You Complete Me

Episode 28

You want me to get in Dalong's IPO project.

Why?

Most Sky has been following it for more than a year.

I'm sure you knew about recent changes in Most Sky.

Sun Li was eliminated.

The future in Most Sky is unknown.

It may still be consumed internally.

It's impossible for Dalong to leave its future to Most Sky.

Gao Shan is very capable.

There's no doubt with it.

I admit it.

But, the fact that he's promoted

as Vice President within a year

is sufficient to show

how dangerous he is.

You don't trust Gao Shan, do you?

I don't want to talk about it today.

I only want to know your answer.

Why did you choose me?

You have the patience and courage.

I admire that.

Of course, most importantly

you're Gao Shan's classmate

and you know him well enough.

This is a very good opportunity.

It can help you gain a firm foothold.

If I were you, I'd not let go of it.

This indeed is an opportunity.

If it was me in the past,

I would have taken it without hesitation.

Ms. Wu, what are you worried about?

Ms. Zheng.

I can't possibly pretend not knowing

your relationship with Lin Wo.

About this,

I won't hide it from her.

It's up to you. I'll wait for your answer.

Good morning.

Good morning.

Where's Wu Dongna?

Something big happened to Dinghe last night.

It had something to do with Lu Dong.

The cases were handed over to Nana.

She has been too busy to come back last night.

I think Wu Dongna was the one

who brought bad luck to Lu Dong.

I'm too close with you two.

It's easy to get into trouble.

It's too hard for me.

Your words are a bit hurtful.

Yet I'm sending you such good news early in the morning.

What good news?

I found an investor for Baibo.

Take a look to see if it's suitable.

I've seen many happy faces of entrepreneurs.

I feel the sense of accomplishment the most today.

Thank you.

A cheque?

What do you mean?

Even if you get the investment,

it'll take some time to get the funding.

I know the situation of Baibo.

The turnaround cost in Zhuhai is a problem.

I can't take it.

Just treat it as I lend it to you.

Return it to me when you have the money.

Am I not your boyfriend?

I have a suggestion.

Why not I give you some shares?

Share-Transfer Contract

Gao Shan shall enjoy

the exclusive right of Lin Wo's love,

dating priority,

the right as a lifetime partner.

Is this the contract that you came up with?

It's very profitable.

What kind of profit is it?

Stop messing around. I'm serious.

I'm also serious.

Your turn.

Can you stop being so childish?

We...

Alright.

Now, seriously...

Do you have the clay for stamp?

How are we going to stamp this?

What are you trying to do?

Don't move.

Done.

I have to keep this properly

in case you break your promise in the future.

Gao Shan, what the hell is...

I forgot something.

This is the interest.

You're...

Lin Wo, how initiative you are.

How exciting you are early in the morning!

Why did you come back?

Let me remind you, Mr. Gao, this is my house.

Nana has something to tell you.

It's okay, Nana.

Come on.

Actually, Zheng Wanying came to me.

She hoped Dinghe to work together with Most Sky

in Dalong's acquisition project.

Why?

Maybe it's because they feel uneasy

about the recent turmoil in Most Sky.

Actually, this is especially

a good opportunity for you.

Perhaps it can help you

gain a firm foothold in Dinghe.

Indeed.

In your previous style,

you would have taken it right away.

This time, Nana told me about it first.

She told me that she couldn't

betray her friends again.

-And she knew that Zheng Wanying... -That's enough.

I'm still here.

Actually, I've never thought that

one day, I'd hesitate

to take such a good chance right in front of me.

But, this time,

I really don't want to lie to my friends anymore.

Indeed.

I'm so touched

that Nana could make such a big change for me this time.

Shut up.

Actually, you don't have to worry about me.

Mr. Luo won't put the blame on me.

After all,

clients matter most.

I still separate business and private matters.

I've taken the case myself.

There's no reason to not let you take it.

Since you two don't mind it,

then I'm going to take it.

We went around

and got together again.

I have a feeling...

this trip to Zhuhai will be especially lively.

What are you worried about?

Nothing.

What are you going to do later?

I have to go back to the office

and make final preparations.

Sun Miao.

-Situations in Dalong's divisions... -Lin Wo.

Your father's here for you.

Have a good chat.

What are you doing here?

I came to talk to you.

I've heard about Baibo.

You have done a good job.

You got the news so fast.

When did you know?

I know what you're concerned about.

