Original subtitles

Those people have given TingYi a lot of pressure,

She's somewhat breathless.

After the second match,

She might use powerful attacks,

or entice you into her trap.

By then...

you have to...

Okay.

Oh right, does your hand hurt?

I will look for the first aid crew.

And speak of the devil, he's here now.

Let me take a look.

Thank you.

All the best.

All the best.

Don't allow anyone to

disrupt your momentum when you're on the competition ground.

The second round of battle.

starts now.

Ready!

Go!

BaiCao looks like she could see through TingYi's attack position.

The stances that she has been investigating,

is it already at this stage?

TingYi's attacks are so aggressive in the second round,

but why isn't she gaining points?

Maybe it's because of the fight a week ago,

that made Senior TingYi a bit more wary.

Even if she's attacking, there's still a bit of extra space.

She's not quite willing to be too open.

You mean,

TingYi is scared of BaiCao?

How is that possible?

Not necessarily scared.

I think it's more possible that she's shocked.

Don't you guys think that,

it's as if BaiCao could see through TingYi's plans?

Before TingYi kicks,

she's already readied.

When did you become so cowardly?

I remember in the past when you competed with me,

like a new born calf, you weren't scared of anything.

What happened to your atmosphere?

Your fighting is became stumbles.

It's not easy to fight me,

take out your real abilities!

Don't be a coward,

only knowing to hide and defend.

I know you're trying to make me attack.

You have your own tactics,

I also have mine.

Stop!

Second round finished.

The points are 2 to 0.

TingYi, what's going on?

Why aren't your points going up?

Is it because you haven't practised for a while? Did you retrogress?

Your condition now, how can you challenge EnXiu?

When the opponent is different,

the tactics become different.

The point of the competition,

is to see who wins in the end.

And not how many points there are.

She's right. TingYi,

we believe in your abilities.

But, you should help us too.

What we need is a brilliant competition.

In the third round, work hard!

Don't worry.

Here, BaiCao. Drink some, Replenish your energy.

What to do? What to do? TingYi is getting more and more aggressive.

BaiCao is still behind by two points.

But I can't pressure BaiCao, I don't know what I should say.

So frustrating.

So frustrating!

BaiCao's improvements are very big.

When she still hasn't officially competed with Senior TingYi, I didn't realise.

Now, it looks like...

they're more evenly matched.

TingYi is the most talented Yuan Wu Dao competitor in the nation,

also the national champion.

She also participated in so many international competitions.

BaiCao was always her defeated opponent.

How could they be evenly matched?

That's because BaiCao weren't allowed to participate in many competitions.

Did you forget?

Since last year,

all the competitions that BaiCao participated in,

she all got first place in them.

But the competitions were all low levels.

If BaiCao was given the same chances,

how could BaiCao be weak?

It's just that,

although TingYi was overseas,

but even if there were big competitions,

Coach would still let TingYi participate,

and not allow BaiCao participate.

It's a bit unfair.

How is that not fair?

TingYi is the strongest, of course TingYi should go.

Not necessarily.

Maybe today,

TingYi will lose to BaiCao.

What joke are you making?

TingYi losing to BaiCao?

Then I'll walk on my head!

You think that TingYi becoming the national winner,

only has that little ability?

BaiCao could see through TingYi's plans,

then TingYi could also see through BaiCao's plans.

I think, TingYi must have another idea.

Right, Lin Feng?

That's right.

BaiCao's improvements are really big,

but whether it's skills or experience,

BaiCao still doesn't have as much as TingYi.

If BaiCao saw through only Senior TingYi's stance,

but not attack,

then the most she could get is a tie.

Victory is in the last round.

You can also use it.

Use what? Use what?

Is it a secret attack?

Brother RuoBai, hurry and tell me.

You're not the one competing, why should he tell you?

Why are you everywhere?

Look,

this round, BaiCao isn't quite the same as before.

I also think it's a bit weird.

It's the last round already,

but BaiCao's strength looks as if it can't be used up.

On the contrary, she became more initiative.

She's rushing now, right?

It's already near the end, of course BaiCao would be rushing.

The more rushed she is, the more chance that there's a weak spot.

I thin TingYi might catch her weak spot,

and K.O. her.

You finally can't take it?

This is the best.

This time, I'll make you remember.

