‐ Mr. Leopold is the last home that's willing to take you.

‐ Meet Julia. ‐ I'm Mr. Leopold.

JULIA: I think it collects the last of things,

like Tuko and the creature from last night.

‐ Who thinks we should help?

[creature roaring]

[electricity zapping]

‐ Your company... HEWES: Finds things.

[helicopter whirring]

DRIVER [over radio]: Target acquired, Ms. Hewes.

‐ We'll do the rest on foot.

Ready?

[helicopter whirring]

♪ mysterious music playing ♪

He's noticed us.

[growling softly]

[growls]

You know how polar bears catch their prey?

It's called still hunting.

Crouch at the edge of the sea ice in complete silence,

waiting for their prey to come to them.

[grunting]

‐ And when they do?

‐ Kill or be killed.

[polar bear growling]

[Greta exhales]

[growling]

[roaring softly]

‐ [laughs] Thanks, Mom.

[rumbling softly]

‐ Okay, wait, wait. Greta, hold on.

We have to wait till the tranquilizer gets fully absorbed.

‐ I think it's absorbed. ‐ [both laugh softly]

‐ PB17 tranqued.

Heading in to collar now.

‐ I get to put the collar on.

[grunts]

‐ Wait for me! [laughs]

GRETA: Could this really be the last polar bear?

HEWES: Unfortunately, yes.

[breathing softly]

Climate breakdown is particularly hard on Arctic wildlife.

But, at least now you and I can keep an eye on this big guy.

[polar bear breathing slowly]

[ice cracking]

‐ [Greta panting] ‐ It'll be okay.

DRIVER [over radio]: En route.

TECH 2 [over speaker]: The containment unit is complete.

SHARON: So, let's get started, shall we?

Hi, Johnny.

JOHNNY: Okay, Jules. Your turn.

JULIA: Guys, really! Johnny! JOHNNY: Julia?

Ling, help!

[Julia yelling]

[energy blasting]

‐ They're headed into town.

JULIA: Okay, Tabby, you can do this.

[energy whirling]

‐ Ling! [Ling croaking]

[Ling chittering]

SHARON: What have you been up to since our last visit?

‐ Um, not much.

‐ Same old.

‐ Wouldn't you like to know.

‐ [chuckles softly] And how are you feeling?

‐ Good.

‐ Good. ‐ Good.

‐ I get these really dark thoughts sometimes.

Like, to do things to people.

Things I don't wanna do.

The voices keep telling me to.

Kidding. I'm all good.

‐ [both chuckle nervously] ‐ Okay.

JULIA: I miss him.

But I'm fine.

‐ You know, Finn, if you ever wanna talk about anything,

Detecting trace elements of nitrogen,

HEWES: What does it mean?

‐ Whatever's in there is plant based.

I wanted to talk to you about something. JULIA: Mr. Leopold, quick!

‐ Sounds like another endling's escaped.

[Ling vocalizing]

[squishing noises]

[birds chirping]

[chittering]

[Ling chittering]

‐ Ling, what's wrong?

[growling softly]

[trumpeting]

[chuffing]

‐ Everything's gonna be okay.

[grunting, roars softly]

[chittering]

[grunts]

HEWES: Report.

‐ Specimen appears to be unaffected by extraction.

‐ Get me a closer look.

[beeping]

You're gonna help me find someone I've been looking for

for a very, very long time.

I think I know where the other endling is.

JOHNNY: Are those buildings?

TABBY: I used to look inside people's windows.

A lot.

I'd see them inside with their families,

eating dinner or watching TV.

Just hanging out.

And I'd wish that was my family.

That my mom was okay, and that we were happy.

But then I realized that if all the things that happen in my life,

good and bad, didn't happen,

then I wouldn't be who I am today.

‐ That is a very grown‐up perspective.

‐ I'm mature for my age.

‐ You've come a long away, Tabby. What changed?

[playful chatter]

‐ I stopped wishing and started doing.

[gears whirring]

You're safe to get out now.

[alarm continues blaring]

[yells]

Take her to med bay.

[rumbling]

‐ Are you saying she has an endling?

‐ And we have to get it back.

[croaking softly]

[whimpering]

‐ [panting] There you are, Ling.

Any luck finding the endling?

‐ You're not Ling, are you?

[both yell]

‐ We have a perimeter alert.

[beeping]

Shall I have security escort them off the property?
