Previously on "The Outpost" ...

I am Yavalla, prophetess of the Blackbloods.

The submission of humans in the Outpost has come to an end.

This human is dead.

Talon passed you an elixir of the sleeping death when he kissed you.

You'll have to wait down here and recover in hiding.

You must go to Aegisford. Raise an army.

The road to paradise is somewhere place of the Outpost.

- The kinj. - This is what will set us all free.

There is.

Do not do it! Let go!

Garret Spears is still alive.

-Yes. - We must find him.

Yes, High Priestess.

- So... - Hmm?

I have the feeling that you like this Blackblood girl.

Wren? What is not do you like her?

She has everything you have. She is, um, brave and beautiful.

And strong in character, but it's also smart.

- Hears. - It's not that you're not smart.

You are very smart. You are street smart

but she's more, you know, hmm, clever Janzo.

My queen.

Rest. No need to be ceremonious.

Please keep celebrating your new freedom.

Gods, I'm glad to see you both.

Janzo, a pint of your best beer.

- Yes your Majesty. - Isn't life wonderful?

It is definitely better, but it is far from wonderful.

Janzo, don't be so negative.

- You know, you should be proud. - Proud of what?

Well the Priestess says that if it weren't for you two,

I couldn't spread all this beautiful peace that he has been bringing to our people.

Gwynn, are you okay?

Yes because?

It's just that you don't look like yourself.

- Your Majesty, um ... - Mm?

Are you sure you haven't been drinking something already?

Maybe using some herbs?

Not because?

You look a little ... intoxicated.

I'm intoxicated, Janzo.

I am intoxicated with life!

Look. Look at the wonderful friends I have.

Talon, can I talk to you a moment alone?

Of course.

All good?

I told you, it couldn't be better.

I was thinking that now that we are at peace,

Garret could come out from his hiding place.

I don't think it's a good idea.

I mean, the Black Fist still sees it as a threat.

They will want him dead.

Mm. Well then I want to go see him.

- Where is the? - You are safe.

- Talon, you don't trust me? - Yes of course.

Then tell me, Where is garret spears?

Then tell me, Where is garret spears?

If you go with him, you must have be careful they don't follow you.

Of course. Where is the?

Of course. Where is the?

It's in the sewers

where the lady used to have your colipsum farm.

Do you know where that is?

-Yes. - I know where that is.

THE OUTPOST (The Outpost) - Translated by JMMateo -

I'm glad you're safe.

And you too, nephew.

Thanks, Aunt Gertie.

Um, but I have bad news.

What's up, Munt?

I'm sorry to tell you, but you sister has passed away.

She died like a hero in my arms

stabbed during battle.

I brought you her pipe as a souvenir.

I'm sorry for your loss, nephew.

You can keep that. I do not smoke.

Tobin, you must tell me everything has passed at the Outpost

- since I've been here in Aegisford. - No time for that.

All you need to know is that Rosmund and the Outpost

have been taken hostage by the Blackbloods.

- Oh jesus. - I've come to rally my army.

Well that's going to be difficult.

Most of your men died or were injured

fighting the First Order.

Your army is almost completely exhausted.

- How many do we have? - Maybe a hundred.

- You were supposed to be rebuilding. - I tried.

I recruited the few women ready to fight.

Beyond them, everything that remain are old and children.

Does that mean we can't go back and save everyone?

Oh shut up, Munt.

You know sometimes you sound like your sister.

Why do not you go to eat something, big guy?

- Over there. -Yes.

Tell them that I am with you.

Yes.

Could eat.

- Tobin. - Falista.

- What are you doing? - Nothing.

Falista found out that you were at home and begged to see you.

I did. I begged.

And what about Lord Relman, your husband?

Died. He was an old man.

As you can see, he has inherited all the Lord Relman's wealth and lands.

Oh and now it's free marry again.

- Indeed. - Gertrusha, I'm engaged.

I understand you were unsuccessful in his quest to marry the queen.

It's just been delayed.

Well now I'm back in your life, Tobin.

I've known you since we were kids.

