[Opening OST: "Young Warriors"] [By Wang Sulong — Lyrics by Wang Sulong and Zuo Muxiu]

♫ The dark green sea is hazy ♫

♫ dissipating in a flash. ♫

♫ Rivers and lakes divide the world. ♫

♫ Ten thousands arrows are firing at once. ♫

♫ Who has time to worry? Who loves the color of blood? ♫

♫ At that time, spirits are high. ♫

♫ Who calls the world his home? Who dares let his horse freely run? ♫

♫ Silently, tears form in the death of night. ♫

♫ Heroes are cutting all ties, ♫

♫ giving up whether it's life or death, ♫

♫ never asking what the cost is. ♫

♫ Good and evil must be distinguished. ♫

♫ The wind blows off the snow. ♫

♫ On the body, etch multiple scars, ♫

♫ wandering all over the world, ♫

♫ only wish to ask for answers from this world. ♫

♫ A teenager doesn't have to be a hero. ♫

♫ There is no need for flowers in the dream. ♫

♫ Destiny need not be afraid. ♫

♫ Because you have him all the way, ♫

♫ experienced a handful of conquests, ♫

♫ overcame a number of challenges. ♫

♫ From now on, happy and free! ♫

♫ The only wish is, with the world, ♫

♫ would come along the willing of change. ♫

[Legend of Awakening]

[Episode 24]

Are you okay?

I am fine.

You just said that you like me,

and you wouldn't hesitate to go through fire and water for me.

Is it true or were you just acting?

I'll tell you when this is all over.

Boss, can you flirt at another time?

I saw Eldest Senior in the city.

He got into the lodging in disguise.

The Mountain and Sea Gang is going to destroy the peace talk

but Qin Qi values the peace talk.

Now that Xifan is involved, this issue is getting more troublesome.

[Yuezhou Lodging]

Xu Tianbing is a general with such a narrow mind.

General, why were you so enduring?

Xu Tianbing is domineering but he is also the general of Tan.

There must be some issues for his willfulness.

Who is that?

I'll send someone to chase after them.

Don't make trouble!

Go and get our brothers to guard here, I will go and take a look.

This is no trivial matter, make no move without careful thought.

Mo Lin, you try to distract them for me to go in and find Qin Qi.

Boss, I'll handle this, just take care of yourself.

Someone come! Catch the thief!

The peeper with his head covered, don't run!

- Come on, catch me! - Stop, stop!

- Stop! - Stop running!

We don't know what's going on inside so I need someone outside.

Wait for me here, I will be right back.

Don't worry! I won't let anything happen to your brother.

Be careful!

[Peace and Prosperity]

Yan Xifan?

- What trick are you trying to play? - General Qin.

Even if you are the first general of Shuo,

and can use four pneumatic powers,

you're no match for me now because you've been poisoned by my needle.

I urge you not to do something you will regret.

You killed Xu Tianbing.

Now you've hurt me with a hidden weapon.

Does the Mountain and Sea Gang really think this will stop the peace talk?

Killing the generals of the two countries will only make us share the same hatred.

General Qin, you look down too much on the Mountain and Sea Gang.

I heard that Xu Tianbing had bad temper

and that he's argued with you several times before.

It's well known that you two don't get along well.

Try to imagine that!

The general of Shuo killed the general of Tan.

So how can you continue the peace talk?

- You're setting me up! - Exactly! I'm setting you up.

But isn't that what General Qin does best?

You hid the identity of the Wen Gecheng before.

You set us up for murdering the official and had me on the run this whole way.

Did you ever think that retribution would fall on you so soon?

You will bear the name of this eternal sinner.

Yan Xifan, I, Qin Qi, as a general of Shuo,

I won't let you win.

Lu Ping,

you really want to throw your life away by involving yourself in this mess?

- You'd better run. - Lu Ping, what are you going to do?

You are the general of Shuo.

I am just a nobody, your life is worthwhile.

The things between he and I,

we can fix them ourselves.

Assassin! Catch the assassin!

Hurry! Are you still waiting to be caught?

General, what happened?

Let's get out of here first!

Don't bother! You can't catch him.

Lu Ping, do you really want to fight me?

Do Eldest Senior even consider me a brother anymore?

[Peace and Prosperity]

Eldest Senior, they are coming.

Come with me right now!

There's still time for things to change.

