(My Dangerous Wife)

I trusted you.

You're all I need.

We believe that Kim Yoon-chul's footprints

and the traces of blood in the car trunk

were intentionally placed to frame him as the kidnapper.

She loved you very much.

Even though she knew you were cheating on her with another woman,

she couldn't show that she knew because she loved you that much.

Thank you very much.

And also my dear family members.

Even if you what you're giving me is poison,

I'll drink it.

Suspicion is spreading throughout my body like poison.

What will you do if your wife faked her kidnapping?

What will you do if your wife is behind this?

Was she planning this for a long time?

This was in there.

What is this?

The person who needs to hide the poisoned wine.

We need to find that person.

I wonder what else you hid.

I have a feeling that there are more hidden keys that I may not know of.

A wife with an unexpected twist!

Are you looking for this?

You should've trusted me.

So it was you?

I wanted you to be in pain.

Are you stupid or naive?

Why would I carry around a critical piece of evidence?

We have a problem.

I think Song Yoo-min was killed.

I think this case...

is just getting started.

I'm sure there's an accomplice.

I think he was killed to be silenced.

We should have a drink on a day like this.

We're finally drinking it together.

Forever till death do us apart.

It was a ridiculous contract from the start.

But what can we do?

We already made a promise.

Do you know something?

Revenge is a poison you drink, wishing the other person would die.

We already drank the poison.

Till death do us apart...

we'll be together.

Let's celebrate!

To our new beginning.

Cheers.

It's okay!

I told you this doesn't have any poison in it!

Drink.

Does it taste good?

Answer me.

I knew you would like it.

(Episode 5: Scary Marriage Life)

I was terrified.

I thought it was a person.

What kind of person keeps things like this around?

Ji-tae.

Somebody doused the interior with gasoline.

- What about Mr. Song? - I think he wasn't home.

We can't get in contact with him either.

I can't believe we have an arson case right now.

Detective!

There's something strange here!

I'm...

scared.

It's like he practically worships her like a god.

Is this a shrine?

Do you promise to love each other

till death parts you apart?

- Yes, I will. - Yes, I will.

The bride will place the ring on the groom's finger.

Hold on.

It's your turn now.

Come on.

You're up early.

Yes.

You're up early.

I'll hurry. Wait a little.

(More questions about kidnapping rise with arson)

(Most likely suspect burns all evidence and disappears!)

(More questions about kidnapping rise with arson)

I guess she didn't kill him.

Then did she hide it somewhere else?

(Ms. Jin)

(Ms. Jin)

I recharged it for you.

Isn't it an important call?

It seemed like you kept getting text messages.

It's important! Please call me right away!

Right now, I'm...

Did she...

get rid of his body without a trace?

What are you doing?

I thought I should shine my shoes.

Breakfast's ready.

Okay.

Honey.

Eat the porridge while it's still hot.

Oh, right.

To be honest,

I hate porridge.

It's porridge.

It's porridge.

I...

hate porridge!

I hate it to death!

Shim Jae-kyung, I hate you too!

Honey, the porridge will get cold at this rate.

Okay.

It's good.

I shouldn't have tried to find out more about my wife.

My wife is...

more dangerous than I thought.

You should drink it too.

Here.

Do I have to live in fear like this for the rest of my life?

That was for your face.

Honey.

What's wrong?

I'm going to wash my face again.

Did you try calling?

Yes, I did.

It's the police again.

What are you going to do now?

What do you mean?

The two of us need to overcome this obstacle together.

We're married, after all.

You know Mr. Song Yoo-min, right?

Yes.

His studio was destroyed because of arson.

I saw it on the news.

Did you see him recently?

Once or twice.

Why did you meet him?

I asked for advice regarding my husband's affair.

Then have you ever been to Mr. Song's studio?

No.

Then I guess you didn't know there was a hidden basement in the studio.

A hidden basement?

Doesn't this remind you of someone?

Oh, my!

This...It's me!

Have you recently modeled for him?

No.

I did model for him once when we were in college.

This looks like a recent painting of you.

Do you think he drew this just based on his memories of those days?

Although he burned down the whole building,

he didn't burn this painting.

That means he either cared about this artwork...

or he cares about the subject of this artwork.

I'm so scared.

Is there any chance that the kidnapper in the mask was this person?

No!

He wouldn't ever do such a thing.

Is the police suspecting him?

Yes. At the moment, we are.

There's also a chance that he had an accomplice.

An accomplice?

I want to return to the days when nothing happened.

We'll get the perpetrator.

I'm worried about that too.

I'm very scared about...

finding out who the culprit is.

But you have your trustworthy husband.

Yes.

