The Legend of Chusen II

Episode 16

Senior Brother Xiao.

Did you steal the Broken Heart Flower to threaten the Ghost King

to stop the revival of the Beast God?

That's right. We have a hostage right now.

We can use it to force Ghost King to give us the Subduing Dragon Cauldron as exchange.

The Ghost King won't do that.

His scheme to revive the Beast King comes way before Bi Yao.

Isn't it also good to drag out some time?

It's perfect to stop him from creating the enchantment.

What if he won't exchange?

Bi Yao's body, what should we do with it?

Demonic disciples,

you cannot show mercy to them if there is a fight,

much less to a body!

Junior Sister Lu, the enemy is in front of us. If you continue to be indecisive,

then the fellow disciples that died at Qing Yun

and the fellow people that died because of the Ghost King here,

Where will they go to see injustice now?

Now, it is an emergency situation.

We are lacking in power too.

We cannot take too much into consideration. We have to keep the big picture in mind.

I agree with Senior Brother Xiao.

There's little time. I'll go send the Ghost King a letter right now.

No. It's too dangerous for you to go alone.

I'll go with you.

Be careful.

Let's go.

Jing Yu, I know that you feel like this is wrong.

But in extreme times, you must use extreme methods.

Teacher Uncle Tian and the others are now repairing the barrier and is spending their cultivation.

If we are not able to shatter Ghost King's scheme,

once the Beast God is revived and leads demons to attack,

then the consequences are unthinkable.

Senior Brother, I understand.

The Broken Heart Flower is in our hands right now.

Guili definitely will not give up.

Most of the demon sects are also looking for us.

That's why, right now, we should avoid having a direct confrontation with them.

How about this, Jing Yu? Go back to Fen Xiang Valley,

and tell Junior Master Tian about the situation here.

If possible, ask him to send more people to help.

Okay.

Be careful.

Since you are from the righteous sect,

why must you hide your head but show your tail?

Ghost King! Your daughter is our hands!

If you want the corpse, then exchange it with the Subduing Dragon Cauldron!

Lu Xue Qi.

I heard Qin Wu Yan say that at Little Pool Village, Bi Yao once saved your life.

Is this the way Qing Yun disciples treat their saviors?

The antidote then,

was obtained by Junior Brother Zhang.

Zhang Xiao Fan?

Then in the end, what happened to Zhang Xiao Fan?

He did everything to save so many people in the war at Qing Yun. You could say he saved your whole sect.

But in the end,

Dao Xuan aimed his sword at him instead.

Demon! Do not try to lead our hearts astray!

Lead your hearts astray?

You supposed righteous people,

once you do evil things,

you are more evil than we are.

Forget it. Go back and tell Xiao Yi Cai.

While he was undercover in the demon sect,

he learned what he should.

It's time to be independent.

Don't try to separate us!

What he owes me,

I will definitely get them all back.

Tell him I will keep my appointment with him.

In the past, Immortal Teacher sent me to go undercover in your demon sect.

At that time, I had already noticed you.

Bi Yao. The highly positioned Young Sect Leader.

Everyone loved you.

And I? I am the Eldest Senior Brother everyone respects.

Yet I have to bow down to demonic disciples who were worse than beasts!

In these years, I've always been thinking.

How can I completely destroy you demon sects?

How can I make up for the pain I suffered all these years?

Ten years ago, Zhang Xiao Fan did everything he could

to remove all the hatred.

But there is so much hate.

So much vengeance. How could you remove them?

You're not strong enough. That's why you were swallowed by hate!

You died under the Chusen Sword.

While Zhang Xiao Fan became Gui Li and is living worse than just dying.

The Heaven and Earth are really not benevolent.

As I see it, if you want to live,

you can only be the strongest and the most evil of them all!

Not good. Senior Brother Xiao wants to send me away on purpose!

If you want to blame, then blame your father.

Once I killed your father and destroy all the demon sects,

then there will no longer be fights between the righteous and evil in this world.

Then this hate will naturally be gone.

So you were the beast person?

Lin Jing Yu. Because you are my junior brother,

I don't want to make things hard on you, or kill you!

That's why I sent you away. But you chose the path of death yourself!

Then I have no choice!

What kind of dissident magic did you learn?