You will change your mind.

Do you remember that?

- I was thinking. - Mm-hmm? About what?

Well, Mother talks about humans and the Blackbloods live together in peace.

- Mm. - So both species will interact

- much more closely. -Yes.

So I was wondering if there were any

biological, epidemiological problem or chemical with that.

I'm not sure I'm following you.

Well, humans and Blackbloods have never cohabited

for no time, you know, that i know.

What if they have a reaction physiological between them?

Hm. I've been close to talon for quite some time.

There is no reaction. Also, the Blackbloods and humans are almost identical species.

- Well, our ears are different. - Mm, and your blood too.

And obviously the ones that have kinjes are different,

but then they are different for everyone, isn't it?

So, the point is that those are the only differences.

They are? I mean, Is our interior the same?

Do we have the same organs?

Mm, more or less exactly.

The same... brain, heart, liver,

kidney, stomach, intestine.

What about the organs reproductive? They are the same?

Yeah, um, yeah, I think so.

I wonder, scientifically speaking, of course,

What if, say, a human male

and a female Blackblood were to ...?

I do not know. I mean, I know what do you mean, just

I do not know the answer, scientifically speaking.

Good.

I kissed Talon once. It's a Blackblood.

So far it went. There were no adverse effects.

I mean i don't think to kiss me

with the intention that it was beyond that you know

I'm going to stop talking now.

You are cute when you get nervous.

Nervous? I'm not ner ... Me nervous?

I'm not nervous. Are you nervous?

Why should you be nervous?

Yes, it's time to refill.

Can you give me a moment?

Enters.

- I've been thinking. - That's always dangerous.

You came back to get a army to save Rosmund,

but you don't have any army.

And here is the important thing,

Falista has a large intact army within range of the Outpost.

- How big? - At least 2,000 troops.

I can only guess what you want in exchange for lending me that army.

Oh you ... you can be sure that he will not lend it to you.

You will want to merge it with yours as one.

As is the norm when, um, two nobles get married.

Do you want me to marry Falista?

You were the one who wanted me to I will marry the queen.

Yes, you're right, it did.

But I don't see any scenery in that that can happen now.

We take the best option before us, Tobin.

This is not just an agreement business for me, Gertrusha.

I love Rosmund. I will not do it.

Would it be so bad?

Not long ago that Falista he was the love of your life.

Falista was the love of my childhood.

Rosmund is the love of my life.

Gwynn is really not acting like herself.

I would like you to leave me go talk to her.

Would tell me things that I would tell no one else.

No. The Black Fist would kill you at first sight.

Why? If things are so calm up there as you say.

Mm?

You were executed for killing to one of their own.

If you show up alive, sure that this time they will kill you.

Oh, let them try.

Come on, Garret.

Even if you could move on to the Black Fist,

his Lu-Qiri would kill you.

Besides, I prefer you alive.

Since when?

Since I found out good that you are kissing.

- What do you want? - Yavalla wants to meet your human friend.

How do you know I'm alive?

Yavalla knows everything.

Now come in peace

and no one will get hurt.

- What do you want? - Welcome to the Unit.

Yes, I don't know what that means. And you?

- No. - Then it won't happen.

Our orders are to bring it alive or dead.

So that's not going to happen.

May I suggest you leave in peace

so that we don't have to kill these two?

Is something funny?

You have bad taste for hostages.

You took the only two of we who are not Black Fists.

And why does that matter?

It matters because we don't value their lives

more than we value yours.

How did they know he was alive?

You exposed it.

You loved him before.

Well wait, Talon. Expose who?

You sent the Blackbloods to kill Garret.

What? I never would.

You and Janzo were the only ones who knew where he was,

and I know that Janzo didn't say anything.

Well, me neither.

So why did you insist so much tell you where I was?

Because I wanted to go see her.

To greet you. Maybe bring him some food.

I would certainly never nothing to hurt him.

So how did they find out Where was it?

I do not know.

Maybe one of the guards listened to us.

- You're good? - Mm.

Just a headache.

