Our journey over the last week has provided
us with some of the most compelling

evidence of our careers. It has tested
us both physically and emotionally.

Any skepticism we had about the hauntings
of pendle hill have vanished over the last

few days and although we have tried to
remain rational throughout our time here,

the paranormal occurrences that we have
witnessed have taken their tole on us.

Now, as we approach the end of our journey,
we have received confirmation from HQ

that they have gained us access to the
most famously haunted location in pendle.

A location that last appeared
on television in 2004, a

location that is legendary
across the paranormal world.

Lower Well Head farm.

Hi guys, Alice here, it's
our final day at Pendle hill,

I've just had a phone
call from HQ with some

really exciting news
about the final location.

So I'm just gonna go and
wake Dan now and let him know.

I've just had a phone call
from HQ and they've managed

to get us Lower Well Head
farm as the final location.

What?

Yeah.

My god as if you're filming
me right nowhere you serious?

Yeah.

No I'm not joking I'm
being deadly serious.

Yes!!!

With the news that we would
be heading out to possibly the

most famous location in
pendle, we reflect on the journey.

and as we pack our clothes it begins
to hit home that this is our final day.

This week has just been
really, really surreal. Theres

been some real low points
in terms of wondering whether

is it all gonna live up to
the hype and are we gonna

get some stuff through like
when we did the barn where

it was really quiet for quite a while.

And then moments where it's
absolutely exploded and actually

really worried about the
safety of some of the team.

and how it's affecting them erm... and...

some really creepy moments
and some real kind of

you know, really eerie
places like the forest pendle

erm...you know just being in that
forest in the middle of the night erm...

just such a creepy, dark,
sinister feeling place.

I think we came into this journey

not really expecting much,
more on an open mind as we hear

the rumours of pendle, the
history behind the pendle witches

and going forward through this
journey has just built and built and built

and it's been mind blowing.

To the evidence we've captured
from newchurch to Saddlers

farm, we've heard voices,
we've heard them moving around.

It's been mind blowing
and I think thats to do with

I think possibly it's the equipment
that we carry it just gets us

that evidence it opens out and
reaches out to the spirits there and

it gives us phenomenal
evidence and to capture

what we have captured I
think is just mind blowing.

This journey has been like
nothing we've done before.

With where we stayed
obviously with series 2 in Chester,

that was tiring but this is
something else, the energy...

that gets drained here is
phenomenal, it's literally so tiring.

Every location we've
had, when that activity

happens its as if
theres an empty room

and then 100 people
walk in thats the only way

you can describe it,
it's absolutely terrifying.

Literally we've been grabbing
hold of each other this week.

There's been emotions
running high, it's... I didn't

expect this as obviously
you hear things but...

I'm glad with what we've got evidence
wise but it has been totally exhausting.

Well it's been a long
but exciting journey.

It's been some of the most amazing
evidence that I've ever caught.

Theres been times when
we've been scared to

death, times when
we've been really excited

and then just when you thought that
you've finally got everything that you

needed and it couldn't get any better we
got the phone call this morning from HQ

to say that we've got Lower Well Head
farm as our final investigation, I mean...

you just can't get any
better than that one I mean,

how fantastic, I'm really
excited about that one.

What an absolutely incredible
journey this has been this week, there's

been some of the most bizarre
moments I think we've ever been thorough,

erm... 2 night ago at Saddlers farm

topped it all off for me to be
honest but I think the whole

thing has just built and built
over the week and this morning

we received the call from HQ erm...

this is an absolutely monumental
moment for the haunted hunts,

we received the call that we
have been granted permission

to investigate Lower Well head farm which

for me and I know for the
other guys as well is just such

an incredible thing to happen
because Lower Well Head farm

is right up there as one of the main
reasons people come to pendle hill.

that, tynedale farm as well, bull hole
farm, they're all in that epicentre of

where everything happened and
the fact that Saddlers farm is just north

of Lower Well Head, its gonna
be crazy going there tonight

but it's a huge credit to everyone
behind the scenes who have

managed to get this for us, it
was last on television in 2004,

we are only the 2nd ever
team to investigate this location.