Don't worry.

That I chose Baibo

has nothing to do with your identity as my daughter.

You don't have to comfort me.

Since I dare to compete for the project,

I won't avoid these issues.

Xiaowo.

I came here this time

to apologise to you.

Sorry.

I've been treating you as a kid.

I was afraid that you'd get hurt.

I always wanted to protect you.

But I forgot that

failure was the must price for growing up.

I also walked through it step by step.

That you took the first step

reminded me of my business experience

I'm very pleased

and grateful.

Then, Mr. Qin.

Please maintain this point of view.

In our future work,

I also hope that you won't provide any privilege to me.

That's why I came for you.

I hope our relationship

will remain secret for the time being.

Not many people know about you.

Even if some know you,

they only know you as a child.

As to your internship in Dalong,

no one knows it except the secretary

and Wanying.

So?

There's a big loophole

in Dalong's company management.

I know about this clearly.

But, after all...

Dalong is an established company.

Human relations are intertwined.

A slight move may affect the situation as a whole.

If we need to rectify it,

we need to have huge courage and determination.

So, you need a knife to rip the gap.

Yes.

That's me.

You must stay out,

and be neutral and calm.

It's the decision of Wang Peng,

the person in charge of the Business Division,

to exclude Baibo previously.

The Business Division

interfered with the Human Resources Division.

Yes.

Now you know how serious this issue is.

Dalong chose to go public at this point

to prepare for the transformation of the company.

It's related to the future direction of the company,

even its survival.

I'd also like to take this opportunity

to eliminate some of the bad people in the company.

You're my daughter.

I trust you.

But I don't want to let others know about our relationship.

That'll cause us big troubles.

I understand.

I've finally reached this point.

I will find the truth.

I'll find out whether what happened to Qing Run

is a scam by Qin Shengsheng, or an accident.

But, what's more important is that

I must protect Lin Wo.

She's the most innocent

in the fight.

Xiaowo.

Are you confident to bear the burden?

Of course.

If you have nothing else to say,

then please go back, Mr. Qin.

Xiaowo.

Don't you have anything else to tell me?

For example,

in business.

If you have any trouble,

I can help you with my experience.

Mr. Qin, like what you said just now,

it's best for us to maintain

a business relationship.

As for private matters,

there's nothing to talk about.

Okay.

Is something bothering you?

Qin Shengsheng came to Baibo today.

He told me

about the restructuring of Dalong's human resources.

Are you feeling pressured because of the responsibility?

Sort of.

On the other hand,

I've had more contact with

Qin Shengsheng this year by chance.

I feel like he's not so strong

as I imagined.

It's like he's getting old.

No matter how powerful a person is,

he can't fight with time.

I said it before that

we didn't owe each other anything

and we had nothing with each other.

But, I...

Blood is thicker than water.

After all, he's your father.

Don't force yourself too much.

My dad used to be busy with his work

and neglected me and my mom.

And I blamed him, too.

Until the moment he died, I realised that all his efforts

were just to give me better living conditions.

When we worked overtime at Most Sky

for Yijia's case,

you told me that

keeping the crack on the watch

was to remember the scar of the past.

I know that you're not willing

to talk about those matters.

But, these days,

you've encouraged me to take Dalong's case,

to face my true self,

and to untie the knots in my mind.

So, I also hope that

you can try

to forget the scar of the past.

Let me help you to find someone

to fix this watch.

Sure.

Really?

I'll leave it to you.

We've arrived in Zhuhai again.

We came in a hurry last time and had no chance to have fun.

We're here for work.

Yes, we're here to work.

Mr. Gao, be professional.

We're still in business relationship now.

But we haven't arrived at Dalong yet.

Adapt to it in advance.

Life is life.

Work is work.

In the next period of time,

we have to cooperate with one another

and supervise one another.

Quarrels and conflicts are inevitable.

Everyone, please be understanding.

Don't worry.

I'll follow Nana's words

for sure while we're here.

Please call me Ms. Wu.

Thank you.

Dalong booked us apartments with the best service here.

Lin Wo and I will share a room.

The three of you...

will share one.

Let's go.

See you in Dalong's meeting room at 3pm.

Women...

are really heartless.

Where are you going?

I have nothing to do with you when off work.

Don't you have to check in?

Gao Shan.

Bei Xiaorong has definitely not given up completely.

You'd better watch out.