How dare you come here and accuse me to reveal Garret's whereabouts?

The man that I have loved all my life?

How dare you come here and accuse me

to reveal Garret's whereabouts?

The man I've loved all my life?

- Get out of here. - Outside!

- What's the matter, Gwynn? - Get out of here!

I'm just me.

What are you doing here?

Trying to remind you the old times.

Do you remember when I used to sneak here when we were teenagers?

I had to pay a guard in gold for its silence.

So many special moments in me life occurred in this room.

In our lives.

Do you mean the last time that you were here,

when you told me that you would marry with old Relman?

I had no choice. My father He promised Lord Relman.

You should have disobeyed.

I was just a teenager. And a woman.

I couldn't run away and win fortune and glory.

Disobey my father no it was an option for me.

Your father didn't care your happiness.

He only cared about Relman's wealth.

That may be true, but now both men are in his grave,

and I have managed to inherit everything.

Sorry, Falista.

I didn't know about your father.

He hated them both.

You were the only man who he really cared about me.

- Sorry, Falista. - Stop saying you're sorry.

The point is that everything about you and everything Mine could be ours to share

I have everything I need.

From what I've heard you need my army.

Maybe if this were in another time and place.

But I can't, Falista.

I am engaged to another woman.

Queen Rosmund?

I don't think you're in love with her.

You just want to be king.

It started like this.

But now it is real.

Please.

You are making the decision wrong, Tobin.

Mm.

Knock Knock.

They told me you wanted to see me.

Leave us.

And what can I do for my Queen?

Oh, Sammy.

We are childhood friends.

You saved my life in battle.

There is no need to be ceremonious.

Please sit down. Eat.

Oh.

You know, if I remember correctly ...

you once admitted that you were in love with me

Yes, when we were children.

As my oldest friend in the world,

I wanted to give you something

I am glad that you been able to join the Union.

- Like me. - Now go away.

Spread my gift to others.

The craftsmanship of this box is really,

quite fascinating.

You have an incredible variety instruments down here.

Thank you. I did most of them myself.

I guess you are very good with the hands.

Hmm I am

even if I say so myself.

You know what? I think we should do

that science experiment we are talking about.

Mm-hmm. What did you experience is that then?

You know, the one we were talking before?

About what would happen if a human and a blackblood

- go to ... - Oh ...

I mean, it would be strictly by science.

Mm-hmm. Just for science.

- And it wouldn't mean anything beyond that. - No. No, nothing.

We are only expanding our combined knowledge of the species.

Exactly.

- Hmm. - Um ...

This is going to be very interesting.

I love science.

I understand that you wish to see me, Tobin.

Yes.

Gertrusha, would you mind give us some privacy?

Gertrusha is aware of my proposal.

- You can stay. - Proposal?

Yes.

I need an army

and it looks like you have one ready.

So, I would like to propose ...

a payment for the use of your army.

- A payment? -Yes.

So what has it become our relationship, in a transaction?

Tobin, I'm richer than you.

I have no interest in your money.

My only interest is in you.

Even if we were both poor

I'd still love you

I've done it since we were kids.

Sorry, Falista.

I'm sorry Tobin

because the only way you can have my army is through marriage.

But I'll only marry you for your army.

Not because I ...

Not because I love you.

I know.

And do you still want it?

Time makes love grow.

And you will be with me not with Rosmund.

And I trust that your old feelings they will return to me in time.

Sorry, Falista. I... I don't think that will ever happen.

I love Rosmund.

If your feelings are so strong for your queen

and you really want to save her,

the only way to do it is to give it up.

Hmm. How ironic.

What?

Well I remember when you used exactly the same bait

to try to win the Rosmund's hand.

- It didn't work for her. - Will it work for you?

You really are a fish fat here, huh?

I'm not sure I deserve your respect these days.

Of course. You are about to become king.

- It seems that this will not happen. - Why not?

Because if I don't raise an army to go back and save Rosmund,

the Black Fist probably it will kill him.

But I can only form an army fast enough

if I marry Falista.

