[Yang Jian Legend]

[Huyang Village]

Erlang God,

visit the mortal realm.

Four seas connect to the sky,

nine tigers sleep together.

Erlang God,

reincarnate to the mortal realm.

Father!

On the beginning of autumn,

bless upon Huyang!

How is it?

Mrs. Hei has given birth?

It's a girl.

In this village,

seems like only Carpenter Li's wife is left.

Let's go take a look.

Will Erlang God descend today?

Yes.

How is it?

The child might die.

What should we do? Please think of something.

You must save the child!

That child is Erlang God!

-Mrs. Li! -Mrs. Li!

You must give birth to the child!

What are you doing?

Carpenter Li, listen to me.

That child is the reincarnation of Erlang God.

When he reaches 20 years old,

he can help our village...

to get rid of Demon Mo!

Listen here, I don't have time for this.

Leave!

-Father. -This is our last hope.

Are you finished?

-She must give birth! -Don't hit him!

Don't hit my father!

-Don't hit my father! -You're so annoying!

She has given birth.

-How is it? -A boy or a girl?

Both mother and child are safe. It's a girl.

That's great.

Father, don't worry.

A little brother will be born.

Erlang God will not lie to us.

It must be somewhere else.

Yes.

Demon Mo is here!

Run!

Father!

Erlang God.

On the beginning of autumn,

he'll be reincarnated...

and descend to Huyang.

As of today,

why all the babies are girls?

[Twenty Years Later]

Hurry!

You can't take it...

-You can't take it... -Let go!

Please spare her.

Forget it.

You'll attract someone's attention.

Stop talking.

She bit me.

How dare you bit me.

I'll smash all your teeth!

Stop!

Demons have been rampant for twenty years.

The people is suffering.

How dare you rob old people and young girl...

in broad daylight!

You're adding insult to injury.

It's unacceptable.

Where do you come from?

Say your name.

I'm Erlang God,

Yang Jian.

Who are you trying to bluff?

Take mine.

How dare you snatch a god's food!

You don't want to live?

Do you know who is he? Erlang God!

I didn't snatch it. He gave it to me.

Yes, Sister Huan Ling, I gave it to him.

You gave him?

How dare you take it!

How dare you take it!

Don't let me see you again!

Crazy woman, just you wait!

Enough, Sister Huan Ling. Forget it.

Everyone.

Erlang God showed his grace just now and get rid of bullies.

Here are some sacred items made by Erlang God.

It'll bring good luck and longevity.

The first five buyers will have 20% discount.

Rubbish.

We also have the Couple Card that helps in love matter.

Don't go!

I'm not done yet!

Sister Huan Ling, Erlang God is in charge of love as well?

What do you know?

Why are you such a coward?

Are you a god or what?

I didn't say I'm Erlang God.

It's you who kept saying it.

It can't be wrong. You'll become god tomorrow.

Eat and sleep well tonight. Don't go anywhere.

Do you hear me?

Yes.

Why can't I sell it?

It must be not stylish enough.

I'll ask Carpenter Li to change it.

[I'm Erlang God]

I'm Erlang God.

Sister Huan Ling.

Why are you still awake?

Do you really think I'm Erlang God?

If I say you are, you must be.

If I'm a god,

why am I here?

To subdue demon...

and go back to the Celestial Empire with your mother.

I have to subdue 1,000 demons to be accepted by Celestial Empire.

Is becoming a god so important?

Stop talking nonsense.

How can you save your mother if you don't become a god?

How about I kill you and you can become a ghost?

But I always treat you as my mother.

Fool, I'm not your mother.

I found you on the road.

That's why your name is Yang Jian.

I see.

When you have become a god,

you'll forget about me.

Everyone is born with a mission.

Your mission is to subdue demons.

My mission...

is to send you off.

I still don't believe I'm Erlang God.

I don't think I'm different from others.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling!

Can you keep your voice down?

You still want to be beaten by that woman?

San Er, open the door.

I told you to keep it down!

-It's not me. -I've asked you to...