It supposedly sits on the site of a
morgue which is absolutely incredible.

But it...

it's just a perfect end to this
journey, we're all absolutely

shattered now we have been
through so much this week,

and to top it off tonight at this...

amazing location this,
so, this famous location it

is just unbelievable and
we cannot wait to do this.

Lower well head farm, the current building
that you see today was built around 1660,

and just like the nearby
bull hole farm, tynedale farm

and saddlers farm which
lie just across the valley

it was built on an older dwelling dating
back to the turn of the 16th century.

Our research indicates a small cottage
and farm existed on this site around 1570

and other small structures
would have occupied this patch of

land until the construction of
the current house around 1660.

Like many of the surrounding farms, it
is very possible that lower well head farm

would have once been a meeting place used
by those accused of witchcraft in 1612

and it's positioning in this specific
area of pendle near to the likes of bull

hole farm and saddlers farm, place it at
the very heart of the pendle witch story.

2 nights ago we investigated
saddlers farm which

many believe was there
site of malkin tower in 1612

and with lower well head farm lying
just across the valley, it is a strong

possibility that members of the Device
family and those associated with them

may have met on numerous
occasions at lower well head farm.

There is much speculation that this was a
spot used for sacrifice and witchcraft during

the 17th century and it is no secret that this
location is considered to be one of the most

haunted building in pendle.

Is it possible that the spirits of
those accused still flock to this house?

Or is it simply a
case of an innocent

location dramatised by
a TV show back in 2004?

We would be the first
paranormal team to investigate the

famous lower well head farm
since it's appearance on TV in 2004

and out time in pendle
would not be complete

until we investigate
this historic building.

As we prepare for our final step, I
decide to contact someone who was

there back in 2004 to get an honest
assessment of lower well head farm.

Good how are you Danny?

I'm very good thank you, I'm absolutely
shattered, we've been in pendle

all week erm... I can't begin to
tell you how tired I am right now.

I can imagine, I can only imagine,
vast place yeah, huge place.

Crazy erm... Ciaran the
reason I've called you today is

because we've been set up
with a very, very special location

and one that i know
you've got first hand

experience of, so we've
been granted permission

to investigate lower well head farm
now I know you were there back in 2004

erm... an absolutely amazing place, very,
very privileged to be investigating here

tonight and it's almost like the perfect
end to this journey if you like erm...

so I just wanted to get your
overall thoughts on it really,

you've been there before, you're
someone I trust in the paranormal

whats your take on lower well head farm?

Well lower well head farm is very
interesting compared to some of the other

properties in the area because it, once
you go into the property it has a very

I wouldn't say modern feel but it's
a lived in feel you know there are

people living there effectively but
it's modern even though it's a location

a building that goes back to the
1500's you know in terms of that

actual farm so its got a, it's
immediately a deceptive quality about it.

Because if you know the history and
of course you do know the history of

pendle hill anyway and the witch trial
etc, you go in expecting that sort of

atmosphere, that sort of you know erm...
that kind of spookiness about it or that

association with witches and actually when
you go in, it's a residential property.

Yeah.

You know so it's immediately
deceptive in terms of you know

throwing you off tilter slightly
but it is a fantastic place anyway,

because of some of the
phenomena thats been reported there

I know, when we visited as a
team it was a little bit overshadowed

by some of the other locations
but that particular location

is particularly interesting
because you've got the footsteps

or the echoing of the
footsteps around the building

Yeah.

and I know at some point that was
picked up erm... but a lot of people

were focussed on the investigation
on more dramatic stuff where as for me

that feels like a really consistent
and reliable piece of evidence

where people report footsteps
but theres an echoing quality about it

almost like its echoing around the
house but its difficult to locate where

the footsteps have come from so
thats definitely one to look out for.

Yeah, yeah definitely now
2 nights ago we investigated

a very interesting location
called saddlers farm

now its to the, just the
north of lower well head farm

and it's one of the supposed sites of
the famous malkin tower erm... we had

I can only describe it as
one of the most bizarre

investigations we've ever
had and I'd be interested

in what was captured there erm... but with
lower well head farm sitting so close to it

and then you've got the likes of bull hole
farm and tynedale farm to the south as well

it really is in the epicentre of
the pendle witch story if you like.

