Night Date at Bliss Hot Spring Pool With Unanticipated Consequences

Bliss Hot Spring Pool

Oh, God! It freaked me out!

Qiuxiang,

are they still following me?

Not yet.

My Lady,

why does Lady Ru

become suspicious of us again?

Hey,

look!

Ah,

it's discolored!

She was trying to

check my birthmark.

She must be suspicious

of my identity.

What should we do?

I need to go out.

I need help from Mr. Yanxi.

But how are you gonna go out

if Lianxin is waiting outside?

I'll play the old trick.

My Lady,

is there any other way?

Come on,

Qiuxiang,

I'm counting on you.

Men's Spa Area

Men's Spa Area.

Men's Spa Area

Well...

This is...

I got it.

I'm so lucky.

Men's Spa Area

This place is really nice.

That's right.

What is she doing now?

Mr. Ziqian,

who are you talking about?

It is none of your business.

Go get me a bottle of wine.

Yes, sir.

Look,

this is definitely running water.

That's right.

What brings her here?

Why would she dress like that?

Where on earth is it?

Keep your eyes on the road!

Apologize to me right now,

or I'll teach you a lesson

you won't forget.

Don't get any closer to me.

Hey,

it seems you get drunk

and bumped into my friend.

You're the one who should apologize.

Who are you

to talk to me like that?

Ouch, ouch!

It hurts! It hurts!

Watch your mouth!

Let's go.

Have a seat.

OK.

I'm so lucky to meet you here.

Otherwise, I would have got beaten

to a pulp.

It must be a pulp reeks of alcohol.

You're a girl.

What are you doing in men's spa area?

Well,

I heard that men's spa area

serves better wine.

So, I sneak into this place to have a taste.

Oh,

be my guest.

Come on,

the more the merrier.

Where is your elder brother?

Count him in.

He is listening to the music over there.

He won't be drinking with us.

Let's enjoy it.

Oh.

Oops!

I feel sleep

that I need to get some sleep.

I need to go back to my room.

I would walk you there.

Thanks, I'm good.

I'm fine on my own.

Enjoy the drink.

I'm leaving now.

Goodbye.

Hey!

Hey!

It's me.

This is men's spa area.

I need to talk to you. It's urgent.

Follow me.

I really need to talk to you.

I don't have time for this.

At least you could have a look at it.

Come on.

Look.

What happened?

There seems to be something wrong

with the water in the bathing pool.

The birthmark is bleaching.

Aunt has been looking into this.

It isn't easy for me to sneak out.

Yuanhe?

Aye.

I need you to get some things for me.

Aye.

Oh.

Yes, Young Master.

Come over here.

Oh.

Hey, wait a minute.

What are we doing here?

This place is safe.

Ah?

Oh.

What should we do now?

To make it true.

Ah?

Young Master,

I finally found you.

It's dark outside.

Cut the crap.

Aye.

Here are the things

you asked for.

Watch the door.

Don't let anyone in.

Yes, Young Master.

What is it?

Tattoo.

Ah?

Give me your hand.

Hold on.

I have something to say.

Once we get started,

our bond

will last for a lifetime.

If I die in the middle of the process,

please recognize me

when we meet

in the next life.

Be nice to me.

Don't bully or scold me.

Bring delicious food

and drink to me.

Get me whatever I need

and take good care of me.

Let's not overthink this, okay?

It's just a tattoo.

Don't try to comfort me,

Gu Yanxi.

If Lady Ru finds out

that I've been pretending to be Wan'er,

I'm doomed.

Please give me your promise.

Otherwise,

it is just not worth it.

You have my promise.

Hold on, hold on.

Now what?

Gu Yanxi,

if I make it,

perhaps we won't meet each other in the next life.

However, you still have to

keep your promise.

Alright,

you have my promise.

Su Xiaowan,

what kind of food do you like?

Well, I don' remember.

Take a moment to think.

Candied fruit?