Keep it down.

San Er, quick.

It's really not me.

Brother, there's a date seed.

Who?

Who is it?

Who's there?

In the times of chaos,

he split heaven and earth to establish Yin and Yang.

With three eyes of divine power,

he's the mighty Yang Erlang.

Everyone.

Huyang Village is attacked by Demon Mo every year.

We've endured for twenty years.

Today,

Erlang God will save the people from suffering!

This again?

I heard that there's certain date for a god to descend.

I think it's today.

If he's really the Erlang God, I'm the Jade Emperor.

Sister.

How long more?

I'm afraid of heights.

Stop bluffing.

The time is here.

Let's welcome Erlang God.

She really lit it.

Seems real.

Ouch!

He's a liar.

Yang Jian, are you alright?

Liar!

Maybe I counted wrong.

It's not yet time.

Demon Mo is here!

Run!

Yang Jian, run!

Come.

Quick.

Sister.

Put me down.

Shut up.

Leave me.

-Put me down! -Shut up!

Sister, what are you doing?

Let me out!

I don't want to lose another family member.

Sister Huan Ling!

Come back!

Sister Huan Ling!

Now!

Sister Huan Ling, run!

I'll hold him off!

Who ask you to come out?

Yang Jian!

Yang Jian, take the pitchfork!

The Third Eye?

It's hot!

It's hot!

It's hot!

Yang Jian.

Look.

He's really the Erlang God!

Say no more.

Hurry and pray to Erlang God!

Almighty Erlang God.

Please forgive our rudeness.

Please bless us.

All hail Erlang God.

Move away!

Erlang God.

Sorry for offending you.

You're generous.

Please forgive us.

Please forgive us.

Why are you blinking?

So, you're great when you have three eyes?

Ouch!

It's painful, sister!

I almost went blind.

What are you doing?

The demon is dead, shouldn't you become a god?

Look, there's a person here.

-Where? -It's real.

-Yeah. -Who is that?

It's a girl, I haven't seen her before.

What's going on?

Why is there a pregnant woman inside Demon Mo's belly?

Is she from our village?

I think she's an outsider. I haven't seen her before.

Go get the physician.

It's her?

Why is she here?

It's really Zhi Xuan.

Grandfather, you're confused again.

I'm not confused.

She's my sister.

She's the demon.

You have to kill her.

Sister.

Kill her!

Didn't you ask me to subdue demon?

Why are you asking me to kill people now?

On the bamboo slips left by my father,

it says Erlang will ascend to the sky after subduing demon.

But you're still here.

This shows that the demon is still alive.

But she's a living person.

The people that Demon Mo ate are all gone.

Only she's still inside.

This proves that she's the real body of demon.

Kill her! What are you doing?

Do you still want to be a god?

-Do you still want to be a god? -Enough!

Kill her yourself if you want.

It's not that I must be a god.

Zhi Xuan.

Zhi Xuan, I'm your brother, Su Wu.

Zhi Xuan, wake up!

Go get water.

Sister.

Zhi Xuan.

Zhi Xuan.

-She's really a demon. -Demon!

Grandfather, water is here!

Run!

Demon, come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Demon doesn't have emotions.

Sympathizing with her will only ruin your divine future.

You're right.

I shouldn't force you.

Come see me when you've figured it out.

Sister Huan Ling.

You've figured it out?

Yes.

Turn around.

What have you figured out?

I want to kill that demon!

You can subdue demon...

but we have to have agreements.

Alright.

First, you must listen to me for everything.

Second, subduing demons are your utmost priority.

Even if it cost my life, you must subdue demon.

Lastly,

after you become a god,

don't forget me.

Alright.

I promise you.

Let's go.

Alright.

Sister Huan Ling.

The demon has run away.

How can we find her?

We don't know where she went but we know where she came from.

Yes, we can find Uncle Su.

But,

Uncle Su is dead.

Who says we can't ask the dead?

[Summons the reincarnation of Hua Tuo,]

[Physician Zhang.]

Master Huang.

How is my son?

