[instrumental music playing]
[Ms. Gunderson] No, no, no, it's all wrong.
I said I need something elegant and refined.
-But also youthful and eye-catching. -[chomping]
And ugh, has someone been chewing on this?
I'm terribly sorry Mrs. Gunderson.
Let me see if I can find you something else.
[barking]
Never mind.
-Muffin needs a new collar from the pet department. -[panting happily]
[babying] Don't you, Muffin? Don't you, Muffin?
[chuckles awkwardly]
[elevator bell dings]
[elevator music playing]
Ugh. What is taking so long?
[loud thud]
Oh, what now?
[whimpering]
-[electrical buzzing] -[growling menacingly]
-Huh? [screaming] -[dog whimpering]
Going down? [laughing menacingly]
[theme music playing]
[bats screeching]
โช Scooby-Dooby-Doo And Guess Who? โช
โช We know you're One in a million โช
โช Scooby-Doo โช
โช We can count on you, Scooby-Doo โช
โช To catch and unmask That villain โช
[Fred] Hold the phone. It's Tim Gunn.
Oh! You'll hear from my... my lawyers,
-and my... oh, my husband's going to... -[grunts]
-I'm gonna... [mumbling] -Oh!
On behalf of Dergfall Boldman's department store,
I cannot express how sorry we are, Ms. Gunderson.
I promise this will never happen again.
-[vehicle approaching] -You see...
...I even called these mystery-solving teens
to help get to the bottom of things.
You needn't bother, Mr. Monday.
I will never shop here again.
I'll be going to Lomely's from now on,
and I'll be telling all of my friends
to do the same. Hmph.
Argh. You kooky kids have to help me.
If this haunted elevator nonsense
continues for much longer,
we'll be out of business in a month.
Well, you called the right mystery-solvers, Mr. Monday.
As a regular customer myself,
I would never want to see Dergfall Boldman's
close its beautiful doors.
I don't get it.
Are these clothes, or art, or what?
[giggles]
I dunno. Both?
Clothes art. Clart!
[both laughing]
We're clarting!
[kisses]
-[Velma] Shaggy! Scooby! -[Scooby-Doo] Mm-hmm.
Come on guys, let's go have a look inside.
[growling]
[Shaggy] Wow!
Get a load of this place, will ya?
Dergfall Boldman's is one of the oldest
and most famous department stores in the city.
Well, it sure is fancy.
Fancy people, fancy clothes...
Fancy perfume.
[humming]
[coughing]
[giggles]
Nice going, Scoob!
And that perfume's called An-shan-tay.
Smells nice, doesn't it?
It's French.
Like I kinda wish it smelled a little more like french fries.
You see what I did there?
[laughs]
French fries.
Good one, Shaggy. [laughs] I get it.
[giggles] Okay.
I sure hope you folks are here about the ghost.
I would hate to see this place shut down.
I love it here.
My first job in the big city.
Can't get more fashionable than Dergfall Boldman's.
Come on, gang. Let's start with the elevator.
That's where Ms. Gunderson got her scare.
Good luck.
Uh, you can go home, Marla.
We'll be closing early tonight
so these mystery solvers can catch our ghost.
Sure thing, Mr. Monday.
Ms. Gunderson said she saw the ghost in this center elevator.
[elevator dings]
[suspenseful music plays]
-[all gasp] -Wah!
Hello, kids. Going up?
[gasps] Jeepers, it's...
Fashion icon Tim Gunn!
Well, thank you.
I heard that this grand old elevator
has finally been restored to its original design,
so I had to come and see it for myself.
Unfortunately we're here for a different reason, Mr. Gunn.
We solve mysteries,
and someone just reported seeing a ghost.
A scary ghost. Like this.
[mimicking ghostly sounds]
Thank you, Scooby-Doo.
Very informative.
But a ghost? Here?
In Dergfall Boldman?
That will never do.
We have to get to the bottom of this immediately.
-[alarmed cry] Oh! -[both] Huh!
What is it Mr. Gunn?
Did you see the ghost?
No, but this display is a nightmare.
Hmm!
Ah! Oh...
Hmm.
Ah, much better.
You know my very first job
was decorating windows right here at Dergfall Boldman.
I guess some habits die hard.
Preach, sister.
And I must say, you're the most fabulous looking
teen mystery solvers
I've seen in a very long time.
