- Thanks again for the flowers. - Okay.

Now go.

Ho Young!

Mum.

Where is Dad going?

Let's go inside.

Unbelievable.

Are you kidding me? I came here for nothing.

Sir,

did you really sign a dual contract with Global Band?

I did not.

Are you the real owner of SD Corporation?

Nonsense.

I will prove my innocence so don't you worry.

Yes, Sir.

Conniving jerks.

How dare you never speak a word to me while being investigate.

The best tactic is always to flee,

so that's what I'll do.

Sang Ho disappeared after stepping off the stage.

He must've known about the arrest warrant.

It seems like he's hiding for now and looking for a solution.

Whoever Sang Ho contacts...

persuade him to turn himself in.

- Let everyone know that. - Sure,

but you know he won't listen.

My gosh.

Unbelievable.

Did he honestly think that he'd get away with all of this?

Was Dad even inaugurated?

No.

What? Why not?

He made a mistake in terms of business here and...

is wanted for questioning by the prosecution.

Was he on his way to be questioned then?

No, I think he wasn't ready for that.

Then...

was he running away?

He'll turn himself in when he's ready.

What a coward.

He's nothing but a coward.

I'm sure he was flustered by the sudden arrest warrant.

What if he never comes back to be questioned?

He's a coward and a wimp.

Stop the car over there.

It's best that I drive from there.

It's as they say. The good comes with the bad.

Tell the future board members not to be wavered by this.

After some planning,

I'll prove my innocence to the prosecution.

Yes, Sir.

Meanwhile,

I'd like a burner phone just to be safe.

I'll get a new car...

and ditch this one after a short while.

Yes, Sir.

Where should I go first?

I should go to Da Hee's place.

I need to get the money.

I'll get going, Mum.

- Ho Young, - Yes.

If your father calls you by any chance...

tell him to turn himself in for questioning.

Was fleeing the only option for him?

He probably needed some time to think.

Let's put it that way.

I'll see you at home.

President Park has already applied for an injunction to...

suspend Sang Ho of his duties.

Good for him for having a foresight.

A contingency meeting has been scheduled this afternoon too.

What on earth has this company come to?

I can't believe he'd make a mockery out of himself like this.

How more foolish can he be?

Is there any chance of redemption for him?

You saw him.

He fled the auditorium as if his life depended on it.

Honestly, I was surprised by his agility.

His slush fund has been revealed,

so him selling our trade secrets to Mama's...

is nothing compared to that.

He knows his crimes better than anyone,

so he won't easily turn himself in.

Is Ms Shin in her office?

No, she wasn't even present at the ceremony.

Shin Da Hee. Da Hee!

Bob, listen to me carefully.

Help me out and I'll give you half the money I have.

What if the money's confiscated?

It's tucked away safely under a different name.

Help me out and half of it is yours.

What do you need me to do?

We first need to ditch Sang Ho.

If he calls, don't tell him that we've been in contact.

Sure.

I'll leave the country just like you wanted me to.

I wish you the best of luck today.

That deceiving cow.

She already knew.

The person you have reached is unavailable.

Please leave a message after the beep.

Without a single warning,

she took all the money we had and ran away.

Where do I go to find her?

I'll get going now.

Will you be all right?

Honestly, you and I did nothing wrong.

Sang Ho was the mastermind and we just ran errands.

Just remember...

not to tell Sang Ho that...

we've been in touch this whole time.

The same goes for the prosecution as well.

All right.

Wait for my call.

Sure thing.

This is why you wanted me to join the military quickly...

and volunteered to live with Ah Young abroad while she studies.

I'm sorry, Ho Young.

But when the prosecution catches your dad,

he'll be questioned...

and probably be sent to prison.

Tell me everything...

so that I can brace myself for the worst.

For a long time,

he's been stashing away money on the side.

It was him, not Grandpa.

The investigation into your grandfather...

lead to this revelation.

He's healthy enough to withstand 10 arrests.

- Dad. - Dad!

- Min Soo. - Eun Hee.

I can't stay long for the meeting.

I have to leave as soon as I greet them.

You said you'd be back once the inauguration takes place.

Did something happen?

Sang Ho fled from the authorities.

What?

I need to attend the contingency meeting this afternoon.

I'll probably be stuck at Papa Group some more.

Why did he run away?

It's a long story,

but it's already all over the news.

I told our clients that you'd be back in charge.

I'm sorry but I can't.

You need to take charge once again.

I will.

Ho Young came by.

My gosh. Why today of all days?

Sang Ho wanted to receive flowers from Ho Young,

but he fled to save his life...

while Ho Young watched in confusion.

Gosh.

The investigation into him has just begun...

and it's not like we can block it all out.

It'll be painful to watch them feeling devastated.

Why don't you tell them to go away on vacation?

They wouldn't go.