His pulse is not in order.

The Xuanmai Pulse is about pain...

while the Shenmen Point is one's aura.

His qi and blood is insufficient.

His disease...

Please say it.

Can my son be saved?

I'll leave now!

Don't let him run!

Please spare me!

Who are you?

Don't be mad.

Please calm down.

Did we hire a Taoist?

Sir.

I'm Tian Yuan.

Can I give it a try?

My child is dying from a disease.

Over a hundred of physicians failed to cure him.

You're just a Taoist, you can cure him?

Over a hundred of physicians failed to cure him.

How do you know your son has caught on a disease?

Human and ghost, listen to me.

The sun rise from the east.

Evil begone!

The mouth breathe out the fire of the mountains.

The flying amulets shines at the door.

Demons are mentioned in the histories.

Break the plague with times...

and take this vajra!

Master, how is my son?

Don't worry.

Don't panic.

Young Master Huang's sickness may or may not be caused by a disease.

What do you mean?

This disease is caused by his karma in previous lives,

it's the marriage karma.

Nobody can cure him.

We can only follow the God's will and his disease will be cured by itself.

Please say it clearly.

Go 250km to the west from here.

The first woman you see will be his predestined wife.

Let them get married immediately and his disease will be cured.

Alright.

My son will be saved.

I don't dare to lie.

My father said there's a strange forest in the desert.

It's at the intersection of Yin and Yang.

People who just passed away will gather over there.

Yang Jian!

Sister Huan Ling.

We've walked for four hours.

Maybe they've changed places?

Let me rest for a while.

You've become a god.

Why are you still so weak?

-Get up! -Let me rest for a while.

Get up!

Sister Huan Ling.

Look at that.

The footprints are all gathered here.

This should be the gate to the Ghost Realm.

There's nothing there.

Try to look with your Third Eye.

My father said the Third Eye can see all beings in six realms.

Did you see Uncle Su?

Come.

It's full of ghosts over there.

Those souls are going back to reincarnation.

It's really there.

-That is... -Do you still want to subdue demons?

Yes.

Go then!

Uncle Su.

Uncle Su.

Uncle Su.

Hurry up.

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Uncle Su!

Who are you?

How dare you break into the Ghost Realm!

I'll leave right away. I'm sorry.

The gate of Ghost Realm is not for you to come and go as you like.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

Yang Jian, what are you doing?

Did you see Uncle Su?

There's a black man and a white man.

They want to capture me!

Black man and white man?

-Where? -I'm sorry.

How dare you!

He's Erlang God!

Kneel down immediately and wait for his order!

Stop talking!

Believe it or not, he'll turn you into ashes!

What's that sound?

Erlang God?

Go.

I'm Erlang God.

You're that Erlang God...

who's cold and strict, turns his head to hide his injury...

and stays calm when facing death?

Yes, that's me!

Pretending to be a god, that's another sin, take him away!

I'm Erlang God!

I'm really the Erlang God!

I'm Erlang God!

I'm Erlang God!

I'm really the Erlang God!

Why he's so arrogant when he's introducing himself?

I'm Erlang God!

I'm really Erlang God!

You hinder official duties and pretend to be a god.

It's an unforgivable sin.

Unforgivable sin?

Please ask the Divine Bell to summon the Soul Eater.

What are you doing?

Huh?

The Divine Bell is gone!

It's empty!

Don't be too over!

Master Erlang, it's just a misunderstanding.

Look.

Thank you for giving me a new look.

Where is Uncle Su?

I've brought him here.

Su Wu, come here!

Go!

Please ask him.

Uncle Su.

It's me, Yang Jian.

The woman inside Demon Mo is truly your elder sister?

Yes.

How would I not recognize my own sister?

But you're old.

How could you have such a young elder sister?

My sister's name is Zhi Xuan.

[When she's 17 years old,]

[she went to Chiwu Temple to become a nun.]

[The woman inside Demon Mo looks the same as her...]

[when she's 17 years old.]

Chiwu Temple?

