The Moon Brightens for You

Episode 24

Qinghong.

What did he say?

Wen You married the princess.

and he's now the consort?

Qinghong,

be calm.

Qinghong

Why didn't you stop her?

Prepare my carriage.

You're worried?

Yeah.

Stop.

Xuanyang Gate

Princess.

Brother Zisu.

Drink this soup,

boost your energy.

Consort,

I heard father saying that

he wanted to promote you to supreme justice.

Congratulations.

Thank you, princess.

Princess.

I have some matters to tend to.

Please excuse me.

Brother Zisu,

in the future,

when you become the supreme justice,

you must not have time for me.

Right now,

why don't we accompany each other?

Who is it?

Qinghong.

Qinghong.

Qinghong.

Stay away from me.

No.

When my parents and brothers were murdered,

where were you when I was at the bottom?

When I wrote to you

but never received anything from you,

where were you?

When I came back to Jun'an,

when I couldn't find you,

when I was drunk,

where were you?

Wen You,

you said you'll be with me forever,

where are you now?

I am sorry.

Mian Yang

Director.

Did you find her?

No.

Director,

I chased for a hundred miles,

but I didn't see Hand Zhan.

I can only tell from the horse footprints

that Hand is going towards Jun'an.

I can ride a fast horse to chase her.

Qinghong,

she will come back.

Do you have military matters?

It's cold out,

Xiao Lan asks me to ask you to go inside.

I'm not cold.

These few days,

everybody is gossiping.

You always stand here as long as you're done with work,

and you would stand here throughout the night.

You knew this would happen,

why did you hide the truth from her?

I didn't want to tell her,

because I worried that she couldn't handle it,

and I was buying some time for myself,

I needed time to face the fact about Wen You.

But once you missed the opportunity,

you can only keep hiding.

What if she didn't come back?

She will be back.

Qinghong.

Sir Lin.

Medics said that Ma'am is too fatigued,

she's exhausted,

and she has a bit of a fever,

she'll be fine after some rest.

You should go rest too,

I'll take care of her.

No need.

Qinghong,

I hope this is the last time you're hurt.

Your world,

I will protect it.

I will be here with you forever,

I will care for you,

and I will cherish you.

You won't be lonely again,

you won't be depressed again,

your future,

I'm in it.

So?

She's not awake yet.

It's been such a long time,

is everything ok?

Why is everybody here?

Mind your own businesses.

Who the hell is Wen You?

How dare he hurt my teacher?

I'm going to kill him!

You think you can?

What?

He has 3 heads and 6 limbs?

He was the deputy director,

and now he's the consort.

I don't care if he's the consort,

how dare he hurt my teacher!

You're talking instead of practicing,

if you woke up teacher,

she will be mad.

Let's go.

Let's go.

What do you think?

Since we can't kill Wen You,

what else can we do

to make teacher happy?

What have you got?

Take teacher to the dancing house.

Dancing house?

What a lousy idea.

This is a military camp,

we have the curfew,

we can't even go out.

It's not going to work.

Not going to work.

How about letting teacher beat us?

No, no, no.

She can beat you.

Yeah, you can go for it.

We don't want to be beaten up.

We're brothers,

we should take the hardships together.

No, no.

You can take it.

I said it.

I got it.

Come on.

What do you think?

Good, good.

Good, good.

This is good.

This is a good idea.

Then,

who is inviting coach Huo?

Who?

I'll go.

Good brother.

Ok.

You're awake.

Take some more rest.

Medic said that

you're very weak now,

you need to rest.

How long have I been sleeping?

Three, four days.

You saw Wen You?

So you knew long ago,

why didn't you tell me?

When I found out,

the marriage was already an emperor's order.

So you asked Wen You to go to lake Qinhuai,

but he didn't show up?

Indeed.

I was going to arrange a meeting for you two,

so you can talk it through.

Qinghong,

it's not my intention for you to find out this way,

I didn't think it through.

It's not your fault,

I understand,

you're worried about me.

But I am still so sad.

I'm busy,

ma'am needs company.

Teacher, how is she?

Melancholic.

She doesn't want to get out of the room,

and she has very low energy.

But she pretends to be happy in front of people,

and she cries when people left.

