Episode 30

Yin,

do

not

go

away.

I know that

the voice in my mind

has always been my elder sister.

However, there are many things that

I have to make it clear.

For example, I need to find out

where the Dark Cave is.

I also need to find out

whether I should kill Specter or not.

Do you understand?

Neon.

Stop following me.

Sir.

Here’s your tea.

OK, thanks. That’ll be all.

Wait.

The bowl

is a little bit dirty.

OK.

It’s clean.

It’s not good tea anyway.

Don’t be so judgmental.

It's made of tree leaves

and there's no need to taste it.

You’re way too irritable.

You should be patient in doing everything.

I’m not the same as you.

Not in what ways?

Tastes?

You’re right about everything.

Now you had your tea

and enough rest.

Shall we go now?

I’m hungry.

Lord.

There's something I need to tell you.

I know that you may have heard about

Yang Ze’s disappearance.

I know where Yang Ze is.

Because I was supposed to

go with him.

I’m your Lord,

but why didn’t you tell me earlier?

I know that it’s my fault

not to tell you earlier.

On the day we set off for cultivating,

I hid Yang Ze in my room.

I was planning to

go out to make some preparations

and then leave with him.

We planned to look for Tian Ji.

Upon leaving, Yang Ze told me that

he wanted to go alone.

Why didn’t you tell me then?

Actually, I know that

on that day you took me away,

you purposefully kept me away from him,

so I can stay out of his affairs.

Right.

Yang Ze has told me

everything.

I know it’s very dangerous,

but he trusts me.

Therefore, I think I should go to him now.

So are you going against me?

I’m asking for your advice.

If I intend to go against you,

I would have left earlier.

Do you think I will agree?

I think that

if you find a friend

in the same situation,

you’ll make the same choice.

If you don’t stop me,

I’ll take that as a yes.

Wait.

Do you know where Tian Ji Library is?

Over there.

Lord.

Thanks a lot.

You're right.

I’ll make the same choice.

Tian Ji Library?

Has the seal in Grandpa's study

been breached?

Has Grandpa come back?

Master Tian Ji,

I'm Yang Ze. May I talk to you?

All the records here

are about the royal family of Xuancang.

Treaty on the Secret.

Are these

the secrets guarded by Master Tian Ji?

Why are they empty?

Yang Ze.

Sorry.

Sorry.

I can't help you.

I don't want you to find Grandpa.

I don't want you to find Grandpa.

Rosemary.

Why are you here?

Kynil.

Yang Ze.

Kynil.

It won't help.

You'll only hurt yourself.

Who did it?

It was Tian Ji, wasn't it?

What did he do to Yang Ze?

Rosemary.

Do you know?

Was that you?

No, it’s not me.

So why are you here?

Tian Ji

is my grandpa.

He left here a long time ago.

Upon leaving,

he set a Barrier here.

Only the one who breaks this Barrier

can share the secret.

So I hurried to come here

once I found the Barrier was broken.

Where's Tian Ji now?

Grandpa is missing.

He was planned to cultivate in seclusion

and wait for the Barrier-breaker.

But out of no reason,

he was missing.

Maybe he thought it dangerous here

and left with the secret.

That's why

I don't want Yang Ze to find my grandpa.

I don't want Grandpa to

get into danger again.

But can you release Yang Ze first?

Unless...

Unless what?

Unless

he promises me not to look for Grandpa.

It's impossible.

Yang Ze.

I can't promise you.

You're here anyway.

Don't worry.

I'll get you out.

Yang Ze.

I don't know what the secret is,

but it's a secret that

my grandpa protects with his life.

If you know that secret,

you'll be taking my grandpa's life.

I grew up without parents,

so Grandpa is the only family

I have in the world.

Rosemary,

I've got many responsibilities.

For the imperial family

and the masses of Xuancang,

I'll try my best to

find that secret

and the one who brings disasters to

the royal family of Xuancang

even at the cost of my life.

But if I let you go,

I'll be putting my grandpa

in danger.

If anything occurs to Grandpa,

I'll never forgive myself.

Rosemary.

Kynil.

Stop persuading me.

You won't understand my feelings.

Rosemary.

Have you ever thought about this?

Your grandpa set this Barrier

to wait for Yang Ze.

Do you really want to

go against your grandpa

and kill Yang Ze?

If you insist on taking Yang Ze away,

you'll need to take me down first.

Rosemary.

Yang Ze is my friend.

Do you really want to do this?