Uncle Su said that her sister went to Chiwu Temple...

to become a nun.

Do you know where it is?

Sister.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling!

Help!

Shut up!

Keep quiet!

You don't want to live?

She's our young master's future wife.

Don't you know?

I've told you multiple times to respect her!

Are you a fool?

She has run away!

Capture her!

How dare you run away!

Boss!

Darn you.

Capture her!

Alright.

Still want to run away?

Brother, respect her.

Brother!

What are you looking at? Take her away!

[Three Days Later]

Report!

Master, they've brought back the girl.

-Great. Quick, bring them in. -Yes!

Ask my son to come here now.

Ridiculous!

Why do you treat a girl like this?

-Release her immediately! -This girl...

You didn't hear what the master said?

Release her now!

Yes.

Stop her!

Don't run.

Careful!

Young master, careful.

Stop her!

Quick, over there!

Useless!

Son, are you alright?

Yes.

Master.

If I let such a vulgar and savage woman marry my son,

my family will not have peace.

She's the fated one for your son.

It's predestined.

We can't do what we want.

If you really want to save your son, you must follow the God's will.

What's your opinion?

Father, I like her.

How dare you!

Do you know who's my brother?

Listen here.

My brother is Erlang God!

How dare you bully me!

You don't want to live?

Let me go!

[Second bow to parents.]

[Husband and wife bow to each other.]

Sister Huan Ling.

You don't want to marry me?

Sister Huan Ling.

Don't you always want to be with me?

No.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling.

Sister Huan Ling.

Don't you always want to be with me?

Sister Huan Ling.

[On the Wedding Day]

Good.

It's a good news.

Come, drink more.

Drink until you're drunk.

Congratulation, Master Huang.

My son's getting married today.

On his wedding day,

I hope you all will drink until you're drunk.

Alright, drink until we're drunk!

The newly-wed is here!

Thank you.

Thank you.

Congratulations.

You're lucky.

First bow to the heaven and earth!

Second bow to the parents!

Husband and wife bow to each other!

Yang Jian.

Save me!

He make a fuss here.

How absurd!

Get him out quickly.

Let her go!

Who are you?

I'm her husband!

Husband?

Nonsense!

What is your evidence?

There's an eagle-shaped birthmark on her back!

Servant.

When you changed her clothes,

did you see her birthmark?

Master, she really has a birthmark.

-It's real. -She really has it.

Young master.

I have something to say.

When I cleansed her just now,

I've checked it myself,

she's still a virgin.

My lady.

Since she's a virgin,

how can she be your wife?

That means you're lying.

He's a demon!

Capture him!

Demon.

How dare you appear in front of me!

Don't get in my way!

I advise you to leave quickly.

Don't force me to subdue you!

Alright.

Good.

I'll show you my true power.

See through the God's will, with the famous mountains. The sun and moon are together.

It's unpredictable where the air comes and goes.

The air connects to the Heaven, the air connects to the god.

All evil spirits begone.

Those who can see me will be blind, those who can hear me will be deaf.

Those who dare to plot against me will suffer from it!

Father!

What are you doing?

Wife!

My wife!

Report!

Master, I've searched everywhere.

I can't find Venerable Tian Yuan.

Useless!

He's really a liar!

Father, calm down.

Don't fall sick...

because of me.

Son.

You're the one who fall sick!

It's alright.

Guards!

Yes.

Capture a few physicians again.

No matter how much money,

I must cure my son.

Yes.

Huang Fu.

Leave first.

Father.

All these years,

you've searched all physicians.

But in the end, it's to no avail.

I know my own disease.

You're muddle-headed.

I'm muddled-headed?

Huang Yi Jiao.

Do you know how much money our family has?

Even a god can't finish our money!

Father! I'm not interested in money!

What?

You fool!

You're the muddle-headed one!

You're my son.

If you're dead,

nobody will inherit our big family business.

I want you to have a long life.

Even longer than a god!

Guards!

Help my son to his chamber.

Don't touch me!

Prepare the horse!

I want to go out!

