(Episode 41)

- Wasn't she fired? - She was fired.

Hello, we meet again.

I'm Jennis Han, the new chief director.

The new chief director?

This is my personal assistant.

I'm Danny Jung.

Danny Jung?

The new chief director? What do you mean?

Ignore her.

How dare you show your face here?

Get out right now. No.

Apologize to Hae Joon while you're here.

You know they dropped the charges, right?

Did the seductress who framed an innocent man of sexual assault...

come to apologize or something?

I just told you I'm here as the new chief director.

Are you out of your mind?

I guess Chairman Wang didn't tell you.

He said my reinstatement was his condition for the investment.

Okay, then.

I'll greet the chairman first.

What happened?

Why would Chairman Wang recommend Jennis?

Didn't you know at all?

How could I? Even my father didn't know.

Hello?

We're in trouble.

What?

Sir.

(Chief Director Koo Hae Joon)

What happened?

It was like this when I got here.

They redecorated the office too.

What's this? When did they do this?

(Congratulations on your promotion to chief director)

"Congratulations on your promotion to chief director"?

What nonsense is that? Chief director?

You're not our chief director.

Get out.

Who are you? Step aside.

I'm Ms. Jennis Han's personal assistant, Danny Jung.

How dare a lowly assistant...

I heard Chairman Wang recommended me.

What?

He said you agreed to a new hire in exchange for his investment.

A new hire?

I'm that new hire.

It's nice to see you again, Mr. Chairman.

Mr. Jang!

Yes, sir.

Get rid of them.

Don't try to pull one over on me. Why would Chairman Wang...

Ask Chairman Wang yourself.

Why you...

Sir.

Calm yourself down.

What will happen to the company if you collapse?

You should protect the company.

Your son is still on probation too.

What?

Get out!

Darn it!

Don't tell me Jennis is using this office.

What's going on?

This is a declaration of war.

This was all planned out.

What is Chairman Wang's relationship with Jennis?

What is their relationship? And what's with that assistant?

Jennis and Danny are siblings.

Siblings?

What are you doing in my office?

"My office"?

What garbage are you pulling?

You lied that you'd leave Korea but stabbed Hae Joon in the back.

Were you planning to come back like this?

What's your relationship with Chairman Wang...

Watch your mouth.

I hear you guys are siblings.

Jung Yun Hoo. You intentionally approached me, didn't you?

Who are you guys?

I thought we were good drinking buddies.

Drinking buddies? Give me a break. You fraud.

We need to talk.

I heard you were on probation.

We'll talk once you're back at work.

I said we need to talk.

Please leave.

Jung Yun Woo.

Danny Jung?

It took you longer than I expected.

I have a tendency to trust people too much.

I'll make it simple.

What is it that you want?

If you're here for revenge, you made a bad call.

This will become your graves.

Just go to the chairman.

He seemed very shocked.

They got rid of all traces of Hae Joon.

Okay.

Congrats,

(Chief Director Jennis Han)

Ms. Chief Director.

I was avoiding garbage and ran right into a garbage truck.

Are you okay?

Sit down.

Did you see Jennis?

Yes. Did you ask Chairman Wang?

What's their relationship?

He's her sponsor.

What kind of sponsor?

What do you think? It's obvious, isn't it?

Reinstate Hae Joon right away.

Jennis removed all his belongings...

and claimed his office.

What?

She got herself a rich partner and came back with a grudge.

This is part two after reporting him for sexual assault.

We should return the investment and get rid of her.

Do you know much the penalty is if we were to get rid of her?

Everyone at the company is talking about Chairman Wang...

being Jennis' rich partner.

The mood is a mess.

Darn it!

Yes, Chairman Wang.

Thank you.

I'm counting on you going forward as well.

Yes.

What do you mean?

What do you mean, Jennis is back?

Make sure it isn't salty and well mixed.

Yes, ma'am.

My gosh. Let me taste it.

Yes, ma'am.

It's perfect.

I hope Carry likes it.

(Eun Ha)

Hello?

What do you mean?

Why would Jennis be our company's chief director?

Are you feeling okay?

What?

Honey, did she really come as the new chief director?

How could this happen?

No. Kick her out right now.

She can't be near Hae Joon.

Why is she back?

What does she plan to do to Hae Joon this time?

No. No, no! Definitely not.

Suspend all sales of the detox line for now.

Post an announcement that we'll announce the result...

once it's out.

Yes, Ms. Chief Director.

Send out a press release that we've destroyed...

all the products made with the fake fabric, and that we will...

recall those in circulation.

Yes, sir.

The company in China sent a notice of contract termination.

That's unacceptable.

Tell them we will help them get...

the import-export contract that they're trying for.

Jennis' younger brother is Jung Yun Woo, a lawyer.

He was Mr. Kang's lawyer during the hostage situation.

Are you saying this was all planned out from the start?

He claims he's just his client,

but if he knew him back then,

the detox invention matter may have been part of their scheme.

What?

What about Chairman Wang?

Is he involved too?

I don't know about him.

This is only a speculation,

but you'll have to be prepared for every eventuality.

If that's true,

these punks came strategically in order to take over our company.

