Are you all right, Young Miss?

Lee Seon, how did you know to come here?

I came here for you. Please wait a little longer.

I will get you out of here.

Lee Seon, you need to help the Crown Prince before me.

Help... who?

He got caught by Dae Mok when he came to save me.

Lee Seon, is there any way to save the Crown Prince...

Have you already forgotten that the Crown Prince killed Elder Gyu Ho?

Why would we save the person who killed your father?

The Crown Prince is your enemy, Young Miss.

He did not kill my father.

The person who killed my father is someone named Chung Woon.

It wasn't the Crown Prince.

Lee Seon, I have to save him.

Please help me.

I... I understand.

Trust me.

Please wait a moment.

[Episode 30] Dowager Queen.

The King is here to see you.

Dowager Queen, Dae Mok has kidnapped Court Lady Han.

What did you say?

Your Majesty, I have been afraid of Dae Mok all this time.

So, I did everything he asked for.

But now he has kidnapped my woman.

I cannot hold back this time.

He is treating me with such disdain. What am I to do?

What did I say?

Why didn't you join forces with your mother earlier?

Do not worry too much, King.

Your mother will do whatever it takes.

I will rescue that girl from Dae Mok.

You are too kind, Your Majesty.

I will only rely on you and follow you, Your Majesty.

You have made the right decision.

All government officials, listen up.

The Dowager Queen has made a decision through the first, second

and lastly the third round of the marriage selection process.

The daughter of the Minister of the Right Choi Yeon Joo was chosen to be Queen.

I have determined that she is suitable to be the Queen.

I want everyone to know of this news and choose a lucky day to wed.

Prepare for a celebration.

Congratulations, Minister of the Right.

You will be a Queen's father soon.

Thank you.

Congratulations, Minister!

Thank you.

I suppose it is a relief.

No one from the Pyeonsoo-hwe will become the Queen.

I heard you have not eaten anything.

The initiation is tomorrow.

You cannot lose strength now.

About my friend, Chung Woon...

Do you have news of him?

I know he is locked up somewhere.

I do not know where.

What about his eyes?

He is likely blind.

Many things will change tomorrow after the initiation.

No matter what I have to do

I will get you the antidote.

I usually never...

give chances to one who betrays me.

If someone betrays the Pyeonsoo-hwe, even if it is my granddaughter...

I will not forgive them.

Think about that on your own.

What is truly the best thing for your owner?

I have found a place they might be holding the antidote.

Really? Where?

Would you like to go now?

The initiation ceremony is tomorrow. We need the antidote as soon as possible.

If we leave now, we can return by tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow afternoon. The initiation ceremony is...

I heard it is not starting until near midnight.

You will not be late.

All right, let's go then.

This is a deadly flower pill.

You need it once every mid-month.

If you do not take this by the time the moon rises...

you will feel like your heart is tearing apart and then die.

Finally, we are having an initiation for the real Crown Prince.

Drink it.

Don't do it!

Are you going to drink that and become a loyal dog to these people?

Please... do not drink it.

If it's for my sake, do not drink it.

What have you got to do with me at all?

My father died because of you.

I will resent you and hate you forever!

Because of me...

you lost your father and I am sorry for that.

Ga Eun.

Make me a promise.

If I drink this...

you will let Ga Eun go.

I promise you.

No...

No, Young Master.

No, Your Highness!

I know it was not you who killed my father.

So, please...

Please do not drink that because of me.

Unless you wish to see that girl die first

drink that deadly flower tonic.

Your Highness, please...

Tell me your real name.

I am...

the Crown Prince of Joseon.

Lee Seon...

Blood...

Especially for you...

I put in three deadly flower pills.

One deadly flower pill gets a person addicted to them.

With three, no one can survive it.

Dae Mok!

From the beginning...

you planned to kill me.

Do I seem like a monster to you?

No, I am just living in this hellish world.

I am only a regular person facing the world head-on.

This nation shoves its people into a bottomless pit of despair.

It created a monster like me.

No!

No!

Young Master, please focus.

Young Master.

No, this can't be.

No... no.

From... from the first time I saw you...

I...

tr...truly...

loved you.

No.

Young Master.

Oh, Young Master!

Young Master!

Young Master!

No!

Young Master!

Let me go.

Young Master!

Hwa Goon, where have you been?

The Crown Prince's initiation is already over.

What? That cannot be. subtitles ripped and synced by riri13

I was told it was starting near midnight.

Father, what happened to the Crown Prince?

Where is he?

He has not been seen since the initiation ended.

Gon.

Are you still...

my person?

I asked you...

are you still my person?

I...

am your person.

So how dare you!

You lied to me?

If I did not...

I was told you would get hurt.

Is that what Grandfather said?

Yes.

Did Grandfather...

kill the Crown Prince?

He probably has.

