Eternal Love Rain

Episode 3

Lin Lin,

I'll report to the imperial court first.

Father, don't lose your manners

and make a fool of yourself.

Don't worry.

Listen. I'll give you money.

Just put me down.

Just put me down. Hurry up. I'll give you...

Help! Help!

What's going on?

Young lady, there are kidnappers.

-Go this way. -Brothers, help me!

They're murderers! Help me!

Help!

Why did they kidnap you?

They are...

They are traffickers.

They were trafficking you?

Yes.

This world is too dangerous.

Hey.

Hey.

My name is Li Qi,

may I know what is your name?

I will definitely visit you

so that we can learn from each other.

Your martial skills

really opened my eyes today.

I wonder

who is your master?

Don't tell anyone

about what happened today.

Don't worry, miss.

I will never tell anyone what happened today.

If I lie, I'll be struck by lightning.

Keep your voice down.

Miss, why don't we tell each other our names?

So that we can look out for each other in Shengjing.

You don't have to know my name.

Isn't this the daughter of General Tang,

Miss Tang Lin Lin?

Aunt.

I heard that you'd come back today long time ago.

Is everything still the same back there?

Yin Yin,

how are your parents doing recently?

They're doing very well.

They couldn't stop complimenting you whenever they mentioned you.

I just got here today,

I'll definitely visit them soon.

Yin Yin, you haven't changed at all.

I wonder if you've finished that dragon embroidery back then.

Do you need my help?

Of course not.

I wonder

if your embroidery skills have improved recently?

Aunt, look. This is my work.

Please take a look.

This peony is really graceful and splendid.

Aunt, please give me some advice.

This way.

It's such a nice embroidery.

Xiao Ru,

you must be tired. Let's go home.

Young Lady, won't it seem not good

if we leave like this?

Why should we stay here?

I've been taught to be thoughtful like Tang Lin Lin since I was young.

But I only focus on making money for our family,

aren't I humiliating myself if I compare my work with her?

That makes sense.

But

she is indeed the role model of the ladies out there.

Then stay here with her.

Young Lady.

Young Lady, I was wrong.

Young Lady, wait for me.

Young Lady, please wait for me.

Su Residence

Search carefully!

House of Blessing

Stop searching!

-Search over there. -Don't search inside.

Officer!

-Stop searching! -Did you search here?

I beg you, please!

-Stop, stop... -Mother,

-what is going on? -Yin Yin.

They said your father seized tributes and sold them.

He's been locked up in Supreme Court and suspended for investigation.

They even said the stolen goods might be in our house.

Our property will be confiscated for investigation.

My dear,

your father has always been clean,

even his salary is not enough for us,

how can he have anything to do with seizing and selling tributes?

Who should I complain this to?

Go over there.

Mother, wait for me.

The few of you, go help out over there.

Mo Cheng Feng, why are you here?

-Search carefully. -Yes!

As the Chief Deputy of Supreme Court,

I've been ordered to investigate this case.

Mo Cheng Feng,

I want to know what crime my father committed.

Su Bin Quan took advantage of his position

and seized national treasure,

"Green Dragon Returning to the Sea" painted by Zhang You Lan.

He deliberately ruined diplomatic relations between two countries.

Mo Cheng Feng,

we grew up together.

You know my father very well.

There must be a misunderstanding.

You will definitely help me, won't you?

Since you rejected me that day,

we've made a clean break.

Today, I was only ordered to investigate the case.

Miss Su, please don't obstruct the government administration.

Yin Yin,

unless you beg me now and accept our engagement.

As long you marry me,

I will definitely beg my father to help you.

Mo Cheng Feng.

It's a matter of life and death,

how can you take it lightly?

Go home and be your daddy's boy!

I will save my father, I don't need your sympathy.

Fine.

Search.

Search carefully.

If you dare to miss anything,

-you're the one to blame! -Yes!

Sir.

Mr Mo.

The evidence has been found in Su Residence.

The case of Su Bin Quan destroying national treasure is conclusive.

Starting from today,

people from Su Residence are not allowed to leave the capital.

You have to cooperate for the investigation at any time.

If you dare to leave Shengjing,

you'll be punished for absconding for fear of punishment.

Mo Cheng Feng, what is your evidence?

"Green Dragon Returning to the Sea"

is a sole painting in this world.

Even its drawing paper is made by smoking sandalwood.

Even if it was burnt to ashes,

its smell and colour

are different from an ordinary paper.

No doubt,

this ashes is "Green Dragon Returning to the Sea".