It is and not only is it in
fact the epicentre but also

theres some debate about
the history of the farm and...

you know, theres one particular
historical line which was that it acted

as a morgue at some point an not
only is it central to all those buildings

but theres also that death association
with it as well you know so its a fantastic

location for that, I'm very jealous that
you're going back there its brilliant.

I know it's incredible we just
got hit with it this morning and

it was like my god are you
serious, is this actually happening?

You know I don't want
to go in there tonight

thinking that this is
one of the most haunted

places in pendle, I
don't want to you know,

go in there with that assumption
I just want to take it as it is and...

just see what happens I mean
this week has been so crazy anyway

and you know, we're
also tired right now its very

easy for our imaginations
to get away with us and...

this is why I really wanted
to speak to you and sort of

get a rational spin on things
before we go in there but

in your opinion do you
think this is a major hotspot?

Well I think pendle hill is
anyway you know, the number of

locations that you've got and
you just highlighted you know a

key point around lower well head farm, is the
location of it you know in conjunction to all

the other farms and all of the other key
buildings that feature in the pendle hill history.

Yeah.

So for that reason alone it
makes it a hotspot and it makes it

the place to investigate to be
honest just because it's almost

central to everything really
so its a fantastic location.

what this week has done to us as a team.

2 nights ago I thought that
was it to be honest, I thought

you know, the journey has to
stop here after saddlers farm,

erm... yesterday with the
woods an incredible day erm... I

think we're all feeling refreshed
now, ready to hit this and

the big news came in this morning,

lower well head farm tonight, this is...

without a doubt one
of the biggest moments

of our entire career,
this is unbelievable,

Its huge

Yeah

It's like the icing on the cake.

It really is and you know, it's a credit
to the guys back home who've done this for

us, we had no idea where the last location
was gonna be but the fact it is this...

incredibly famous location
that sits right at the very

centre of where we targeted
at the start of the week.

I just think we hit this with
everything we have tonight erm...

if it's anything like saddlers farm then

Keep going.

You know we just have to, we have
to just power through, we have to...

If we do need to take a breather
just take that 5 minutes, step back

fir a minute and then justly a
different approach and go into it again.

You know, the storied about this place
are just unbelievable with you know,

the paranormal activity thats taking
place there, the history of the place,

if there really was a
dwelling on the site of

lower well head farm
during the early 1600's

was it truly a meeting
place for the pendle

witches, do we
believe that this week

we have had strong
evidence that the pendle

witches still haunt
this incredible location?

I think saddlers proved that.

We've also got you know,
the theory that we are

leaning more and more
towards around the fact that

the spirits of the hill can follow you, can
be attracted to you, can you call them out,

so it will be really interesting to see if
we are able interact with anything tonight

that we've potentially
already interacted with.

the woods, I know i had a

it of a weird moment I
can only apologise for that

I was convinced it said my

all seen the evidence now

If there really is something
following us around pendle

hill then tonight we need
to confront it head on.

we came here for one
reason, we came here to

prove that pendle hill is haunted
by the spirits of the pendle witches

or we could debunk this
whole thing and I think it's fair

to say after the evidence
that we have gained this week

this is without a doubt,

Its just been so random how we've
came here on this journey not really

expecting to see if all the rumours
and whats been said by other people

and its just come out that all the evidence
that we have captured for it to come

up with like you say, one in a million
chance for it to say witch to come through

and other stuff thats backed
it up and saddlers farm

I also think that theres been
a couple of voices that have

come through at different locations
that have sounded the same.

Which does lead me to believe
that it's the same person or...

And what you have seen on the
locked off cameras, the whispering voices

the whispering voices that was...

Tired but I'm excited for
this one, it needs to end well.

Our final investigation and possibly
our biggest ever was about to begin.

We were about to investigate on elf the
most famously haunted locations in the UK

and we would be only the 2nd
team ever to investigate this building.

Our time in pendle had given us
some of the best results in our entire

careers and we were about to
push ourselves to the limit once more

in an attempt to find
undeniable proof of the hauntings

which exist in this most
mysterious area of England.