Fred, that dashing neckerchief...
And Velma, those retro glasses
and the way your hair perfectly frames your face...
Daphne, your purple dress is just too darling.
Hmm.
Maybe some cute brown boots to go along with it?
No, forget I said that, it's perfect the way it is.
And Scooby,
the inexplicably pleasing randomness of your spots...
And...
[horrified groan]
Like dude, what's wrong with my duds?
Honestly? They're hideous.
Hid-eee-ous! With a capital H!
But not to worry, Shaggy.
I'll make it my personal mission
to find you the perfect style.
You hear that, Scoob?
Tim Gunn is giving me a fashion fix-up. [laughs]
A dream come true.
I think. Right?
You know it, Scoobs! [laughs]
But first, we have a mystery to solve.
Mr. Tim Gunn is right.
We should split up and look for clues.
Velma, Daphne, and I
will start by talking to the manager.
While Mr. Gunn, Scoob, and I go check out the basement.
[both] The basement?
Yeah. The basement?
Like hoo-hoo, trust me, dude.
Shaggy, I don't think you've ever volunteered
to go into the basement before.
Like, I'm not much of a shopper, Daph,
but I do know the one thing
that all fancy department stores
have in their basements.
The clearance rack?
Like, no. Well, yeah, but no.
The cafeteria, dude.
[laughs]
[joyfully] Yes! The cafeteria!
Oh, Raggy.
[elevator dings]
Like, this doesn't look like the cafeteria.
I'm scared, Tim Gunn.
-[thuds] -[grunts]
Relax, Scooby,
I've been down here hundreds of times,
there's nothing to be afraid of.
Except maybe the color scheme of Shaggy's clothing. [scoffs]
-[horrific scream] -[shuddering]
[moaning]
Oh, my aching back.
Oh, see? It's only the chef.
[both in relief] Yes.
And it's the cafeteria.
Cafeteria's closed.
[both] No!
Closed? Oh!
Can't you make one little exception
for some hungry shoppers?
And talking dogs?
And well dressed ghost catchers?
Ghosts. Hmph.
That ghost is the best thing ever happened to this place.
I hope this department store does go out of business.
I hate cooking
for all of the snooty customers
with their weird diets, dogs in purses.
Argh!
-[Tim] Shaggy, come quick! -[both] Huh?
Is it a clue?
Is it food?
No, it's even better.
The clearance rack.
Cool, man.
You find any fresh new styles for me?
Hmm...
No.
We have to find something for you and quickly.
That combo of yours is hurting my eyes...
And my soul.
Maybe we start with what you have at home.
Imagine your closet...
[straining]
[Shaggy] Uh, like, okay, fashion dude.
[Tim Gunn] Tell me what you see.
[Shaggy] Like I see a lot of green and brown.
Oh! Hold on a minute.
How'd this get in here?
Oh! That one's mine.
[laughs]
Like, I guess, I'm a fashion failure.
[sad chuckle]
Yes. Yes, you are.
But, I will find you the perfect new look.
[Scooby whimpering]
Don't be scared, Scoob.
They're just mannequins. See?
[taps]
Hey! What's the big idea?
-[both screaming] -It's okay, you two, calm down.
Mr. Wilkins?
That's you, isn't it?
Hey, I know you.
You used to do the windows when you were a youngster.
We're looking for the ghost of the haunted elevator.
Have you seen anything suspicious?
No, but I'd be just fine
if this whole department store closes down
because of that ghost.
I can't stand cleaning up
after all of these snooty shoppers
and their spoiled, yippity dogs.
I'm not snooty.
And I'm not yippity.
-[electrical crackling] -[all gasp]
[growling]
[electricity crackling]
Like, did you hear that?
[whimpering]
[electricity crackling]
[roars]
[crackling]
[all whimpering]
[dramatic music plays]
[menacing growl]
[laughs]
[Scooby-Doo] They went that way.
Huh?
[appreciative growl]
[roars]
[growling]
-[all grunt] -[groans]
[switch clicks]
[switch clicks]
-[growls] -[elevator dings]
[all panting]
[growling]
[all sigh]
[roars]
[whistling]
Stop right there!
That's right. We're the fashion police.
Let's have a look here.
Oh, no, this will never do.
I'm seeing several serious fashion infractions.