Oh, right.

What were you two doing last night?

Did you share a bottle of wine to celebrate your safe return?

Yes, it wasn't the wine I wanted, but we enjoyed drinking it.

Last night was...

a very special night.

I'm so glad you returned safely.

What do you think the reason is?

Why do you think he burned down his whole studio,

but he left behind just a painting

that would put him between a rock and a hard place?

Maybe he wanted to show her.

To my wife?

If that's not it, then there must be another motive.

Maybe someone's trying to frame Song Yoo-min as the culprit.

Who would do such a thing?

Don't be too worried.

The culprit will be caught, no matter what.

If Song Yoo-min contacts you or approaches you,

please call us right away.

I will.

What if he's not alive?

What happens if Song Yoo-min's dead?

If he's dead,

then we'll have to figure out why he died.

Jae-kyung.

Is the person on the news the culprit?

We're investigating right now.

The culprit needs to be apprehended soon so we can live in peace.

I'm so sorry that we're making you worry.

You don't have to apologize.

I saw him.

She was worried that he was having an affair.

An affair?

Do you know who she is?

- Thank you. - Hang in there.

Thank you.

I thought he looked suspicious.

I should've reported him right away.

He should get caught soon, right?

Since everybody's so cooperative like this, we hope so.

Goodbye.

Have a good day.

Yes, I'll be back.

Hold on.

Your allergy is...

gone.

Allergy?

Oh, right.

I'll be back.

Even my allergy disappeared in fear.

I knew it.

My wife is a scary woman.

She must've killed that guy, Song Yoo-min.

And she must've gotten rid of the body without a trace.

How did I ever end up with a monster like her?

I need to get a hold of myself.

Hold on.

Five million dollars.

I forgot about the five million dollars.

This means that my wife still has that money.

The hidden money.

I'll find it and run away.

That's my only hope now.

Okay.

Hello?

Mr. Kim.

It's me, Ha Eun-hye.

The money I asked for...

Hello?

Hello?

Honey.

Oh, you scared me.

Are you stressed about something?

No, everything's fine.

Goodness, this is horrific.

I'm sure he won't try to hurt you, just because you made a tip.

You don't think...

he burned...

the five million dollars too, right?

If it was me, I would never do that.

Kidnapping?

No.

Burn five million dollars.

It's a bag she usually never carries around.

Maybe it's to carry the money.

No, it's not what you think.

Where is she planning to go after disguising herself?

Please follow that white taxi in the front.

Sure.

Jae-kyung isn't answering her phone.

Ask him if she's okay.

Okay.

How is Jae-kyung doing?

She's fine. I'll call you later.

Come pick up some chicken.

You should sell those! Why do you keep telling me to take them?

I'm hanging up. I'm busy right now.

Hello.

Oh, welcome!

We just got some coffee beans from Kenya today.

- Is it this? - Yes.

Coffee beans?

What is she up to?

You'll regret it if you don't buy it.

It smells nice.

I guess she didn't kill him.

Does that mean they're still working together?

Why did you start the fire?

If your fingerprints are found, the police may find out.

- And... - I made sure to get rid of them.

What are they talking about? I really want to know!

It's better to be safe than sorry.

I don't want anything to get in your way.

Thank you for looking out for me.

But you can't do things like that without discussing it with me first.

I'll protect you in my own way.

What about the painting?

Did you talk to the police?

Why did you leave a painting like that behind?

If anything happens,

I'll take full responsibility. I'll tell them I did it alone.

That's why I left that behind as evidence.

Yoo-min.

To be honest...

I couldn't bring myself to...

burn down your painting.

That's why...

What am I going to do with you?

Jae-kyung.

- I... - Please...

show me it.

It's the money! I went through hell because of that money!

- Jae-kyung. - Please take good care of it.

What happened?

Last night, I got hurt while we were arguing.

I'm going to kill him.

It's fine, Yoo-min.

You and I wouldn't go this far if it wasn't for him.

It's my choice.

It's my choice too.

No matter what happens,

I'll protect you.

Oh, my!

You scared me.

Honey!

What brings you here?

I...came to buy some coffee beans.

What about you?

I came to study too!

I wanted to study coffee beans.

I should learn a few things so I can be of help to you.

I stopped by a wholesale dealer.

What a coincidence!

It's so good to see you!

Yes.

My goodness.

It feels like we're on a date. It's been a while since our last one.

Shouldn't you go home and get some rest?

I'm resting just by being next to you.

Honey.

Would you teach me about coffee?

- Coffee? - Yes.

You could learn about coffee at the community cultural center.

Let's go to the restaurant.

How many years will you keep these in storage?

