Apparently, this morning
our main studio had

an electrical fire.

Now, luckily no
one was injured.

However, it caused extensive
damage to the entire

building's electrical system,
including our transmitters,

which I'm told are toast.

They are making repairs as we
speak, however, we will not be

able to broadcast from
our building for

at least another month.

This is my busiest
time of year!

Liam is gonna hand out your
assigned radio stations

where you will
be working.

Unfortunately, there were not
enough spots inside of the city,

so some of you have been
relocated to some smaller

suburbs and some towns.

saw a sign that said Bethlehem,

founded Christmas Eve.

Well, there was a group of
missionaries who went from town

to town, preaching, living with
the locals, but eventually

they needed to have a place
to call their own.

Now, it was Christmas Eve.

And they stopped right around
where the town square is.

Well, they enjoyed it so
much, they decided to build

a settlement on
Christmas Eve, 1896.

And seeing that they were
missionaries and it was

Christmas Eve and all,
they called it Bethlehem.

Ahh.

Would you be interested in
coming down to the station,

maybe doing a little

about the history
of Bethlehem?

Oh, no, no, no, I'm,
I'm not an expert.

You should get in touch with
the town's Historical Society.

The man who runs it, Scott
Chapman, knows everything

About 10 years ago, the
town was in bad shape.

Tourism was down.

We were shutting down community
programs left and right,

just so we wouldn't go bankrupt,
when an anonymous benefactor

donated enough money
to save the town.

Set up all the community
programs, events,

historical society, set them all
up for the next 100 years.

Wait a minute, 100 years?

Yes, and now with
all the programs,

the town's
population is up.

And because of all the events
from the Historical Society,

tourism has been
increasing exponentially.

Wow.

So, no one has ever tried
to figure out who

this Secret Santa is?

Oh, they tried to figure
that out years ago.

They wanted to give award to say
thank you, that sort of thing.

But nothing was
ever found.

Huh.