It seems that none of the two is a good choice.

- Tell me. - If you marry Falista,

you save the queen. That seems the most important thing.

You're right.

Rosmund's survival is more important than my happiness.

You know what, Munt? You are more cunning than what most of us believe.

- What does "cunning" mean? - Rosmund will hate me,

but at least she will be alive.

I said that?

Hi, Talon.

what do you want?

Oh darling,

I thought we already had overcome this animosity.

I'm busy.

Getting ready to fight someone?

It is better to be prepared.

Talon, it's time for you pass on some wisdom.

More lies about my father?

No.

The truth about everything.

What about the gods?

Talon, you will love to be part of the Unit.

- Unit? - Give me your hands, please.

- No. - Heel!

Shh, shh, shh. Shh.

Your Kinj don't do what you said truth?

No, it is not.

I do not understand.

A kinj will not work on someone who already has one.

Shh, shh.

Is it true that your kinj does not work with Talon?

Yes.

Why haven't you told me this before?

It never came up.

Why? Priestess?

What does your kinj do?

Should I repeat myself?

It takes us to paradise.

So why haven't we left?

Zed.

You're right.

I have a confession.

I was wrong.

- About what? - The paradise we seek,

it is not in another realm.

It's right here within ourselves.

- I do not get it. - But you will.

You will understand in time.

Be patient.

You have done your part.

All you have to do now is to look in amazement

how I spread peace.

You trust me, right, Zed?

Implicitly, Priestess.

- Janzo. - Nothing.

She wasn't doing anything down there.

- The Yavalla kinj reproduces. - Reproduce? No.

No, that wasn't really ... It was not our goal.

We were just trying to ... experiment.

What are you talking about, Janzo?

What are you talking about, Talon?

Yavalla's kinj does not what she said.

Or maybe yes, but the only thing I know what it does is reproduce.

- How do you know? - Because I saw her kinj

split in two before my eyes.

And then he tried to pass me one, but my kinj blocked it.

Mm.

What do you want, human?

I just ... I just want pass you a little wisdom.

Explain yourself.

Welcome to the Unit.

- Garret, what are you doing here? - Does not matter.

Look I just saw Sammy grab to a Blackblood woman,

and he was sweaty and pale like he's sick.

And I swear, Janzo, I swear that Sammy had ...

- A kinj. - Two, actually.

And passed one to ... How do you know?

That means other they can spread it.

I thought it was just Yavalla.

Wait I'm sorry Then the kinj of Yavalla

not open a portal to a new place?

I'm not sure what it does.

The only thing I'm on sure is that it spreads.

So we have to get to Gwynn and protect her from getting one.

It may already be too late.

Gwynn is the one who asked me where were you just before

the Blackbloods came to kill you.

No. No, Gwynn would never abandon me.

- What if I had no other choice? - What do you mean?

If she is spreading all these kinjes,

then there must be a reason.

- Something for Yavalla to use. - Like what?

Like a beehive. Maybe connect all the brains of the flies at once.

- Is that possible? - Oh yeah.

Oh yes there are many examples In nature.

There are ... there are flies of the eggs and ... and waju ants.

It will allow Yavalla to control anyone who has one of her kinjes.

And what does that mean? That she can see what they see?

And listen to what they hear?

I do not know. Maybe.

Good. If so, we cannot trust In no one outside this room

Not until we know for sure not they have one of those things in their heads.

So we can't trust in no one but us.

Well, there is another person.

Marriage is a promise

between two people who love each other,

two people who trust one in the other,

- and two people ... - Minister, can it be shorter?

I have a lot to attend to.

As you wish, Lord Aegisford.

We are gathered here today under the gods

to unite this man and to this woman in marriage.

Lady Relman,

Do you promise before the gods

that no action or person,

only death can end with this marriage?

Yes I promise.

And you, Lord Aegisford,

promises before the gods

that no action or person,

only death can end with this marriage?

Yes I promise.

Then I declare them husband and wife.

Good. Now you can have your wedding gift.

Our army awaits your orders, husband.