But we can fix it.
Scooby, straighten that tie.
But he doesn't have a tie.
Make it work, dude.
[effort grunt]
Shaggy, I need 15% more jaunt in that cap.
Now how about a nice camelhair overcoat.
A silk scarf should finish the look.
[muffled growl]
Like, dude, I don't think he digs your fashion advice.
[roars]
Apparently not.
Do we run again?
You catch on quick, Mr. Gunn.
Run!
[roars angrily]
[frustrated growl]
[sighs] I think we lost him.
Like, let's skedaddle outta here!
No! Stop!
I simply cannot bear it one second longer.
I mean, you're actually wearing...
[dramatically] Bell-bottoms.
[roaring]
[Shaggy] Ahhh!
[growling]
[Shaggy whimpering]
Now, let's see...
[gasps]
-Hmm. -No.
-Hmm. -Um, no.
-Hmm. -Mmm, no.
-Ah... -No, no.
-[grunts] -Uh-oh.
-[grunts] -[frustrated] No.
[growls]
[Shaggy] Ahhh!
Too fussy.
Too silly.
Too straight laced.
Too frilly.
[roars]
Zoinks!
Ahhh!
Oh, heavens!
[growling]
[intense music plays]
The dinner fork goes to the right of the salad fork.
Please, people.
Keep it together.
[growling]
Ahhh!
[all whimpering]
Who would have the audacity
to tie a half-Windsor knot
with this kind of shirt collar?
[ghost roars]
Have mercy!
[growls]
It sure was nice of that store manager
to let us stay here after closing time.
[Shaggy] Like, look out!
[screaming in fright]
-[grunt] -[crashes]
[all groaning]
It's the ghost!
Scooby-Doo! Get us outta here.
[Scooby-Doo] Buttons, buttons, buttons...
[roars]
[growling]
[growls]
[roars]
That was a close one.
-[elevator thuds] -[all gasp]
[elevator rattling]
What's happening?
[thuds]
And it looks like we've stopped in-between floors.
[elevator dings]
[all] Huh?
[Tim] This must be the fabled 13th floor.
It was rumored to exist,
but no one ever knew how to find it.
All of Scooby and Shaggy's button pushing
in the elevator must have opened the secret door.
Forgotten floor, eh?
It sure doesn't look very forgotten.
I'd recognize a designer studio anywhere.
Someone's been a busy little bee in here.
And I must say,
this is first class pattern-making.
Hey gang, check this out...
[Daphne] It's a sketchbook.
[suspiciously] No...
It can't be.
Can it?
Well, it does look a lot like a sketchbook, Mr. Gunn.
No, Fred, I'm referring to whom it belongs.
Or used to belong.
This is the work of the legendary fashion designer
Miko Monreal.
[gasps] Miko Monreal?
I've been wearing her designs my whole life.
You said it, Daphne.
Miko Monreal was so famous
that she could only work in secret.
She'd be gone for weeks
and then she would show up out of the blue
with new fashion designs
that rocked the world.
This must be her secret workroom.
And now some sneaky sally
is trying to make actual garments
from Miko Monreal's old designs.
-The question is, who? -[elevator dings]
[sinister music plays]
[roars]
-[all scream] -Zoinks!
-[growls] -[groans]
Shaggy, catch!
[growls]
Yikes!
[whimpering]
It's after the sketchbook.
Right you are, Velma.
But, you know who doesn't want the sketchbook?
Shaggy doesn't want the sketchbook.
Scooby-Doo doesn't want it either.
-[roars] -[thuds]
[roars]
[surprised roar]
To the elevator.
Chop chop!
[roaring]
[effort grunt]
[elevator dings]
[gang and Tim] Huh?
-[roars] -[all gasp]
-Huh? -Huh?
[gang exclaims]
[Scooby-Doo] Run!
[all whimpering]
[Shaggy] A kitchen?
Like maybe we can whip something up?
I'm so hungry.
[horrific roar]
Like, I just lost my appetite.
Quick, everyone follow me.
[roars]
[growling]
Like, employees only, man.
[angry growl]
[growls]
Huh?
[soft growl]
[sniffing]
[blows]
-[sniffing] -[blows]
[sneezes]
-[roars] -[all scream]
-[roars] -[all scream]
-[roars] -[all scream]
-[roars] -[all scream]
Hey, it's Tim Gunn. [chuckles]
Make it work.