You got yourself here so don't blame me for being merciless.

Over there!

Go inside. [Peace and Prosperity]

Minister Xia, how do you explain this?

Lu Ping? Why are you here?

What happened?

Minister Xu, he is suspected to be a spy of the Mountain and Sea Gang.

He is very cruel.

He had murdered our officials in Shuo.

Now, he's killed General Xu.

This… He is extremely audacious.

- Guards! Get him! - Yes.

[Yuezhou Lodging]

The boss has been inside for so long; he won't be in trouble, right?

There are so many people here all of a sudden, something must have happened.

This is no good! I must go inside to have a look.

Lu Ping, what happened?

Why have they locked you up?

[Yuezhou Lodging] Miss Qin, it's none of your business.

This man is the murderer of General Xu.

Please don't cause our Shuo State any trouble.

Killed General Xu?

That's impossible! He wouldn't have done that.

[Yuezhou Lodging]

Lu Ping, what's going on?

I promised you that

I wouldn't let anything happen to your brother.

Miss Qin, he was caught at the scene.

This is a very important issue.

I have to take him to investigate.

- Let's go. - No way.

Sang'er, stop messing around!

- Minister Xu. - General Qin.

- Where are you going? - I came back from outside of the city.

The general situation has already been reported by subordinates.

What does General Qin plan to do next?

The murderer, of course, must be severely punished.

But I hope that Minister Xu will not affect

the peace talk because of any misunderstanding.

General Qin has a point.

However, I will still take him with me.

You have my promise! This matter will be handled carefully. [Yuezhow Lodging]

Please.

[Yuezhou Lodging]

Sang'er.

Sang'er, it's all part of the Mountain and Sea Gang's plan.

Xu Tianbing has high prestige in the army.

And I'm a special envoy of Shuo.

If I had killed Xu Tianbing,

then Tan's army would have mutinied.

The peace talk would be bound to collapse and a war would start.

At that time, I could only hide first.

Yan Xifan escaped so Lu Ping took the blame for me.

It was to turn this matter from political action to personal resentment.

He bought time for Shuo.

It's Lu Ping...

It's Lu Ping who solved this puzzle for me.

That brat, even the Mountain and Sea Gang has been tricked by him.

Miss, don't blame the general.

He did it for our state.

Sang'er, what kind of person is Lu Ping?

I remembered he was a young man acting on impulse when in Kaifeng.

However, his action today really impressed me.

He is not like you, Brother.

He has no ambition about the country.

He is timid sometimes.

He is afraid of pain.

But he is responsible.

He never flinches when he needs to step forward.

I believe that when he asked you to leave,

he had already made up his mind.

He is a brave man and I respect him.

Brother, is there anything we can do to help him?

This matter is well planned and closely linked.

The Mountain and Sea Gang must have someone on the inside helping them.

Wen Rui, help me investigate someone.

Who?

When did Xu Tianbing's body get moved into the lodging?

Whom did Yan Xifan pretend to be that

he could sneak into the lodging without being suspected?

Xu Family.

Chief!

- Who are they? - They are from the Agile Dragon Army.

It seems that they're already doubting Young Master Xu.

[Tingsong Villa]

What are you doing with Zhou Youlong?

Didn't Young Lord Yan also come empty handed?

You still dare to insult me?

Lu Ping appeared all of sudden and messed up my entire plan.

If I hadn't left in time, Chief would have been the one who's in trouble right now.

You couldn't even complete a simple operation.

No idea where Zhou Youlong is right now, do you?

Chief, the Mountain and Sea Gang doesn't need such a loser.

How we lost today, I can't bear it.

Why don't I kill him on behalf of our gang?

- Chief. - Enough! Stop it!

Even if he deserves to die, it's still not you who gets to kill him.

[Sea and Mountain View]

Thank you, Chief.

Xu Weifeng, when you came to us,

you should've understood that you have to be useful to the Mountain and Sea Gang.

If you are useless,

you and even Tan state, to the Mountain and Sea Gang,

are not worth mentioning.

Chief, it's still not a complete failure.

Xu Tianbing has great prestige in the Tan Army.

My father controlled the news of his assassination in order to assist the peace talk to proceed smoothly.

But rumors are invisible swords.

If I leak the information saying that Lu Ping was instructed by Qin Qi,

the army will never forgive them.

