The Legend of Chusen

Episode 41

This place must be the deepest part of this dark cave.

We must still be careful. I kept feeling that there is danger in here.

Careful!

Da Shui Zhi (Big Water Fluke), don't fight anymore. Go back.

No wonder Big Brother and Xiao Qi treat you as their friends.

You're quite popular.

Outstanding women coming from both righteous and evil sects

are all protecting you.

San Niang, what really is the situation now?

How come there are so many fire kind monsters everywhere? There are really so many of them.

Our fire magic don't work on them.

We must use ice magic.

Teacher Uncle Shang Guan Ce is already on his way here.

Once he arrives, we already have someone to help us.

His Nine Cold Freezing Ice Thorns are most effective against these fire monsters.

Let's not provoke them for now. Let's wait for Teacher Uncle first.

Liu Wei is being locked up in here?

Beneath this black stone cave, in the areas that you can't see, are all lava.

This has already lasted for several thousand of years. Big Water Fluke also grew up in here.

Big Brother felt that the real fire air here

can suppress the icy poison in his body.

Then how come he still goes mad?

Bi Yao, do you still remember the origin of the Mysterious Fire Mirror?

I suspect that when Liu Wei was stealing the Mysterious Fire Mirror,

he must have felt into some traps.

On top of the Mysterious Fire Mirror, there are still remnants of the Beast God spell.

Liu Wei must have been injured by that spell.

Was it that black air on top of the Mysterious Fire Mirror?

I also don't know very clearly.

But...written on the ancient records in the main altar,

the Ba Huang (very far place) Fire Dragon inside the Mysterious Fire Mirror is the only sacred being that can control the Beast God.

During the revival of the Beast God in Shi Wan (Ten Thousand) Mountain,

the Mysterious Fire Mirror gave him the last hit.

But the counterattack of the Beast God during its destruction

also caused this ancient magical items to be tainted.

That's why, ever since, people who used the Mysterious Fire Mirror

were all eaten up by their heart demon.

Their characters changed drastically and they become hot-tempered and blood thirsty.

Because of that, Yun Yi Lan kept it inside the Mysterious Fire Altar.

He will not easily take it out or use it.

Heart Demon will not appear without any reasons.

When Liu Wei stole the Mysterious Fire Mirror, he already brought with him obsessive thoughts.

That's why he got controlled by his heart's demon.

How are you sure that is the heart demon?

Then it means that the one causing Liu Wei to go crazy is not Shang Guan Ce's Cold Ice Thorns

but it's that moment when he stole the Mysterious Fire Mirror

and got eaten up by his heart's demon.

Can you save him?

If it is only the heart demon attacking him,

there might be a chance.

It's just that...we must know what his obsession is.

He should be the only one who knows what his obsession is.

San Niang, can you bring me to see him?

- Xiao Huan!- Xiao Fan?

Xue Qi!

- Calm down a little.- Brother Xiao Fan.

I just know that you'll come to save me.

- Why are you pulling him?- How come it's you again?

Why are you here this time? Here to steal stuff from us?

Do I know you?

Liu Wei, do you still remember me?

Look at him.

That's why I kept refusing to hand over the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

His situation is graver than what you described.

Can you save him?

If you can't,

I can only use the power of my internal cultivation to activate the Mysterious Fire Mirror, try my best with that.

If Big Brother still wasn't able to recover after casting the spell,

I will not force it anymore. By that time,

I'll leave the magical items for you to handle.

His injury was caused by the Cold Icy Thorns.

The one controlling his heart is the Heart Demon.

Even if you use your internal cultivation on him, once his injury heals, he'll only just become a demon.

Zhang Xiao Fan, long time no see.

Never thought that the next time we'll meet

is at a situation like this.

Liu Wei, how do you feel now?

My injury will never heal anymore.

Just let me out. Let me welcome the enemies for you.

Even if I die fighting, I don't want to drag out an ignoble existence anymore.

You think that once you die, everything will end?

That is exactly what your heart's demon is waiting for. He will swallow up your will,

overtake your body, and then merge with the Fire Dragon within the Mysterious Fire MIirror

to eat up everyone.

We need to enter his heart to look for clues about his obsession

before we can get rid of it.

Maybe I have a way to get rid of the heart demon.

I previously also fell into my own obsession.

If we can enter Liu Wei's memory, after purifying it, we can cure him.

But Liu Wei's situation now is very unstable

and our connection is not that deep. I'm afraid that he might resist it.

I have a way.

I know the Heaven Eye Technique. I can see a person's past and future.

His past is his memory.

That's why, if I send you back there, it might work.

You really can send us in?

Brother Xiao Fan, since you left Yudu,

Zeng Shu Shu and I learned a lot of magic.

Although my cultivation is still very low, but I will do my best and give it a try.

We also don't have any other way now. Xiao Fan, let her try.

