Young Blood

Episode 36

Sir,

can you speed up?

Take it easy.

I have to make it perfect.

Otherwise, how will others believe that

you really go out of the city?

It needn’t be perfect.

Those people who chase me…

Don’t worry.

I won’t kill you for the moment.

I have to ask you about the account book.

Those people in the way have gone.

I bring you back now.

Why kill me?

Can’t you understand me?

I won’t kill you right now.

Sir,

you have stuck your neck out at the beginning.

Do you find the special thing

about this room?

Writing brushes, ink sticks, papers and inkstones

as well as books and other things are placed in the left.

It shows that the owner

is a left-hander.

But you wrote

with your right hand.

You should be one of those people

who killed Lin Mosheng, right?

I’m curious

how do you find

the master’s residence?

And so fast.

Behind him,

there must be a big shot who is exceptionally adept at trickery.

At least,

this person knows Binzhou very well.

Let’s have a chat.

If you tell me the truth now,

I can spare your life.

Damn!

He has poisons in his mouth.

We can’t save him.

We almost get the answer.

Secret Repository taught us to

risk lives to guard secrets

and give no thought of death and life.

Those people are definitely not normal gangsters.

They are secret agents.

Which side?

We have to ask him.

Princess.

You know us?

Childe Lin has proposed a marriage alliance several times.

I know you, of course.

As for you,

Childe Lin arranged us to beat you,

so,

I remember your face.

I’m much-hated.

This is Childe Lin’s idea.

I bear you no grudge.

Tell me

why you are chased.

What the hell are you doing with Lin Mosheng?

It’s Childe Lin’s business.

As his servant, I daren’t ask him.

He’s unwilling to tell us.

Let’s do this.

Throw him in the downtown street

and see who will save him.

Or kill him.

How about taking a gamble?

Please don’t.

They will kill me.

They?

Who are they?

I don’t know.

You are unwilling to tell us, right?

I pull you out right now.

I really don’t know.

That night,

many people came to kill Childe Lin.

At that time, I was in the toilet.

So, I took the chance to escape.

As for who they are

and why they killed Childe Lin,

I… I really have no idea of it.

Why didn’t you notify the government?

The murderers

have good martial arts

and have killed all of them.

Even though I notify the government,

they will definitely kill me.

I daren’t go back to Lin family.

So,

I want to change my name,

run away from Binzhou

and live low until this thing blows over.

But they didn’t let you go.

I also don’t know

whom Childe Lin provoked.

Fine.

It seems that he tells us the truth.

Bring him back

and interrogate him slowly.

Let’s go.

Stay in the mansion of Prince Zhao for some days.

I’m back.

My Lord.

Have you found it?

There is an ambush in Lin Mosheng’s home.

Where is the account book?

It was snatched away.

And then you come bake like this?

I specially come back through the camp.

No people followed me.

Idiot!

Does it expose your identity?

It’s all my fault.

What do you find?

Some clues.

What about you?

I have caught that guard.

Where is he?

Zhao Jian brought him back.

I come here to check information with you

and see whether we can find the backstage manipulator.

Behave yourself.

I know.

It’s important to keep myself alive.

Even though you ask me out,

I won’t agree.

Jian!

Jian!

You’re back.

Father.

You are ill. Don’t run about.

There are some days before I come down with an illness.

What do you say?

Right.

I can’t say so.

Get down to the business.

That Childe

who gave betrothal presents comes here.

What presents?

What Childe?

That guy who passed the examination

and sent you the sand table.

Where is he?

Here is the thing.

In other words,

he doesn’t know why he is chased.

That guy who caught him mentioned an account book.

It may be this book.

What is it?

It seems nothing special.

That person who came to find this account book

disappeared in the camp of Wuwei Army.

It means that

this thing has something to do with Wuwei Army.

I rechecked it again.

Lin Mosheng asked those rogues

to keep close watch on the military camp,

in addition to merchants.

Because the military camp has high demand for materials.

It sounds sense.

Guess whom he kept watch on.

He must be a general or something.

Only they can establish connections

and monopolize the trade route to the camp.

You have seen him.

I sent people to chase Li Zhen.

I just got news.

That person whom I sent is dead.

Li Zhen is gone.

Li Zhen?

It seems that he doesn’t know specific details.

