[Unique Lady 2]

[Episode 2]

Brother, Jing can cure this disease.

Me?

Jing is the apprentice of the medical genius.

I definitely have ways to cure this disease.

But when the disease is cured,

I hope you can grant me and Jing a request.

I can't let it be.

Brother, I can cure this disease as well.

Damn Zhong Wu Mei.

He promised His Majesty in a rush.

Couldn't he discuss with me before making the decision?

He always acts like this. Savage.

Miss. Don't be upset with him.

He took the job

because he wanted to recover your status.

I know he did it for me.

But I only dabble with medicines.

I can't even cure my own gastroenteritis.

How should I cure others?

This is bad.

The relationship of the two lands

is depended on...

a damsel in distress like me.

Not only do I have to fight the mistress, but I also have to cure the plague.

How could I spare the strength?

I feel like being attacked from front and back.

I'm so sad that I almost lose my soul.

Jing, are you asleep?

Don't come in.

Didn't you advise His Majesty

that I should cure the whole Sheng Jing?

What are you visiting me for?

I'm visiting the chicken, no time for you.

Are you mad at me?

I don't have the time to.

I don't even have enough time to study the plague.

Xi Que, quick.

Help me change the clothes. I'm going to sleep.

Jing, I took the job

for you today

because I wanted to take this chance to

recover your status.

I didn't forget about your feelings.

Jing, can you open the door?

Then,

didn't the princess send message

saying that she's unwell and wants you to visit her?

Why are you here?

Goodbye.

Okay. Then good night.

Why is he silent?

Did he really leave?

Xi Que.

Go check.

Miss, he's really gone.

This savage. How could he leave like that?

This is your compensation.

Savage.

Xi Que.

Your elbows are out!

Miss.

Elbows out?

It means

you don't help me

but you help that bastard.

He's bad.

He's really bad.

Miss.

Should we send the chicken

to the kitchen for soup?

No.

Leave it.

Boss, I want some gelsemium elegan.

What for?

Curing disease.

It's a precious herb.

Out of stock.

I didn't hear any doctor says

that gelsemium elegan can cure disease.

If I knew it, I would stock it up and earn money.

Out of stock here.

This is the biggest pharmacy in Sheng Jing.

How come you don't have it?

It's true.

Leave.

Go.

Go, go.

Boss. How come you don't have it?

Just sell it to me.

Leave now.

Careful.

[Jiang Xuan Yu- Son of the richest man in Sheng Jing, constellation Sagittarius]

Jiang Xuan Yu.

Haven't seen you in a while.

Haven't seen you in a while.

What happened?

I wanted to buy some gelsemium elegan.

But they said

they're out of stock and wouldn't sell it to me.

Seriously.

Curing the disease is depended on this.

Boss, do you have gelsemium elegan or not?

I told you no.

Can't you understand?

You really don't have it?

Mr. Jiang.

Our esteemed customer.

Well.

Are you here to buy gelsemium elegan as well?

Should have told me earlier.

I'll even

plant it myself for you.

Explain it before you take it.

To be honest,

it's not that I don't want to sell it to you.

A while ago,

someone pays a high price to buy it all.

Where were you these days?

Don't you know about the disease?

After my father passed away,

Meng's father is unwell, too.

Meng stays in Sheng Jing to handle the store that was just opened.

So I could only inspect their salt business

in the south

on behalf of his father.

No wonder.

Jing,

I happen to bring

some fine fabrics other places.

I need a beauty to be the model.

Are you interested?

Of course, it's just...

What?

I'm in the middle of some troubles.

That damn Zhong Wu Mei

showed off in front of His Majesty

by saying that I can cure the plague throughout Sheng Jing.

I'm so bothered by this.

You'll work a way out.

I believe you.

How is Zhong recently?

He's fine.

He won a battle.

Now Wen Ru Yu is clinging onto him.

That gives me an opportunity to be a genius doctor.

Speaking of this,

before I went away,

did you talk Zhong Wu Mei

into finding me back?