Where are you going?

I want to marry that woman!

Son.

You've become stupid because of my slap?

That Taoist, Tian Yuan, is a liar.

You want to marry that woman?

She can't cure you!

I don't want to cure my sickness nor keep the money at home!

I want to be with my beloved woman!

Yi Jiao, are you crazy?

You'll die!

Instead of living without love,

it's better to die for love.

You!

-Guards! -Yes.

Go after him quickly!

-Yes. -If you can't get him back,

I'll kill you!

The human's path is vague, the god's path is not easy,

the ghost's path is intriguing.

As a human, we need to be safe.

The heavenly Tao is boundless.

Tao...

is within the flowers and trees.

You still need to understand and practise Tao.

Dismiss.

Let's go.

Let's go.

-Master. -Master.

Master.

Qing Feng, Ming Yue.

Since when did you two become so diligent?

Master, why can't we go to the back of mountain?

Yes. Since ancient times,

masters of Taoisme in the past...

practise Tao at the back of the mountain.

If we also can...

Nonsense!

The back of the mountain is a forbidden place for Chiwu Temple.

No trespassing!

What forbidden place?

It's obvious you don't want us to see it.

Impudent!

You still have distracting thoughts.

You're both punished to copy Duren Scriptures for 49 times!

Master!

It's all your fault.

Did you know, there's only female disciples before this?

Really?

A female disciple went to the back of mountain to practise Tao.

I don't know what happened there...

and it became a forbidden place for Chiwu Temple since then.

Where is the other female disciples?

How would I know?

Tonight, we'll know after checking it at Scriptures Pavilion.

We haven't finished copying the scriptures.

If we're discovered by master...

What are you afraid of?

I'll help you to copy it.

"Sixty years ago,"

"there's a woman named Zhi Xuan in Huyang Village."

"She can't fit with the mortals since young."

["She hates the world."]

["She wants to become a goddess."]

["So, she came to Chiwu Temple to practise Tao."]

["As she's talented and smart,"]

["her master adored her."]

["One day, Zhi Xuan went to the back of the mountain to practise Tao."]

["She was devoured by a demon."]

Good, you break the law blatantly!

-The human's path is vague. -The human's path is vague.

-The God's path is not easy. -The God's path is not easy.

-The ghost's path is intriguing. -The ghost's path is intriguing.

Continue!

-The hearts of the noble are pure. -The hearts of the noble are pure.

-Don't let it be a tragic. -Don't let it be a tragic.

-I hope everyone will practise Tao. -I hope everyone will practise Tao.

-Don't destroy ecological balance. -Don't destroy ecological balance.

Why do you stop?

What did you say just now?

My husband?

It's painful, Sister Huan Ling.

Listen.

We're siblings.

Don't simply make jokes.

You found me on the road.

We're not siblings.

Besides, I said so to save you.

I...

What is our first agreement?

Listen to you for everything.

Listen carefully then.

Don't ever have feelings for me.

Learn the lesson from your parents!

Sister, I really never have feelings for you.

-Really? -Yes.

Good.

Walk.

Alright.

Sister.

Have you heard about Chiwu Temple?

Chiwu Temple?

Don't hinder me to subdue demon!

You're ungrateful.

You'd be dead if he didn't save you!

I don't need you to save me.

Let me help you!

Brother!

I don't need your help!

Chase the demon!

You don't have to.

The demon is injured.

It's hard to recover within three days.

Also,

please leave immediately.

Don't hinder me from subduing demon anymore.

-We also come to subdue demon. -Yes.

You can't even control your lightning.

You still want to subdue demon?

You're going to die.

Lightning?

The lightning that I emitted just now?

Yes.

The lightning which burnt my flying swords.

Let's go. We two go subdue demon.

We don't need your help.

Listen, don't look down on people.

He's Erlang God.

My wife, it's so hard to find you!

We're anxious to subdue demon, we've no time for you.

What are you doing?

As long as you're willing to marry me,

I can promise you with anything.

Do you know how wealthy is my family?