Find the evidence right away.

I'll dig into Mr. Kang first.

Be discreet so they don't notice.

And you. You be the senior manager of marketing.

Since Jennis is back, you need to be back too.

This is war.

Mr. Koo Hae Joon was demoted to senior manager.

Isn't that huge?

It's bigger that Ms. Han surpassed him.

- Hello. - Hello.

Serve Mr. Koo well.

- Yes, ma'am. - Yes, ma'am.

Father should've made you the president.

How could he put you below Jennis?

She's romantically involved with Chairman Wang too.

She's disgusting.

She makes me sick.

Sir? Do you need anything?

Dig into Jennis and her brother's relationship with Chairman Wang.

I don't want rumors. I want facts.

Yes, sir.

Find out who's backing Jennis and her brother.

It's most likely Chairman Wang.

I'll focus on the relationship between the three of them.

Also, Jennis and the board members are having lunch together.

She must have won them over too.

I didn't want to come back in case you'd think I was back...

to retaliate for my termination.

When I thought about J Group's current situation,

I concluded my return would be a win-win.

I wanted to restore my reputation damaged by the unfair termination.

Is that why you called us here?

I wanted to introduce myself again...

and ask you to investigate the fake fabric debacle.

An investigation?

Do you think...

the senior manager of product development was clueless...

that the factory's fabric was fake?

She may have received a commission.

You don't think Ms. Hong would've done that, do you?

We should investigate.

I'm thinking of using this...

to point out the problems of the owner-management system...

I heard all of you had a problem with it as well.

Please eat. The food will get cold.

She's having a feast with the board members...

as if she's coming home in glory.

She plans to put the board in her back pocket.

How can we watch her walk around with her head held high?

I knew she couldn't be underestimated,

but if she could control a magnate like Chairman Wang...

That's why Hae Joon was had so easily.

You won't let her get away with it, will you?

Jennis and Mr. Kang, the president of Nora Fashion,

seem to know each other.

Are you sure of it?

Hae Joon is investigating it now.

Once we have the evidence,

we can get rid of them all in a single blow.

Make sure to get the evidence.

It's your turn to get revenge.

Create the evidence and connect them at all cost.

Let me know if I can help.

This is top secret.

We can't let Jennis know,

so we can strike them all at once.

Of course.

Why did you do this to me?

Tell me.

Why did you do this to me?

To get revenge.

What's their relationship?

He's her sponsor.

What kind of sponsor?

What do you think? It's obvious, isn't it?

I knew she couldn't be underestimated,

but if she could control a magnate like Chairman Wang...

That's why Hae Joon was had so easily.

Revenge. Chairman Wang.

Sponsor?

Darn it!

I wondered where you fled to.

How dare you show up like this and stab me in the back?

I didn't expect to show up like this either.

Life is amusing at times, isn't it?

Amusing? Why you...

How dare you stop me? Do you know who I am?

Step aside.

I know you're Hong Se Ra's mother.

Then how dare you do this?

You. Weren't you the one who carried Se Ra home?

It's been a while.

Why are you with Jennis?

What is your relationship?

I'm Jennis' brother.

What? Brother?

Why you...

Be careful.

You'll suffer if you break a bone in the cold weather.

Mom!

Are you okay?

I regret...

not killing her back then.

Big time.

Isn't that Mother?

What's with the apron?

Is she here to see Jennis?

I heard they concluded there was a lack of culpability. Congrats.

I don't want to hear that from the person who put me through it.

Either apologize...

or ignore me.

That's the humane thing to do, isn't it?

You deserve an acting award.

What are you hiding, that you played two roles?

Mr. Jung Yun Woo.

Or is it. Danny Jung?

Are you even really Jennis' brother?

I told you it was by law only.

How can I believe you?

Why did you ask if you weren't going to believe me?

You should've just looked into it.

Aren't there cameras here?

You are committing assault, Mr. Koo Hae Joon.

I will find out...

who you people are.

Please...

do that.

(Chief Director Jennis Han)

Why are you here?

How dare you show your face here?

I'm Jennis Han, J Group's chief director...

as of today.

What? Say that again.

J Group's chief director, Jennis Han.

(Congratulations on your promotion to chief director)

You're what?

Say that again!

Like I said, I'm J Group's chief director...

J Group's chief director?

Just who are you exactly?

Why did you show up in Hae Joon's life again?

What you did to him until now wasn't enough?

You had to steal his job? Why?

Tell me why you're doing this to Hae Joon.

Tell me!

Why are you doing this?

Let go of me.

Answer me!

Why are you doing this to us?

What did Hae Joon do that was so wrong?

What horrible thing did he do to you...

that you show up after doing that to him?

Tell me. Tell me!

Your son...

is paying for the sins you people committed.

It's not like we killed your parents.

How could you do that and show up again?

How?

How?

Hae Joon...

liked you so much!

He almost died because of you.

But you did something like that to him.

If you trampled on his emotions...

and disappeared, you should've never come back!

How could you?

What are you here to do this time?

Why?

Mr. Koo, you need to do something.

Your mother went to the chief director's office...

The chief director's office?

Shouldn't we go in too?