Stop!

Another who doesn't differentiate between righteous and demonic.

I want to see where you can hide to!

Where is Lin Jing Yu?

I already told him to hide the Broken Heart Flower.

Hide it? Then what will we use to exchange for the Subduing Dragon Cauldron?

I've never considered giving the Broken Heart Flower to the Ghost King.

Senior Brother Xiao, how could you break your promise?

Why do I need to keep my word to demons?

Don't forget. What did Junior Master Shui Yue tell us before we left?

We must do everything to eliminate evil and must not show mercy.

Guili!

Thankfully, I took a shortcut! Why are you in such a rush?

Go back, Wild Dog. Don't follow me.

Guili.

Who is he?

The Ghost King didn't send someone to follow you, did he?

-I..I..I..!-He wouldn't/

I am Bi Yao's subordinate!

I'm in charge of protecting them! Who are you?

She's Xiao Bai. She's Bi Yao's aunt.

Aunt?

Hello Aunt, hello.

First you called me Auntie, now you call me Aunt?

If you call me such an old name again, I'll curse you to death!

Enough. Where are we going to look?

Isn't Bi Yao the Ghost King's daughter?

Why didn't the Ghost King go searching?

Most of people of Ghost King Sect followed Mr. Ghost and Qing Long to the Underworld Spirit Peak.

The Ghost King is preparing to personally go search!

I suppose he still has somewhat of a good heart.

Xiao Yi Cai stole the Broken Heart Flower.

He will definitely use it to threaten the Ghost King.

Once the two sides come to blows,

Bi Yao will definitely be harmed.

Nothing can happen to Bi Yao's body.

Or else, there's no way to resurrect her.

Let's split up.

Long time no see, Bi Yao.

It's been ten years.

To be honest, I envy you.

Once you fell asleep,

you can sleep until the world ends.

There's no troubles.

There's no pain. There's no sorrow.

Compared to the people who are still in the mortal world, you are a bit more fortunate.

You're not like me. In these years,

I often had insomnia.

I missed Teacher. I missed Xiao Fan.

I missed the days when we worked together.

It's you?

Hurry and come up!

I have nothing to say to you. What I owe you,

I will repay you if I get the chance.

You guys go first!

Let's go!

Bi Yao. You will definitely survive.

I must call Xiao Fan here.

What should I do?

Not good!

Demon Subduing Cave.

Wild Dog.

Send a message to the Ghost King. Say that I've found Bi Yao.

Tell him not to worry.

Long time no see, Ghost King.

Xiao Yi Cai.

You want to get the Subduing Dragon Cauldron?

You can have it. But I have to see my daughter first.

Where is the Broken Heart Flower?

What time is it now? You dare to request things of me?

Hand over the Subduing Dragon Cauldron.

Or else, don't even think of seeing your daughter again.

What are you laughing at? You're already nearing your death and you still deliberately mystifying things.

Xiao Yi Cai, oh Xiao Yi Cai.

When I first put the Beast God's blood in your body,

do you think I didn't keep any backup plans?

Do you feel

that within this Ten Thousand Mountains,

the broken Beast God's spirit is continuously calling to you?

As the seed for the Beast God's substitute body,

you've grown splendidly.

You're about to be ripe.

Now, you dare to request things of me?

What Beast God's blood?

Stop driving a wedge between us! Hurry and hand over the Subduing Dragon Cauldron! Immediately!

No! I'm not a substitute!

I'm Xiao Yi Cai!

Senior Brother! I'll help you!

No matter if it is the beast person or a Qing Yun disciple,

I will be waiting at the Underworld Spirit Peak.

If you manage to come up alive,

then come!

Why did Xiao Yi Cai become the beast person just now?

Sect Leader. Did you find Bi Yao?

Wild Dog sent a message that they already found Bi Yao.

It's inside the Demon Subduing Cave. Gui Li is guarding her.

Sect Leader. The righteous sects attacked Fen Xiang Valley.

Our men were unable to defeat them and has already retreated to the Hundred Thousand Great Mountain

to avoid the sharp weapons of the enmies.

They are below the mountain right now waiting for your orders.

Qing Yun sent many masters this time too.

Even Tian Bu Yi has come.

That's fine.