Ok guys here we are, lower well head farm.

Amazing house.

Yeah, its beautiful.

And you can tell here with the original
structures how old this farm is now,

all the reports, the
historical accounts, all lead

towards the fact that
before this house was built,

there was a small dwelling on
this site in the very early 1600's.

Could this have possibly been one
of the meeting points off the accused?

Yeah.

Now obviously the house has been modified
a lot, it's very similar to saddlers farm.

Yeah.

It's very atmospheric.

And we are right in the very centre
here, we're in the very centre of it all.

Let's head through.

Wow, wow...

No just in the far distance out
of that window is tynedale farm,

and that just goes to show how
much we are in the middle of it all.

Yeah.

To the north lies saddlers, over
there lies bull hole farm, tynedale

farm this is what we've been doing
all week guys, this is what we've been

searching for in this valley here is the
hotspot, this is where it is said that many

of the accused came and did their meetings
here, held their meetings in these places.

How we all feeling?

Excited.

Yeah, yeah.

I feel refreshed and

It's because it's the
last investigation now

this week and what we've
had over the week is...

I just don't know what expect though.

And what we experienced
there in that farm was just...

I think it was weird because
when I walked into this

room, the first thing in my
head was I'm back at saddlers.

It's very familiar as well isn't it, it's
like that home environment like saddlers

I think it just feels

atmosphere wise, when I first went into saddlers
I was like this is fine and then when I sat

down in the living room at saddlers I was a bit
like I don't really feel comfortable here and

this ism this is, this
feels like saddlers farm.

For this very special investigation
we would conduct a number of different

sessions, Charlie armed 4 locked off
cameras which covered the main lounge,

the kitchen, the upstairs
corridor and an area of the top

floor that is renowned for
disembodied footsteps being heard.

Becki, Emma and Rox
began in one of the upstairs

bedrooms as Charlie and
I began in the main lounge.

Our final investigation at pendle hill at
the famous lower well head farm had began.

We have had one of the
craziest weeks of our careers and

tonight it all ends, our week in
pendle investigating the famous

hauntings of pendle hill ends here
tonight at this most famous of locations

We are here at lower
well head farm, lets do this.

Ok so we have just started our lockdown.

We've switched into night vision,
Charlie and I have come down

into the very centre of the house
which is the main lounge here.

The girls are in one of
the upstairs bedrooms and

upstairs feels absolutely
like so atmospheric and weird

I think it's the house has gone
different after we've been in it do

you get what I mean? It's almost
like when you step into the house

thats when it changes.

It changes completely
yeah you're dead right.

Now we are in one of the oldest
sections here, these wood panels

Beautiful like.

Very original yeah, we've got a
lovely fire place over here its...

I'm quite worried about
Beck, she doesn't feel good.

I know, I know with her coming in like she
said she feels sick and that and then she

stepped out off camera and she felt better
and now she's come back in and it's after...

Just off camera guys it's yeah,
Becks not feeling well at all erm...

She stepped out the
house and felt fine, come

back in and she's getting
these waves of nausea.

which is already a bit
of a disturbing sign erm...

It was a bit weird with
me and Emma as well

And when we were rigging up cameras,

Pains in the chest when we were coming
downstairs and I just though you know...

I'm quite a big man so is
it thingy, pains in the chest

because of that but then Emma
described exactly the same.

In exactly the same spot.

Exactly the same place but
way after I had it, it's mad.

Theres a really, really weird feeling.

in this house now.

I felt quite calm when I
first came in and now...

Yeah it's changed hasn't it?

I feel like the
atmosphere is really thick.

I feel like I'm struggling a bit.

Like theres pressure.

Like theres a weight on you.

Yeah.

I think the more the weeks gone on

I don't even think we know
what to expect no more.

Because you look at saddlers I
weren't expecting to get that at all.

No I know.

Not in the slightest.

And to a certain extent

I didn't feel like this at saddlers
like it had an atmosphere to it

but it wasn't really until we
started getting activity through that

it was like electric

Yeah, yeah.

In the atmosphere, whereas here...

I just feel like theres, I feel like
theres pressure pushing down on me.