Don't think that you have Lin Wo completely to yourself.

She might run away with someone else one day.

I think,

this trip to Dalong

will be difficult.

Difficult indeed.

Weiyi Hotel

Dalong Group

Mr. Qin.

Mr. Qin.

Mr. Qin.

Mr. Qin.

I've invited you here today

to get to know each other.

Let me introduce some new colleagues.

This is

the representative from Most Sky, Gao Shan.

This is the representative from Dinghe, Wu Dongna.

They'll help

the company to take care of the IPO.

I hope we can help one another

and work together

in the days to come.

I don't need to say more about this one.

You all have heard of her.

Dalong's internal management is too obsolete.

For the better development of the company,

the board of directors decided

to hire a professional human resources company

to help restructure our human resources.

Hello, everyone.

I'm the representative from Baibo, Lin Wo.

I may bother you a lot during this period.

Please forgive me.

As to the current situation in Dalong,

Baibo conducted an inspection and analysis.

This is

the analysis of human resources structure

based on your company's current situation

and the preliminary adjustment plans.

You may have a look.

If you have any question, we can discuss and adjust together.

Lin Wo.

Gao Shan.

Did you make this proposal plan?

Dalong's project is too big.

Sun Miao and Mr. Zhang found a human resources company as a helper.

And I know Dalong well.

It's basically the result of the discussion with both sides.

Has Mr. Qin seen it?

Why do you ask so?

Gao Shan, we've agreed.

Separate work from private life.

No, I mean

the adjustment range is too broad.

At this point,

I suggest not to make such a disruptive change.

No one knows if it would affect the listing.

It is just a preliminary step.

The specific steps will be decided step by step.

But this plan affected many people's interests.

I don't want you to become a target.

Are you worried about me?

Yes.

I'm worried about you because I'm your boyfriend.

So, let's just take it slow, shall we?

One step at a time.

Boyfriend, thank you for your kindness.

I'll consider your recommendation.

No, but this...

That's enough.

Sun Miao is waiting for my call.

Let's have dinner together after work.

Have you seen this?

Yes, I have.

I'm worried if we take a huge step,

we'll alert others.

That's the result that I want.

Boiling the frogs in warm water is a nice thought.

But no one can guarantee

if the frogs would leap out

before the water boils.

It's better to scare them first

than to be afraid.

Let's see who will be the one that can't hold back.

This is your trick.

Lin Wo may not be able to withstand it.

She wants to try.

She didn't even know that she was going to face

a bunch of extremely sly men.

Especially Wang from the Business Division.

According to this plan,

he'll have to bear the brunt.

Do you think he'll sit and wait for his doom?

This is like slapping on my face publicly!

Outsourcing the online store,

and then forming a supervision division.

He might as well fire me!

Mr. Wang.

This is only preliminary.

Mr. Qin hasn't agreed to it.

It's not implemented yet.

Without his agreement,

how could we discuss about it in the meeting?

He has long been displeased with me.

He wants to replace all of the senior

who have done the business with him

so that he can do whatever he wants to the company alone.

Qin Shengsheng.

Fine.

You want to pick on me.

Since you're unkind to me,

then don't blame me for being unrighteous.

Have a look to see if you're satisfied with it.

It's quite good.

Here's your office.

Mr. Gao.

You may use this office at your will

when you work in Dalong.

Thank you.

You're welcome, Mr. Gao.

By the way, my name's Wang Ming.

I'm Ms. Zheng's assistant.

I'll be working with you

during this period of time.

Do let me know if there's anything you need.

One moment.

I remember Dalong had an adjustment

and transformation about ten years ago.

I'd like to take a look at the financial report of that period.

Sure you can, Mr. Gao.

But it requires the signature of Ms. Wu from Dinghe.

Mr. Gao.

Ms. Zheng told me that

all information you needed

required both of you to sign the application

before it could be approved.

So...

I understand.

Mr. Gao, should I ask Ms. Wu on your behalf?

No need.

I'll do it myself.

Okay.

I'll leave you here.

Ms. Lin.

Hang on.

Mr. Wang.

Ms. Lin.

Are you free tonight?

There're some nice restaurants around here.

I'm sorry.

I have an appointment tonight.

How about next time?

I'll treat you next time.

It's a pity, then.

Ms. Lin is quite careful to avoid suspicion.

She's never interacted with anyone in Dalong.

I got someone to get close to her.

No one succeeded.

