Pete and his pals are going to Cat Land Adventure, Cat

City's biggest amusement park.

What makes it even better, well, it's Sally's first time

at an amusement park.

Ooh.

[GIGGLES] This is also my first time being this excited.

Sally, I assure you, Cat City amusement

park will not disappoint.

And I've got a color-coded itinerary to be sure

you have the best day ever.

SALLY: Thank you, guys.

This is the biggest parking lot I've ever seen.

Well, cats and kittens, I think Sally finally got amused.

As you can see, the kids aren't in their classroom today.

Yep, everyone loves a field trip.

And even though our favorite blue cat was excited,

his artistic pal Emma the pug was the most excited.

It's our first field trip to Cat City Art Museum.

I hear they have all the arts.

Oh, oui.

And today's even more special because my favorite artist

of all time Wawa Weasel has his newest piece of art on display.

It's "The Singing Cabbage".

What does it look like?

I do not know.

No one has seen it yet.

It is a mystery of the art world.

I've never even heard of a singing cabbage.

If Emma likes it so much, "The Singing Cabbage" must be

the greatest piece of art ever.

And as the kids wandered around, certain pieces really seemed

to mean something to them.

It makes me think of what it would be like if I

rode my bike through the sky.

Pete, Pete, don't you love this?

It like they take all the arts and made a giant art tree.

More art is better than no art, baby.

And I want all the arts.

NARRATOR: Yep, it means something to them because it

makes them feel things.

And it makes them want to see more.

Pete, look at this mural.

It reminds me of my homeland.

I can almost smell the Patagonian rain.

[HUMMING] This artist painted Catco perfectly.

I feel like I'm at the concert.

I never knew art could be so realistic.

(SINGING) Catco and the Nine Lives.

[VOCALIZING]

NARRATOR: And for Callie and Gus,

well, art means something to them because it makes

them remember and feel things.

Oh, Pete, I love when art can make you feel

an emotion with just color--

a dance of happy red, joyous green, surprise

orange, and laughter pink.

Oh, how I love art.

NARRATOR: This painting made Pete feel like he was surfing.

Pete thought it was amazing how powerful art can be,

how it can transport you.

Hi, Pete.

Ah, "The Big Wave" is one of my favorites, too.

But now, it's finally time to see the new exhibit,

"The Singing Cabbage".

Did someone say--

I mean, cabbage.

I did.

It's time to see it.

It is a challenge of the will to walk

slowly when you are excited.

NARRATOR: Well, when the kids finally

saw "The Singing Cabbage", they went

from excited to shocked to confused to disappointed

to perplexed and back to confused.

To tell the truth, I think they went through every emotion

that a kid can have.

It is nothing.

How can Wawa Weasel's art be nothing?

Emma, maybe it's been stolen.

[GASP]

especially an artistic one.

So they worked hard on their versions

Well, I liked how that cloud bike painting got

my imagination going, so I thought

the singing cabbage could be tap dancing on a rainbow.

Very imaginative indeed.

Most excellent.

And you, Sally?

Well, I like how art could be made out of different kinds

of things, like all the things.

So I found an actual cabbage in the cafeteria

and made a statue of the singing cabbage out of all the good.

Very creative.

I love it!

Gustavo?

Art can remind me of home, so I painted the singing cabbage

as if it was in Patagonia.

It's like I'm there too.

Wonderful!

Callie, what works have you conjured?

I thought it was cool how art can be so real,

so I painted the singing cabbage as real as possible.

Your attention to detail is to be admired.

Well, Emma, what has my greatest fan created?

I have decided that my singing cabbage answered