- Now go save your queen. - Our queen.

Yes, good,

go save her and come back to me.

Just remember the vow that you did before the gods

and all these witnesses.

So am I supposed to believe that she is, what,

Handing out kinjes all over the Outpost?

Yes, and he lied to all of us.

Yavalla is our Priestess.

She always tells the truth.

Why hasn't the portal of paradise?

She told me it doesn't do that. She said it spreads peace.

- Yes, like a disease. - What you're saying is heresy.

Yavalla is good. The embodiment of peace.

When everyone else They were falling apart

she alone kept us in the Plane of Ashes.

Drop it, Zed.

Tell me again why we can trust him.

Because it has a kinj. It cannot infect you.

Yes, but obviously she She has already indoctrinated it.

- Explain it, Janzo. - Yes, please do.

- Explain it to me. - It's okay.

Do you even know how it works the hive of flies?

What does that have to do with Yavalla?

It is as if all the brains of the flies are connected to their queen's.

It's like everyone thinks with a great combined brain.

Y?

And I think Yavalla is the queen from fruit flies.

How would that work?

One kinj divides into two and then it is passed on to someone.

And then that one splits again and so on.

- It is exponential. - And for what purpose?

That is the question that I asked myself

and I came to the conclusion

that Yavalla wants control us all.

You humans have an incredible imagination.

- I'm not human. - And I don't appreciate your lack of respect

towards our Priestess, Talon.

Now if you'll excuse me I have duties to attend to.

You're not going anywhere.

What are you doing, Garret?

Garret, you're dead.

Looks like you've seen a ghost, Zed.

I'm doing. I saw it dead with my own eyes.

- His heart stopped. - I can assure you that

Garret Spears is very much alive and I live well.

Now sit down

and listen to us.

Did you want to see me, mother?

Wren, my dear girl, come here.

Just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you.

You have given me the key to paradise.

Yes.

Well, considering you were

willing to leave me there down to die,

I think you owe me an apology.

You're right.

Yes I know.

- Come closer. - You've never apologized in your life.

Why do you act so so different?

I do not know what you mean.

Wren, give your mother a hug.

A hug?

That's another thing you never do.

What does your Kinj do?

I told you.

Unite our people and we take everyone to paradise.

- Show me. - As you like.

What are you doing? How did you get another one?

Mother, what are you doing?

I am giving you the power, my love.

What power? I do not want it.

Mother, let me go. Let me go!

No!

- Janzo! - Wren?

- Janzo. - Wren. What's going on?

- Something is wrong. - What's going on?

She could be trying to pass the kinj to him.

- Janzo, stay away from her! - What are you doing?

Talon, please, yes already had the kinj of her mother,.

it would have migrated to me.

- Wait, do you know anything about that? - Are you sure?

- Please. What? - Mother has two kinjes.

Two. She tried to put one of them in me.

Wait. Yavalla?

What are you doing here?

Wait wait wait. She works for mom.

- I could have one of her kinjes. - Does not have it.

- How do you know? - Because she's immune, just like me.

So it is true. Yavalla is passing kinjes to other people.

-Yes. - You believe her, we don't.

How do you know that these kinjes are bad?

I mean, maybe they just do happy or peaceful people.

She tried to force me, Zed.

Does that sound like something happy or peaceful?

Sammy did the same with the Blackblood to which she passed her kinj.

This can't be right.

And now that?

An army is approaching.

Who is that?

It's Tobin.

My fiancé has come to save me.

You don't need to be saved.

I know.

Go with him.

Give him the gift.

Talon, where are you going?

She is going to infect him with one of those things.

We need it.

Rosmund, you are free.

You came back

You're my hero.

But, Tobin, you can put down your weapons.

Yavalla and I are now at peace.

Are you?

But i'm so glad that you have brought your army.

Soon, yours and Yavalla's together they can retake the capital

and rid this world of The Three.

And Tobin we can finally get married

and have everything we ever wanted.

- Heel! - I have to stop her.

It's too late!

The only thing you will do now is to expose ourselves.