If she wants to shield Mr. Qin, then so be it.

Have you heard it?

The boss hired some human resources experts,

saying that there's serious redundancy and some people might be laid off.

No way.

I've just joined the company.

I heard they started drafting the name list.

The Business Division would bear the brunt.

Wei.

Director Chen wanted you to go to his office.

Aren't we off work now?

I don't know.

Maybe it's urgent.

You should be hurried to go there.

Is Lin Wo making a big scene this time?

Where is she?

Are you hungry?

What do you want to eat tonight?

How about fish with pickles? It seems delicious.

What's wrong? You look unhappy.

Have you considered

what I told you this morning?

I know your concern.

But, a makeshift

won't help Dalong's current situation.

Do you know what matters most to a company?

It's the reassurance among the staffs.

Look, it's only been a few days

and the staffs are panicked by the layoff.

Layoff?

Baibo's only proposed an incentive policy, not laying off.

Some things would be blamed on Baibo

even if they're not what Baibo meant.

Are you the person in charge of Baibo?

Yes.

What are you doing?

What am I doing?

I finally got a job.

Look at what happened now.

I became jobless because of what she said!

Let me ask you, what makes you think I'm incapable?

-I didn't... -How could you deny it!

You did it.

Call me unlucky

for bumping into you

and your unlucky company.

How could this happen?

Don't you get it?

Someone

was spreading rumours

for his own good.

And he fired a few people to prove the rumours true

and put pressure on me.

Yes.

Which division was that guy from?

Business Division.

Then it's Mr. Wang.

He tried to rope me in previously but I rejected him.

Do you get it now?

Dalong's case is not so simple as you thought.

You can't take your step too far.

Otherwise, Mr. Qin wouldn't wait until now to take action.

That's why I should go further.

Lin Wo, but...

If I gave up now,

they would think that I was scared.

It'd be harder for me to move on in the future.

What if you face the same situation next time?

What would you do?

Mr. Qin's roadshow will be held in two days.

It's the first step of Dalong's listing.

They dare not and will not do anything to Mr. Qin.

The only way is to pick on you.

Then maybe next time they'll use more drastic means against you.

Don't worry. I'll protect myself.

Lin Wo, listen...

Gao Shan, you promised

that you would respect me.

But I can't see you get into danger and not do anything.

Lin Wo...

Thank you.

I know what I'm doing.

My clothes are wet. I can't go dinner with you.

I'll go back first.

Let's go together.

No.

What's wrong? Did you have a fight?

I was about to ask you.

Have you convinced her?

You're always like this.

You won't tell me anything.

Hello?

Send me the address.

Xiaorong.

Why are you sitting here?

Where's Gao Shan?

Didn't you two go out together?

I came back here alone.

How could he let you come back alone?

What if that guy came after you?

Do you think I was wrong in this matter?

No.

Don't you think my proposal is too radical?

No making without breaking.

Someone has to break the deadlock.

Those who don't take any action

and blame others instead

are the weak ones.

I feel much better to have someone comforting me.

Lin Wo.

Tell me what you want to do.

Gao Shan is not the only one who can help you.

For example?

For example, I'll always let you win.

Let me take you to a good place.

A toast.

To our cooperation.

Cheers.

Mr. Gao.

What a rare guest.

Gentlemen.

Let me introduce.

Mr. Gao from Most Sky.

He's currently in charge of Dalong's IPO.

He's young and capable.

Mr. Wang.

What happened to Ms. Lin from Baibo this afternoon,

did you arrange that?

Gentlemen.

I'm really sorry.

Let's call it a day.

How about

we continue tomorrow and I'll treat you?

Director Chen.

Please help and send them out.

I'm sorry.

See you next time.

We'll continue next time.

Mr. Gao.

You're still working at this hour,

and you came here to disturb me.

What do you want?

Answer my question!

What's wrong?

What exactly is your relationship with Mr. Qin?

No, Mr. Gao.

Please don't misunderstand.

Previously, Most Sky also sent some representatives.

But they had more permissions than you.

I heard that

you were asking for some information today but got refused.

How could they refuse you?

Director Chen is really good at getting news.

No, I only happened to hear about it.

Since you're able to get to this position in a short time,

you're also a smart guy.

Let's be frank.

Yes.

What happened

this afternoon at Dalong's hall

was indeed arranged by me.

Mr. Gao! Mr. Gao!