If there is a mutiny in the army, the country will have to fight whether they want to or not.

As for Lu Ping, I'll try to force him admit it.

You're dreaming!

That junior of mine won't talk so easily.

Young Lord Yan refuses to even try.

Are you afraid that your junior would be suffering?

Up to you!

This is your second chance.

Remember! You won't have the third chance.

I will keep that in mind and will do my best to live up to your trust.

Lu Ping is still useful to us.

Bring him to me alive when the war begins.

Yes.

Young Master Xu, it's been a day already and several of our brothers are tired.

He still refuses to say a word about Qin Qi.

He… He even fell asleep.

Senior Xu,

were you sorely disappointed when you learned that it was me

and not Qin Qi, who killed him?

- Leave us! - Yes.

You already knew.

Qin Qi was led in by Yan Xifan.

In all of Yuezhou, the only one who knows

the relationship among us and had time to act is you.

When Mo Lin told me back then,

I already figured it out.

I was just a little bit late.

Otherwise, I would've made you lose even worse.

I don't understand why you would take the blame for Qin Qi.

He showed no mercy to you before.

I just don't like the Mountain and Sea Gang.

I just want to fight against the Mountain and Sea Gang.

Is that okay?

Lu Ping,

you're now guilty of a capital offense.

Qin Qi can't save you, and Qin Sang is in worse position so she can't save you, either.

The one who can save you,

is only me.

I just didn't expect that

you chose to sacrifice yourself to break the game.

However, I've actually always respected you quite a bit.

My gratitude to you was true in the Seven Martyrs Court and at the gate of Yuezhou.

As long as you're willing to give us the truth,

then we can still be friends.

Senior Xu,

I was wrong.

You are not like Eldest Senior at all.

His words bite but he has a soft heart. But you?

A complete hypocrite.

Right now, you are just like the Mountain and Sea Gang.

Didn't you want to know who the real murderer was?

Didn't I already tell you?

It's me.

If you want to know other things, just get lost.

How about Su Tang?

Don't you care about her?

You have the Mountain and Sea Gang supporting you from behind

but I am not alone, either.

I promise you!

If you even touch one of hair on Su Tang's head,

you will die without a burial lace.

Moreover, if you fail this mission,

do you think the Mountain and Sea Gang will let you go easily?

Senior Xu, what do you think

how I have this ability of being able to suffer a beating?

Dealing with demons,

aren't you afraid of getting bitten to death?

We have no further news from those two who were sent to track Xu Weifeng.

They might have been killed.

Looks like there really is something wrong with Xu Weifeng.

Now that we know, should we report it to Tan and save Lu Ping?

No way!

Oral expressions cannot be taken as evidence.

Right now, the peace talk can continue all because Minister Xu has been holding off the news that Xu Tianbing is dead.

However, Xu Weifeng is the son of Xu Yanling so words alone aren't enough for evidence.

If we speak rashly, it will only make Minister Xu look biased.

Right now, only if we can secure the evidence and give it to Tan, then we can control the damage.

General Qin.

General Qin, bad news!

Right now, somehow the army has found out that Xu Tianbing is dead.

Now, the soldiers are angry and they want to fight.

I really can't control them.

General Qin, why are you putting this off?

What do you want, Minister Xia?

Lu Ping comes from our country but he is the murderer.

His execution will calm the army.

What do you want to do with his life after all this?

Minister Xia, I have my own opinions on this.

The conflict may break out at any moment so what's the point of your opinions?

Do you want to wait until the army mutinies to fight against Shuo?

Brother, I already heard everything.

Do you really have to kill Lu Ping?

Brother, Lu Ping didn't kill anyone.

He is a scapegoat for you and for Shuo.

Everything is a mess right now.

I can only do my best to change the situation for him

but I can't guarantee anything.

I don't have the decision making power.

If it gets to the point that you have to choose,

will you kill him?

Sang'er,...

I had thought that if Lu Ping took the burden of guilt for Shuo,

Shuo would save him.

It turns out, none of you care if he lives or dies.

Fine! I won't trouble you on this.

If you won't save him, I will.

Sang'er, don't do anything rash.

Don't worry! I won't get you involved.

I know that being an official has its restrictions.

However, there is still the pugilist world.

There must be a way to save Lu Ping.

