Episode 5

Xiao Xing

The situation just now is not exactly what you think

I was actually...

These blood kinda looks real

Can it be washed off? Just normal soap would do

How are you Director

You're here

It's fake blood

You're afraid of fake blood too?

Anyway you'll have to try it sooner or later

You're really that terrified?

why don't you try it now?

Don't touch me

What's wrong with him?

Maybe he's afraid of blood

Inform Dunuo ( Guy) Afraid of blood

Dunuo is downstairs, help her take a pair of shoe

First floor Hall Thanks

Shu Zhan , Ji Xiao Xing

Wait for me

Shu Zhan

Wait for me

Shu Zhan

What's wrong with you?

May I ask?

What kind of medicine are those?

Fine

I won't intrude

You look like you're fine now

Do we book the make up first or go back to the office?

Since you wont speak

I'll take my leave

They're Psychiatric drugs

I take Psychiatric drugs

When I was small

I was in an accident

After some time

I had a serious depression

I couldn't socialise with anyone

or meet

So I went to get treatment overseas for some years

And also started to go out

But there was still no solution

to have physical connections with people

As well as shaking hands

or as just now

any touch from a single distance

will stimulate my condition

Shu Zhan

Let me finish talking first

while I have the courage

I've seen numerous Psychiatric doctors

From overseas and in the country

Done different types of check ups

From head to toe

Physical and Mental (Check ups)

But there wasn't any who could treat me

That's why I dont have friends

can't attend events

Can't go to school

evrerything that is simple to a normal person is out of my capability

But I apparently have a

job that requires me to face the public

I'm the so called celebrity

I used to carry a pair of gloves

But the media soon

made various types of assumptions

That's why I

don't wear it that often in public

My father

My father created a space that was almost empty

so I can sing on stage

Because it's the only thing I like

only thing I'm capable of doing

until that day

I met you in the drama crew

you pulled my hand

I suprisingly accepted it

my condition didn't stimulate

I actually let you pull my hand

this kind of feeling

was warm

I could not believe

or leave

even if the entire crew left

even if the place I was at was a mortuary

Ji Xiao Xing

This is how much you mean to me

I actually

thought of coming clean with you

But I couldn't

Because I was scared you would think of me as a mentally affected pervert

But how could I hide it from you

You're always by my side

constantly witnessing my symptoms

you would get pissed at my behaviour

causing misunderstanding between people

you would become distant from me

Xiao Xing

the decision is up to you

if you

don't want to be my assistant anymore

I won't blame you

I've already cancelled it for Shu Zhan

But what kind of sickness does he have?

Is it serious?

Maybe it's just a cough, he's taken a prescription

Help me clear it out with the director

Re-arrange the time

Sure

Du nuo

It's about... Ji Xiao Xing

No..

Is Shu Zhan coming today?

He's changed the date

Why aren't you out of the costume yet?

Shu Zhan's not coming so I'll change

I thought he was trying to get closer to Duo Nian

I'm gonna be late

Du Nian sit down and eat

Stop dragging

I have to be quick

Or else there'll be traffic

Whta's your plan for today?

Practise

Chairman Zhou has prepared a dancing couch

But after your training starts

We too wll hire a professional coach for you

but you preparing early is also a good thing

How aout Xiao Xing?

Left

Oh right!

Why don't you let her arrange for you

You and Shu Zhan have a lot of competitors, if the pair is not good

his fans might choke you to death

ask for help

I'm taking my leave first

I'm off

Eat an egg first!

No thanks!

Of course she wouldnt come anymore...

I'm sorry!

Sorry,

Sorry I'm late

This...

is your solution?

Yup!

After doing some intense research

the ones who will be playing aprts with you the most would be Su-jei and DuNian

But Xiao Ye said

she's already found a script

changed a lot

of scenes where you'll have to interact with Miss Xun

So... this level is better

Your second opponent...

Is Du Nian

From today onwards, I will make sure you'll be able to interact with Dian.

Soon, when you see her face, you'll think of it as your own!

But how do you exactly interact with this...

I've already planned this for an entire night

Normally

I could accompany you

But I can't be on screen in the real thing

so we need a method like thhis

Oh come on...Just try it! Whats there to be fraid of?

Lets start with the photo!

okay?

Good.

Come on, give me your hand.

Come on quick

Hold it

Ok ...the other hand

ok

now

eyes on each other

Gentle...

You must be gentle...

No, not like that! Not that feeling at all!

Your eyes...

You must have love in your eyes...

Love?...

Gentle

In your eyes, there is only her..

Must shine brightly...create hearts...

Mame, how exactly can a person's eyes create hearts?

can you make human effects?

FIne, I'll show you

watch carefully.

