chauffeur completely disappeared.

have only been gone for 12 hours --

a missing-persons report --

so why are we here already?

Because at 8:00 this morning,
summers' wife and son went to the bank

and told the manager that he had been
kidnapped and was being held for ransom.

Right, which no one could give them because
summers' assets have been frozen by the fbi.

The son then told the manager that the
kidnapper had promised to kill summers

if the police were