After the spreading news of Xu Tianbing's death,

there is now a conflict on the border. [Shuo - Tan] (TN: Upside down)

My father can't stand the pressure.

It's all going according to the plan.

However, why do I always feel like I'm missing something?

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

Bao Niang.

- Young Master. - Go to the lodging to have a look for me

to see if Miss Qin has been out these past two days.

Yes.

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

Pavilion Master Li, Lu Ping is in danger now.

The situation in the state is unpredictable.

Master Yan was hurt by Zhou Youlong and hasn't yet recovered.

Big Dipper, please go to lend a hand.

Miss Qin, Lu Ping isn't a disciple of Big Dipper anymore.

Why should Big Dipper help?

Pavilion Master Li, I'm willing to make amends for Lu Ping's previous trespasses.

However, Lu Ping was also imprisoned for the sake of the country.

Is the Big Dipper afraid of power and only seeks self-protection?

The Big Dipper has its own rules.

We can't deal with Lu Ping's matter so Miss Qin, please leave and head back down the mountain.

Master, Lu Ping is the son of Master Leng so the Big Dipper shouldn't remain indifferent.

Bai Li, hurry to send Miss Qin down the mountain.

Li Yaotian! I can see that you are getting worse and worse.

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

Senior Sister!

The Big Dipper has its own traditions.

I didn't expect that the Big Dipper would be no better than a little girl.

It's such a wretched place! Forget about Lu Ping, even I can't stay here anymore.

If they won't go save him, I'll go with you to save him.

- Huo Ying. - Don't worry, Miss Qin!

Our Fifth Institute has already gathered at the gate.

We will go to save Junior Lu with you.

Thanks, Elder Chu Min. Thank you very much, Senior Huo Ying.

Wasn't the Fifth Institute grounded? How...?

Who secretly let them out?

Guo Youdao died for his disciple so I've let them out.

How can I lose to him?

Chu Min, shall we go?

Let's go!

You…

Master, don't bother! This time, no one can't stop them.

Wake up! Stop sleeping.

I've been told that today, I have to force you to rat Qin Qi out,

even I have to break your hands and feet.

Before you act, please turn your head back.

So dirty! How could you fall asleep in such a place?

Sorry about that!

Who knew at the end of the day, it would be the Fifth Institute who came to save me?

Let me tell you! The Fifth Institute was amazing this time. We all came!

Master Chu Min also came, even Miss Qin Sang.

- How did you end up like this? - It was lucky that he didn't die.

It's okay. I could withstand the beatings.

I won't die.

Enough. Stop flirting! We still need to leave here. Let's go.

We only thought about how to get in the city but has anyone thought about how to get out?

Why do you talk so much? It's not the first time we've forced the gate open.

There's one word. Fight!

How brave! Master Chu Min is awesome!

- Let's go. - Go!

What happened?

Why is the tortoise leader here?

Don't think I can't hear you when you speak softly. I have good ears.

You brats, trying to fight with the officials! You're just looking for an early death.

Master is afraid that you would be too reckless so he took me to meet you.

- Pavilion Master. - Enough!

The disciples of Big Dipper aren't allowed to be bullied by others. Let's go quickly!

Let's go.

Li Yaotian, that nosy old man!

Now that the Qin Family is involved.

This makes it more interesting.

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

What's wrong, Lu Ping?

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

"From now on, I have nothing to do with the Big Dipper."

"From now on, no matter what I do,"

"I and the Big Dipper will have no connection whatsoever with each other."

These words, this brat had said before he left.

Can we just ignore them now?

Master, could you save some face for me?

What do you take the Big Dippers as?

Without the agreement of the master, can you just come

and go as you wish?

I previously thought—

Until I say so, you are still the disciple of Big Dipper.

Did you really think I've always been scared?

Senior Sister, you were right to yell at me.

When I was young, I had a youthful spirit.

Now, the longer I live, the less spirit I have.

Lu Ping, because of you,

I understand something now.

The Big Dipper has a hundred years of history.

There is one and only!

We weren't afraid of anyone before.

We will not be afraid of anyone ever after.

Lu Ping, are you willing to regard yourself as part of Big Dipper?

Disciple Lu Ping is willing to return to the Big Dipper.

Okay.

All right, all right! we're satisfy now.

It was worth it to go into the city.

The Fifth Institute has made great contributions for you have courage and responsibility.

My order! Award the whole institute.