What belongs to me,

don't ever think to take it away.

Look, TingYi looks like she's about to...!

That's right. She guessed it.

Although Senior TingYi fought in surges,

but she showed her weak spot on purpose,

waiting for BaiCao to use her strongest move, double kick.

Then she can, in return,

return the attack to BaiCao with a critical hit.

That's TingYi for you.

BaiCao is losing for sure.

This height...!

This isn't double kick!

I've been waiting for this.

BaiCao!

It's now!

BaiCao!

BaiCao! Too great!

It's just a team match, nothing to be overly excited about.

It's not done yet.

BaiCao gets two points.

Can you continue?

I can.

There's only 20 seconds. TingYi is already in shock.

BaiCao is winning for sure.

Stop!

The competition ends here today.

The points are 2 to 2. Tie.

What?

Why?

That's not right.

It's not time's up yet.

Yeah, there's still time left.

Why did it end early?

All media friends, today's match ends here.

Those who wants individual interviews could come up.

After 15 minutes, we still have night practice.

I hope everyone could cooperate.

Thank you.

Coach Shen! What do you think about today's match results?

TingYi, are you too proud, so you regressed?-TingYi, do you have something on your mind?

Why were you in such a condition?

That's right, TingYi. You were a bit faulty today.

Every competition have a bit of small faults.

This is normal.-I kicked it!

I really kicked it!

I know.

BaiCao!

You're too good! That wasn't easy.

I really can't believe it.

BaiCao's triple kick was that good.

BaiCao, you're so good, you could kick out three times in the air continuously.

So good!-BaiCao, how did you do it? You jumped so high!

I underestimated you.

The long practices weren't wasted.

The hard times has been rewarded.

Brother RuoBai,

I still can't.

Other people can't, but you can.

Compared to other people, your jumps are higher by half a metre.

To defeat TingYi,

you must use up all your abilities.

Lets try with another way.

Brother RuoBai,

will this do?

Start.

I remembered.

The air triple kick just then, we should make a name for it.

Since it was made by BaiCao,

then we should call it BaiCao triple kick.

How is it?

Not good, not good.

It's too bad.-Then what's good?

BaiCao Flying Kick.

Tornado BaiCao Continuous Kick.

Tornado Triple Kick!

That one is good.-That's good.

Tornado Triple Kick.

How is it?-That one is very atmospheric, also easy to say.

Look who made it up.

Looks like you're still a bit useful.

If Coach Shen didn't suddenly yell stop,

relying on our BaiCao's Tornado Triple kick,

it definitely wouldn't have been a tie.

Don't be too arrogant, okay?

I think no matter if Coach Shen yelled out stop or not, BaiCao won't have the chance to defeat TingYi.

Today, TingYi's victory was definite, okay?

Didn't you see how strong our BaiCao was just then?

Qi BaiCao.

Your secret weapon, was this

Tornado Triple Kick, is it?

Your ears are good, you could hear that far.

It wasn't easy to learn that kind of skill,

but you dragged it on until the third round to use it.

Are you that scared of me?

Scared that if you used it in the first round, I would unravel it,

and then defeat you pitifully, right?

You really did improve,

knowing how to use small skills.-I...

Only the people who simultaneously has the skill and brains,

can be the real king of Yuan Wu Dao.

You thought that getting two points with those small skills,

would really get you victory?

BaiCao used her real abilities just then,

the points were not gotten by luck. Moreover,

no matter which round she took out her kicks in,

that's her choice. This is called tactics, okay?

Tactics.

Looks like your efforts were wasted.

Not only did you waste your efforts on competitions,

after competitions finished, you found a spokesperson.

But that's right too.

If you didn't take short cuts,

you wouldn't have had the chance to get points.

Looks like the results now are quite good.

In the past,

you couldn't even get a point.

At least now you got a couple.

Shouldn't I congratulate you?

TingYi.

You should be the one to be congratulated, right?

If Coach Shen didn't yell stop, and BaiCao won

in front of so many people,

then Senior TingYi, wouldn't you lose your reputation?

Exactly, exactly. I see that Coach Shen is biased to Senior TingYi.

What rubbish are you all saying?

I have to announce something.

Fang TingYi.

Qi BaiCao.

Today's competition, neither of you won or lost.