There is nothing to worry about.

They have Li Zhen and the account book in their hands.

They will discover

my identity sooner or later.

It’s all my fault.

I’m willing to accept death.

No hurry.

Save your life first.

Let’s talk about it after I accomplish my great cause.

One more thing.

Except the princess,

check the background

of those young people.

Get it.

Report, Captain Qin.

Come in.

Captain Qin,

there is something wrong with Xia’s imperial merchants.

Captain Qin Wuya?

That’s right.

Whereabouts of Qin Wuya

are recorded in this book.

All rogues who checked his whereabouts

happened to die violent death.

I still don’t understand.

Lin family has many guards.

Why does Lin Mosheng bought over rogues

to keep watch on people?

If he uses his own guards, it’s easy to catch others’ attention.

What role

does Qin Wuya

play in this incident?

My intuition tells me

that Qin Wuya can’t escape the responsibility with those secret agents.

Or,

he manipulates everything behind the scene.

But his son was almost killed that day in the market.

If he really manipulates everything,

is he willing to risk his son’s life?

The remaining

shall be answered by Li Zhen.

Princess.

Who moved my sand table?

You have done well actually.

But you missed some information.

With a wrong move,

you lose the whole game.

So,

you are doomed to lose.

Ding Er.

Long time no see.

Miss Zhao,

hope that you are well.

Oh, right,

you’re my wife now.

Lend me this account book.

I go to ask Li Zhen right now.

Will you go together with me?

Leave it to you.

We go to check the details about the camp.

We can check information later.

Fine.

Separate actions can get higher efficiency.

Be careful.

Hey, you…

You…

Wait!

You are wrong

to treat guests like this.

Honey.

Ding Er.

Long time no see.

Please don’t.

I surrender.

You give up so quickly?

You two

fight against me only.

I can’t defeat you.

Why are you here?

Marry her.

Xia people come here to get a wife?

There is no rule that Xia people is prohibited from getting a wife,

right?

Honey.

Hurry! Follow up!

We just met.

But you tie me up.

Shut up!

Be gentle.

You really hurt me.

I’m afraid that it’s not a simple thing

that he comes here suddenly.

Didn’t I tell you?

I’m here to seek a marriage alliance.

Why don’t you believe me?

Be careful with him.

We once fought with him in the prison camp.

He is scheming.

We were fooled by him.

In the prison camp,

I had no choice but to do it.

This time,

I seek a marriage alliance sincerely.

Seek a marriage alliance?

Stop!

Qin Wuya?

We just check him,

and he comes here to kill us?

You check him?

Let’s talk about it later.

Deal with the current situation first.

He daren’t commit evils in the mansion.

Captain Qin,

do you plan to search for the mansion and confiscate our properties?

Princess,

I daren’t bear this blame.

It’s an emergency.

It’s too late to report.

Please forgive me.

You bring so many soldiers here.

Why?

Princess,

you can’t

hurt this person.

Do you know his identity?

Because I know it,

I have to protect him.

Princess,

even though

he gets any hurts,

I’m afraid that Binzhou may be confronted with fatal disasters.

What do you mean?

We have known each other for so long.

I haven’t introduced myself.

Aren’t you the head of Xia’s secret agents?

My father has taken that position.

Who the hell are you?

I am Miqin Mubei, the chief of Xia’s Right Garrison.

Glad to see you.

What did you say?

The person who took the first place is Miqin Mubei?

I hear it from far away

and want to tell you first.

Do you know him?

No.

I don’t know him.

Minqin Mubei is a young general.

He is a born talent,

fights in the battle field throughout the year

and never loses.

I heard from military officers

that he is…

He is a very terrible person.

Jing,

is he

still in the yard?

Yes.

And Wuwei Army is there.

Will you take a look?

I never thought

that our Song royal family seeks a Xia’s general.

This thing may get troublesome.

No.

No way.

I have to write a memorial to imperial court

and send it to Kaifeng.

My daughter and I are absolutely loyal to Song.

The chief of Xia’s Right Garrison?

So, you are a general.

You flatter me.

Miqin Mubei?

Yes, I am.

Why did he come to Binzhou?

Princess,

Xia’s imperial merchants come to Song.

The road is dangerous.

General Miqin is responsible for the escort.