Am I dreaming? Us? The Fifth Institute? Awards for the whole institute?

Yes. Yes. Yes. It's true.

What are you still talking about? Drag this brat in.

- Let's go. - Go. Go. Go.

- Let's come in. - Come. Come. Come.

- Let's go! - Let's go!

I can walk by myself.

General Qin, you said there's some doubt in this case.

You hope you can find out the truth with time.

I've tried my best to help you in the court.

But your younger sister took away the murderer.

It's extremely deceiving of you to be so duplicitous.

I didn't know of this beforehand.

There must be something going on.

Your sister joined up with the Big Dippers to break out the murderer.

Our own people witnessed it so what else could be going on?

I used to stand for peace.

Right now, I can't help but doubt

whether you have other plans for this negotiation.

Minister Xu, this is a private act of the Big Dippers and Qin Sang.

Shuo has nothing to do with that.

Your sister did that so how are you going to solve it?

Minister Xu, please allow me a few more days.

I will certainly give you an account of this.

[Big Dipper Pavilion]

Please give me a pass! I am Qin Qi.

I want to meet Pavilion Master Li with something important.

Lift your feet.

You are being mysterious.

What are you doing?

No peeking!

Qin Sang, what are you doing?

Lu Ping, you'd better stay here all day and you shouldn't go anywhere.

Why? Is someone coming for me?

From Shuo or Tan?

Open the door!

Silly girl!

General Qin, you came with soldiers, what do you want?

The Big Dipper has always been independent of the state's affairs.

Now you're going to get involved in this mess because of one disciple.

I'm afraid there will be endless troubles.

How about this, as long as you're willing to hand over Lu Ping.

I will plead on your behalf over the break-in of the prison

to keep the Big Dipper safe and sound.

How about Lu Ping?

How would you deal with him?

A war is on the verge of starting.

Only by beheading the murderer in public can we calm Tan's anger.

That was for you, wasn't it?

General Qin, you'd really use the same trick again.

Brother, you can't take him with you.

If it wasn't for your willful and reckless actions to take Lu Ping away,

how could it have turned out like this?

If I don't take Lu Ping today,

the two countries will go to war and many more people will die.

Qin Sang, when are you going to understand

the responsibility to the people and to the country?

- Wen Rui, prepare to search the mountain. - Wait!

Brother, I understand the general principle

but I also know your faith should not be exchanged

for the sacrifice of innocent people.

Take Miss away so that she doesn't cause any more trouble!

General Qin,

I am willing to go back with you.

When I turned myself in at the lodging that day,

I was already prepared for the outcome.

I got a few more days so I am satisfied.

How could you come out? You can't go with my brother.

In the future, don't just lock the door, but also the windows.

Lu Ping!

Master, isn't Guo Youdao the best at demanding a life for a life.

I am stronger than him.

Lu Ping, you don't have to.

You are one of us at the Big Dipper, therefore, the Big Dipper will keep you safe.

Since the Wind Takers were destroyed,

I thought I would have no root and no home.

That I would wander for the rest of my life.

But I didn't find my place of peace,

until master rescued me and brought me to the Big Dipper.

So, I won't let the Big Dipper end in the same way.

General Qin, I am going with you.

Can I talk to your sister before I go?

What's wrong?

It's just one slap from your brother, why are you so angry?

I am upset with myself.

I wanted to save your life but I still cost you your life.

Silly girl!

You didn't mess up.

It's all my own decision.

But there's one thing I can't be rest assured of.

Now, it seems that I can only entrust it to you.

What is there to entrust? Entrust to who?

What unfinished business do you have? Go and do it yourself!

It's not like I'm saying my last wishes.

I am talking about Su Tang.

She is under the control of Xu Weifeng.

Find and save her for me.

How about you? What are you going to do?

Don't worry!

I am the bandit.

No one's allowed to just take my life.

Go and save Su Tang for me

so that I can be more at ease to save myself.

Okay?

Okay, I promise you.

Young Master Lu.

Young Master Lu, Miss,

I'd like to go with you to rescue Miss Su Tang.

I will do everything I can.

Ziyan, you...

You've both have taken care of me.

I regard you as my family.

Young Master Lu, if you still regard me as a friend,

don't keep me out of this.

That works! The more people, the more assurance.

Okay.

Then I entrust Su Tang's life to both of you.