Sweet dumplings?

Rice dumplings of red beans?

Meat! Meat!

I like meat dishes.

For example?

Chicken wings cooked with osmanthus.

Braised pork trotters.

Yes.

And?

Beggar's Chicken.

What is your favorite dish?

Ah.

Spareribs in sweet-sour sauce.

Madam,

Miss Wan'er has been sleeping.

She has been sleeping?

Yes.

Silly girl.

Wan'er,

I'm here to see you.

Open the door.

Aunt,

I'm ready to sleep.

Wan'er,

what happened

to your voice?

Aunt,

I've caught a cold and couldn't get out of bed.

Is it that bad?

I really should come in

to see you.

Hum.

Wan'er,

let me see you.

Oh, my god!

You're shaking badly.

Qiuxiang?!

Ma...Ma...

Madam.

What are you doing here?

Where is Wan'er?

Miss Wan'er said she wasn't feeling well

and would like to take a walk.

Hum.

You just told a silly lie.

How dare you!

You'll be punished

for pretending to be Wan'er!

Huh!

It is done.

Why are you still holding my hand?

Do you still have some final words to say?

You'll

keep your word,

right?

I'll just take your silence as a yes.

Come on,

where is she now?

Look, my lady.

That's Yuanhe.

What is he doing over there?

He is always

with Mr. Yanxi.

What is he doing here?

That's right.

Come on, let's check it out.

Aye.

Madam, madam...

You should be with Yanxi.

Why are you standing here all alone?

Well, Madam,

Mr. Yanxi is in the bath.

What?

You mean Yanxi is inside

having a bath?

Yuanhe,

you just told the most ridiculous lie.

This is women's spa area.

Women's Spa Area

Ah!

Well...

Get out of the way!

He...

-Get out of the Way! -Mr. Yanxi is...

He is...

Madam.

Huh!

Madam.

It's Lady Ru.

What should we do?

Keep quiet.

Who is there?

It's me.

Ah!

I'm sorry, Yanxi.

Sorry for the interruption.

Keep going.

Keep going.

Madam, he... You...

Alas!

You should have told me earlier.

Ah,

I thought I have told you before.

Mr. Yanxi is...

What are you talking about?

You never told me

that they're doing it in there.

Ah?

Doing what?

You're so silly.

Alas!

Alright, alright.

You don't have to know about it.

Watch the door for Yanxi.

Don't let anyone interrupt him,

understand?

Oh.

Yes, Madam.

Come on.

Doing what?

Has she gone?

Yes.

I should go.

Hey,

wait a minute.

Well...

I should go.

Take your time.

We couldn't find her

anywhere.

Where the hell is she?

Alas!

Alright.

I'm tired.

You two check her room again.

If she is still hiding,

there must be something to it.

Aye.

Hold on.

Ah,

bring some gifts along with you

for the sake of courtesy.

If

she is back,

check her out carefully.

Aye.

Who is that?

Qiuxiang, it's me,

Lianxin.

Lady Ru is worried that Miss Wan'er

can't sleep well because of her old wounds.

So, she sent us

to deliver the calm sachet

which can be hung over the bed.

Also, there are good medicines for injuries

in case of emergency.

That's very thoughtful of Lady Ru.

Miss Wan'er just came back from walk and is now sleeping.

Please be gentle when you're in the room.

Okay, no problem.

Please put it here.

OK.

Lianfang,

hang this over the bed.

Aye.

Qiuxiang, let me explain to you

how to use these medicines.

Sure.

Look,

this one is to stop the bleeding.

This one is to remove blood stasis.

And this one

can be taken internally

and used on the skin.

And this one

shall be taken only after meals.

Don't get confused.

Okay, no problem.

That's about it.

If you forget,

please feel free to ask me.

OK,

thank you.

Well,

we should go.

Okay.

Take care.

Okay.

-Madam. -Madam.

How is it?

The birthmark did not fade.