Maybe in a month,

I'll give you two a chance.

A chance to let you take out your abilities and compete again.

The results then,

would determine the person who would represent us in the City Youth Competition.

The City Youth Competition has a long history of competes, the whole name is

Yuan Wu Dao International City Youth Invitation Competition.

Many cities are invited every year.

Almost all Yuan Wu Dao Masters and Main Masters

have participated once.

So it's also called the Yuan Wu Dao's

Topmost Masters' newbie competition.

Newbie competition?

That's right.

All interviewers,

to prepare for the City Youth Competition,

Korea's ChangHai Institute is holding an international training camp,

at that time, there will be contestants from all over the world,

also the best teachers as coaches.

Of course,

our AnYang was also invited.

As the funder of the international training camp,

I invite everyone to attend.

We can also go to Korea?

That's great! If we can go, does that mean everyone can go?

Yes. Everyone has the chance.

Fang Family Enterprise agreed to provide this chance.

I will be going over the final list.

But if, in this semester,

you fail one of your subjects,

you won't be able to attend.

Okay, rest for five minutes now.

And then we'll practise.

Coach Shen.

What's the matter?

The competition just then,

why did you you call stop at the key moment?

Coach Shen.

What's the matter?

The competition just then,

why did you you call stop at the key moment?

Is it because TingYi's grandpa was once your Master,

so you're biased to her?

You're really courageous.

That's right.

TingYi's grandpa is my dear Master,

so I am extra careful of her.

TingYi's results and performance

are also worth being cared for.

What wrong about that?

If that takes away the chance of a fair match for other teammates,

then that's not right.

RuoBai, in this world,

there's no definite fairness.

Like that match just then.

Without it lasting to the very last second,

could you definitely say that BaiCao will win?

If I didn't remember wrong,

that year in the SongBai's

institute challenge match, BaiCao kept winning.

But in the end, you still didn't choose her.

What did you think?

It's proven that I was wrong that time.

After that, BaiCao kept winning and got into the semi-finals.

It exceeded everyone's imaginations.

Although TingYi has been the national champion for these past years,

but recently,

her best has been fourth place in the international competitions.

If she participates in the City Youth Competition,

it's impossible for any bigger achievements.

If BaiCao participates, would there be any big achievements?

In case she gets out in the first round,

it would still be a really big shock.

Coach Shen.

BaiCao has the abilities.

Her power, her speed,

her jumps, her reactions,

including the triple kick this time,

So far, in the nation, apart from her,

who else would be able to do it?

I already said.

Maybe in a month, I will give BaiCao a chance.

If by then, she could defeat TingYi,

the chance for the City Youth Competition,

I'll leave it to her.

What do you mean 'maybe'?

In the Korean training base last year,

TingYi got Best Competitor.

If this time, BaiCao could also get Best Competitor,

then she will have

the right condition for the last battle with TingYi.

If she can't get Best Competitor,

then she won't be able to compete with TingYi again.

What?

You still think it's not fair?

Are you worried that,

BaiCao won't be able to get Best Competitor?

No.

BaiCao will definitely get it.

Coach Shen.

I hope you can keep your promise.

Don't worry.

Fan XiaoYing!

Where are you going?

You're about to take the last semester exam.

You're still thinking of going out to play.

Last semester, you already had to retake the exam for one subject.

You're thinking of failing how many subjects this semester?!

Come here, come! Sit down!

XiaoYing, XiaoYing...

Do you think that it's easy for me and Dad

to work for your university entrance?

What are you doing from morning 'till night everyday?

Look at BaiCao, her grades are better than you,

Yuan Wu Dao is also better than you.

You're together with her everyday, but can't you learn something good from her?

You're already so big already,

in the future, you-what are you going to do?

What's the big deal?

Your daughter, I, am pretty.

Everyone loves me when they see me, all flowers bloom when they see me.

In this generation, beauty is the most important.

As they say, "Rely on your parents as home, rely on washing your face outside".

Washing face? I'll tell you to wash.

Wash again!

Anyway, I'll telling you,

if you fail again this semester,

don't even think of going anywhere in the summer holidays. Stay home and learn properly!

I already heard.

This year, Korea's ChangHai Institute is holding a summer camp.

Your training base have quite a few empty spaces for it.

