The Legend of Xiao Chuo

Episode 15

Now, His Majesty has gone hunting in the Black Mountain,

and we're going to take this opportunity to do it.

You have your own people at his side, do you?

You must pay attention

and don't let the guys who are watching Mingyi King

find out your plan.

Don't worry.

At this moment,

the guy who has been watching Mingyi

should have been persuaded to surrender.

(Niaotan Temporary Palace) (The country is prosperous and the people are at peace)

Do you know,

what will happen

if Taiping King knows

what you have just said?

There will be two consequences.

(Chu Bu) (The personal bodyguard of Yelü Xian)

In one case, I will die

while His Majesty and Taiping King

will be more suspicious of you.

The other is

you will accept me as your person.

Why should I believe you?

My good brother, Bai Hai

is dead.

He was the one who went to Yanchang Palace for me.

If it were not for him,

I would be the one who died today.

We are slaves

who just want to settle down.

But our slaves are so miserable

who die in vain.

No one will shed tears for us,

and no one will revenge for us.

And the only people

who will cry and complain for us,

are just us.

Your Highness,

I want nothing else

but just to be your side

and do everything for you.

The people are not afraid of death,

how can they be afraid of death?

You just get up.

Thank you, Your Highness.

If you really mean it,

now,

I've got a job for you to do.

When Chu Bu surrenders to Mingyi,

I am sure there will be no one

who could get in the way of our plans.

But you were just trying to draw Chu Bu over

who was in charge of surveillance,

his elder brother was killed by the tyrant.

Isn't that a coincidence?

Can it be Mingyi King...

No way.

Since childhood,

Mingyi could not bear to stamp an ant to death.

It must be the tyrant who has done so much evil

that let Mingyi enjoy abundant support.

Do you know him well?

Although I'm the deputy of Mingyi King,

but he's just like my brother.

I know him better than anyone else.

I firmly believe

that he will be the good emperor of Liao Dynasty

and bring a bright future

to Liao Dynasty.

He's a very important person

in your heart, isn't he?

He's

the most important person in my life,

just like you.

The emperor you choose

must be the best.

Let's work together.

(Black Mountain Hunting Ground)

Where is the prey?

Where is my prey?

Your Majesty, you are so majestic

that the preys dare not appear.

It has been very cold this year,

and Your Majesty is so imperious

that no animal comes near.

All right.

Then

you should be my preys.

Just run.

Run.

It's your turn.

It's a nice move.

(The Pavilion of the Temporary Palace in Black Mountain)

Chu Bu, why are you here?

Come on and have a seat.

Mingyi King has been in the Temporary Palace to recuperate,

and he found out that I had nothing to,

then he let me go home to take a look.

Look,

your parents

asked me to bring you something.

This is a vest your mother made for you,

just be sure to wear it if it's cold.

It's the mutton pulp pie

your father made for you,

and you have to taste it.

Sui Lu,

your wife said you had a leg injury

and these boots were specially made for you.

How are things going?

You're so lucky

that you can serve a charitable master like Mingyi King.

Yeah, Chu Bu,

you are so lucky.

I...

I went to Bai Hai's home.

Although his parents had many children,

but the only one that was brought up

is Bai Hai.

But now, he's gone.

Now accompanying emperor is just like accompanying a tiger,

we can't do anything.

Why we can't?

Even cattle and horse will kick when they are pissed off.

let alone we are people.

Besides,

since we're all going to die sooner or later,

why don't we perish with him together?

It's worth

to perish together.

This is nonsense.

The grassland is so big,

and without the bellwether, it's going to be a mess,

and then,

no one will have spare time to care about you.

Okay, let's not talk about that.

Where is little brother?

Little brother

has escaped.

I will kill you.

Wine.

Yes.

Wine.

Just bring the wine.

Are you going to kill me?

Sui Lu, Sui Lu.

Kill him.

Sui Lu, Sui Lu.

Help, somebody's going to kill me.

Come on, let's kill him together.

Help.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Protect His Majesty.

Don't move.

Let him go.

I want to kill these bastards myself.

Give me the sword.

Give me the sword.

Do you want to kill me, too?

Tyrant,

you finally die in my hands!