Fine. Liu Wei's obsession

should be in Feng Xiang Village. As long as we can successfully--

Stop talking already. Hurry and start the magic spell.

What do you mean? You're also going in?

So what?

I know where his obsession is. I'll take you guys in.

Measly fox monster, don't think that you can behave atrociously in front of me.

I will definitely decimate you!

Teacher Uncle is here. This is great.

Big Water Fluke and fire monster should be able to hinder them for a while.

We should delay any further. Xiao Huan, hurry.

I'm going inside Liu Wei's memory and help him fulfill his wish.

Within this time, you guys must calm Liu Wei down and

protect this area. Don't let the people from Fen Xiang Village in.

Don't worry.

Chang Sheng (Long Life) Sect tragically lost to Qing Yun in the fight at Ding Hai Fortress.

But they never thought that the Ghost King Sect would ended up greatly benefiting from it.

It must be some tricks of Ghost King in relation to the revival of the Beast God.

The Heaven Book reappearing--

We must be careful to defend against it. After all, in our hands, we still have a magical treasure that can counter the Beast God.

If you ask me...

Why did you follow me again?

I'm here to steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror. Didn't I already remind you earlier?

The Mysterious Fire Mirror is inside the black stone cave. This is Liu Wei's memory.

I...anyway, I'm going to clearly investigate it. Stop minding me.

Let's go.

Whether it was Yudu or Ding Hai Fortress,

if the Mysterious Fire Mirror senses the reappearance of the Beast God,

there surely will be some activities.

These coming days, you must be careful and guard against it.

Don't worry, Senior Brother.

Is this really inside a memory?

How come everything look so lifelike?

We wouldn't really be in Fen Xiang Village, right?

Although everything is just an imagination,

but the Heart Demon is hiding in here.

We must be careful.

Then...will the Fen Xiang Village people recognize us?

I previously also fell into my heart's demon.

Although everything is just a dream, but the people and events in the dream are true.

That's why, we must not underestimate the enemies.

What if they discover us, will they attack us?

They will. That's why, we must not alarm them.

Or else, Liu Wei's memory will find ways to drive the outsiders out.

I'll just tell the other details to you next time.

Anyway, we must first find the Liu Wei in here. Because only him is real here.

Only by that can we eradicate the heart demon.

Such a huge Fen Xiang Village, where are we going to find him?

Have you forgotten why he was here?

Mysterious Fire Altar?

There was one question that I had wanted to ask you.

Your father is the sect leader of Ghost King Sect. Why would he ask Liu Wei to steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror for him?

Actually...actually our family and Liu Wei can be considered relatives.

Relatives?

My mother was also a member of the Heaven Fox Clan. She and Liu Wei's mother were sisters.

Based on the things that happened in the clan's past, my father learned that underneath the Mysterious Fire Mirror,

there is something that is being suppressed which seemed to be very important to Liu Wei.

That's why he used...It was not really using, more of an exchange agreement.

Then...the Heart Demon must be at the Mysterious Fire Altar. Let's go.

- Teacher Uncle. - Teacher Uncle.

I'm fine. Let me rest for a while before we take down this monster together.

Evil monster! If you still don't hand over the Mysterious Fire Mirror,

I will surely make you die a tragic death!

Big Water Fluke might not be able to hold them back anymore.

Xiao Huan, use this chance to send me inside.

- No way. - This is our last chance already. I beg you.

Hurry and go!

That Heart Demon must be inside. Right now, Liu Wei still doesn't know that there are outsiders inside his dream.

If we alarm the Heart Demon, it would be harder for us to escape.

Then what should we do?

Liu Wei.

Xiao Fan?

- Why are you also here in Fen Xiang Village?- I...

You are the daughter of Ghost King, Bi Yao?

This is your dream.

We are here to help you get the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

Ghost King was afraid that I won't be able to do it so he sent you guys, right?

Liu Wei, other than the Mysterious Fire Mirror, is there any other thing that's inside this place?

Nothing. Didn't the Ghost King tell you?

This barrier is not easy to get into. Only Shang Guan Ce and Yun Yi Lan can get inside it.

Earlier, I noticed something shiny on their waist.

I'm thinking that must be the key. That's why, the most urgent thing that we should do now is to get that jade amulet.

I have a plan. I can put invisible magic on both of you.

But it can only last for one incense time.

The three of us must coordinate our actions.

- Okay.- No problem.

Talk. Who sent you to enter Fen Xiang Village without permission?

Talk.

Since you are a fox monster,

then you must be here for the nine-tailed lady monster.

Although I don't know why you are here

and even looked so real,

to let me tell you the reason... dream on!

Looks like...you must eat some hardship first

so that you won't be so hard-mouthed.

Who's there?

Listen to me, Big Brother. Don't go in. It's very dangerous inside.

Big Brother, don't steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror already, okay?

Or else, you will regret it.

I've waited for so many years just for this day.

Yet you ask me to stop at this moment?