Zhong almost lost his wife.

As his good friend,

it was my responsibility.

Alright.

Though I didn't

want him to find me then,

but for your sincerity

for us,

I still need to thank you.

My friend.

Good friend.

Jing,

Why isn't Zhong coming with you?

He doesn't know how to treat a lady,

does he?

No.

Since I promised to stay with him,

he promised me

to put the wellness of the people on the first place.

So our relationship

should be put aside first.

Besides,

Wen Ru Yu has married him.

His Majesty has also put pressure on him.

He's in a dilemma.

That's hard.

He's fortunate

to have a wife like you.

Such a pity.

That we're just friends.

What?

Nothing.

Jing.

This is dessert I brought from Nan Yan.

Try some.

See if you like it.

Which is the best?

Tasty.

Why is the gelsemium elegan so rare?

Where should I go find it?

Got it.

Where?

Jing.

In this world,

what can't I buy

with money?

I knew it.

It's just...

Just what?

Mr. Jiang.

I finally meet you.

Since you engaged with Ms. Tang,

I never saw you come here again.

But I see you

are handsome

as always.

Ms. Xiao Lan, how are you?

Don't mention it.

Since Sister Yi Yi went away,

Wen Xiang Brothel's business plummeted.

It's getting worse everyday.

Though I

have my heavenly appearance,

but in my heart,

Yi Yi is

the most beautiful soul ever.

Now Xiao Hong has bought herself out,

Xiao Lv has married,

and the procuress has fallen ill.

Xiao Huang took her to the doctor.

Only I

stay and handle the business of Wen Xiang Brothel.

I can barely handle both responsibilities.

So tiring.

But when I see you,

I feel refreshed.

That's great.

Xiao Lan,

I have something to ask from you.

Ask from me?

It always has been me who ask from you.

This is unexpected.

This is not about money.

I don't need the money.

Help me find one kind of herb.

It's called gelsemium elegan.

No problem.

So many guests in Wen Xiang Brothel,

there must be someone who knows about the herb.

Leave it to me.

Wait for my news.

I'll take it to you.

Thank you.

But,

I want something else from you.

What?

Jiang.

Meng.

Jiang.

What's wrong?

Though I can't

marry you for the respect

of your passing father,

you have

promised me not to go to Wen Xiang Brothel.

How come you go to that place

after you came back from Nan Yan?

Well...

Meng.

It's not like what you think.

I really do have something to ask from them.

Why

do you need to ask from them?

It's not like what you think it is.

I heard that

when you're back,

you met Miss Lin.

Is it for her?

There's a plague going on in Sheng Jing.

I promised Jing to help her find a herb.

After you finish her business,

can you take me to father?

Is father...

Your Majesty.

Miss Lin's medicine is distributed.

The patients' condition is better

soon after they took the medicine.

The situation is better from place to place.

This drama

is good.

Miss, though I can't understand,

I think the thing

in the bottle

is much better than Wen Ru Yu's.

Do you know

that they had a ritual in the garden.

The whole place was in foul atmosphere.

It's herb juice.

It's for the disease.

Fortunately I'm smart enough

to find the medical genius's book

and make a batch of equipment

to cook the medicine in time.

Miss.

Can we go back to the mansion

once the plague is contained?

Of course.

Before then,

we have to deal with another thing.

I'll see how long you can pretend it.

Jing's medicine is miraculously good.

It solved Sheng Jing's disaster.

With this medicine,

the disease will be gone soon.

But

why is the envoy's condition not improved yet?

Thanks to the doctor's help,

I feel refreshed.

How long do you plan to pretend

in front of His Majesty?

What do you mean?

What do you mean?

What?

Still not going to confess?

Your Majesty.

While making the medicine,

I found the plague originated from chicken from the Little Britain.

I happened to know from the peddlers

that these chicken

are sent by the envoys

to the people in advance.

Don't tell others.

I bought these chicken

with a high price

from that chubby foreign envoy.