Mo Cheng Feng, even with this,

you can't prove that my father is the thief.

We all know that he offended the emperor and was punished to submit his salaries.

He might've ruined the national treasure due to his grudges against the emperor.

Madam! Madam, what's the matter? Madam.

Mother!

Young Lady.

Mother, wake up! Mother.

-Let's go and report to the court. -What should we do, Young Lady?

Leave!

Madam.

Xiao Ru,

hurry up and take my mother to our house in the suburbs.

Young Lady, what about you?

I want to stay here to find out the truth

and rescue my father.

But Young Lady,

Su Residence has been seized. Where can you stay?

I have many friends in Shengjing,

I'll find a place to stay.

Don't worry about me.

Li Residence

Anyone home? Anyone home?

Coming.

Is your young lady home?

And you are...

I am Su Yin Yin.

-Hold on. I'll inform them. -Thank you.

She has left for Suzhou with my master this morning.

She will be away for a few days.

So sudden?

Not here.

Wang Residence

Xia Residence

Hey, you!

I haven't even told you what happened and you closed the door right in my face.

Oh, these people.

They seemed so affectionate when they were bootlicking me.

And now they wouldn't even see me.

It's such a cold hard world.

This can't be.

Su Yin Yin, you're the Chosen One.

You will find a place to stay and save your father.

I have to think of a solution.

But why do Zhang You Lan and "Green Dragon Returning to the Sea"

sound so familiar?

"Green Dragon Returning to the Sea, Zhang You Lan"

Since it is a sole product,

why would two same paintings

show up at two places?

Calm down, calm down.

No matter how hard it is, I have to get to the bottom of it.

Supreme Court

Su.

Greetings, Mr Luo.

Su Bin Quan,

do you know what's your crime?

Mr Luo,

Inmate

I was diligent in organising the Crown Prince's coming-of-age ceremony,

not even the slightest mistake was allowed,

what crime did I commit?

You destroyed "Green Dragon Returning to the Sea".

The imperial court couldn't fulfil its promise with foreign country.

Is that not a crime?

He who has a mind to beat a dog will easily find a stick.

Mr Mo,

are my wife and Yin Yin doing fine?

Your family has moved out from the residence.

Mr Mo,

Yin Yin and you have been close,

please take good care of her.

Su Bin Quan,

you're at the court.

Stop changing topics and talking about your family!

Mr Luo,

this matter really has nothing to do with me.

Please look further into this matter.

Since you refused to plead guilty,

you will be locked up in the jail

and be sentenced on another day.

Let me go. I can walk on my own.

No way,

he definitely won't take me in.

I guess I can only find Lin Lin.

But Father said, we have to look decent even when we're in distress.

I have to go home and get changed before meeting Lin Lin.

Why does our house

seem so frightening at night?

Master!

Master.

Master, I saw a ghost.

You are an educated man.

Why would you say this kind of nonsense?

Besides,

you aren't capable to see ghost yet.

No, no, I really saw a ghost.

It's a female ghost. She died by hanging at the door of Su Residence.

I was terrified.

The door of Su Residence?

It's killing me.

I can't do this any more. I need a break.

Help!

Master.

Master, don't leave me alone.

I'm scared, Master.

I knew you'd come.

Does she really have the Inverted Dragon's Scale?

Why would I be there

every time she's in danger?

Su Yin Yin,

who exactly are you?

What do you have to do with Jin'er?

Jin'er, stop crying.

Jin'er, keep this properly.

It can save the villagers for you.

Inverted Dragon's Scale? Isn't it very precious to you?

That's why I told you to protect it.

Otherwise, if my father finds out,

I will be a dead meat.

Thank you, Little Dragon.

Jin'er, you are my friend.

I trust you.

Place the Inverted Dragon's Scale on the highest ground of the village.

The locusts will go away. They won't come near the village again.

After that,

just return it to me.

Wait for me.

After I save them,

I'll return it to you in one piece.

Thrive to Success

Inverted Dragon's Scale is the most precious symbol of the Dragon Tribe.

Only one dragon has it in tens of thousands of years.

But if the owner's heart is not in the right place,

disasters will grow from the Inverted Dragon's Scale.

You must protect it very well,

especially from the humans.

They are devious by nature.

You must not let Inverted Dragon's Scale fall into their hands.

Come here, Rui'er.

Father.

Hurry up.

Father!

Father!

Jin'er, come out quick!

Give me back the Inverted Dragon's Scale!

I want to go home!

Father.

Father!