Did you check it carefully?

Absolutely.

Bliss Hot Spring Pool

I had a spa yesterday.

It makes me feel so comfortable today.

Your spa

is really nice.

Thank you for saying that.

Old Madam is welcome

to spend a few more days next time.

Absolutely.

If it weren't for Yanxi

who needs to hand in his design drawing

to the Commandery Prince Mansion for competition,

I would never want to leave here.

What Mr. Yanxi has achieved

at his age

is really impressive.

That's kind of you to say.

He still needs to work on it.

Mother, take care.

Cousin, thank you for what you've done for us.

Thank you.

It's okay.

Grandma,

I'll go to Commandery Prince Mansion directly.

Okay.

We're going back home now.

Let's get in the carriage.

-Okay. -Okay.

I guess we'll be on our way, then.

Old Madam,

you're always welcome here, along with your family.

Sure.

Goodbye, cousin.

Aye.

Take care, Old Madam.

Aye.

Take care.

You're always welcome here.

Commandery Prince Mansion

I see a lot of fresh faces.

They are all promising young men.

Perhaps we're too old

to compete with them.

You're being modest.

Everyone knows that the Chens

produce the most exquisite gold artifacts.

Sorry for the wait.

Please hand in your design drawings.

Please wait here for a moment.

I'll deliver the drawings to His Highness.

Thank you.

Alas!

I'm not sure if I can make it this year.

Alas!

Alas!

Alas!

Your Highness,

here are the drawings of the candidates.

Please have a look.

Bring them to me.

Your Highness, check it out.

Your Highness, have a look.

Gu Mansion

Well...

How is it going?

Alas!

She is truly Wan'er, right?

So, she is still alive.

What should we do now?

You should go to live somewhere else for a while.

I'll keep you updated.

What about you?

I'm not leaving without you.

Come on!

Don't panic!

I won't be held to account

even if she remembers what happened back then.

I'll pass message to you

as soon as I could.

Things will be easier

with you being out there.

This time,

I'll do it once for all.

What's taking so long?

It's been a while.

I heard that His Highness is very picky.

I'm afraid

our drawings

are not up to His Highness' standard.

Fumantang Jewelry Shop

How long will it be?

I have no idea.

Alas!

Hey, we're getting the result.

Sorry for the wait.

I hereby declare

that the winner is Yunxin Hall

of the Gu family.

Alas!

According to His Highness' order,

all the candidates

will be awarded one hundred taels of silver.

Oh.

Our gratitude to His Highness.

Our gratitude to His Highness.

Mr. Gu,

please follow me.

Aye.

Contract

Here is the letter of commission,

with the delivery time specified.

Make sure

to make it on time.

I've read the contract.

I have no problem with it.

Please make your mark here.

Gu Yanxi

It is done.

Mr. Gu, you're a promising young man.

This opportunity

would further help with your career.

I'm sure

you'll cherish this opportunity.

However,

I have to say,

His Highness is a loving brother

to Her Highness.

His Highness

has been planning the birthday gift

for Her Highness.

So, Mr. Gu,

you can't

be too careful

with this order.

His Highness won't let you get away with it

if there is anything wrong with the gift.

Thank you for reminding me.

I'll bear it in mind

and be very careful.

Alright.

Mr. Gu,

I would walk you out.

Thank you.

My lady!

Ah?

I learned a big secret.

Do you want to hear it?

Hey,

I thought you went out with Chunxi.

I wasn't expecting you're back so soon.

Today, we got the visiting letter from the Cheng family.

Miss Cheng will be visiting here

in a couple of days.

Miss Cheng?

That's right.

Cheng Qianyu,

the eldest daughter of the Cheng family,

a prestigious jeweler family in Jiangnan.

She is Mr. Yanxi's childhood sweetheart.

They are said to

have deep feelings for each other.

She is coming to visit Old Madam,

as appears to be the case.