I take it over when they arrive in Binzhou.

I just got news

that General Miqin came to the mansion of Prince Zhao.

I’m afraid that there would be a trouble,

so, I burst in with soldiers.

You got news in time.

Princess,

put emphasis on the general situation.

You can’t hurt General Miqin.

Sorry to trouble you, Captain Qin.

Princess, you have exceptional beauty.

I have admired you for a long time.

I heard that the mansion of Prince Zhao is seeking a marriage alliance,

so, I took part in the examination

and took the first place.

Sorry,

you are late.

It is finished.

Irrelevant people can shut up.

Captain Qin,

nowadays,

Xia and Song are holding peace talks.

The marriage between the princess and I

can be regarded as adding brilliance

to present splendor, right?

General Miqin,

this thing

has nothing to do with Wuwei Army.

Oh!

That’s right.

After I get back to Xia,

I will write a memorial and ask Song’s emperor to grant our marriage.

Please go back to the hotel with me.

Wait me for more days.

I won’t marry you.

Immediately after the imperial edict is issued,

we will get married.

Please.

We will meet again.

Brother!

Shit!

In the battle of Qichuan village,

it is Miqin Mubei who led Xia’s army.

Why are you in a daze?

Nine thousand solders died in the battlefield.

This is your brother’s knot in his mind.

Aren’t you afraid that your brother kills him?

How do you choose,

Yuan Zhongxin?

Stop your brother

or let him kill me.

It’s up to you.

Brother,

if you kill him,

Xia won’t leave the matter at that.

By the time, Song and Xia may make war again.

Step aside.

Yuan,

he makes you angry deliberately.

You can’t fall into his trap.

Nine thousand solders can’t die for nothing.

Do you want to see that more people die?

If he dies,

there will be more people dying in the battlefield.

Your swordsmanship

is still so excellent.

Brother.

Brother, don’t do that.

Miqin Mubei provoked you on purpose just now.

I never told you

what happened

that year.

General.

General. General.

General.

General.

General.

General.

Xia army comes here again.

Leave it to me.

After the battle, Xia army checked the number of casualties.

In order to protect me,

the scout didn’t make a sound

until he died.

From that moment,

my life doesn’t belong to me anymore.

I live for nine thousand people.

I didn’t kill Ding Er today.

It’s not because that I fear him.

As you said,

I don’t want to see more wars.

I don’t want to see dead people in the battlefield.

I understand.

You don’t understand.

Sometimes,

I even don’t know

the meaning of being alive.

Brother,

how did you get back to Song?

Our rescue arrived

and saved me out of piles of dead people.

In that case,

you should live well

for those dead generals and soldiers.

Don’t worry.

I won’t kill Ding Er for the time being.

[Binzhou Hotel]

Pay for my little brother!

Interesting.

I just arrived in Binzhou.

They come here to kill me.

Liang Zhu attacked Miqin Mubei?

I got news just now.

At the gate of the hotel,

Instructor Liang with a bamboo har rushed forward.

He wanted to revenge his little brother.

What is the result?

Minqin Mubei got injured.

Wuwei Army arrested Instructor Liang.

Is he alright?

Miqin Mubei just got a flesh wound

and won’t die.

Wuwei Army imprisoned Instructor Liang.

It is such a big trouble.

The magistrate freaked out.

I’m afraid that it’s not easy to deal with it.

Higher authority has given an oral instruction.

Punish Instructor Liang with the crime of betrayal

and never shield him.

So serious?

After all, two states are holding peace talks.

His attack

may ruin the peace talks.

What shall we do?

After Yuan Zhongxin comes back,

you ask him to interrogate Li Zhen first.

What about you?

I go to the hotel.

As long as Miqin Mubei forgives Instructor Liang,

he will be fine.

You look for Miqin Mubei?

I hope that I can persuade him.

It’s not about that.

That guy hatches a sinister plot on you.

Wuwei Army is inside and outside.

There is nothing to be afraid of.

It’s not that…

Well,

don’t worry about me.

[Mansion of Prince Zhao]

Princess.

What’s going on with your brother?

He seems combative.

But I stop him finally.

He won’t kill people in the public.

Fine.

Where will you go?

Instructor Liang was arrested.

I go to ask Miqin Mubei for a favor.