I feel wobbly, like a littlest wobbly.

Yeah wobbly and light headed.

It's really bizarre.

Yeah with the decoration of the house
it's lovely and welcoming it's nice and...

And thats how I felt first when I came in.

See but at saddlers

I was fine when I first got in

and then when I sat down

it felt like, it almost felt like it
was the calm before the storm but

like wherever I turned there
was someone watching all the

time, thats how I felt, like
I couldn't move without...

I think we were surrounded in saddlers.

And there was something definitely
behind that chair, without fail.

Whereas here I feel really anxious.

I feel like on edge.

Yeah like I'm waiting for

dunno...

And I don't know if it's
just because of saddlers.

Possibly.

That we almost like, its brought
like you said downstairs like...

it reminded you of saddlers straight away.

But theres definitely, I
feel off, I feel really off.

which I think we're in, we are in.

This is, this is the oldest part of the
house which dates back to the 1600's.

So it was here, potentially

around the time of the witches themselves.

And if it wasn't this particular building

it certainly wasn't built long
after whatever the dwelling was

Original that was on this plot of land.

There was rumours that there
was a morgue wasn't there?

Yeah apparently.

But...

But I mean as far as this
week I think we've certainly

proved that it doesn't matter
where you are in pendle

if you get the following.

You could be in the middle of a field and
if its gonna happen, it's gonna happen.

What freaks me out is the fact that
we've had numerous pieces of evidence

now where we've had voices come
through in numerous different locations

and I swear to god those voices are
from the same, it was the same voice.

It's like a cackle to the voice,
its got the same tone to it.

Which that does lead
me to believe that it's

potentially the same

entity that you're dealing with
that is following you and that is

you know, coming to these places.

I don't like the way that affected Dan.

No, no you could hear in his voice though,

where he was getting
more and more agitated

and then he kept going
more and more and more.

And then that weird
thing where he insisted on

going off by himself
like that weird behaviour.

I think though he needed
time to himself just to...

He seems better tonight.

evidence we have ever seen

joins me in the main lounge

in an attempt to reenact our
session 2 nights ago at saddelrs farm.

I don't like it up on this corridor,
I'm gonna put the EVP on.

is total different atmosphere to
downstairs, up here feels more, I feel

more surrounded I mean like
as if I am being watched here.

I just feel like theres constant
movement out the corners of

my eyes, theres shadows,
theres all sorts going on up here.

I dunno whether it's because
it's higgledy piggledy rooms

Yeah it could be.

Whether its the lighting.

Because there is moonlight
coming in through like obviously

open windows and obviously
the curtains aren't drawn.

And whether it's just
the lighting or what but...

I feel very different up
here than I do downstairs.

I feel very, very uneasy up here.

It does feel different
up here to downstairs.

And we were getting definite
shadows happening as well.

weird noises like shuffling
noises in this corridor and...

shadows moving in that room.

You heard a humming noise as
well didn't you like a moaning noise?

Yeah.

But remember earlier on when
we first came in off camera we

thought we thought we could
hear a dragging sound upstairs.

Yeah exactly.

Yeah.

Ok so right now Emma
has joined me downstairs,

Charlie has moved upstairs
to meet with Beck and Rox.

Erm... there is not a very
nice feeling upstairs at all in this

house, its very different on
the layers so down here it feels

Calmer.

Reasonably calm yeah, Charlie and me did
get the sensation of being watched but...

you know, it could be
our imagination, this

is the end of the week
we're knackered erm...

but there is a definite change between
down here and upstairs now Emma has

hit me with a brilliant idea, a very
risky one but you said it would be good

to reenact what we did at saddlers.

Yeah.

Understandably I'm against
this after what happened but...

what we got through the puck was
undeniable evidence it was incredible.

And unexpected cos it was so quiet,

and then it was just like that and that was it
then for the rest of the night it was almost

as like we weren't communicating with them,

and during our 1st session as the girls
claimed they were seeing shadows, our

locked off camera monitoring a section
of the upstairs corridor captured this...

Good morning, this is

the final diary entry of the week.

Last night we completed our investigation
at lower well head farm and it was

a really, really interesting
night and Charlie,

something really weird
happened to Charlie and erm...

and Beck at the beginning as well.