What if Jennis does something to Mother?

Stay out of it.

What could she do to the chairman's wife?

What are you doing?

Get out!

- You can't go in. - Step aside.

- Hae Joon! - Mom.

Get out of my son's life right this instant.

Get out right this instant!

Mom.

Hae Joon. What is going on here?

How did you meet someone like her?

Why are you being put through this humiliation?

Yoo Jin.

Please leave.

You guys need to leave.

Hae Joon. Get rid of her.

Drag her out of here right now.

Let's go.

Why should we go? She should go.

I won't take a step.

I won't leave until you drag her out!

If you want to kick us out,

terminate the contract officially with Chairman Wang.

If you trespass and cause a scene like this ever again,

we will report you.

A powerful man has got your back, is that it?

What? You'll report the chairman's wife?

Let's go, Mom.

There's no one on earth...

as kind and nice as Hae Joon!

You'll pay for hurting him.

You'll pay for what you did!

Are you okay? Are you hurt?

I'm okay.

Have a seat.

What happened to you?

Mother, have some water.

She went to see Jennis and almost fainted.

What? Did you fight with her?

Get rid of her right now.

We're looking for evidence to, so wait.

You can't take her on.

You'll only get hurt if you try.

What is she here to do this time?

What is she up to? She gives me the chills.

We can't let her be.

We're coming up with a plan, so stay out of it...

and stay refined.

I hate the fact that she's anywhere near you.

I don't like it.

It frightens me too, Mother.

I'll be fine.

Don't worry too much.

How could I not? She's not your average girl.

You're not the average mom either.

That's right. Even if I have to risk my life,

I'll protect you.

Anyway, is the apron a fashion statement?

I ran over while making food for Carry.

Ms. Cho went to see Jennis?

I don't know what she was doing when she heard,

but she was wearing a coat over her apron.

I see.

It's infuriating that she's back at the company already,

but seeing Jennis...

sitting in her son's office probably made her lose it.

So?

She slapped Jennis hard across the face,

screamed at her to get out, demanding to know...

why she did that to her son, threw things at her...

I never saw Yoon Kyung lose her cool like that before.

Jennis really is amazing.

But that's nothing.

What mom would forgive a girl who framed her son...

for sexual assault?

If it were me, I would've beaten her half to death.

What's wrong? Do you feel sick?

No.

How did Jennis look?

Yoon Kyung was blowing a fuse,

but Jennis didn't even blink.

I've never seen someone so malicious.

She must take after her mom.

It's Mom.

I heard Cho Yoon Kyung went to see you.

Nothing happened.

She said to leave,

demanded to know why I did that to her son, and left.

I'm sorry.

I should be the one dealing with all of that.

You have your role, and I have mine.

This is what I must deal with.

Let's talk at home.

Yes?

I'm going to go now.

Make some time for me tomorrow.

Let's discuss the Jennis matter with Yoon Kyung.

Sure.

Hae Joon...

liked you so much!

He almost died because of you.

But you did something like that to him.

If you trampled on his emotions...

and disappeared, you should've never come back!

How could you?

What are you here to do this time?

Right?

Why must your son...

be punished for his parents' sins?

Eat.

Hey. When did you come here?

Did someone bring you?

What's your name?

Mi Yun came.

Who came?

Who came?

Mi Yun.

Who's Mi Yun?

My gosh. Ma'am. You can't be here.

Please leave.

Evil witch. She's my mom.

My mom bought me cookies.

Stop calling her your mom.

I'll lock the door if you keep doing this.

Get out. Go.

Mi Yun came.

Mi Yun came.

Who did she say came?

Mi Yun?

Are you positive?

Okay.

Ma'am.

Ms. Choi called.

Ms. Sul said to an old lady, "Mi Yun came."

Are you sure?

Did she really say,"Mi Yun"?

Yes.

Let's go right now.

Are you sure...

she said, "Mi Yun"?

Yes. I'm sure.

I heard it clearly twice.

"Mi Yun came." That's what she said.

Did she say anything else?

That caretaker threw such a fit,

I couldn't ask anything else.

What a waste.

You can't tell anyone else about this, okay?

Sure. Okay.

I guess my acting is pretty good.

I have everyone fooled.

Thank you.

Ma'am. You can go in now.

Mi Hyang.

Mi Hyang?

It's me, Mi Yun.

Mi Yun's here.

You know I'm here, right?

What's wrong?

I didn't do it.

I didn't do it.

I... I didn't do it.

Please forgive me.

Please forgive me.

Mi Hyang.

Please forgive me.

What didn't you do?

What are you asking for forgiveness for?

(Gracious Revenge)

Why did they put that here?

Did you really order this?

I heard this was for kids.

Ms. Sul spoke?

How many years has it been since you spoke?

We have to get her memory back before they move her elsewhere.

A bribe? I'm Hong Se Ra.

She used Chairman Wang to come back and get revenge.

Is this how you always work?

Use a man, do whatever it takes,

and go on a witch hunt to destroy someone?

I'm going to make J Group mine.

I'm going to take over this company.

What is your relationship with Chairman Wang?

You know that look in your eyes is cheating.