Big Brother, this is your dream. All of these are not real.

Don't get bewitched by your obsession.

What dream? What rubbish are you saying?

Big Brother, just treat it as me begging you. Leave with me, okay?

No. I can't listen to you.

I told you before that I don't bear any grudges when you asked me to stay by your side.

But in this lifetime, this is the only matter that I must do.

Even if it will lead us to be separated by death,

you will still not hesitate to do it?

Enough! Don't use this method to threaten me, okay?

What is it that you really want to do?

The one locked up inside there is my mother!

Yes. Your mother is more important than me.

Your brothers are also more important than me.

Even just a stranger,

he is more important than me.

If I really think that way, I won't stay with you in Xiao Chi Village for a hundred years.

That's why...you feel that it was me who imprisoned you?

I owe you, is that it?

That's why, in the end, you still got tired of me.

Taking Xiao Qi with you and leaving without saying anything.

Enough! Don't say it anymore!

What are you two fighting about?! Is there no end to it?

Liu Wei, calm down.

How about we just knock them unconscious? We've been in here for so long already

yet he still haven't made his move. What about those outside?

Teacher Uncle, let us.

Xue Qi, try to hold on for a while.

- Xiao Qi, are you alright?- I'm fine.

Hurry and tell me. Is there any other magic or machinery inside this black stone cave?

There are. Before, their were many. But after so many years, they are now useless.

Don't care anymore. Just tell me how to operate them.

Okay.

Liu Wei, you must hurry and decide. Shang Guan Ce will notice soon that his jade amulet has gone missing.

Listen to one advice from me. Give up. San Niang is very concerned about you.

No. No!

Big Brother, no!

It's you again.

I've waited for so long and now I've finally found a vessel.

Obsession, eternal obsession!

Unwelcomed guest, who are you?

In the past, I only needed one step to make the nine-tailed Heaven Fox become my vessel.

Never thought that today, her son will personally deliver himself to me.

Let me see him.

I will not let you succeed. Prepare to die!

Zeng Shu Shu, what are you doing?

Zeng Shu Shu?

Qing Yun disciple.

You guys wait for a while. I'm currently fighting a monster. It will open soon.

Be careful.

Zeng Shu Shu, you traitor.

Never thought that one day, I'll also be a member of the counterattack group.

Failing to distinguish right from wrong.

Xiao Huang?

- Teacher Uncle.- Chase after him.

They must be in here.

Xue Qi!

I can't hold them back anymore. They will charge in here soon.

Oh, no. We can't guard against them anymore.

Big Brother, you must hold on!

Brother Xiao Fan and sister-in-law will surely succeed.

Big Brother.

We succeed.

Are we back?

Earlier, I seemed to see a familiar scene.

Beast God...?

It's Madam Jin Ling (Golden Bell) and old man Hei Xin (Black Heart).

Your magical item was taken from Thousand Bats Cave.

You remembered now?

It is such a mess. I can't remember.

Bi Yao...

Big Brother.

Big Brother.

You must hold on. I'll treat you right away.

San Mei (Third Little Sister),

San Mei...don't mind me anymore.

My injuries...really can't be cured anymore.

San Mei, I owe you so much in this lifetime.

I can only repay you in my next life.

I'm sorry.

No!

Set up the formation!

Go after them.

Careful! Hurry.

♫ So insignificant, going without saying, coming without disappearing ♫

♫ Glorious and beautiful past dynasty is completely bowing down in front of me ♫

♫ The dream has not ended. How can I go alone to the far away clouds? ♫

♫ Who will be talking and smiling to me from now on? ♫

♫ The Heaven understands that even if this love dies a thousand times, it will be hard to cancel it. ♫

Xiao Fan...

Xiao Fan.

with my three hundred years of cultivation as offering,

Sister-in-law!

Xiao Qi, it's dangerous. Don't go!

- Sister-in-law!- Xiao Qi.

♫ My life has already entered your life and death book ♫

♫ In the ends of the sky, in the corners of the oceans, carved in heart and bones. ♫

San Mei... San Mei!

Big Brother...

San Mei, you're so stupid.

It's three hundred years already. It's one whole three hundred years.

Since I started to have some cultivation and was able to meet Big Brother that day,

my heart...has already left with Big Brother.

In the ends of the world,

in the universe or in uncivilized territories, I never...

I never regretted it.

Those angry words, those fights,

were just because I...because...

I don't want you to leave.

San Mei. San Mei.

San Mei!

Sister-in-law!

- Xiao Qi. Xiao Qi.- Don't go!

Let's go.

Mysterious Fire Mirror! Attack!

All of these started because of my obsession.

It's all because my Heart Demon was too great that I can't see the San Mei that was beside me.

- Worrying about me day and night.- You're being too stupid, Liu Wei!

Now, she's already dead.

From now on, anything in this world,

is meaningless to me already.

Goodbye forever. Thank you.

Big Brother! Sister-in-law!
