The Legend of Chusen

Episode 40

My monsters. My internal cultivation pill. My own internal cultivation.

Where did that woman go?

She's really holding me back!

Get lost!

Lord Luo, don't kill me! I came to ask you for help!

Get lost! I didn't even get payback from you for taking the Qing Yun disciples away!

Why are you pandering now?

Lord Luo, it's my fault!

Please let me explain! I didn't think that your magic would be so strong!

Such a big thing happened in the village now!

Please help! Save me!

What is it? What happened?

The Qing Yun disciples and Fen Xiang Valley disciples

started to fight each other. They were talking about the Mysterious Fire Mirror being hidden inside the village.

They requested the boss lady to hand over the magic treasure.

OR else, they'd kill all the spirits in the village!

They also said that they'd kill one every incense stick burnt!

-Really?-Of course!

They also said...you'd return to the village anyway,

to prevent you from taking their inner power,

they were going to kill all the spirits in the village!

But halfway through, they got into a fight!

Zhang Xiao Fan got stabbed by Li Xun and lay half dead on the ground!

Lu Xue Qi picked up her sword and went looking for spirits!

Those spirits are mine! Lead the way! Hurry!

Fighting against your own will not reap you any benefits.

When you first escaped from my tent, you probably didn't think you'd have a day like this!

Qing Yun disciples, righteous sects.

I'll absorb your internal cultivation pill. You don't know how many monsters does that compares to.

You tricked me?

What do you want?

Give me the antidote.

I don't have it! Qin Wu Yan has it!

I'll give it!

Sister in law, what's going on with the village?

-The antidote is here.-Thank you!

What a good person! Thank you!

Thank you! Thank you!

-Here.-Thank you.

There's finally food to eat!

I just knew that there was another reason behind your appearance at the hotel.

Let me ask you, that day when you were hiding inside the wine cellar,

was Xiao Huan there too?

You don't need to continue asking him.

That's right. That day after you discovered Xiao Qi,

I transferred Xiao Huan away.

Then what about Zheng Shu Shu?

I took him away too.

Brother Savior, it's my fault.

I shouldn't have lied to you.

But, if I didn't say that,

sister in law would punish me!

To avoid punishment, you had your savior spinning in circles.

I'm sorry! Because Big Brother was too seriously injured.

I had to listen to Sister in Law.

Didn't I tell you to stay with your brother? Why did you come back?

How is his injury now?

I originally wanted to stay with Big Brother, but his condition wasn't that great.

His bouts of illness were getting longer and longer.

Is the Mysterious Fire Mirror with Liu Wei (Six Tail)?

I know Six Tail was seriously injured.

He once saved my life, I owe him.

But if you keep dragging it out, both sides will simply fail.

You can only trust us now.

When Big Brother stole the Mysterious Fire Mirror at Fen XIang Valley,

he was hurt by Shang Guan Ce's Nine Cold Frozen Ice Thorns.

I thought that if I just get the Mysterious Fire Mirror, I can get the poison of the Cold Ice Thorns

out from Big Brother's body.

But, I didn't think that so many things resulted from this.

Big Brother has Ghost King's Bi Shui Han Su (Green Water Cold Shuttle). He actually was fine.

It was that Mysterious Fire Mirror who suddenly emitted some black smoke.

It was as if Big Brother was under a spell that Shangguan Ci injured him.

The Mysterious Fire Mirror emitting a black smoke?

Xiao Qi, tell me. What really happened to Liu Wei while he was at the Mysterious Fire Altar?

After we arrived at Fen Xiang Valley, Big Brother was afraid I'd run into trouble,

so he had me wait outside alone.

Using the Green Water Cold Shuttle, he went inside by himself.

What happened afterwards, he told me about it.

After we escaped to Huqi Mountain, the Ghost King couldn't save Big Brother either.

So we came back here.

After Big Brother came back, I thought of every method to heal him.

But it wasn't helpful at all! It got worse instead.

Every time it acts up,

he will then have a change of character and can't suppress himself.

He even...he can't even recognize who I am.

Sister in Law used a lot of spiritual power to treat Big Brother, but he suddenly went crazy.

Sister in Law used a lot of energy to calm him.

Afterwards, she locked him in Black Stone Cave.

Hoping that the strong heat inside it can delay the cold poison inside Big Brother's body.

The ice won't make him go crazy.

There must be another reason.

I've tried every method!

But his condition gets more and more serious!

And also, I cannot activate the Mysterious Fire Mirror to heal him.

Zhang Xiao Fan, can you save him?

I'm begging you, if you can save him,

you can take my life in exchange if you want!

If Big Brother dies,

then I...I'd also...

Things haven't reached the end yet, so be optimistic.

Where is Black Stone Cave?

Okay. I'll take you there right now.

San Niang, I owe Six Tail a favor, so I'll do my best to help.

But no matter if we are able to cure him or not in the end, you must give me the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

If Big Brother is around anymore, what use is there for me to have that treasure?