I'm not sure. I won't open them for a while.

How old are these?

I had them before the restaurant opened.

So it's about four years old.

It would've been nice if you had made some for our wedding anniversary.

I wonder how old crop of six years tastes.

It probably tastes poison.

Anyway,

do you really want to work here?

Yes.

I can't?

No.

It's not that you can't.

Then don't look so unenthusiastic.

People are watching us.

You're a great husband who is taking even better care of his wife

after she returned safely from a kidnapping.

And the two of us are having a good time as you teach me about coffee.

Coffee may all look the same once they're ready to be served.

But a cup of coffee holds many stories.

You two should go up if you're done.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

There's an endless world of flavors hidden in that black world.

It's very mysterious.

It's like marriage.

When people get married,

they look like everybody else on the outside.

But I'm sure if you look deeper, everybody is different.

Like us.

Why was he there?

Couldn't you have told us you were there?

I thought people were just watching us. I guess people were eavesdropping too.

There are also more people sniffing around too.

Honey.

We should really do a good job, right?

It's so nice to see you outside the house.

You're kind and handsome too.

It's quite refreshing to see you outside.

I guess this is why people prefer eating out than eating home-made meals.

I'll endure this until I get my hands on the money.

Is Ms. Shim going to work with us from now on?

Is Ms. Jin kicked out as we predicted?

Yes. She's definitely out.

Don't jump to conclusions.

We're not jumping to conclusions. I think these are facts.

I think Ms. Shim is here to keep an eye on Mr. Kim, not work.

Mind your own business and focus on your jobs!

Okay, everybody!

You haven't eaten lunch yet, right?

Is it okay if I cook something for you?

I'm an ordinary housewife so it won't be anything special.

But I would like for you to try it.

Welcome back, Shim Jae-kyung.

It wouldn't have been fun if you died too easily.

(Shim Jae-kyung)

(Shim Jae-kyung)

It's perilla seed powder.

The sauce is...

- Thank you for the meal! - Thank you for the meal!

Perilla seed powder and pasta!

It's delicious!

- It's really good! - It's so delicious!

You should try it, Mr. Kim.

Eat up.

Sujebi goes well with perilla seeds.

- It's delicious. - It's really good!

- Really? - It tastes amazing!

I'm so happy!

I feel like you're recognizing my years of experience as a housewife.

Come out through the backdoor.

It's really good.

You seem to have some competition, Chef.

Over here.

What's going on? It's dangerous here.

The real danger's somewhere else.

You still don't know your wife?

I know that my wife's behind everything.

Sweetheart.

Are we just going to let her win?

She has the poisoned wine as evidence.

How?

She switched the wine!

If the police finds out, we're both in trouble.

I thought about this all night.

I won't let her just win like this.

Maybe...

Should we return to how things were in the past?

Five million dollars.

The two of us will steal the money.

What do you think?

Do you know where it is?

My wife's college friend.

He's the accomplice.

The missing Song Yoo-min?

He's crazy about my wife!

He has the money! I confirmed it!

You're back, Kim Yoon-chul.

Do you know what this medication's called?

Querencia.

It's where...

bullfighters would catch their breath...

before entering the ring.

Breathe a little.

Lidomex.

I can breathe a little, thanks to you.

Let's get all the air we need.

We'll steal the five million dollars and get revenge on your wife!

I lost the guy while I was following him.

We need to find out where he is.

I have a plan.

A plan?

(Jin Sun-mi)

(Jin Sun-mi)

- Coffee's ready. - Okay.

Here's the coffee.

- Thank you! - Thank you!

Mission complete.

Things will go as planned.

Erase the message right away.

How is it?

This tastes like...

marriage.

It's delicious.

He left behind the first thing he should've burned.

Was he unable to burn it or did he choose not to?

Either he wanted to save this painting

or he left it behind on purpose.

For what reason?

The objects in the artworks are objects that are in the victim's house.

Were they in a relationship?

He could've drawn them using photos uploaded on Ms. Shim's social media.

What a terrible obsession.

Having an obsession doesn't always lead to committing a crime.

I'm sure there's another motive.

This is the drone found at the arson site.

It's the same model as the one the witness reported.

Plus, we confirmed that he purchased a used drone.

After analyzing the video of Shim Jae-kyung when she was locked up,

there's a good chance that some of the tools found at the arson site

coincide with those in the video.

This means that...

it's highly likely that Ms. Shim was locked up

at Song Yoo-min's art studio.

So you're saying Song Yoo-min got rid of the evidence and ran away.

Or it could be the accomplice is pushing Song Yoo-min into a corner.

Do you think he really has an accomplice?

Or is it all just in your head?