Prime Minister Siwen,

what should we do now?

Right now,

the tribes of Black Mountain have just settled down,

we have to keep this as the secret

to avoid complicating the issue

and repeating the dangerous situation when Emperor Shizong of Liao passed away.

We cannot follow the same old disastrous road

like Mount Xianggu.

Do you remember

when Mount Xianggu Rebellion happened,

he swore

in front of all the officials

that he would bring up Prince Xian

and treat him as his own son?

Exactly.

When His Majesty spoke these words,

we were present and heard the words with our own ears.

In that case,

Prince Xian should be summoned

to the Temporary Palace in Black Mountain immediately

and ascend the throne in front of the coffin of His Majesty.

That's the orthodoxy.

In order to prevent any tribal unrest,

information must be withheld

and no one could leave the palace.

If there is a violation,

they shall be arrested first in the name of His Majesty.

And we will tell the outside

that His Majesty had been wounded

and we are looking for the mastermind behind it.

Yes.

Kuangsi,

please stay in the camp

and give the command for His Majesty.

Yes.

Mingyi,

you just let me win.

This time,

I have to take two more steps.

These two moves

are very important.

The vantage points

have been fully occupied by me.

It's your turn.

It's a nice layout.

The outcome of this game

is about to be known.

That's what Go Game is all about,

things change so quickly

that it's hard to tell

until the last move is made.

It depends on

whether you have it or not.

Your Highness.

It's the letter passing by the pigeon.

It seems

I'm lucky.

(Mission Complete)

Your Majesty.

Congratulations, Your Majesty.

What about the token?

This token doesn't work.

An order was issued by the Taiping Palace yesterday

that no one is allowed out of town

without the new token.

Let me check it out.

How about it?

I found out

that a few spies

are caught in Taiping Palace yesterday,

and in order to prevent the rest ones to flee,

they temporarily changed the token.

What a coincidence!

What about the new token?

Can you get one?

Yes, it can be done,

but

it would take at least a day to do it

through the scribes of the Taiping Palace.

Yansage contacts Black Mountain every day

and one day may be fine,

but if there's no reply in two or three days,

he will send someone to check,

and by that time,

we can't hide it.

So we can't wait until tomorrow.

Don't worry, Your Highness.

I'll see you out of town tonight.

Great.

Bro Derang,

is there something urgent?

Yanyan, I need your help.

I'm in a hurry to get out of town,

but the gate is closed.

So I have to get a token

from the Taiping Palace

to get out of town.

Can you get it for me?

Where are you going

at this time?

You guys...

Are you guys going together?

Is Mingyi King going with you?

Yes.

Oh, I get it.

I'm going to Taiping palace.

Be careful.

I'll meet you at the gate of the Palace.

Hunian.

Why are you coming to me all of a sudden?

Do you miss something

when you choose your dowry?

It's so easy for you to read my mind.

I still need a set of books

in my dowry,

which I had seen at my brother-in-law's study.

What books are so rare

that you're in such a hurry to get them?

In the early years of Khitan,

Yelü Abaoji ordered people to compile

a set of family genealogy about Eight Tribes of Khitan.

At the beginning,

there were only few sets of family genealogy,

so the set of books is a rarity now.

Do you want this for your dowry?

It's because bro Derang likes reading.

Good sister,

my brother-in-law doesn't like reading anyway,

please give it to me.

All right. All right.

I can't do anything about you.

I'll get it for you.

I'll go with you.

Last time,

I just glanced at the door, and I saw this.

Perhaps there are some other precious

which could be added to my dowry.

I'll find it for you.

Okay.

Yanyan, don't be naughty.

There are a lot of important documents here,

and you will be in trouble if you mess them up.

Don't worry.

I often go to father's study,

but I never

mess up any documents.

Here's the books you want,

just see if they are right.

But Hunian,

I want that one, too.

It's too high.

How about asking Anxi to carry a ladder?

Angie, go ahead.

Yes.

Be careful, Anxi.

Okay.

Princess, Miss Xiao,

is this the set of books?

Let me have a look.

Just be careful.

You just stand by and don't make mess.

Be careful.

Here you go.

(Taiping King)

Give that to me.

Your Highness,

will Mr. Han get the token?