Little Britain's chicken

is without a doubt the best.

Brother,

other than the medicine,

Jing has another news she wishes to inform you.

I've already sent people to investigate.

It is the chubby envoy's doing.

He lurked in Little Britain for years

just to

stir things up between Sheng Jing and Little Britain.

He's actually from

Qi Yu.

What?

This...

Please listen to me.

I'm wronged.

I am not.

It's not me.

You're from Qi Yu.

And you took the sick chicken here

and you want to blame us for your pretended illness?

Please listen to me.

They wrongfully accused me.

Your Majesty.

This is the testimony I got from the peddler.

Other than the peddler,

many people saw him that day.

You can put on your costume,

but the huge spot on your face

is obvious.

This document also recorded your smuggling channels.

What else do you have to say?

At this stage,

I have nothing to hide.

I never am a person from Little Britain.

Sheng Jing harms Qi Yu all the time.

If you want to kill me, just do it.

Using the sick chicken to spread disease

and harm the people of Sheng Jing.

Guards.

Here.

Take him down hand interrogate him.

Yes.

You can lock me up

but you can't lock my heart.

Long live Qi Yu.

Since the truth is clear,

do you

still think we didn't treat you well?

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

We really don't know he's from Qi Yu.

Please forgive us.

We share a friendship for generations.

We dare not offend you.

You didn't say this before.

Sheng Jing is not to be threatened with.

Brother, how about...

Guards.

Wait.

Your Majesty.

Since you have punished the criminal,

why don't you leave them alone?

You promised me

if I can cure this disease,

you would grant me a request.

Then my request is

to leave the innocent alone.

Jing, you...

For Jing's contribution to Sheng Jing,

I'll spare you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Tell your king.

We share the same fate.

Yes.

Thank you, doctor.

Brother.

Jing doesn't know about the mutiny,

and her medicine has saved

the people of our country,

and she found the mole.

Please forgive her

and recover

her status.

I don't think so.

Yeah.

His father is a traitor.

Even if we spare her sins,

she's not qualified as a consort.

That's right.

How can she be a consort?

Not so fast.

This is a big sin.

Jing did make great deed.

Sheng Jing owes her.

Then I'll tell the nation

that I confer her as a princess.

Brother.

Alright.

I've made up my mind.

Seems like brother is not recovering

her status.

I'm sorry, Jing.

I should have taken you away at the victory.

I shouldn't have let you stay.

Brother,

please don't blame me for this.

Let's go.

But...

How can it be?

This is so indecent.

His Majesty can't punish him.

Yeah.

He can't do anything to him.

Where is this?

Why am I here?

Zhong Wu Mei brought you here.

System!

It has updated.

Elopement.

Congratulations on turning the situation around.

The next chapter will automatically follow.

You're at Nan Yan now.

Nan Yan.

You're awake.

How long have I been sleeping?

Almost a day.

You're always

like this.

Took me here without asking me.

It's beautiful here in Nan Yan.

I want to take you to relieve yourself.

And you need...

You're always like this.

Do whatever you like.

Since you're here with me,

you can't go back now.

I've told the boss of the inn,

we're couple.

And

there's only two rooms in the inn.

So you'll have to

stay in the same room with me.

I won't.

Then you'll have to stray on the street.

No way.

I'll take the floor and you'll take the bed.

Okay.

I mean

you take the floor and I take the bed.

Promise.

You.

I heard

they have the best fabric shop here.

Not interested.

Zhang Ji said

there are delicious baked wheat cake selling on the street.

Not hungry.

Then I'll go enjoy myself.

Someone's losing the opportunity.

Princess.

Brother.

Brother.

Zhong Wu Mei dumped me in front of everyone

that day.

I think they're now far away from Sheng Jing now.

Brother.

Please help me.

I

thought he left the palace because he was angry.

Who would have thought...

I didn't consider thoroughly.

Su Wen.

Here.

Tell the guards to stick up a warrant.

Take Zhong Wu Mei back.