If Miqin Mubei forgives Instructor Liang,

he will be exempted from the death penalty.

You go there alone?

Don’t worry.

I will be discreet.

You lose no time to interrogate Li Zhen

and ask him about

why Qin Wuya killed people.

I always think that

Miqin Mubei may have something to do with him.

Or,

I keep you company to go there.

No need.

Your appearance may provoke him.

Rest assured.

I can do it.

I don’t worry about you, of course.

Don’t you chase her?

Don’t worry.

With Wuwei Army in Binzhou,

Zhao Jian will be fine.

It’s not that.

Miqin Mubei wants to marry Zhao.

How can you remain indifferent?

Her marriage has nothing to do with me.

I don’t belong to the mansion of Prince Zhao.

After you marry Zhao,

you do have something to do with it.

Anyway, you took the examination

before.

You were one step closer to success.

I cheated.

It doesn’t count.

Yuan,

all of us can see that

you and Zhao like each other

and have mutual affinity.

She doesn’t take the initiative to confess, because she rejects getting married.

But what about you?

You can’t keep silent all the time.

It’s very simple

to make Miqin Mubei give up his idea.

As long as you propose a marriage to Prince Zhao,

after the marriage is finished,

imperial court even can’t get involved in it.

It doesn’t work.

You don’t know

I can’t marry her.

Why?

If I marry her,

I may get her killed.

What do you mean?

Why do you hesitate?

Xia army’s token.

Yuan!

I will tell you about it sooner or later,

but not now.

What’s wrong with him?

Wang,

you’re back.

We heard that Miqin Mubei appeared,

so, we come back quickly.

What happened?

Here is the thing.

Miqin Mubei is responsible for peace talks.

We can’t catch him.

I know.

Don’t worry.

Miqin Mubei is unable to protect himself.

Even though he really wants to marry Zhao Jian,

Yuan Hao

won’t agree with their marriage.

What do you mean?

Miqin Mubei is Ninglingge’s senior general.

Ninglingge?

Xia’s crown prince?

That’s right.

Yuan Hao and Ninglingge can’t get well all the time.

Yuan Hao wants to remove Ninglingge from the crown prince

and eliminate his underlings these years.

It’s not easy for Miqin Mubei

to live till now.

He almost died.

The failure of political flights

results in that he was imprisoned in the prison camp.

Didn’t he say

that his father caused the result?

His father is Yuan Hao’s trusted follower.

The father and son work for different masters.

Behind his back,

his father has backstabbed him very often.

The father and son intrigue against each other.

Since ancient times,

family members always are at odds in the political fights.

Miqin Mubei’s father is Yuan Hao’s trusted follower.

But Miqin Mubei

is on good terms with Ninglingge.

The relationship of father and son

can’t even stop the conflicts of power.

Each family has its own problems.

You know Xia’s situation well.

I have carefully studied

the situations of Xia and Liao.

I’m thinking that

whether the appearance of Miqin Mubei

has something to do

with assassination.

If it is true,

it will be troublesome.

What’s going on with your investigation in the camp?

Have you gotten stuck in danger?

I’m afraid that we may alert them,

so, we didn’t investigate in depth.

We gain little.

It doesn’t matter.

After a long day,

you may feel tired.

I cooked mung bean soup.

I have left it for you.

Jing,

originally, I planned to leave after taking my written marriage proposal.

I never thought that the thing becomes more and more complicated.

Nowadays,

we have to solve the puzzle.

Sorry.

Our marriage

has to be delayed.

It doesn’t matter.

Secret Repository is set up for keeping peace.

We are family members who go through thick and thin together.

Of course, we share hardships together.

So,

I feel relieved.

A man in love is so horrible.

You are more horrible than him when you saw a woman in the past.

Mubei.

Prince.

Don’t move.

Prince.

I just heard it.

What’s wrong with you?

Are you badly injured?

Thanks for your concern.

There is nothing to worry about.

Fine.

Mubei.

Don’t call me that.

I’m older than you.

Afterwards,

call me uncle.

I daren’t.

Alright.

I neither have military merits,

nor real power.

How could I be mentioned in the same breath

with the general of Right Garrison, the crown prince’s right hand?

Uncle,

you misunderstand me.

I’m joking.

