim.

She's in a state of, like, crazy emotional crisis right now

with everyone coming, going, weddings, deaths.

It's a lot for anyone, even if you're 100% healthy.

(Brandi) Kim's sobriety and being recently sober

makes her more fragile to everything.

You have to put in time to have strength,

and it's been a short amount of time.

I just don't want the women to get the wrong idea,

and I could tell that they did last night.

I don't think that they know the ins and outs

of everything that she's got on her plate.

and be under a lot of pressure.

I don't know what is going on with my sister.

She was not herself,

and I know she was in a lot of pain, she said,

Before I left the house, Monty gave me something

for the pain that the doctor gave me.

And I took it, and that's it.

I don't think... this doesn't sound like it's related

to anything to may have occurred last night.

(Kyle) Often, sibling relationships are complicated,

but I think, with Kim and me,

there's a whole other dynamic

because of her sobriety

and my not knowing how to handle it always.

I just... I feel like she's under a lot of pressure

with Monty.

Were they drinking?

Alcohol is such an ugly thing.

Most people say things that are just mean and nasty.

Not everybody does.