Even a god can't spend it all.

Are you finished?

I didn't hit you very hard that day because I'm afraid you might die.

Who dares to hit our young master?

-Young master. -Try to touch me.

Disappear from my sight at once!

If not, I'll electrocute you to ashes!

You're so short-sighted.

How dare you call yourself as Erlang God.

Miss.

If you really want to subdue demon,

marry him.

What has it got to do with you?

When I was dealing with the demon just now,

I noticed...

her reaction when she touched the incense burner.

What has it got to do with us?

That demon is afraid of gold.

Afraid of gold?

Yes.

To subdue this demon,

you must capture her...

and get rid of her heart.

What has it got to do with this sickly person?

You're the sickly person!

If what he says is true,

you can make a gold net to capture her.

Then, you'll be able to kill her.

How many taels of gold is needed to make a gold net?

Three thousand taels.

-That much? -That much?

Three thousand taels are nothing.

Yes.

That's why I say,

you must marry him.

You must not agree to it.

Coward!

To subdue demon is a big deal.

How can you be influenced by love matters?

-You sinister guy! -Stop arguing!

I promise you.

You must not!

We two fought fair and square!

Sister Huan Ling!

Yang Jian, what is our second agreement?

To subdue demon is our utmost priority.

Good.

It's settled then.

Great!

Hurry! Draft the marriage document...

and go back to take gold!

-Yes, young master! -Yes, young master!

Very good.

I have a plan.

I need your co-operation.

You're unhappy?

I'll kill you today!

Do it properly.

Goodbye, young master.

Yang Jian!

[Erlang God]

Yang Jian!

You're amazing!

Come down!

What are you doing?

Look.

The golden net that I knitted.

Haven't seen it before, right?

Zhi Xuan.

It's time to end.

Young master, rest for a while.

I'm not tired.

Huang Fu.

Yes, young master?

Where did Huan Ling and the others go?

They went that side.

-Huang Fu. -Yes?

Let me ask you something.

Please ask.

Do you think I'm handsome...

or that Yang Jian?

Young master, you're handsome.

Really?

Yes.

I think so too.

It's for you.

Why?

A god can't have amulet?

The Couple Card?

I've thought it for a long time.

This might be...

the only blessing that you can use in the Divine Realm.

Mortal like us need amulets for wealth and safety.

Do you regret?

What?

When did I ever regret?

Why are you blinking? Believe it or not...

My wife!

My wife!

My wife, you must be hungry.

I've roasted a wild rabbit for you.

I'm not eating.

Do you want to eat?

No?

He doesn't want to eat. You eat it.

I don't know your name. What's your name?

I'm Huang Yi Jiao.

Huang Yi Jiao?

When I was born,

I only had a bunch of hair on my head.

My father gave me the name.

I'll call you Yi Jiao.

Alright.

As long as you're willing to marry me, you can call me anything you want.

What are you doing?

If you dare to treat me badly in the future,

I'll kick you like just now.

Alright.

You can kick me as many times as you want.

I'll definitely treat you well.

[Battle Day]

Huang Gui.

-Is it done? -Yes.

Slowly.

Young master!

The bow is ready!

Alright!

But,

how can you be sure that the demon will run into this golden net?

A good question.

That's a bloodthirsty demon.

We need a bait now.

To bait with fresh blood.

When the demon enters within the range of this golden net,

the spell will make the golden net to trap her.

At that time, you use Five Lightnings Spell...

to pierce her heart.

Then...

You two...

Who's willing to be the bait?

Let me be bait.

My wife, no!

You'll have scar.

Huang Gui.

Young master.

I give you a chance.

You be the bait.

I'm afraid.

Nothing to be afraid of.

I'm afraid of blood.

Coward!

Bleed for Huang Family is nothing.

Come!

Listen.

If we succeed this time,

you'll be their leader.

Huang Fu!

Yes?

From now on,

Huang Gui is your leader!

What?

-Young master, I'll do it myself. -Alright.

Young master.

This is enough, right?

I think so.

No.

Useless!