You are humiliated like that.

As your uncle,

I must report it to imperial court.

At the worst, I request His Majesty to wipe out Binzhou.

If so, I will become a sinner.

Song and Xia keeps on good terms.

That’s the common aspiration of people.

It’s not worthwhile to destroy the harmony because of this thing.

You are generous.

I’m narrow-minded.

Here.

Sorry.

You son of bitch!

You son of bitch!

You didn’t cool it!

Prince…

You son of bitch!

Prince…

It’s fine.

Don’t worry.

I teach this son of bitch for you.

Go away!

Go away!

You are good at enduring it.

Honey, you are here.

Wait for me

to change my clothes.

He did it on purpose.

Of course, I know.

He is Prince Mozang

He is in power right now.

I can’t compare with him.

So,

I have to endure.

It’s not your characters.

What characters do I have?

You know it clearly?

What can make you release Instructor Liang?

The final phase of sand table.

Do you remember it?

What will you do?

No worries.

I won’t torture you.

Li Zhen, right?

Lin family’s guard.

Yes.

Lin Mosheng died.

Do you know?

I know.

Made false family register and pass

and wanted to escape from Binzhou.

Why did you escape?

Childe Lin was killed.

I…

I was scared.

Scared.

Why didn’t you notify the government?

It’s more troublesome.

It’s troublesome.

Why daren’t you go back to Lin family?

Lin Mosheng was killed,

but you escaped.

Maybe you saw the murderer, right?

Why didn’t you tell Lin family

and revenge Lin Mosheng?

I didn’t see the murderer.

I know nothing.

You saw nothing.

Why daren’t you notify the government?

Why did you escape?

I…

You concealed your identity,

and daren’t notify the government,

and even daren’t go back to Lin family.

All guards were killed,

except you.

Can I conclude that

Lin Mosheng’s death

has a direct relation with you?

No,

absolutely not.

You…

You slander me!

Really?

I tell you

that you can’t set up an illegal court

and overuse punishments.

You violate Song’s law.

Song’s law?

God!

It seems that I misunderstand you.

I apologize to you.

Or,

I send you out right now.

What do you think?

What tricks are you playing?

Come on.

I send you out.

I have heard that

you deploy troops with great skills.

Although it is just a sand table,

it’s my honor to come to grips with you.

We just play a game.

Are you clear with the rule?

Two troops are at war.

Our side is besieged.

As long as I can break through the tight encirclement

and find my way out,

I win.

Otherwise, I lose.

That’s right.

What’s the season?

Winter.

We can start.

Please.

In the sand table,

your troops

are basically in the high road.

Exactly right.

There is a shortcut in the gorge.

But,

this place is dangerous.

A few of people in both cliffs

can make our troops in the gorge become a mess.

You’re right.

What about taking the mountain road?

The forest is deep and the road is rugged.

It’s hard to trace in the mountain.

Good choice.

But you said it’s winter.

What’s wrong with it?

To the north of Binzhou,

it is dry in winter.

It’s easy to catch fire.

You think that I may use fire attack.

It can’t get fire.

Yes,

it can.

There is a draught in the forest.

Northwest wind prevails in winter.

If we march in the mountain,

we basically move windward.

By the time when the fire is raging,

we can only die.

Therefore,

I take the waterway.

In winter,

horses can run through the ice lake.

Come on.

Hurry up!

We are outside.

You…

You untie me.

Don’t worry.

Let’s walk on the street.

Wait!

People walk the dog on the street.

You are insulting me.

How is it possible?

I apologize to you sincerely.

I fear that you become embarrassed and run away.

So, I tie you up.

Let’s go.

What apology?

Why do I feel embarrassed?

What means do you have?

Just use them.

If I frown,

I’m not a great man.

Here.

Great man.

This way, please.

Watch you step.

Let’s go.

You lose.

How is it possible?

I have sent people

to spread salt in the waterway.

Salt can speed up the rate of ice melting.

As long as I calculate time,

when your troops come to the heart of the lake,

you will find

that the ice is melted.

No way back.

I only need to guard your route of retreat.

We can wipe you out

without the slightest effort.

So, you deliberately made me

find the flaw in the forest,

so as to lead me into the waterway.

You chose it on your own.

What’s wrong?

You admit defeat?