Unbelievable.

In the end, he makes his children witness...

their father being hunted by the prosecution.

Why on earth did he have to run?

Is he that stupid?

I'm too embarrassed to see my children.

It's not your fault.

I feel like it is.

If I had been more thoughtful,

my family nor the company would've had to suffer.

I'm the one who let him become this monster.

Don't ever say that again.

You're no longer tied to him any more.

I'm just worried about the kids.

I hear that...

Da Hee managed the money he stashed.

I think that she's on the run too.

(Shin Da Hee)

The person you have reached is unavailable.

(Kim Sang Ho)

Did you meet Dad?

I did.

Why do you look so helpless?

I think our dad...

is now a fugitive, Ah Young.

What?

This is his office.

- Pack up everything. - Yes, Sir.

I didn't expect much from him,

but never expected this lowness.

I'm ashamed to be his son.

This is a different level of betrayal than their divorce.

You know,

I believed that he was a decent man.

Now I don't know what to believe any more.

Come on in.

Ms Shin left this behind.

Where did you find it?

I don't know if she forgot about it,

but I found it in her desk drawer.

Personally, I think she left it on purpose.

What's on it?

It's quite alarming. You should hear for yourself.

Sure.

All right. Let's head out for some lunch.

How about stir-fried octopus on rice?

I'd like bibimbap with chives.

I've been craving cheonggukjang.

Gosh, we'll have to head to a buffet.

Lee, aren't you coming?

I'm eating lunch with a friend.

It's Hee Ae. She's the one I told you about.

- The gold digger? - How's she coming along?

I'll ask today.

Do you know the best way to cripple a wedding hall?

If all the guests got food poisoning,

its reputation will take a nose-dive.

Conniving pigs.

Are you buying today?

I'm having two bowls of bibimbap today.

- Really? - I'm so hungry.

Hi, Hee Ae.

Hello.

This is my friend, Hee Ae.

- Hi. - Nice to meet you.

- You're very tall. - We heard a lot about you.

- We should go. - Sure.

Viper and a gold digger are a perfect match.

What does he mean by that?

He's talking about the cousin...

of the CEO you went out with.

Cousin?

That little witch?

Yes, we call her a viper around here.

- How do you know that? - Don't even mention it.

You wouldn't believe what happened to me.

What happened? Tell me.

- Fetch me a glass of water. - What?

Kim Sang Ho fled, Sir.

He heard about the arrest while on stage...

and fled through the back.

Where's Shin Da Hee?

She skipped work today...

and went into hiding before Mr Kim.

Put her on the wanted list and track her whereabouts.

She'll try to leave the country.

We'll question major brokers and...

have her arrested soon.

They both smuggled black money abroad.

- I want them arrested. - Yes, Sir.

They schemed to deliberately cause food poisoning?

That's right. I don't know why,

but Da Hee recorded their conversation.

She left the recording in her desk for anyone to find.

She must have done it on purpose.

I think so too.

I thought they were partners for life,

but this is what it came down to.

I wouldn't have let it happen easily,

but we really dodged a bullet.

You're right.

Anyway, we should go. The meeting is about to start.

Sure.

(CEO Kim Sang Ho, On The Run)

(The Prosecutor's Office launches an investigation.)

Kim Sang Ho.

Ugly till the end.

I can't believe he hurt his entire family like this.

How does he sleep at night?

Both the customer and I were flustered.

So what happens now?

- I don't know. - It would've been a disaster.

It's nice seeing each other at lunch like this.

I heard about...

the ordeal at your company.

News travels fast.

I saw it on the Internet.

What's going on?

He committed too many crimes to even name them all.

- Mum. - Eun Hee.

What brings you by?

I was in the vicinity.

How did it go with the doctor?

All the tests showed that I'm fine.

- Are you sure? - Of course.

- What's that in your hand? - Beef feet.

Beef feet?

Make a broth out of it and enjoy it with Hae In.

Hot broths are the best in winter.

That sounds great. So how are things?

Let's go inside and talk.

Come on in.

I can't stay for long though.

I have to get back.

You should've come when you're not too busy...

and stay for lunch while you're at it.

I thought about coming after work,

but Papa Group is in a mess.

What now?

Is it because Min Soo lost?

Kim Sang Ho is on the run.

What?

I thought he was ecstatic about his inauguration ceremony.

Why would he run away?

He stashed away tens of millions of dollars...

over the course of at least 10 years.

After delivering his speech at the ceremony,

he made a run for it.

My gosh.

That rat was also a thief all along.

What will people think of the family?

Everyone's on high alert.

Min Soo left me in charge of Hara again...

to help sort things out.

Unbelievable.

Is there a crime that he hasn't committed so far?

Also, why did he flee from the authorities?

You know he's too proud to get caught.

Anyway, now he's a wanted fugitive.

Gosh.

