What's up?
My name is At Shenandoah.
...1 play Dr. Freeman
...on BBC America's Copper.
Welcome to Lifeline Studios in Toronto.
I'm Tony lanai, I'm production designer,
and we're going to take a quick tour of Dr. Freeman's.
Dr. Freeman's office.
-Tony designed it. -Like you said, state of the art.
State of the art, 1865.
Some of these instruments here, I still don't know what they are.
What is the use of this instrument?
Dr. Freeman doesn't mess around.
You're also a scientist, too.
I'm also a scientist. -Forensic scientist.
Yeah, a little bit of jack of all trades.
So I've got a little bit of everything here.
Grab your bag, Freeman, time to work some magic.
One of my favorite things is over there though.
What is great ...about production design
is this is all like... really cool looking stuff.
-It makes it feel real. -Right, so I don't have to act.
My favorite right here is the clematis.
It promotes daydreaming and floating consciousness.
Open the drawers and there's stuff in here.
There's stuff that I have written.
And then I read it and I go, "My God, did I write that?"
This is where people come to sit and get examined.
Now you just rest now.
And...
...stirrups.
Dr. Freeman and Sara actually had sex in this place.
And it was hot! It was hot. See, it was hot.
I mean, after the scene I was like, "That was pretty hot.๏ฟฝ
I... Yeah, you know. So that's cool.
I used to want to be a doctor when I was a kid...
...because my aunts and uncles who were doctors...
...drove Mercedes and they drove Cadillacs.
-Yes. -But then I figured out...
...that being a doctor is very hard.
-So you became an actor. -So I became an actor.
This does not follow my schedule.
Everything here is just so authentically beautiful...
...and the attention to detail that everybody has paid here...
...has been amazing.
They acted like it was so hard.