Find the Crown Prince at once.

Find him this instant!

If you cannot find him...

I will kill you.

Congratulations, Minister.

You must be so full of joy.

Congratulations.

Minister of the Right, I heard that a wedding date has been chosen.

Soon, we will be in-laws.

Your Majesty.

Please look upon my daughter with favor.

Has he not returned yet?

Not yet.

Why did you not inform me beforehand?

I should've had a chance to stop him.

He would not have listened even if you tried.

Where are you going?

Minister and Officer of Government Administration.

Come forward.

The two of you worked hard in this marriage selection.

I will pour you a drink as a sign of appreciation.

It seems you took my warning to heart, Minister.

You have become a loyal subject to the nation.

Do not make any more moves.

I do not want you to get hurt.

Remember my warning.

What is the meaning of this?

It seems you are very drunk.

- Wipe it up now! - Yes, Your Majesty.

You rascal!

How dare you spill a drink from the King!

Are you insane?

Minister.

It was not me. You spilled it.

You spilled the drink from the King.

Me? Was it really me?

Oh! Your Majesty.

I deserve to die.

Forget it.

This is a day of celebration and it was a drink of appreciation.

There is no need for punishment.

However, I do not wish to see either of you today.

Please pour me one more.

- Let's go for now. - I deserve to die.

- Let's go. - I should just die.

No, no, no. Let us go.

When can I drink?

We can drink together? Please come.

The feast is far from over. Why are you coming out already?

That is what I am saying.

The minister got drunk and...

I think it would be best not to go in there.

Is something going on?

I have a bad feeling.

Your Majesty, is it not a very joyful day?

I would like to pour you a drink.

That would be lovely.

I would like to pour a drink to my soon-to-be father-in-law.

Today is a very happy day.

I would like to give you all a drink from me.

You are very benevolent, Your Majesty.

Let us drink.

Elder Dae Mok is entering.

Why are you here without any notice?

What brings you here, Dae Mok?

I had something to inform you of, so I came here myself.

Please save me.

I will not betray the Pyeonsoo-hwe ever again.

Please save me, Elder Dae Mok.

You have all drunk deadly flower alcohol.

If you do not take a deadly flower pill that I give you every mid-month...

you will end up dying.

You! How dare you!

Eunuch!

Yes, Your Majesty.

Her Majesty does not seem to befeeling very well.

Take her back to her residence now!

Yes, Your Majesty.

Dae Mok!

Bring Dae Mok to me!

I will not forgive you.

I will never forgive you.

Your Majesty.

I will not forgive you.

Do you want to take that girl out of here?

If you do...

I need you to do something.

Now, you are truly real.

I have an announcement for all the government officials.

It is against the law to try and gain advantage through your maternal family.

The Dowager Queen used her power to make her niece Queen.

Therefore, she must be punished.

The Dowager Queen will be confined to her palace.

Chief of Yangsucheong.

Yes, Your Majesty!

I will appoint you as a level two commissioner.

Conduct those duties along with those at Yangsucheong.

Manage the rights to minting money.

Thank you for your benevolence, Your Majesty.

That cannot happen, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty!

If you give the Yangsucheong the right to mint money

it is no different than allowing counterfeit money to be circulated.

He is correct, Your Majesty.

Please reconsider the matter.

- Reconsider the matter. - Reconsider the matter.

Minister of Government Administration.

Are you going against my command?

Your Majesty!

They are disrespecting you.

You must punish those who scorn you.

You must rebuild this nation on a proper foundation.

Minister of Government Administration and Head Prosecutor.

Officer of Government Administration, listen up.

For your punishment of scorn toward the King

you ought to be exiled.

I will show mercy to you.

I will remove you from office instead of punishing you.

Do not think of entering the palace again.

Overnight, the Dowager Queen's power has been destroyed.

It has become Dae Mok's world.

The balance of power is gone.

There will be blood in the wind soon.

We need to make a plan.

What happened to the Crown Prince?

We will not... be able to meet him any longer.

Hope... is gone forever.

I am here for you, Young Miss.

Let's return to the palace together.

Lee Seon, what about the Young Master?

What happened to him?

He is alive... right?

He passed away.

I could not save the Crown Prince.

I am sorry for that, Young Miss.

The Dowager Queen has lost all her power as well.

Now, it is truly the Pyeonsoo-hwe's world.

However, do not worry.

I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe.

Young Master...

is really dead?

Yes.

He can't be.

No...

I still... I still have so much left to say to him.

[Ruler: Master of the Mask]

Search thoroughly and catch him.

It is Dae Mok's world now.

You must know very well how the world has changed.

It must be something only I can do.

He has started to act like a real King.

You will receive a royal concubine's hair ornament soon.

Lee Seon, do not do a thing.

I will take something too.

I must take after you, after all.

I have a debt to settle with someone.