What a fool.

Why is he wasting his talents like this?

Oh, dear.

How's Hae In?

She's good.

If Sang Ho had peacefully lived his life, I would've too.

He keeps on stirring things up and that gets on my nerves.

He disappoints me every chance he gets.

Irredeemable is what he is.

I see.

First, I'll start off by reading the agendas of...

today's meeting listed by our in-house lawyer.

First on our list...

are the names of crimes committed by newly appointed CEO Kim...

who is being accused by the prosecutor's office.

The prosecution has a warrant out for his arrest...

for the crimes of embezzlement, money laundering...

and setting up a slush fund.

I'm getting married.

I see you're at it again.

I heard that Sun Young's brother owns a wedding hall.

- He does. - Get me in contact with him.

Why throw a wedding when it won't last long?

Just have a meal with your families and exchange rings.

Could you be any more clueless?

Women are reborn in wedding gowns.

You've been reborn too many times.

One day, you'll die the very next day of wedding.

Does that happen to a person who gets married in old age?

Hold it right there.

Don't invite me to it. I'm not going.

Jealous, aren't we?

Just be your normal cool self and congratulate me.

What if I end up...

ruining your wedding out of jealousy?

I could always cancel it.

I honestly hope you make it work this time.

Anyway, who can I talk to at the wedding hall?

I'll give you Eun Hee's number.

I found Kim Sang Ho's car.

Next we will discuss,

President Park's request...

to nullify the vote of the shareholders...

and to immediately suspend Kim Sang Ho as a CEO.

The court is still discussing to nullify the vote.

However, they granted us permission to...

suspend Kim Sang Ho's qualification immediately.

He might be in the vicinity.

Search everywhere.

- Yes, Sir. - Yes, Sir.

Next, Kim Sang Ho also...

leaked trade secrets to our competitor Mama's.

Along with the testimony of their researchers,

the police are currently investigating the matter thoroughly.

Kim Sang Ho is nothing but a criminal who used...

our company for his personal gain.

He embezzled tens of millions of dollars from the company.

In his place...

we need someone to take the role as an interim CEO.

He's right.

That's something you'll need to decide on.

Sir, over there.

He's there!

Darn.

- Get him. - Stop right there!

Go that way.

Who are your nominations?

I'd like to say something.

Due to recent incidents,

the morale of our employees has plummeted...

and we've lost the public's trust.

There's no room for any more failure now.

That's why I nominate...

Mr Na Min Soo as the interim CEO.

I agree.

I agree too.

I agree.

If you have any objections, please speak out.

- I don't. - I don't either.

We have appointed Mr Na as our interim CEO.

Could you come out and say a few words?

Those idiots.

Oh, boy.

They are everywhere to catch me. Idiots.

Why aren't they chasing Da Hee.

Do they not know that she has taken all the money?

Well,

my goal as a CEO is to restore our key principles.

First, we'll be honest and dependable.

We will never deceive our consumers...

and as a result we will their trust.

Every act...

that goes against this principle...

will no longer have a place in our corporation.

- I'm excited to work with you. - Thank you.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

CEO Na, keep up the good work.

Thank you, Sir.

- Sir, we should go. - Sure.

I can finally be at ease now.

You should unpack and get back to your projects.

Of course.

Starting tomorrow, things will be hectic for you.

I'm already feeling it.

It's imperative that we bring Kim Sang Ho in.

That's the job for the prosecution.

They're too busy to do their work properly.

I can't believe that they actually lost him.

Well, I'll appreciate your help.

Of course. I'll do everything I can.

Leave.

Go away.

Get lost!

Unbelievable.

Go away.

Gosh, I didn't do anything.

How dare he ruins a CEO's meal!

Da Hee,

the day I catch you will be your last day.

Come in.

Min Soo, it's me.

Hello, Eun Hee.

How are things?

At today's contingency meeting,

I was appointed as interim CEO.

This soon?

Due to the recent events, it was imperative to appoint one.

I see.

If I had won the vote,

the company wouldn't have had to suffer this much.

How could he invite many important guests...

and run away like that?

He really is nothing but a coward.

He is.

Why couldn't he be satisfied with his life?

He wasn't worthy of it.

He was lucky to even get this far.

Father went home early, we should too.

Okay.

Your family will once again suffer.

Tell me about it.

Gosh, it's been a long day.

Bang Seok, I hope you're prepared for this.

Bob, did anything happen?

Well,

Sang Ho did call earlier.

Did you answer it?

I didn't recognise the number. It was probably from a payphone.

Gosh.

What did he say?

He said that he'll kill you,

but spare your life if you show up sooner.

- Did you play dumb? - Of course.

Good.

Keep telling him that and I'll call tomorrow.

He sure has a big mouth for a wanted fugitive.

Bang Seok,

there's no way I'm seeing you again.