But I guess

she's coming for Mr. Yanxi.

After all, they haven't seen each other for years.

They must be suffering from lovesickness.

That's why...

Don't overthink this!

They haven't seen each other for years.

There isn't necessarily any lovesickness.

Miss Cheng is said to be both

beautiful

and graceful.

Mr. Yanxi was very into Miss Cheng

when he was a kid.

Besides,

Miss Cheng has arrived in Lin'an for some time.

She has been dating Mr. Yanxi in secret.

What?

Dating in secret?

Chunxi told me that.

She said Miss Cheng didn't send the visiting letter earlier

only because the two wanted to spend more time privately.

I heard that Miss Cheng

also went to Bliss Hot Spring Pool,

having a night date with Mr. Yanxi in the spa.

Huh?

And they were spotted by Lady Ru,

half-naked,

very sexy.

The spa?

That's right.

Date night?

That's right.

Lady Ru's maid saw that with her own eyes

and told Chunxi about it.

And then Chunxi told me about it.

We got the information straight from the horse's mouth.

And there are more details

about it.

Hey,

Qiuxiang,

I'm going out.

I have an errand to run.

Where are you going, my lady?

Miss Wan'er!

Miss Wan'er!

Ah?

Old Madam wants to talk to you.

You need to get over there right now.

Oh,

I see.

May the Family Prosper

Wow,

Wan'er is here.

Where have you been?

We've been waiting for you.

Oh.

Well,

aunt, grandma,

what happened?

Why is everybody here?

We got great news.

Great, great news.

Have a seat.

Did Physician Ru say

that grandma is alright?

Now my granddaughter is here,

I certainly feel much better.

Today, I get you all here

because I have a big, happy announcement to make.

Yanxi,

do you remember Qianyu?

You mean Cheng Qianyu, the daughter of the Cheng family?

Yes,

that's right.

Before I got married,

her grandmother and I were close friends.

Qianyu used to spend a lot of time

playing in Gu Mansion.

Many years have lapsed.

I really miss her.

Now that

I feel much better

these days,

I wrote her a letter,

inviting her to

spend a few days here

with me.

Isn't that a nice thing?

Grandma,

you've been talking about Qianyu.

It seems you like her

more than me.

Look at you.

I only got

three grandchildren.

Yanxi

doesn't talk much.

Ziqian

is busy with his study.

I just thought

you could get a girl at your age

to talk to.

Oh.

Mother,

we will take good care

of Qianyu.

While she is here,

I'll ask Ziqian to spend some time with her,

to keep her from being lonely.

Don't worry.

Yanxi and Qianyu

grew up together.

They know each other very well.

Yanxi,

it's a rare chance to have Qianyu here.

Take good care of her.

Aye.

Qianyu will be visiting in a few days.

I want you to pick her up for me,

okay?

Grandma, I will do as you say.

Good.

Brothers,

according to grandma,

the Cheng family enjoys good reputation.

I think the daughter of such an influential family

is supposed to stay at home.

Why would the Cheng family be so open-minded?

How could an unmarried young lady

move around so freely?

Grandma has made her point.

She just wants a lively house.

Zaifu Hall

Are you saying

that grandma wants to adopt Miss Cheng?

What are you talking about?

Grandma wants to

find a sister-in-law for you.

I should go.

Yuanshuang!

Aye.

Are you getting married?

Ziqian just made it up.

Don't take up the chant.

So, you're not getting married?

Did you listen to me?

So, are you getting married or not?

Just shut up.

You're too noisy.

It's still up in the air.

You scolded your little sister

because of Miss Cheng.

Su Xiaowan.

Yes?

Just let it go.

Well, one last thing I'd like to ask.

You said you remember Miss Cheng.

Do you remember about a piece of jade

and a little girl?

Madam,

Mr. Ziqian is back to his room.

I said I don't remember it.

I won't forget it if it's really important to me.

It doesn't matter if I don't remember it.