Huang Fu!

You're still the leader!

-Alright! -Did you hear it?

Young master.

Young master.

Blood!

It's enough.

You be the bait.

What?

My wife, what are you doing?

For your safety.

For my safety?

We'll retreat to prepare for ambush.

You stay here.

When the demon appears, lead her to the net.

We'll act according to plan and subdue her.

Let's go.

I'm afraid.

Young master, it's nothing to bleed for Huang Family.

Do your best!

No!

I'm really afraid.

This place is vast.

How can we be sure that blood will attract the demon?

That is Smell Enhance Talisman drawn by Huan Ling.

Within 30 minutes an hour,

the demon will surely be attracted by the blood.

Look!

Yang Jian!

Huan Ling!

Where are you?

Save me!

-Young master! -Young master!

-What should we do? -What should we do?

We have to think of a way to hold that demon.

First, we need to attract her attention.

Let me do it!

Give me the talisman!

Sister Huan Ling!

Aim at me!

Huan Ling!

Come here!

Now!

Release the arrow!

-No. -No.

-My lady is there. -No.

Move!

Are you crazy?

Yang Jian, what are you doing?

Yang Jian!

Wu Wang Zi, now!

Yang Jian.

Are you alright?

Three-eyed weirdo, you're quite amazing.

How come there's a child?

It's Zhi Xuan's child.

The child will die.

This is demon's child.

It'll bring disaster to the people if we let it live.

Besides, it's dying.

You want to eradicate all of it?

Yang Jian.

Yang Jian, you must not die, you hear me?

You must not die.

Sister Huan Ling.

This time,

the demon is dead.

Yang Jian!

Yang Jian, wake up.

Wake up.

We've agreed...

that subduing demon is our utmost priority.

Why did you stop the arrow?

Why didn't you listen to me?

I'm asking you!

His body is dead,

but his soul has become a god.

He's going back to the Celestial Empire.

Yang Jian, listen well.

You've violated our first two agreements.

If you violate the last agreement,

I won't forgive you even if I die.

You hear me?

Slowly.

-Young master, you're really brave. -I'll help you dust it off.

Are you hurt?

No.

Why are you full of dust?

When a god ascends to Celestial Realm,

he'll lose all memories in mortal realm.

-It's alright. -Never mind.

He'll definitely forget me.

It's alright.

Huan Ling, are you alright?

The demon is dead.

We should say goodbye.

I still need to perform ceremony for the demon soul to find peace.

-See you again. -See you again.

Let's go, my wife.

Zhi Xuan.

Long time no see.

Yes.

Long time no see.

Sixty years have passed.

I just didn't expect...

we'll meet like this.

I don't have other choice.

You sealed me in the shadow for 60 years...

just to not let our child be born?

The birth of a celestial child in secret...

will only ruin us both.

To maintain your position as a god,

how can you kill so many people?

Anyone who knows about us...

should be killed.

But our child...

is innocent.

Since the beginning,

the two of us...

have done a mistake.

[Do you still remember...]

[the days we spent at the back of the mountain of Chiwu Temple?]

You said you dislike the indifference in Celestial Empire...

and longing for mortal life.

But now,

to maintain your position as a god,

you rather lives being lost.

Is this really what you wanted?

The love between a mortal and a god...

will not bear fruit.

Since mortals and gods shouldn't fall in love,

why it's always mortals who get punished...

instead of gods?

Everything has its order.

Mortals and gods are different.

Yes.

Mortals and gods are different.

It's me who forgot about it.

It's me who forgot about it!

Shut up!

Even the animals won't kill their own child.

You're not worthy to be a god!

Impudent!

I'm the son of Jade Emperor, Jin Wu!

I won't let you, a mere mortal, to behave atrociously!

Zhi Xuan.

Our fate has ended.

After your soul is gone,

you won't have to reincarnate...

or suffer again.

Hurry!

Slowly.

That's the Taoist.

Why are you here?

Shouldn't you be in Chiwu Temple?

Huan Ling.

I have things to ask you.