I'm sure he can get it.

Chu Bu, just remember

as soon as we leave,

you need to take Po and Diligu

to Wuzhi King Palace right away.

You and I will communicate by flying pigeon.

Do you remember that?

Yes, Your Highness.

(Taiping Palace)

Yanyan.

How about it? Did you get the token?

Bro Derang, you'd better hurry.

(Taiping King) Once Yansage finds out this,

(Taiping King) you can never leave.

(Taiping King)

Yanyan,

we'll get married when I get back.

There is an order from Taiping Palace

to send secret letters to Black Mountain.

(Taiping King)

Open the gate.

This confidential letter must be delivered personally to Taiping King

which is most urgent and cannot be delayed.

Master.

We have come to escort Your Highness

on the order of Mr. Han.

Let's go.

(His Majesty was killed in Black Mountain)

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Something happened.

Your Highness, please wake up.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

What's up?

Your Highness, something happened in Black Mountain.

I just got a message from Black Mountain

that the fatuous emperor is dead.

What? Yelü Jing is dead.

Go and get ready. I'm going to Black Mountain.

Your Highness,

it happened all of a sudden, and we're not ready for anything.

Outside our Palace,

there are all the guards sent by the Taiping King.

Even if we can break out of the encirclement

and rush to Black Mountain,

our princess is pregnant

and inconvenient to move.

If she is arrested by Taiping King,

then...

Your Highness, don't care about me

just go and do what you want.

With Hunian,

Yansage doesn't dare to do anything to me.

Go and gather Men of Sacrifice.

Yes.

My good girl.

Don't forget

that our baby and I are waiting for you at home.

Just stay in the mansion and wait for me.

When I get back from Black Mountain,

you'll be the Queen of Liao Dynasty.

Success or failure hinges on this one action.

If you can help me

get to Black Mountain as soon as possible,

you will be the important officials

of the new dynasty,

and I will reward you well.

We will die for you, Your Highness.

Great.

Follow me.

Yes.

Come with me.

God Tengri,

please make sure

Xiyin could come back safely.

Where is your document of going out town?

Let's go.

These people are trying to break through.

Close the gate

and stop them.

Close the gate.

Close the gate.

Come on.

Let's go.

Kill them!

Who are you?

Your Highness,

just now Xiyin led some people to try to break through the gate.

What is he going to do?

I have no idea.

He is now under siege,

but the people with him are all Men of Sacrifice.

Come with me and take a look.

Yansage.

Something must have happened,

I have to go and have a look.

Don't worry,

I won't let your sister become a widow.

Your Highness, it's the secret letter from King Black Mountain.

(His Majesty was assassinated in Black Mountain, but the news was sealed off.)

(And Yila went to the great tent, but did not return all night.)

(There's something wrong, so need to inform Taiping King.)

Something happened in Black Mountain.

What's going on?

It's said that His Majesty was assassinated

so the whole Black Mountain is sealed off.

And Yila went to the great tent

but did not return all night.

Something was wrong!

His Majesty is suspicious of others,

but he will never withhold information from me.

There must be something wrong with my brother.

Your Highness,

could Xiyin's breakthrough

have something to do with it?

Gaoliu.

Yes, Your Highness.

Go to Temporary Palace to see if Mingyi is still in.

Yes, Your Highness.

Nianmugun,

call up your troops and follow me to Black Mountain.

Your Highness,

the warrior of Yongxing Palace

have scattered all over the country

ad it will take days to get them together.

It's too late.

Half of the troops of East Battalion

need to station in Shangjing

and the others will follow me.

Yes, Your Highness.

Xiyin,

how dare you to dream about it?

You're just a bum!

Take them all for me.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Mingyi King is missing.

Missing?

He must have been to Black Mountain.

Chase him.

No matter he is dead or alive,

you must get Mingyi back.

Yes.

Take down the traitor Xiyin.

No.

Mingyi,

could you hold on?

How about you, Mingyi?

Mingyi.

Bro Han.

I'm afraid I can't hold on.

Mingyi, you have to hold on.

When you get to Black Mountain

you need to ascend the throne in the presence of all your officials,

so you cannot fall on the road.

Hold on.