If that's all,

I better go.

That's not all.

Are you serious?

Are you sure you're going to do it?

I'm sure.

Then,

I'll help you.

I, Wen You, swear to the moon,

I will only love Qinghong,

no matter what happens,

I won't change my mind.

No matter what the obstacles are,

I won't let her down.

Hong,

only if you'll never grow up,

then you won't leave me.

Hong,

no matter what happens in the future,

me, and family Zhan,

will always be there for you.

Senior,

second senior,

junior.

Sister, we're here to help.

Sister,

did you miss me?

Sister, you can't pinch my face anymore.

After we defeated Du army last time,

they retreated from Mian Yang.

Informants said that

they have met Yan army in Xifeng town.

From the looks of it,

they're coming back strong.

Now,

we have less than 20 thousand soldiers,

but they have over 80 thousand,

we are truly outnumbered,

it's a drastic difference.

There's no soldiers

from the townships nearby?

We already dispatched a crew,

that's Luo Wu's crew.

The towns nearby

needs guarding as well,

so.

It's not unheard of to win a battle with less power,

it's not hopeless.

So,

we need to go out of the gate this time.

Get out of the gate?

Let's discuss strategy.

Attack as a mean of defense?

It is unexpected.

But what are our chances?

No matter how brilliant the strategy is,

it always comes down to moral.

Yes.

If we could get the head first,

capture Du Zeng,

the army will collapse naturally.

General Zhan...

is she still not well?

If General Zhan needs anything,

please tell me.

Some wounds

can only heal slowly by themselves.

Please go dispatch the troops.

Yes.

Ma'am,

Huo Yang, Luo Wu and the lot

prepared a surprise for you,

you have to take a look.

Stop messing around,

I want to be alone.

It's starting soon.

Right now.

Ma'am,

what's the matter?

We just wanted to make you happy.

Luo Wu, it's your lousy idea.

Ma'am.

Thank you.

Thank you, everybody.

I will get myself together.

I was going to find you.

Little did I know that

you'd come to me first.

Then you go first.

That letter,

Everything is fine.

Did you write that?

Yes.

Why did you do it?

I didn't want you to be sad.

Thank you.

Only a thank you?

You have to remember

what I'm going to say next.

You can't just leave your job.

Ok.

Your life is very important.

I know,

A lot of people care about you.

I know that clearly.

Last one.

I will marry you.

Today,

I'm taking Mian Yang!

Taking Mian Yang!

Left line, get ready.

Left line, get ready.

Move.

East gate and West gate are being attacked,

we're on the losing side.

Should we...

This battle

is going according to plan.

Once we assassinated Du Zeng,

we can retreat.

Do not dwell.

Yes.

Prepare ropes.

Let's go.

Qinghong.

Believe me.

Be careful.

This battle decides the fate of Mian Yang.

Let's go.

Let's give Du Zeng the final blow.

Yes.

Handle the archers.

Why is this damn girl here?

She's asking for death.

These lot

is not too bad.

They want to get the head,

since they value me so much,

how can I

let them down.

General, don't.

The whole army is depending on you,

how can you go in the battle field?

Doesn't matter,

I'll be quick.

Might as well give them a taste of me.

You're in charge for now.

General.

Huo Yang,

send me over there.

I'll go with you.

Don't argue,

you stay here with Qingshan.

Impressive,

take my saber then.

Qingshan.

Qingshan.

Kiddo,

surrender.

Surrender?

Never!

Your swordsmanship

is not my competition.

Sword hits the sky,

wildly ride the wolf,

endless breaths in the universe,

the heart knows the length,

seven-star is hidden in the sun,

with assistance of peace,

you will be in the zone,

fetch the lake with the icy moon.

Go die.

Firing phoenix.

General.

Jumping dragon.

Jumping dragon.

Bouncing tiger.

Bouncing tiger.

Seven-star...

Seven-star swordsmanship.

Kill her.

General, general.

Now the old fart will know

I'm not just someone that runs errands.

Seven-star,

seven-star.

Retreat.

Let's go.

Put down the ropes.

Teacher,

you go first.

No arguing,

I can get up.

Teacher,

teacher.

Cover them.

Shoot all these people down.