I'll inform the others

of your intrusion.

You won't be able to leave.

Stop thinking about it.

Yang Ze.

I'll help you out right away.

So,

are you OK?

It's strange.

I seem to have recovered.

I'm feeling much better now.

How could this happen?

Besides, the Barrier just disappeared.

I've got it.

Rosemary has purposefully let us go.

She pretended to attack me just now.

But in reality,

she was disabling the trap.

Do you remember

what she said before leaving?

I'll inform the others now

of your intrusion.

You won't be able to leave.

Stop thinking about it.

Actually,

when she went to inform others,

it was a good time for us to leave.

Grandpa.

Sorry.

I hope that it's the right decision.

Now that the trap is disabled,

let’s get out of here.

Maybe we can

find the secret about Tian Ji's whereabouts.

What?

If Rosemary didn't help us,

you would have died here.

Rosemary didn't want us to find Tian Ji,

but she released me.

I believe that she didn't want to see

to see me being tortured.

But what if

she did it to protect Tian Ji, too?

Is there

really any clue about

Master Tian Ji's whereabouts here?

It looks like it's going to take a long time.

In this room,

if one follows a Taoist priest's performance step,

his mind will go to the air

and reach the heaven.

By reading spells,

he can summon deities.

This is the origin of all Powers.

I've got it.

What's it?

The clue about Master Tian Ji's whereabouts.

Where is it?

Look at this room.

It's deliberately deployed.

I think that

it points out a direction.

When I walk here

HIC is also looking for Tian Ji,

everything makes sense.

The whole room

is just like a map of Taoist performance.

Now look over there.

This cabinet

is in the location of the Jing constellation.

Can you see any difference

between this cabinet and the others?

No, I can't.

This cabinet is

a formation in the shape of "Jing".

Among these cells,

the third is the brightest.

So the secret

should be on an oracle bone in the third cell.

There's really something inside.

It turns out the clue

is really in this room.

What does it say?

Master Tian Ji’s clue

points to the suburb of the Imperial Capital.

They're upside down.

That's so impressive.

If it was me,

I could never

find that clue.

I don’t know these letters,

so how could I help my lord?

These letters

are difficult for you.

Do you know these?

It's N-I-L.

As in Kynil.

It's from Kynil?

It's not so hard!

I can teach you later.

Really?

You promise?

I promise.

Rosemary.

Rosemary.

We're leaving.

Are you coming with us?

If your grandpa is in danger,

You can help.

There is strength in number.

Rosemary.

Sorry.

We put you in dilemma.

Don't worry.

I will find

Master Tian Ji

and bring him back

to you.

When you make up your mind,

you can come to us.

The clue is on the third layer of

the Jing Constellation.

Remember to come to us.

Let's go.

I must have made a mistake.

There should be an island here.

Why is my vision getting blurred?

I'll check carefully again

when the sun rises tomorrow.

Neon.

Look.

The sunshine on the sea is so beautiful.

The island.

I've finally found it.

I am sure about the direction,

but I can't figure out

the specific location.

I said we needed Rosemary.

That annoying girl.

She was unwilling to help us out.

Did she let us go

because she knew we wouldn't find it?

Who is it?

Who hit me?

You spoke ill of me behind my back.

Besides hitting you,

I'm also going to beat you.

Yang Ze.

I told you not to

speak ill of another one behind her back.

I know,

as you see,

Rosemary will help us out.

You are right.

I shouldn't have spoken ill of you.

Don't take it serious.

You appeared right after I praised you.

So,

are you here to help us?

I haven't decided yet.

You haven't decided yet?

Then why are you following us?

I'm going back to the Imperial Capital, OK?

The Imperial Capital?

How do you know we're going back?

Are we going

the right way?

The Black Magic.

Girl.

We've met again.

You're the bounty hunter.

Fu Yong?

Why can you

perform Black Magic?

How shall I deal with you

if I'm not strong enough?

Stop the nonsense!

Where's Tian Ji?

You want my grandpa?

No way.

Kynil.

I’m not their target.

Rosemary is!

Kynil!

Tell me.

Why are you following them?

I...

I am not.

In view of your strength,

if you perform Black Magic,

you can only make three moves.

If you don't win within three moves,

you'll surely die.

Lord, pardon me!

Lord.

I don’t know he is your disciple.

It’s a mistake.

Sorry to have disturbed you.

I'm so sorry.

This island

is really weird.

In these caves...

I’d better look for the Spring of Truth first.