When the time comes, all of them will be playing in Korea,

you'll be waiting alone to attend tutoring.

Wait.-What?

Next week, I'm going to be examined in maths.

But which time did my maths ever pass?

Moreover, when do university students ever get tutored?

Tutoring? You can't attend it?

If you can't attend tutoring, then go attend the complex class.

If you can't, I'll take you to excavate.

At least you would have something to do in the future.

Mum, mum!

Mum what mum?

I'm telling you, stay in home seriously. Don't run away.

Muuuuum~

A broken me,

how would I ever love a broken exam?

Take a look yourself.

What did you become?

What have you been doing these past two years overseas?

Apart from that Yu young man going everywhere,

buying clothes, going on the TV, what else have you been doing?

In your heart, you don't even have a bit of Yuan Wu Dao spirit.

I've already seen through it.

Just

give up Yuan Wu Dao.

And be that rich princess that you are.

Grandpa! It's not like that, grandpa.

Don't call me grandpa.

In my XianWu Institute,

there's no heir like you who doesn't have any winning spirit.

Grandpa, I understand.

I did indeed waste a lot of practice time.

I didn't win this match either.

I'm upset too.

Even the team match...

We still need to rely on Ning to stop the match,

to ensure you a tie.

Ning doesn't even give the old man face.

You want to become a joke?

How are you going to participate in the City Youth Competition?

Look at Korea's EnXiu.

What's their attitude towards training, what's yours?

Last month,

I went to ChangHai Institute.

I saw that EnXiu girl.

She's young.

Whether it's logic, reaction or leg skills,

they're all at master level.

After your mother's accident,

grandpa put all of his hopes on you.

Especially you. You were obedient since young.

You're not only your grandpa's hopes, you were also your mum's.

If your mum was still awake...

Grandpa, I know I'm wrong.

Every competition,

it's not for our own glory.

It's for the nation's glory.

Your mum was that tiny bit away,

that tiny bit...

So unfortunate.

Your mum couldn't...

I hope you

could continue it.

And continue to get a bigger glory for the nation.

I will, Grandpa.

From now on,

you won't be able to leave XianWu Institute for a month.

With your brother, you will do shut-in training.

All the other distractions,

forget it all!

Do you understand?

I understand.

Also, you're not allowed to sneak out

to meet with the boy named Yu, understand?

But grandfather, me and him...-Do you hear?!

I heard...

Also, that girl Qi BaiCao,

you must be mindful of her.

She might be your strongest opponent in the nation,

do you understand?-Yes.

My girl superhero!

Have some drinks first.

Why are you working?

Didn't they say, they're going to play the training base's match on the news today.

Your Tornado Triple Kick is going on TV!

What a historical moment.

It's not as exaggerated.

I have to see,

the embarrassed look of TingYi's face.

You heard what she said today,

it was obviously because of your Tornado Triple Kick that she couldn't even get up from the competition mat.

And she said something like, hiding and only using it in the third round.

As if we did something wrong.

When she said that, why didn't you talk back?

Actually, she was not wrong.

If I used that move straight away in the first round,

maybe in the third round, she would've already figured out a way to block it.

You mean,

that the previous two rounds, you didn't attack on purpose?

The score of the two previous rounds couldn't continue being in stalemate.

With so many reporters around, TingYi would have become impatient.

So, when I kick in the third round,

she will attack with impatience.

Using the triple like that would be easier.

You thought of a tactic like that?

It wasn't me, Brother RuoBai taught me.

Oh my! My Brother RuoBai rules!

That's why. With your character, to be able to be so calm

and let TingYi taunt and allure you,

you still didn't attack.

That's right, why isn't Brother RuoBai out yet?

It's about to begin.

It's starting, lets go, lets go.

Yuan Wu Dao City Youth competition will begin soon,

how's the preparation going? The following is the report.

What's going on? Why is it all her?

Didn't they say to play the match?

TingYi, towards the following City Youth Competition...-What's going on?

Of course I have.

Good luck. We believe in you, you can succeed.

I'll work hard. Thank you, everyone.

Thank what? This is too shameless.

Did you see?

This is the difference between you two.

According to your abilities now, you won't be able to affect TingYi's reputation.

You have to keep working hard.

Using every next chance to win,

so that no one can overlook you.
