So that's why I got back in touch with Grace.

We went to film school together.

I thought that if Grace and I teamed up,

We could do something pretty interesting,

Where do they come from?

This whole thing I don't think people know exists,

That there are actual real dead people walking around.

They go by different names.

Decedents, the non-living community,

Revenants, the living dead, zombies.

But whatever they are, they are real.

The condition is caused by a virus of unknown origin.

It's been designated R-428,

And it effects the brain and central nervous system.

Now, we don't know how it's contracted,

But we do know that it lies dormant until

The moment of death, and then at that time,

The virus acts as a re-animating agent.

Some become very aggressive,

Some lose the capacity for speech,

Others retain a certain amount of reason,

But technically, they're dead.

To increase public awareness,

To help the government better understand

The needs of this growing community.