We're trying. We're trying.
[roaring]
[scared] Yikes!
[growling]
Shaggy, do something.
[roars]
Yikes!
Here. Just don't hurt me man.
[ghostly laughter]
[gang] Shaggy!
I told you to do something.
I did. I like, cowered and begged for my life.
Really good cowering, Shaggy.
You gave him the book.
I know.
101 Recipes for Brownies.
I grabbed it from the display in the kitchen section.
Hold the phone.
It was a cookbook?
I still have the sketchbook right here...
-[gang exclaims] -...safe and sound.
See? Teamwork.
If that's what the ghost really wants,
then that means we have the perfect bait...
...to set the perfect trap.
-[elevator dings] -[ghostly laughter]
Huh?
[growls angrily]
Shaggy, Scooby...
You keep that ghost's attention,
and we'll take care of the rest.
[roaring in distance]
Here it comes.
Let's do this.
Man, they didn't even say good luck.
Good luck, Shaggy.
Thanks Scoob, buddy, old pal.
I can always count on you, bud.
-[roaring] -[scared] Here he comes.
[loud roar]
Huh?
Going up?
Second floor, bedding and accessories.
Third floor, women's shoes.
[groans]
Fourth floor, sporting goods.
[groans]
Fifth floor, automotive...
[surprised growl]
Sixth floor, kitchen.
[growls softly]
We did it, dude.
[laughs]
Well done, Shaggy and Scooby.
And now let's see
who this ghostly, ghastly elevator operator really is.
Pull off the mask, Fred.
Wait, stop.
Carry on.
[all] Marla the friendly sales girl?
Like, it's always the nice ones.
I'm shocked.
What is this world coming to?
It makes perfect sense.
Marla's big dream of being a fashion designer
started with her getting a job here at Dergfall Boldman.
That's when she discovered the secret door
in the recently renovated elevator.
[Tim] Everyone who's ever worked here,
including me, has heard
the legend of the hidden 13th floor,
but Marla was the first to actually find it.
[Velma] Well, second if you count Miko Monreal.
When Marla found her lost sketchbook,
she decided to use Miko Monreal's designs
as her own.
[Daphne] She used the haunted elevator
as a way to keep everyone away.
I was almost ready to unveil
my fashion line to the world.
I would have been the biggest name in haute couture.
And I would have gotten away with it, too,
if it weren't for you meddling kids
and style icon Tim Gunn.
Oh, dear.
Stealing the work of others
is a big no-no, Marla.
And you should have known better.
But...
I just have to compliment you
on the tailoring of your creepy ghost suit.
The top- stitching was a fabulous detail. Bravo.
[happily] Oh! You really mean it?
Oh, thank you, Mr. Gunn.
That means so much coming from you.
Even when getting hauled away by the police,
Tim Gunn can make you feel good about yourself.
It's what I do.
It was such an honor to meet you, Mr. Gunn.
The pleasure was all mine, Daphne.
I had fun chasing ghosts and solving mysteries.
But before we say farewell,
I have something exciting to show you.
When I first set out to give Shaggy a new style,
I owed it to him and the entire world
to rid it of such a hideous outfit.
But, then I noticed something fascinating.
The loose collar and open neckline of his shirt
actually allows it to balloon out,
creating a jet propulsion,
increasing his speed by 28.54%.
The almost clown-like nature of his shoes,
gives him 36% more grip on the floor
to enable running, skidding, leaping
and general feats of freaking out.
[door slams]
Shaggy's bell bottom pants,
oh heavens, I actually just said the word
"bell bottoms" aloud,
allow him to aerodynamically pedal above ground
before zipping off into a speedy exit.
So, in conclusion,
I discovered Shaggy's outfit is very practical.
It's built for speed.
Speed for running away, but there you have it.
And, as a bonus,
his loose flowing shirt
allows Shaggy to eat as much as he wants
and never have any unsightly tummy showing.
Therefore, I give you Shaggy Rogers
at his fashionable best.
Like, dudes, what do you think?
He looks the same, right?
I know, and it's perfect.
Exactly, Daphne.
It's just perfect.
This outfit may not be the most stylish,
but it works on every level for Shaggy,
and Shaggy, you totally...
[all] Make it work!
[theme music playing]