Things are weird,

so I'd better not make any other trouble.

Lord.

Have you been secretly protecting us?

I didn't want to do that originally.

However, I found those people

following you all the way

while you didn't realize it.

Lord VII,

thanks for saving us again.

Those people

followed you all the way to Tian Ji Library

but didn't show up.

They didn't attack you

until Rosemary appeared.

I guess

the one true target of theirs is

Tian Ji.

Why does everybody want to find Tian Ji?

Damn it!

Fu Yong has run away.

If they find

Tian Ji before us...

We have to be quick!

No.

They won’t find my grandpa.

Yang Ze.

I'll take you to my grandpa.

I didn't take you to him before

because he'll die

once he speaks out

the secret.

Have you…

made up your mind?

Grandpa has been

protecting his own life

because he's waiting for someone.

It's Grandpa's mission.

I can't stop him

because of my personal attachment.

Do you know who he's waiting for?

No.

But Grandpa once said that

when all people are looking for him,

it'll be time he fulfill his mission.

I'll lead you to find my grandpa.

I hope that

it's the right decision.

Wait.

I know a way

to make everybody know the truth

and prevent Rosemary's grandpa from

dying of breaking his words.

What's it?

There's a spring

called the Spring of Truth.

I'm going to find

a place called the Spring of Truth.

What is that?

I heard that

the spring

allows people to see the truth.

However, I have no idea

whether it's true or not.

The Spring of Truth.

Legend has it that the spring

allows people to see the truth.

If this is true,

Rosemary's grandpa won't have to

tell the secret himself.

So where shall we find the spring?

Who told you this?

Shen Yin.

She's already on her way to find it.

Therefore, I think that

it’s another option,

if we can find the Spring of Truth.

On the western coast of Xuancang,

there's a place called the Fairy Island.

The Spring of Truth

is right on the island.

It's just a legend,

but at least we can go find out.

Whether it's true or not,

I'll give it a try.

HIC is also looking for Tian Ji,

so we need to find Tian Ji soon

and protect him from

being murdered.

OK.

Let's split up.

I have the Ice Fang,

so I think I can find the Fairy Island soon.

Kynil.

Just go.

I'll stay here.

I'll set off right away.

Remember this.

Don't rush into any decision.

When you're in trouble,

don't rash to it.

Did

my father send you

to take me home?

No.

But

why are you sleeping here?

It's my fault.

I didn't pay attention to the time.

I didn't realize it was late

until the sun rose.

It's so uncomfortable to

be in the sunlight.

Without a choice,

I have to wait until the sun sets and then go home.

You mean

you have to wait until the sun sets?

Father

must be worried about me.

I haven't slept well

in the daytime.

When I go home,

Father will definitely criticize me.

It's OK.

As long as you get home safely,

your family

won't blame you.

My name's Jiang You.

What's your name?

There are hardly outsiders on our island.

I'm Shen Yin.

Jiang You,

have you always been living on the island?

I was born on the island,

and have never left.

Shen Yin,

what brings you to the island?

I come to the island

to look for a spring

called the Spring of Truth.

Have you ever heard about it?

The Spring of Truth?

Why are you looking for it?

My father said that

there is Water Sprite

in the Spring of Truth.

When one gets close to it,

the Water Sprite will drag him down.

The Water Sprite?

I heard about it since I was little.

As I grow up,

I've found that

almost every child

has heard about it from his parents.

Maybe it's made up

to scare the children.

Jiang You,

do you know

where the Spring of Truth is?

No.

Father told me that

the Spring of Truth

has been sealed by

a powerful man.

You're one of the few outsiders to the island,

so I should invite you to dinner at my home.

When the sun sets,

I'll take you home.

You can ask my father about

the Spring of Truth.

That will be great!

However,

do we have to wait until the sun sets?

It's strange.

He's such a strange boy,

but he possesses no Power at all.

Why do we stop here?

What are we waiting for?

It should be nearby.

This is the location.

We're waiting for an instruction.

Would you please make it clearer?

Actually,

the way to Grandpa's shelter is not fixed.

So,

Grandpa leaves a clue to me every time,

allowing me to find him with Tian Ji Star.

The so-called Tian Ji Star

is the farthest star in the sky.

Over there.

Tian Ji Star. That's it.

Let's go.

Jiang You.

Wake up, Jiang You.

The sun has set.

Has the sun set?

Let's go.

I'll take you home.

If you're with us,

Father may not

punish me.

Let's go.