Will you be serious!

Hello

I'm Du Nian, I'm looking for Ji Xiao Xing

Why dont you give her a call? Okay.

Du Nian

The entrance?

Oh.

Shu Zhan, Du Nian is at the entrance.

She probably has something she needs to discuss with me, can I go see her?

Then...go...

I'll be right back!

I'm only leaving for a moment, so don't stop practicing.

Hopefully when I come back, there will be a new you.

new you, okay?

Good luck!

Du Nian why didn't you tell me you were gonna come?

I was just passing by so I thought I would visit you.

Why don't we have lunch together?

Then attend martial arts training together later in the afternoon

Umm...I'm afraid I can't..

Shu Zhan probably won't agree.

Oh...well thats fine..

It's nothing

Xiao Xing, this entertainment company is so uniquely designed It definitely lives up to its name

Yeah, I like the design too

But today the boss is in, so I can't show you around

No worries, you can show me around next time

Where do you usually work?

In Shu Zhan's office?

Yeah, that's where we usually spend our time. It's right upstairs.

Xiao Shin, I want some coffee, could you get me some?

I'll leave after I finish.

Alright, I'll get you some! Just wait for me, I'll be right back.

Thanks!

You are the most beautiful...

girl I've ever met...

It's...It's not...

...what it seems...

Du Nian! Why are you leaving? You're not going to have your coffee?

No.. I don't want it anymore. I have stuff to do so I'm leaving first.

Er, you're...you're back... I...

I have something I want to discuss with you.

What is it?

Can we...

not use this?

No Way.

But just look at this!

This arm is cold and hard! How can there be any sense of emotion?

This arm is certaintly lacking...

Right

It certaintly does not help create a mood..

Exactly!

Alright, leave it to me. I have a new Idea!

Director, look at my accessories! Are they pretty?

Most of them are selected by my stylist

I think it's a little too much

We must check whether or not this jewellery matches with the historical setting.

Director, don't you think the jewellery the stylist gave me are quiet plain?

The plain the better. It's more natural. Am I not right, director?

But I walk the high life.

This jewellery doesen't match my style.

Shin Tian Ho... This is a drama... not some amateur act.

All decisions must match the design.

Do you always have to argue with me?

Actually I think...

How is this arguing? It's called understanding and agreeing with the decisions of the set.

It's called being professional. Moreover, based on my professional experience-

Stop mentioning your professional experience.

I think it is more respectable to be able to perform your most beautiful side. Most professional.

This is a drama, and not your personal closet.

All designs must match the set..

Yes match -

Matching is fine, but it has to be beautiful right?

Just look at what I'm wearing

I look like a refugee

It's not. It's very beautiful, Director.

Mr. Su

Using the term "full of youthful spirit"

Isn't really suitable for your age

Ms Shen

If the information is correct

We should be the same age

Wow, I didn't know you'd secretly look up my profile

Not secretly

Just saw some mainstream but outdated details

Of course my news are mainstream

Unlike some people,

Extremely confidential

Maybe can't even find his details

Oh, no

Not even sure if anyone wants to find out

Director, Since my photoshoot is over, I'll be leaving first.

Ms. Shen...

Director, I have a class later on. I'll be leaving.

That is enough you guys.

This whole conversation, did you even acknowledge the director? Did you ever ask for his opinion?

I know you guys are all the main cast. I know you guys are all professional.

But the whole production is dependant on the director. The director!

Am I right director?

Sure.

But...

Why are you saying this to me only?

Was there a point?

Er, well...I was just helping you let off some steam, wasnt I...

Yen-ling

How was the makeup

It was fine

It really suits me

That's great

I have something to discuss with the director

Yen-ling

I have something to tell you in private

Ms. Xun, I'll wait for you in the car

What's the matter?

It's nothing serious

I just want to let you know that Xiao-Zhan

He is definitely very talented

And he will be a successful actor in the future

But he is still new to the big screen, right?

Should't you be mentally prepared?

Mentally prepared? You mean...

Male lead?

He's taking the role of the male lead!

Tell me, how is he going to accomplish that?

Don't worry

No one wants to see this movie fail

All we need is a little time

Save the company as quickly as possible

Then we will have enough to return the deposit for his role

It's nothing much really

There are a lot of risks in making a movie

Just be careful

I've got to leave

This tastes amazing!

I've been too busy lately

I even forgot how food tastes

Me too

I've been practicing dances everyday

Practicing until I'm becoming dumb

After your training

it will definitely be easier

Hurry and eat more

I've been distressed every day recently

Distressed

What are you distressed about?

You know, I don't think that changing the script is such a bad thing

Maybe it'll become really interesting to watch