The accomplice will reveal himself soon.

Can't we arrest Song Yoo-min and ask him?

Okay!

We'll get an arrest warrant and turn this into an open investigation.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

The police has named Song Yoo-min as a suspect for Ms. Shim's kidnapping.

He is currently wanted by the police.

The police is searching for Song Yoo-min.

Since he has no priors,

it may be likely that he has another motive besides a financial motive.

The kidnapped victim...

Thank you.

I'm an artist too.

So I know how he feels.

Sometimes, you want to keep drawing someone

even after drawing him or her.

There's no limit to what the heart wants.

But why did he have to go as far as kidnap her?

I don't know.

(When You're Asked Why You Love Someone)

But he probably...

felt like this.

Hall of Love.

By Kim Seung-hee.

Loving someone...

is very grand.

You definitely see the cliff below.

You...

reach the cliff.

You want to take a step from the cliff.

The end of a cliff.

If Kim Yoon-chul's and Shim Jae-kyung's alibis for last night are solid,

then we're left with two possibilities.

Either Song Yoo-min started the fire himself

or another accomplice tried to kill him.

(Suspect)

(Screenshot from baseball stadium's security camera)

(Shim Jae-kyung (37))

No way.

This isn't easy.

We need to carefully approach it.

You think there's something between Shim Jae-kyung and Song Yoo-min, right?

100%.

(Kim Yoon-chul & Shim Jae-kyung)

I don't think this could've been cooked up by a housewife.

Don't underestimates housewives.

Then do you think your wife would be capable of this too?

Don't be ridiculous.

See?

She hasn't called you these few days.

Maybe she's angry.

You should try calling her.

Hey, stop.

Ji-tae.

Hey, you punk!

That punk.

(Ji-tae)

I think she's not answering on purpose.

She started retaliating.

I did nothing so there's nothing to retaliate.

Then is she making the first move?

The first move? How?

Like this?

Today's game is over. Please leave!

One of my favorite authors is an author named Haruki.

One day, the author saw a home run ball at a baseball stadium.

And the author decided to write a novel out of the blue.

I think I saw a home run ball too.

We're closing!

(Little League Victory)

Goodbye.

Yes, good work.

- Good work! - Good work!

Do you want to go home first too?

I wanted to go home together too.

I'm sorry.

I have some work to finish up.

I guess you have a lot on your mind.

Your shoulders are stiff.

The lack of funds is very stressful, right?

I think I can find a way to take care of the problem.

A way?

What is it?

To be honest...

I need to confess something.

I know where the five million dollars are.

What do you mean?

To be honest...

I'm being threatened.

I'll give you the money your husband needs.

If you come to me.

You know I can't do that.

I can't let you return to him!

I had no intention of taking just this money too!

If I have to choose between the two, I'll definitely choose you!

I'm sorry that I lied.

I didn't want you to worry.

No, I'm sorry.

Did that guy do anything else to you?

Let's tell the police first.

You can't.

Even if you report him,

there's no guarantee that we'll get that money back.

Do you have any other ideas?

I might.

As long as you trust me.

If you trust me and wait,

then I'll try to persuade him.

Persuade him?

To return everything back to normal.

As if that incident never happened.

That incident was too big to act as if it never happened.

I can make that happen.

As long as we're together.

You won't come home too late today, right?

I can't wait too long.

You're not scared of me, are you?

You should shave.

It's prickly.

Hello.

I guess you worked here today too.

Yes.

We're about to head home.

I see.

Why are you here this time?

What do you think about us escorting Ms. Shim safely home?

What was Song Yoo-min like?

Yoo-min was only interested in art.

How did you two meet again recently?

It was a coincidence.

A coincidence?

It seemed like it wasn't a coincidence for one of the parties.

Did Song Yoo-min threaten you or demand something from you?

No.

Did you recently model for him?

How many times will you ask me the same question?

I'm sorry if I upset you.

Take a look.

Based on experts' opinions,

that painting was completed over many years

by painting the canvas over and over.

It might still be unfinished.

Detective.

Do you trust your wife?

I guess my question wasn't accurate.

Is your wife a trustworthy person?

Yes.

Where does that conviction come from?

It's because I want to believe that.

So I trust her.

It seems like...

being married is amazing.

Hello.

Do you have the footage from the baseball stadium security cameras?

Did you take a photo of her back?

Taking photos without permission is a crime.

We don't have any footage of the trash can that had the money in it.

Then she could just be a passerby?

A mother who went to deliver cold drinks to sons playing in the heat?

Then...

There could be money or drinks in there.

Check out everybody in the audience.

Yes, sir.

What about your wife?

