Now if that's the case, I'm about to lead my team into one

of the most dangerous investigations we have ever done.

This is pool park asylum.

My name is Danny moss, I've been involved in the paranormal for over 10 years.

I believe the key to a successful investigation

is techniques, do your homework and stay rational.

You can't perform a thorough investigation without first looking to debunk things.

Now I believe I've seen it all in this industry, from people's wild imaginations

to solid evidence and my job is to separate the facts, from the fiction.

Our investigation takes US to pool park asylum in north

wales. Now this location has got some crazy reports behind it.

People being scratched, pushed and even demonic voices being captured. Now I did a

recce at the location and I captured something really disturbing on the sb7 spirit box.

possible spirit voices in the atmosphere.

The device scans a range of frequencies producing a white noise and

we have had some crazy intelligent responses through it in the past.

With so many reports of supposed demonic activity taking place at the location.

To capture a man's voice saying 'baal' which is

the actual name of a demon was really disturbing.

But what is it that lurks behind the shadows of pool park asylum?

Pool park asylum lies just outside the town of ruthin in

north wales and was constructed as a manor house in 1862.

In 1937 the house was sold to the north wales counties mental hospital which was in dire

need of a second location to house overflow patients from the nearby denbigh mental asylum.

Pool park asylum went on to house 87 patients

and at it's busiest it held up to 120.

For a brief period during world war 2, the building was also used

as a prisoner of war camp. It has stood abandoned since 1990.

Reports of paranormal activity within this building have become very frequent over the last

20 years. From the sounds of tortured, disembodied screams coming from the empty rooms.

To people being physically attacked. Pool park asylum is believed to

have been a location used for satanic rituals since it has lay abandoned.

Does a demonic presence wander these hallways? Or is it

the souls of the mentally ill that are still trapped here?

Is it possible that there are no hauntings here at all and this dark,

abandoned, old asylum is playing games with people's imaginations?

My leading camera lady and investigator becki is about to

step foot inside pool park asylum with me, for the first time.

My name is becki Salisbury-moss. I've been interested in the paranormal for about the last 10

years and I've been investigating for about the last 5 years and recording evidence on video.

I think it's really important to go into an investigation with a clear

and rational mind and don't let your imagination run away with you

and try to have as much equipment with you as possible to try

and record as much evidence as you can possibly get on video.

It's almost like you can hear light murmuring.

This place has got such a crazy atmosphere!

Now the human hearing is so poor that we don't always hear what's going on in

real time, so these devices can actually be really useful in an investigation.

decided to continue exploring this huge building.

Now during the walk around the atmosphere

inside the building was really quite strange.

I didn't really know what to make of it and I know Beck didn't either.

It was when we got upstairs onto the second level that the

atmosphere changed. Personally I thought it lifted a bit.

Now it was at this point that we heard this strange banging sound coming from back downstairs

where we were and then I received a text message from hq saying to call them immediately.

Now it was only when reviewing the digital voice recorder the following

day that we realised at this point, we captured a class a evp.

Now capturing this evp was just incredible because me and Beck

didn't feel like anything was really happening on the walk around.

Now when we got outside, I called hq immediately, who informed me of a really

interesting video captured by a guy called Karl from dark arts paranormal.

They sent me over the video and I just had to call him straight away

and question him on what I'd seen because it was really disturbing!

I'm just about to phone Karl from dark arts paranormal. Now hq have just called

in to say they have come across a really interesting and terrifying video

of what happened to Karl and his team inside this location.

Erm... well pool park is... I'd say 100% a place of scientific research. The, the

things that go on in there are just so unexplained and mind boggling it's unbelievable!

When I got pulled back that night, erm... it was almost as if there was like magnets

repelling against me and pulling me backwards and I've got no explanations for it whatsoever

but all I know is that there is something there and, and I do believe

the place is some kind of portal for energy. Especially negative ones.

Yeah, I definitely reckon there's some kind of negative energy going on

in there. Erm... it did used to be a prisoner of war camp at one point.

Erm... also a former psychiatric hospital so you know, a lot of erm... patients and people had a

lot of mistreatment, things like that so, you know, I do kind of believe that when they passed over

they kind of reside there and you know, they are negative towards people and

stuff like that. Erm... yeah definitely, I do believe it's a portal of negativity.

and Charlie went upstairs to make sure that there is no other person in this building

and we can confirm that there wasn't. What ever we are hearing upstairs is not an

animal, it's not a human but there is full on walking and dragging sounds above US!

We had quite an overwhelming feeling that we were

being watched from all angles of the room really.

So, we walked into this one room and I was at the back of the

group and I was filming and as I literally walked through the door,

it was like this massive wave of travel sick, nausea just came

over me, just literally went from like my toes, right up my body

and I think I actually might have said as I walked through

the door, 'god, like this big wave of nausea has just hit me'

and it was like no sooner had I said that, then Dan started like, spitting on

the floor and I didn't know what he was doing and then he just started being sick

and I was kind of equal parts like, really freaked

out and wanted to rush over and make sure he was ok.

And then the other part of me was absolutely

petrified and I just wanted to get out of that room!

We are locked down inside pool park asylum and in a final attempt to gain

answers, we head to the main staircase where Charlie slowly begins to deteriorate.

We're here now and the paranormal puck device is at the top of the stairs. That's gonna

measure hundreds and thousands of particles around it to hopefully bring through a word,

whatever is in this house seems to be toying

with US and won't come through easily.

deteriorate and it was really quite disturbing witnessing that

the moment we walked in to that building, it, it was just horrific.

By this point in the investigation, Charlie was starting to get severely affected

and obviously everyone who was in the room with US was starting to notice that

his attitude was changing, the colour in his face had gone and

obviously it wasn't nice to see somebody affected so bad by a location.

By this point of the night, I started to feel mixed emotions. I felt angry,

I was crying, we had a particular part of evidence that came through the puck

that said 'Jesus' and for some reason it overwhelmed me and I just wanted to

break down and cry, erm... then it was almost from crying, straight to anger

as if something didn't want to let me get out of my emotions

but wanted me to react differently and pull me towards the anger

that maybe somebody felt there at that time and the pains I was

feeling was almost like, if somebody was stabbing me in the side.

My chest was hurting,i was aching, the sweats come. It was just

horrific to feel that, that I've never felt in a different location.

I've been to a variety of locations and this just wasn't right, it didn't sit right,

it felt different. This location was pretty much one of the worst I've been to.

Pool park asylum had finally defeated US. The entire team were

in so much fear that I decided to shut the investigation down.

The things we had experienced were extremely negative and it was no

longer about catching evidence, it was about the safety of the team.

It was the following day that we realised pool park asylum had given US one

I don't really know what happened that night. I don't think I've ever been on

an investigation before where the things that happened to all of US, happened

and the feelings that certainly I felt and I

know a lot of the rest of the group also felt.

We've been to a lot of places, we've investigated a lot of really scary places and I

have never ever sworn I would never go back to a place again, like pool park asylum.

Pool park asylum is, without a doubt one of the most disturbing locations we

have ever been to and I have never ever seen my team in so much fear before.

Now not only was I sick as well but to realise that

we had captured not one but two, intelligent evp's

was incredible but terrifying. I mean, the evp captured on the stairs with Charlie,

the voice resembled that of the one we'd caught on the recce and that for

me is one of the most disturbing things because of the intelligence of it.

I'm so glad that I shut down the investigation when

I did because who knows what could have happened?

We definitely won't ever be returning to pool park asylum.