In terms of activity we didn't

I don't think we got anything

on the scale of what we had at saddlers.

Erm... obviously we've not been
through the locked off camera

footage, we've not been through
the digital voice recordings.

Erm...

But it was a really interesting place.

And I can't believe it's all over,
I can't believe it's done now.

Tiredness

isn't even the word, it has
just been one of the most

draining and incredible weeks
that we've ever had as a team.

And very shortly we'll be checking
out of the hotel and heading home.

So what are your thoughts on
what happened at pendle hill?

So we've been back a couple of
weeks now and I think we've all

had chance to sit down and
reflect on what happened that week.

And I think that we all feel
it was a fascinating time.

Erm... a fascinating experience, we set out
with the goal at the very beginning to find

the strongest evidence possible to suggest
that pendle hill and the surrounding areas

are haunted by the spirits
of the pendle witches.

I think what did it for me personally
was the progression so night 2 which

was the first sort of mini investigation
at the cottage which was uncovered,

we didn't really get a
lot you know, that was

to be expected really,
night 3 at the barn

thats when things started to
get really weird and then what

Charlie and I experienced at
newchurch the following night.

But it was saddlers
farm that things became

really, really weird, really strange and
the evidence became extremely strong.

Part of what we set out to do
was find the site of malkin tower.

And you know there are 4
possible sites of where it is.

I think the strongest evidence
we found that week was

that saddlers farm does sit
on the site of malkin tower.

We can't sit here and say that we
found 100% proof that pendle hill is

haunted by the spirits of the pendle
witches, we can't do that's impossible.

What we can say is
that what we experienced

and what happened in saddlers farm

is the strongest possible evidence
we could have got I think, I think,

we pushed the limits

we used techniques that

not everyone agrees with but
again it is a fine example of how

things like provocation can
work, also switching to 17th century

dialect that was a key example of
how that worked at saddlers farm.

and what we did get was...

a residual conversation between 2
women, one of them was very elderly.

They were speaking in 17th
century dialect and they were plotting

to get us out of that building.

and that for me...

was incredible evidence and

we all had a big meeting when we
got back from pendle hill and we all

discussed everything, we went
through all the pieces of evidence that

we didn't realise we'd captured
when we were there and Charlie

did such a fantastic job going
through as much as possible

during the day but...

getting the chance to all sit
down together and go through it all

only strengthened our
claims that we did get

very, very solid evidence that there
is something happening at pendle hill.

That moment at lower well head farm

when we realised what we had
caught on the locked off camera,

and that for all of us and we all agree
on thesis our best ever piece of evidence.

We don't know what it was, what
we think it was, was a cloaked figure

but the fact lower well
head farm was built

on a morgue, it could
have been anything.

Now I don't believe it was a
full manifestation, I think it was,

progressing to a full
manifestation now I've seen a full

manifestation before and it's
like looking at a solid human figure

erm...

this was see through

and that I believe was the
start of the manifestation.

It was absolutely incredible

I went out to pendle
hill in January and I said

it was about time that we do a
thorough investigation of this place.

We did that,

we found

incredible evidence

and

what happened at saddlers
farm and lower well head farm

will stay with us forever because

to capture evidence like
that is such a are thing and

I think a lot of people
will sit there and watch

this and they'll say,
that's incredible but

that doesn't happen all the time
on an investigation and they'll be

right, it doesn't happen every time
on an investigation but what you're

effectively seeing is
hours and hours of work

hours and hours of research and

the switch of certain
techniques progressing

in a location to gain these results.

And not everyone will
agree with the way we go

about things and thats
absolutely fine thats part of

the paranormal you know, if we were all
the same it would be extremely boring but

we use

things like provocation in
certain locations for a reason

and the results speak for themselves.

We set out to gain evidence
and thats what we got.

Without using these certain
techniques I don't think it

would have been possible
to gain that type of evidence.

Pendle hill is

is an incredible place
and I urge everyone to go

there just for a walk around
because the atmosphere

speaks for itself you know, the
atmosphere is so strong at that place and

it is one of the most
unique locations in the UK.