Yes.

Wait.

Brother.

Zhong Wu Mei is my husband now.

If you apprehend him publicly,

you would be telling the world

that he dumped me.

If I didn't,

how should I tell Lord Bei Yu ?

My father shouldn't have known about this by now.

I think

it would be better to visit him clandestinely.

You're right.

I'll apprehend him clandestinely.

I'm only afraid

that Lin Luo Jing would be in the way.

Think about this,

Sheng Jing is not done with Qi Yu yet.

She's a traitor's daughter,

and she took Lord Yuan Zheng away with her.

This is a treason.

Brother, when you bring them back,

punish that bitch harshly.

Or else,

Sheng Yuan would be in other's hand.

You mean

that I'm an incompetent emperor,

so Wu Mei has ignored his duty to the country.

I don't mean that.

It's just

Qi Yu has been harassing Sheng Jing.

If it wasn't for my father's help,

Sheng Jing would be in danger.

If Zhong didn't want me anymore,

I would have to go back to Bei Yu.

Is this a threat?

I dare not.

Do you think if Sheng Jing was in danger,

Bei Yu could save itself?

Let me tell you,

when Qi Yu's army comes to the frontier,

Bei Yu will be the first to sacrifice.

Brother, please don't scare me.

I only fear that Zhong wouldn't be back.

Then the whole world would laugh at me.

Baked cake. Freshly cooked.

Boss, I'll take two.

You're right on time.

Two for you.

Hold it well.

It's delicious.

Here.

You're pretty, miss.

Such a fortune.

Dear. Do you come for the reputation as well?

Dear. You're still mad at me?

I'm not your dear.

We go separate ways.

Don't get in my way.

Xi Que, what should we do?

They...

Don't worry. It'll be fine.

Xi Que.

Coming.

It's fine.

Wait.

What happened, master?

You're not satisfied with me?

Not that.

I have my duty.

This is not good.

Or

you're the messenger from Sheng Jing?

Who?

A messenger.

From who?

I don't know.

But I was told to hand this to you in person.

Annoying.

Sheng Jing is not dependable.

Don't blame me for this.

He seems vigilant.

But he didn't do anything to me

and he asked if I'm the messenger from Sheng Jing.

Messenger from Sheng Jing?

This is not so simple.

What next?

Stick to our original plan. Travel by water.

Send the allowance and the army.

Yes.

Shan,

though His Majesty has promised me

that he would find Zhong as soon as possible,

I'm still vexed.

Indeed.

Though His Highness made a huge mistake,

he's His Majesty's brother.

His Majesty can't hurt him.

Why don't we tell this to Lord Bei Yu directly?

No.

Father would be furious.

Don't tell him.

Or else it would be bad.

Then

what should we do?

Let me think.

Greetings, Lord Jin Yuan.

That pigeon doesn't seem like to be from Sheng Jing.

I came to Sheng Jing for long, and I'm missed at home.

So I wrote to express my nostalgia.

Is that so?

Your Highness, I have to serve the princess.

I bid you farewell.

Princess is noble.

She's Lord Bei Yu's precious girl.

You can serve her

and be here with her.

Seems like Lord Bei Yu values you heavily.

What do you mean?

I have one favor to ask.

Your promised me

half a month ago, time to redeem it.

I can't always

hide in this chamber.

You're afraid that they

can't catch the most wanted person of the court?

The court is getting anxious.

There are a lot of guards on the street because of the plague.

Did you do this?

I don't have that power.

It's Zhong's misfortune

that helped me.

Now.

except for your old unit and a hundred thousand people from Qi Yu,

we need to unite an important power.

And I need you to show up.

Who?

Lord Bei Yu.

Zhong Shi Li is doomed.

But what if

this is your trap?

Then why did I bother getting you out?

That's jail for the death sentence.

If I went into an accident,

you would go with me.

Minister,

we all want the head of Zhong Shi Li.

Your old unit swear their loyalty,

and await your return

and victory.

Minister.