Don't bother with me.

We must hurry and find the Mysterious Fire Mirror. We must not let it fall into the evil sect's hands again.

We must find Qin Wu Yan first.

Sister in Law. Sister in Law!

Stay in Xiao Qi Village and take care of everyone.

Sister in Law, if Big Brother...

Then will you not return either?

Don't be unhappy.

Zheng Shu Shu and Sister Xiao Huan are very good people.

They're thinking of a way to save Big Brother.

They didn't blame you. Perhaps Big Brother Xiao Fan will have a way.

I treated them like that, yet they still think of ways to save Big Brother.

After I return to Black Stone Cave,

I'll send them away. Don't worry.

Then Big Brother he...

Don't think nonsense. We'll come back.

Then promise me, Sister in Law.

Little pine post, frost-like moon,

Humans are like the floating willow leaves. The flowers are also hurt.

For several years, three thousand years,

Hope that even if we separate, we won't forget each other.

It's a shame that it's not a full moon today.

Or else with a sincere heart and bending down to look at it,

the wish will definitely come true.

Come out! I know you've followed me for a long time.

So to find the Mysterious Fire Mirror, it will still depend on you.

San Niang, to get a magic treasure you'd pay with your life.

It's not worth it. I have a way to save Six Tail.

It depends...

It depends...if I'm willing to work with you or not.

You are indeed understanding.

You came here, so you've probably made up your mind.

I did.

Qin Wu Yan, you were too careless!

Hand over the antidote!

Don't you have the Heaven Book? What, you can't use it?

You ruined my plans multiple times.

Zhang Xiao Fan, I wanted to kill you long ago!

It's a shame that your lover will rot away in seven days.

She'll become a pile of bones!

Do you believe I'd kill you?

Even if you kill me, I won't give you the antidote.

After you die, I'll search for it myself!

Stop!

Bi Yao?

-Don't waste words on him!-Qin Wu Yan, give him the antidote.

Do I need to repeat myself?

Give him the antidote! Hurry up!

Do you not understand me? Give it to him!

-Thanks.-You don't need to thank me.

Let him go.

I can't! Old City Chief Wei's death hasn't been avenged yet!

Listen to me, let him go.

Qin Wu Yan. I can't accept your low handed tactics.

Go back and tell my father that I left with you.

About the Mysterious Fire Mirror, I naturally will get it in an upright way.

Since it's like this, I'll let you go once.

Next time, it won't be that simple.

Senior Sister, how are you feeling?

I'ma lot better now.

The remaining poison has already been removed. These following days, it will still be better for you to be careful.

How did you know Qin Wu Yan would follow us?

I don't know either.

I just...gambled once.

Bi Yao disappeared, and Luo Ye was captured. Qin Wu Yan had to have some reaction.

What if you gambled wrong?

If I gambled wrong...then I'll just exchange the Mysterious Fire Mirror for the antidote.

Xiao Fan, I once said-

The Mysterious Fire Mirror is very important but one's life is more important.

At worst, we can just go and steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror back.

I'm just afraid...you can't bear to do that.

I'll go talk with her and tell her to stop following us.

I'll be frank.

Continue talking! Have you gone mute?

Zhang Xiao Fan, we're not friends right now.

I advice you to worry about it a little. Once we are inside the Black Stone Cave and is fighting to grab the Mysterious Fire Mirror,

don't blame me for being heartless!

I know you won't.

Just like today, when you forced Qin Wu Yan to hand over the antidote.

You've forgotten the past, but your personality didn't change.

You are still you.

Aren't you following us because you want the Black Fire Mirror?

You just want to know what happened in the past. Am I right?

Who...who said? Don't think like that.

I remember that time at Shooting Star's Lake. It's just like now, the sky was filled with stars.

But it was too dangerous then.

I didn't have the time to have a good look.

Shooting Star Lake? Where is it?

Dianhai Valley. It was dangerous then.

But fortunately we were okay.

Bi Yao. Go back.

Don't take the risk.

Why should I listen to you?

You said it yourself that day on Hu Qi Mountain.

You been up Hu Qi Mountain?

That day when you were sending me off from Hu Qi Mountain, you said "to not meet a person in life"

just like a rare ginseng and picking the stars from the heaven.

Since we are people of different paths, then from now on, there's no need for us to see each other.

From that day on, I've given up the thought of seeing you again.

But when I saw you again, I suddenly realised,

Actually there are some people and some things, no matter how long it's been,

it can never be forgotten.

But I've already forgotten.

I know.

Perhaps it's a good thing for you.

Go home. Don't let your Dad keep worrying.

Senior Brother...

Senior Brother!

Yan Hong.

Fortunately you've left the Black Fire Marks on the road, that's how we found you.

Why is it only you here. Where's Zhang Xiao Fan?

Those people are colluding with a village full of monsters. I really can't fight them on my own.

But thankfully, you have all come. Come on!

Come with me to stir up their base.

