on our original street-racing roots.

We've been in the rough this week.

We've been in the nastiest, greediest, grimiest.

we know how it is not to have all the fancy stuff.

South carolina managed to knock out st. Louis.

New orleans knocked off their rivals from texas,

which was a real battle of the titans.

Hell, yes.

It was north versus south

when northeast defeated kentucky.

We drug their ass. That's it, baby.

And then detroit made a huge statement

when they defeated mississippi.

I even let that [bleep] go first!

J.J.: And then four teams squared off for round two.

We got a drag race!

New orleans done their homework.

They skunked northeast seven to zero.

That [bleep] can drive, baby.

Then detroit beat south carolina.

I shut it the [bleep] off.

What happened?

J.J.: Which left two teams standing --

new orleans and detroit.

They faced off with an epic battle.

But in the end, new orleans was left standing...

Now we move it away from the memphis streets

racing new orleans for $100,000.

Good thing about this is, no black marks,

fresh, virgin street, real street, middle of desert,

las vegas boulevard.

Whoever is the realest street racer

that can adjust and adapt to this street.

It ain't my street and it ain't kye kelley's street.

These guys have got

some of the most high-powered racecars

in the world right now.

We agreed with new orleans to race on a virgin street.

That means neither team has any data.

There is no rubber down.

You have to adjust and adapt

and go as fast as you can and hope it's fast enough.

If we beat them one or two, don't go to jumping in joy,

counting your chickens before your eggs hatch,

because they'll go back and beat on them computers

and they'll send it over to that computer

and they'll come back and win the next five.

Now, I ain't telling you not --

because when I win or one of you guys win,

they had to run me down across the desert.

I'm gonna be happy.

because we don't have the equipment that they got.

If lee would have grabbed his second kit

a little faster, he would've won.

All we can do is take what lee done

and try to put it to the rest of our cars

and go faster and beat these guys.

And if anybody can win, I feel like jeffrey james

in that big block killa can do it.

He has as much street credibility

me and that heifer was on a mission.

About halfway out, when I grabbed the second kit,

the heifer got out of control.

I gathered it up and I took the win home for mso.

J.J.: In a tight matchup like this,

it's really a big plus from memphis

tricia being so good of a street racer.

She is seasoned and well-knowledged

to the street-racing world.

When I hit it, it started, "vroo."

and so I just got off the second kit

so I didn't have to get out of the gap.

She was able to walk down the road

and tell me exactly what I needed to do

to make the hot rods go faster and be harder to beat.

I felt it in my butt --

the second it started swinging.

That's when we get an edge.

I mean, that's where they got an edge on us.

They can look at the computer, and the computer can tell them

where it done this and you can pull the timing.

To where I'm just having to -- I just felt it in my seat.

You got to drive it. I felt it.

Man #6: How do you feel about racing jerry bird?

The street's kind of equalizer but his record ain't too good.

The few I've done run, done smoked the tires.

So, I'm sitting here hoping mine ain't gonna do the same thing.

But if it does what it usually does,

he ain't gonna have a chance.

Got matched up with jerry bird.

Kind of picked me being six pair down

'cause my car got quite a bit of power

and we try to get a little rubber down.

We run my car most time.

It took a little bit of power down low

'cause everybody's kind of hazing the tires.

And I know with the cold weather, pro charges

is gonna make more power. We got a pretty good tune,

but you got your button on there.

If you need it, slow it down.

Well, I think because he's leaving in high gear,

I think it'll kill it enough to where it --

tricia was in high gear, too.