That is my wife.

Ask me if you have question.

Do you think...

the love between a mortal and a god...

will bear fruit?

Why do you ask about this?

Don't you always like Yang Jian?

What are you talking about?

Why do you talk about someone's weak point?

Let's go.

I like him, so?

Don't you feel pity?

Since you're born,

you're destined not to be with the one you love.

What's the pity?

Love does not necessarily bear fruit.

Besides, he has become a god now.

Maybe...

he has forgotten about me.

But this is good too.

He won't be too sad.

From today onwards,

I also want to start to forget him.

And be a good wife.

Indeed,

the love between a mortal and a god...

will only bring suffering.

The only correct solution is to forget each other...

and say goodbye.

Zhi Xuan's child...

is also a semi-god, right?

How do you know?

When Yang Jian was born, his body had that ray.

A rainbow ray.

A rainbow ray?

You're right.

The love between a mortal and a god will only bring suffering.

Zhi Xuan...

is really pitiful.

Originally,

I wanted to let you go...

for helping me to kill Zhi Xuan.

But now,

I don't have other choice.

-Hurry! -Protect Ms. Huan Ling!

Huang Fu, Huang Gui!

You want to kill us?

Do you think when people die, they leave no trace?

You're right.

People will leave traces after they're dead.

I know you've been to the gate of Ghost Realm.

Today, I'll let you see...

what's the real meaning of being annihilated.

This beast is called Soul Eater.

Huang Hu, Huang Gui!

-It eats soul. -Huang Fu, Huang Gui!

Once the soul is eaten, it'll disappeared in all Six Realms.

The soul will not be reincarnated again.

You...

Aren't you afraid of karma?

Sixty years ago,

I killed more than ten people in Chiwu Temple.

It's nothing if I kill you four today.

Who are you actually?

It's your turn now.

Huan Ling, careful!

Huang Yi Jiao!

Being wealthy is not a bad thing.

Sickly person.

Since you want to die, I'll send you off.

I don't need you to send me!

I'll go myself!

Huang Yi Jiao!

Huang Yi Jiao!

Instead of live without love,

it's better to die for love.

You sickly person.

Huang Yi Jiao.

Why are you so foolish?

Huan Ling.

Our fate...

should...

end too.

Another foolish mortal died for love.

Do you think...

I only have one way...

to make someone disappeared?

Back then, I also sealed Zhi Xuan in this shadow.

It's a pity that she has resentment and turned into a demon.

That's why she ended up like that.

But, you're a clever woman.

Yang Jian has ascended to Celestial Realm and become a god.

You shouldn't have any resentment now.

I didn't expect for you and Zhi Xuan...

to have the same ending.

[Child, you've descended to subdue demons for a thousand times.]

[Now, you can be a real god.]

[Are you willing to give up the suffering in mortal realm...]

[and be a real god?]

[There's a person whom you don't want to let go.]

[I was born as a goddess.]

[This can't be changed.]

[But, to be a mortal...]

[can be your other choice.]

[That's because a mortal...]

[can have...]

[love.]

Hand over Huan Ling!

Huan Ling does not exist anymore.

Brother.

Don't be anxious.

We're both gods.

Don't hurt our harmony for mortal love.

Stop the nonsense!

Love between a mortal and a god is a sin in Celestial Empire.

Since both of our mortal matters are settled,

why not keep your mouth shut...

and go back to Celestial Empire to be god together?

Don't forget...

that I still have mortal blood in my body!

[What...]

[is resentment?]

[A memory that can't be forgotten?]

[Or...]

[a person who can't be forgotten?]

[Do you regret?]

[If Zhi Xuan had resentment,]

[then,]

[I can have it too.]

Since you're looking for death,

I shall let you see...

the power of a real god.

Sister Huan Ling?

Don't forget about me.

Sister Huan Ling!

I'm the son of the Jade Emperor, Jin Wu.

You dare not kill me.

If you kill me,

you won't be able to return to Celestial Empire.

It doesn't matter if I can't return to such Celestial Empire!