Brother Shi Tou,

I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling.

Don't say that.

You look so naive and cute. Why do you have such a crow's mouth?

I think that you must be a crow monster.

No, I must go take a look.

What are you going for?

San Niang wanted you to stay here, so don't go anywhere!

Li Xun?

Li Xun. What have you come for?

Do you intend to repay merit with revenge?

Is it him? He's a spirit?

This kid is human. He saved my life once. Don't move for now.

Where is your boss lady? Have her come out and talk.

San Niang isn't here. Search if you'd like.

Li Xun, I'm warning you. Don't act recklessly in this village. The other didn't do you any wrong.

Xiao Qi, run!

Six Tail is in here.

It's already like this already, what use is it for me to lie to you?

I trust you. I'll go first. Open the door.

Xiao Qi! Li Xun, what do you want?

Zhang Xiao Fan, have you already become a spirit's bodyguard?

Senior Brother, don't waste words on them!

Senior Sister, let's go.

- The Mysterious Fire Mirror is inside.- After him.

He's relapsing again!

It's fine. He won't be able to escape from the restraint of the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

No, use that...that thing...try anything!

You think that may Shen Mu (Magical Wood) Spell Chant is some Chinese cabbage. You can just use it whenever you want?

We have to wait some time for my power to be restored!

Stop waiting! Hurry and give it a try!

Hurry and leave! Don't bother with me!

If I become a monster, any magic is useless!

I want to go, but your wife blocked the door! How can we go?

I think Xiao Qi went to alert San Niang!

He'll be back very soon! Wait a bit longer!

That's right! Six Tail, hang in there! I believe you can do it!

Hang in there!

Let's go!

Hurry and think of something! Hold him back!

He's so big! How am I to hold him back?

He's about to break out!

It's working, it's working! Make him small!

Make him small? How? I don't know how!

Don't stop!

Xiao Fan! Wake up!

What did you call me just now?

What? I told you to get up!

It looks like we got separated again. We can only depend on ourselves.

I'll scope out the path. Follow me.

Cut it out, things are already like this.

You're not alert at all. We're enemies, got it?

-Did you bring your brain with you?-Okay okay.

Enemies. Protect yourself.

Do you still remember in the water path in Kong San Mountain

when we escaped from Poison God?

You probably forgot it already.

It looks like you really forgot.

You did this on purpose! You know I forgot, but you ask anyway!

Because those are important memories to me too.

Look. My magic treasure didn't forget your gold bells.

Hurry and move away!

You'll die!

You must hang in there!

It's me, Big Brother! Stop being like this!

It's you, San Mei? You've finally come.

How is Xiao Qi?

He has some internal injuries. I've already given him medicine, he'll be fine.

How do you feel now?

There seemed to be a voice that kept talking inside my heart.

You must hang in there!

Zhang Xiao Fan has come too.

He will definitely have a way to treat your injuries. I'll go look for him right now.

Wait!

San Mei (Third Little Sister), although the Cold Ice Thorn poison can be cured,

but the pain inside my heart is like maggots feeding on corpse, it won't go away.

Big Brother, why is this so?

It's the Heart Demon. From the start, I fell into my heart's demon.

This lifetime's obsession, my yearning for my mother,

has tormented me for so long. This allowed my heart demon to have a chance to take advantage of.

The Heart Demon has already gobbled up my will.

I'm currently losing my self little by little.

No, Big Brother. Everything will get better.

You must hold on.

San Mei, promise me. Before I completely turn evil,

kill me.

Very soon, even the Mysterious Fire Mirror won't be able to restrain me anymore.

By that time, I will kill everyone!

He's changing again! Be careful!

I will definitely not give up. I will definitely cure you.

San Niang, where is Xiao Fan? Hurry and bring them in.

People from Fen Xiang Valley came too. They're just outside.

Before, they suffered an attack by Brother Hu Wei.

But I know that Zhang Xiao Fan can make it through.

We must first keep Li Xun's people outside.

Only then can we think of what to do.

Now that things have come to this, I can only ask for him to come out.

This...this...there's other spirits here?

Da Shuei Zhi (Big Water Fluke), please help me.

What is that monster? Xiao Fan!

-Are you okay?-I'm okay.

Why are you so stupid? You almost died, do you know?

What are you laughing about?

You told me that in the past too. Your expression is the exact same too.

Look.

Bi Yao.

Are you okay?

What was that gold light just now?

-It's the Heaven Book.-Heaven Book?

A lot of things happened, but you probably don't remember them. What is it?

Just now, I think I remembered something.

But it was very hazy.

There are a lot of memories between us that resulted from looking for this.

But perhaps because its power burst through the seal on your body,

Perhaps one day, you'll suddenly remember everything!

You mean, my memories were sealed away?

I'm just guessing.

Don't panic. It can definitely be fixed in the future.

This place should be the center area of the Black Stone Cave.

We should be careful. I feel like it's dangerous here.

Look out!
