[Poisoned Love]

[Episode 18 ]

Fang Yan.

Your official announcement,

why didn't you discuss it with us?

I didn't think so much,

and I can help promote the movie.

Furthermore,

I want the best for the movie.

You want the best for it?

You think I don't know what you want?

If you make the official announcement,

you'll be labelled as Shi Yi's girlfriend.

It'll be over for you and Shi Meng.

Stop it.

I have already decided.

Fine. Tell me what's your next step?

This...

I need to discuss with Shi Yi.

You are using moral kidnapping...

to force her into submission,

and to keep her by your side.

Aren't you?

In your eyes,

if the way I am protecting her is moral kidnapping,

then I have nothing to say.

You promised to let me take care of her,

you should let go of your feelings entirely.

I promised to push her away,

so she can stay with you and treat her illness,

not let you bind her feelings by using this method.

She's free to express her feelings.

This is only your wishful thinking.

I seek her opinion in all my decisions.

The one who's not willing to let go...

is you.

Are you sure about this?

Well then,

one more thing.

Move in with me.

I mean,

if we make an official announcement about us,

we must make it believable.

Furthermore,

the security in Zuo Yao's residential area is not perfect,

I'm afraid you may be in danger.

If you move in with me,

nobody will disturb you.

It seems to have affected Zuo Yao and Zuo You's lives.

-But I... -Don't worry.

My house is huge, I have several bedrooms.

Perhaps,

it can be a rented room.

How does that sound?

[Anyway, the official announcement is just for show.]

[We shouldn't involve Zuo Yao and Zuo You.]

[Looks like that's my only option.]

Come in.

-Thank you. -Come in.

Okay.

I can show you around.

There are bedrooms upstairs.

Okay.

Come with me.

This is...

This is my mum's room.

You can stay in this room if you want.

No, I am good.

I can't stay in Aunt Ling's room.

Let's go to second floor.

Okay.

There are two rooms on the second floor,

there are more on third floor.

It's fine.

I...

I can take this one.

Can I?

All right.

Let me help you move your things inside.

I can do it myself.

Thank you.

I shall go in first.

-[I've arranged with public relations.] -Okay.

[By the way,]

[Fang Yan has moved in with Shi Yi.]

Got it.

[I have the best elder brother in the world since I was little.]

[We watched gosling hatched.]

[We watched the stars together.]

[Played red light, green light.]

[We went on adventure together.]

[One day,]

[he left me.]

[I couldn't find my way home.]

[I was locked up in a little house.]

[Looks like...]

[this is Shi Meng's room.]

[Inside the house,]

[there was a little girl.]

[In order to calm her down,]

[I sang her a nursery rhyme.]

[I told her,]

[I am Shi Meng Jun.]

Shi Meng.

Shi Meng Jun.

A dream eater.

Why does it sound so familiar?

[Finally, I escaped.]

[But I have never seen her again.]

[After that,]

[Dad left me].

[I was kidnapped when I was eight years old.]

[When you were locked in that dark room,]

[you must be scared.]

[The scarier part was,]

[when I escaped and returned home,]

[I found out my father went looking for me,]

[and he disappeared.]

[Ever since that incident,]

[I dare not sleep with the lights off.]

[Shi Meng]

Did you sleep well last night?

Yes. Why are you up so early?

I am going to the studio today,

thought of making you breakfast,

and I couldn't sleep.

You don't have to do this,

I can order food delivery.

It's nothing. Have a seat.

You are a public figure now,

you must be careful.

You can't simply order delivery.

Are you afraid your fans will terrorise me?

Yes.

You are very important now.

Take your meals at home, don't let anyone enter the house.

I am going off now.

I am going off now.

Bye-bye.

Bye-bye.

Does he think I can eat a lot?

Does he think I am a pig?

Fang Yan.

What are you doing here?

I...

Where is Shi Yi?

He left.

I'll wait for him.

Leave it, you are very clumsy.

Did you say I am clumsy?

You are...

Don't deny it.

Stand up.

I...

I told you to leave it.

Sit down.

Looks like you are not a good cook.

Shi Yi left without eating.

Shi Yi cooked these.

Have you taken your breakfast?

Do you want breakfast?

I want coffee.

Coffee?

I don't know where the coffee is.

In the kitchen,

inside the cabinet.

Okay.

I can't seem to get rid of you no matter where I go.

What did you say?

Nothing.

I was talking to the coffee.

Coffee.

I found it.

Your coffee.

I am sorry,

I was hungry.

The coffee...

You can have it.

Are you full?

I am full.

Have some more?

Next time.

Why would someone send me a parcel?

What are you doing?

Don't move.

Don't simply answer the door.

I...

Hey, that parcel belongs to...

me.

[Leave Shi Yi or I'll kill you.]

Hello, did the courier company manage to trace it?

[The courier company have already checked.]

[The sender's address is fake.]

[The security department...]

[will check with those who know Shi Yi's address.]

What about the journalist?

[Didn't Shi Yi's public relations department check on this?]

[I told K about this.]

[She said she'll let me know soon.]

Follow-up with public relations again.

And think of a way...

to get the CCTV recording near the courier drop off point.

See if you can find some clues.

[I'll go check on it.]

Okay, understand.