No... Don't be impulsive!

I didn't do that for no reason.

Once Lin Wo's human resources adjustment plan comes out,

few leaders in Dalong's core divisions

will still hold back.

I thought that you and Lin Wo

were merely making love affairs in the office.

I apologise to you once again.

Don't touch her.

Mr. Gao.

Please consider

cooperating with me.

I know that

Dalong's case

is very important to the strategic layout of Most Sky.

Now that Dinghe gets involved,

Most Sky must be upset about it.

You're now restricted everywhere

and it's hard for you to show your talent.

I understand how you feel.

Actually, our situations

are about the same.

If we cooperate,

I promise

to let you achieve your goals.

If you had told me this in the afternoon,

I might have agreed with it.

But, now...

No way.

Mr. Gao.

Don't refuse me so quickly.

I know.

You're upset now.

Think about it.

I'll wait for your good news.

Is this...

a game centre?

Yes.

It's been more than ten years since I came to such a place last time.

Why did you bring me here?

To let you experience the thrill of winning

and cheer you up, of course.

Let's go.

Let's go there.

Let's start with this one.

Lin Wo.

Do you believe that I'll let you win in whichever game you play?

You're amazing!

Amazing.

How're you feeling? Are you feeling better?

It feels really nice to keep winning.

I can't believe you can apply mathematics into this.

You knew it?

Of course.

You observed before starting playing a game every time.

And you kept looking at your watch.

I've heard about this before.

There's a way to cheat in video game machine.

As long as you operate

in a specific time and area, you'll easily win.

So you've been doing the calculation

in your head

to find the cheating point.

Bei Xiaorong, I think you're a genius in cheat...

mathematics.

As long as you're happy.

Okay.

I've released all my negative emotions.

Time to get back to work.

Stupid Gao Shan didn't even give me a call.

Why didn't you pick up my call

or come to the office with me?

Are you still mad at me?

Mr. Gao, get ready for the meeting.

Mr. Qin and Ms. Zheng aren't here to attend the meeting.

What's the meaning for us

to sit here?

Everyone.

Mr. Qin and Ms. Zheng

are attending a very important internal meeting.

So, they're unable to attend this meeting.

But, they specifically told me that...

The human resources adjustment

will be fully handled by Baibo.

Wang.

How many times have you repeated this statement today?

Since everyone has no other questions,

let's start the adjustment as planned from now on.

I hope that all leaders can complete the first internal adjustment

within the specified time.

Ms. Lin.

You see...

Thanks for your cooperation.

We finally got together here

only to listen to your nonsense!

You're messing around!

That's right.

To execute verbatim a plan

that's immature and unrealistic.

I wonder what Qin is thinking.

Wang, is our meeting over?

Thank you, everyone.

Ms. Lin.

Hold on.

I'm afraid the first round of implementation

will affect the roadshow of Mr. Qin.

To avoid affecting the normal issue of stocks,

I suggest

that we slow down the implementation

of the human resources adjustment plan?

Sorry.

I don't accept your suggestion.

Sub by WeTV & Ripped by skysoultan ♔ Follow @skysoultan on Instagram ♔

Gao Shan, wait.

Bro, how could you...

Those sly men said those things just now

obviously to put pressure on Lin Wo.

Are you on their side when you said that?

Lin Wo, though...

She didn't save your face in front of so many people.

Don't be angry, man.

I gave her my suggestion sincerely.

It's a pity that

she refused it.

Where are you going?

Come in.

Mr. Gao.

Mr. Gao.

How shall we cooperate?

That's it.

I saw that your little girlfriend didn't save your face.

If we keep dragging like this...

Mr. Wang.

How shall we cooperate?

It's easy.

You help me to settle Baibo.

And I'll help you to kick away Dinghe.

It's Ms. Zheng's decision for Dinghe's involvement.

She's the main person in charge of the listing.

Don't you forget

that I'm also a main shareholder of Dalong.

Stop asking about the details.

I just need a clear answer.

Fine.

But, I have one condition.

Sure, tell me.

I can help you to slow down the human resources adjustment plan.

But you have to make sure that

Baibo will not be implicated,

especially Lin Wo.

Mr. Chen.

The mister is sitting inside.

Please.

Here, have a seat.

Is Wang going to do something?

Yes.

He couldn't sit still as soon as

Baibo's plan came out.

He's also roped Gao Shan in and prepared to put pressure on you.