Did she mention anything?

Why are we talking about my wife?

She was there. The twins were there too.

Do you live apart?

It's over here!

Sons!

It's time for bed!

Didn't I tell you to clean up your toys?

- Hurry up! - I don't want to!

I'm going to scold you!

San! Chan!

- Dad! - Dad!

How have you been?

Dad!

Dad, is this food?

You want to eat it?

No, it's laundry!

Hey, why would you eat dirty clothes?

Why would you eat dirty clothes?

I told you I'm fine with a simple meal.

You're not saying you won't eat it.

Because I will eat it.

What bring you home so early today?

Why?

You're not happy to see me?

- I want to eat too! - I want to eat too!

Hey, hey! Don't eat with your hands!

Didn't you two eat dinner?

- Of course, we did! - Of course, we did!

Chan! San!

- Why? - What?

You know the day you two went to the baseball stadium...

Did you see a woman hand out free ice cream?

Did you eat it without me?

Did you eat it without me?

Okay, okay. Forget it.

Go. Go play.

I heard you were there that day.

You should've been there instead of me that day.

I...

Did you see a woman with a cooler that day?

Is your wife a trustworthy person?

You shouldn't trust your wife too much though.

There's more than meets the eye.

I hope there isn't more than meets the eye.

I think there isn't more than meets the eye.

That scared me.

You scared me.

Why would I scare you?

Did you do something wrong again?

Again? Do I always do something wrong?

Why do you always take Jae-kyung's side? Are you really my sister?

I'm not taking sides.

I just want you two to be happy.

Don't end up like me.

I guess you haven't gone home yet.

You should go home early today.

Jae-kyung's probably still scared to be alone.

I'm more scared! Me!

I'm hanging up.

Oh, my! Hey!

What's wrong with him?

My goodness!

Can you please warn me before you show up?

Weren't you waiting for me?

Should I get out or should I stay?

Should I get out or should I stay?

Pardon?

You always go home at the same time.

Isn't there a lack of anticipation for

the person going home and the person waiting at home?

I'm talking about you and your wife.

You're perfectly boring.

It's enough to make a person watching you feel suffocated.

It's my choice.

Fine. Choose.

Should I get out or should I stay?

The two of us could've been fine.

If only that woman cooperated.

It's a miracle the two of us are still alive.

You're scared of that woman.

Of course, I am! How could I not be?

I'm not scared! I want to make her pay.

She had five million dollars.

She toyed with you instead of giving it to you.

We're not saints either.

It's different.

You repented and you nearly died!

And we nearly killed her.

If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be in this mess.

Why?

You don't feel confident again?

What are you doing?

Give it back.

You stay out of this.

I'll settle this with your wife.

Why are you adding to the mess too?

(Jae-kyung)

You can't reach her anyway.

I told you I handled it.

(Password)

(Safe Mode)

If she can't be reached, who would feel most frustrated?

Song Yoo-min will get antsy because he can't get in contact with her.

He'll lurk around to meet her in person.

You two women are amazing.

If you betray me, I'll kill you.

Betray you?

I might die before that happens.

Don't underestimate the enemy.

What's going on?

Are you interested in your wife now?

Yes, I'm taking an interest so I can survive.

I need to know my enemy to find a way for me to survive.

Don't forget.

I'm on your side.

He took the bait.

The bait?

Let's continue what we were talking about.

All of a sudden?

He's listening.

(Jae-kyung)

(Jae-kyung)

Someone's calling me.

I put the bug back.

I told you that I won't just sit back and do nothing.

This will make him angry, right?

(Jae-kyung)

Where are you right now?

What do you mean? I'm at the restaurant.

Don't you recognize this number?

It's the restaurant number. Why are you there?

I thought I left my phone at the restaurant, so I came back.

But you're not here.

I see.

I left a little while ago.

Will you come pick me up?

Yes, I'll be right there.

I'm leaving.

Should I return this to her?

You can't give this back until we know where Song Yoo-min is.

What a grand plan.

I feel like you're sending me on a fool's errand.

Did you find your phone?

I guess I lost it at home.

I'll go look for it at home.

It's nice to come home with you like this.

You're right.

Why did the trunk open? Is it time to get a new car?

What in the world?

(My Dangerous Wife)

I'll see it through to the end.

I'm just getting started.

I swear it on N31.

While preparing for the exhibit,

there was never a meeting?

I told you to not have feelings for me without my permission!

I'll protect Jae-kyung, no matter what.

Don't worry.

It will go as planned.

Don't stay there. Leave.

That crazy guy has a knife.

Will you please die?

Can you die for me?

You're a monster!

I can't live with a monster.