I'll talk to Brother Shi Yi.

This is reckless.

There's no announcement yet,

and fanatic fans are launching an attack.

We can't hype this news anymore.

The fans are unhappy...

not because I am in love with Fang Yan,

but they think Fang Yan is not fit to be my girlfriend.

If that's the case,

why don't we hype it up?

Strengthen her persona,

create more news to market Fang Yan.

I want them to love Fang Yan,

to accept Fang Yan as my girlfriend.

But this...

It won't take long to nurture our fans.

The public relations department...

has released the news various times.

If we withdraw the announcement now,

the fans will make wild guesses.

It is to our advantage.

-Brother Shi Yi. -That's enough.

Call public relations...

and tell them...

I'll arrange it personally.

Brother Shi Yi!

Hello.

[The police is involved.]

[They traced the source of the photos to Ni Na.]

[But Ni Na said she was careless,]

[she posted the photos but not the scary toy.]

[According to the courier,]

[the information given is fake.]

Get security to send me all the information.

[Give me your hand.]

Didn't you say I am troublesome?

Why do you care for me?

[Don't simply answer the door.]

What does he want to do?

Why can't I answer the door?

Shi Yi, is that you?

Shi Yi.

[Don't simply answer the door.]

Oh no, I left my cell phone downstairs.

-Don't come near me. -It's me, Sister Fang Yan.

-Sister Fang Yan. -I...

Don't come near me.

I am sorry, I didn't know you are here.

How did you come in?

I have the house key.

-Thank you. -It's for you.

I am sorry about just now.

I was scared.

-Are you all right? -I am fine.

I rang the doorbell.

Maybe you didn't hear.

I was upstairs.

It was scary just now.

Luckily, it was you.

I am here to collect Brother Shi Yi's demo.

No hurry, have a sip of water first.

Okay.

K,

how long have you been Shi Yi's assistant?

I started since I graduated from university.

To be more accurate, I started before I graduated.

I was already his fan when I was in school.

Everyone in the dormitory was his fan.

You have stayed by his side for so many years,

and you are a fan too.

Of course.

Brother Shi Yi is our idol.

Every single since his debut,

I've played it countless times.

I never missed his concert.

I am willing to do anything for him.

Even if I can only watch from afar,

I am happy.

Fans...

They don't like their idols to engage in a relationship?

Sister Fang Yan.

Do you know there's a saying amongst the fans?

When the idol falls in love,

he will be decapitated.

I am joking, Sister Fang Yan.

Don't be scared.

Aren't you looking for the demo?

Where is it? I'll get it.

It's in Brother Shi Yi's black bag.

His black bag.

Come in.

Mr Shi.

You requested...

all the information about the scandal.

Okay, you can go out now.

[Kong Xiao Wei]

Hello.

-Is K with you? -What's the matter?

Why ask about her?

I want to know where she is.

[She went to my house to get something for me.]

What?

K, I found it, is this the one?

K.

K.

[Shi Meng]

[The number you dialled is temporarily unanswered.]

[Hello.]

What happened?

Tell me the details.

[Fang Yan is in danger.]

-What? -[I am on my way to your house.]

Fang Yan is in danger?

K.

What's the matter?

What are you doing, K?

K.

You spread the news on internet.

You took photos of me and Shi Yi, didn't you?

Is there a misunderstanding?

Shi Yi and I are friends.

You don't deserve to call his name.

Since you came,

Shi Yi has changed.

Because of you,

he ignored his reputation,

and lost his fans.

For him to get to where he is today,

did you know it's not easy?

Did you know how hard I work for him over the years?

[I've checked on K.]

[Since your debut,]

[she has been your fan.]

[When she's in university,]

[she missed her oral defence to interview as your assistant.]

[She didn't get her certificate.]

[She's the president of your fans club,]

[she has made a mark for herself.]

[When news of you and Fang Yan leaked out,]

[she publicly announced...]

[to boycott Fang Yan.]

That's right.

I like him.

It's unconditional love.

The one thing I want to do most...

is to help him become the superstar of the century.

But you...

You ruined everything.

You want to say I'll go to jail?

That's fine, I don't care.

The most meaningful thing in my life,

is to be with Brother Shi Yi.

But you...

You ruined all my dreams for Shi Yi.

I can't stay by his side anymore.

Everything is meaningless now.

I want you to return Shi Yi to me.

Fang Yan!

Don't be afraid, the police is on the way.

The police is on the way.

Don't be afraid.

Are you hurt?

You made me do this!

Calm down, K.

Stop moving,

or we'll die together.

K,

put it down.

You forced me to do this.

As long as this woman is with Shi Yi,

I can't do anything.

-Today, I... -You misunderstood, K.

Fang Yan loves me.

-I love her too. -This is not true.

She loves Shi Yi,

and Shi Yi is attracted by her.

She really loves me.

Calm down.

Are you trying to buy time?

Didn't you say you love her?

Prove it to me.

If you love him,

prove it to me now.

The person I love is really him.

Liar!

-It's all right. -Are you all right?

Liars! Don't pretend in front of me.

Do you think I am stupid?

-K. -You hurt me,

you hurt Shi Yi.

You'll ruin Shi Yi.

Go to hell, all of you.