Once the Four Spiritual Beast Blood Formation is activated,

the Beast God's spirit will control these mountains.

By that time, no matter how many enemies there are, they are not to be feared.

Sect Leader, why didn't you bring back the sacrifice?

If you let him fall into righteous hands, it will be trouble.

The Beast God power scattered here

has definitely felt the proximity of the sacrifice.

The further the sacrifice enters the mountains, the stronger his power becomes.

He can definitely feel the Beast God's spirit's summoning, and will come here.

Let's begin the enchantment.

Jing Yu!

Xiao Fan! Xiao Fan.

Hey! Are you still there?

Hey! Make some noise!

Hey! Anyone there?

Hey! Anyone there?

It seems pretty deep.

No matter what, I'll go take a look first.

No! I'll go down first. Follow me.

Come.

Be careful.

Xiao Fan.

Did you hear wrong?

There's nothing here.

No, I threw a bun down here yesterday.

A bun?

Jing Yu! Blood! Blood!

It seems like it.

So much blood.

It doesn't look like a bunny.

Also, the bun I tossed down here yesterday is gone.

It must have been eaten.

I say, it either left itself,

or else, someone saved it.

Don't worry.

It should be like that. But,

do bunnies eat meat buns?

Or is it a fox?

It couldn't be a person, right?

Can you not think nonsense?

This place is so high up! You can't get out without a rope.

Besides, our Grass Temple Village is below Qing Yun Mountain.

What could happen? Look at you freaking out.

Let's go back.

Hey Jing Yu, this place is so hidden.

It's good to be our secret play place!

If we play here from now on, they definitely won't find us!

I say, when did you become so smart?

You can't catch me!

Come, come!

From now on, let's play here often.

Your magic was sucked out by someone.

Who knows such evil magic?

It was Senior Brother Xiao.

It turns out he has Beast God blood in him. The beast person in the Black Bamboo Forest

was him. He's under the Beast God's control.

The enemy is in front of us now. Why did you use your spiritual energy

to heal me? Qing Yun and the Ghost King Sect

will create trouble for you.

The entire world is my enemy now.

Wherever I go, whatever I do, what difference is there?

I heard Jing Ping Er say

that you looked for the Heaven Book to stop the revival of the Beast God.

Right now, you and the Ghost King have already turned against each other.

Do you not want to return to Qing Yun? Senior Master Tian has been waiting for you.

I only follow my own heart now.

I only live for myself.

No one can truly live for themselves.

Even if the road ahead is full of thorns, you still won't be afraid?

In travelling up to here, which steps did I take that's not full of thorns?

Just now, I happened to enter this cave.

I thought that I already have no place to go. But like it was fated,

I got guidance from the Heaven.

This is the Witch Ling Long.

This is the place where she sealed the Beast God away.

The Beast God?

Ghost King told me that when the Four Spiritual Beast Blood Formation is completed,

Bi Yao may wake up.

Then what do you want to do?

To fight to the end with the Ghost King.

-And then?-Resurrect Bi Yao.

This is too dangerous. What can I do for you?

There's no need. I don't want to owe anyone anything.

Guili. Bi Yao is my friend too.

You should go back. I hope from now on, I won't fight with you again.

Bi Yao.

I'm going out for a bit. I need to borrow your Broken Heart Flower. I'll be back very soon.

I set an enchantment in front of the cave entrance.

From now on, only you can go in.

Others cannot enter this ancient cave.

Unless you use a talisman to remove it.

Thank you.

I'm saving my niece.

Nephew-in-law, don't be too courteous.

That's right! Why are you being so courteous? We're family!

Who's family with you?

We're not close. Stay away from me.

What ghost is that?

It's not a ghost.

The parts of the Beast God's spirit returning

has awakened the evil monsters lurking inside the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains.

Wait for me here. I'll go look for Ghost King.

He left me behind again!

Would you die if you bring a subordinate with you?

He doesn't want you to go die.

Even if I die, I can't let him die!

Or else, the Bi Yao in the cave and Xiao Huan in Yudu

will hate me to death!

I'm going!

If the younger generation is pushing themselves too much,

the older generation also can't stop worrying.

Forget it. I'll help you all one more time.

Thank you Aunt!

Guili. We meet again.

Did you find Bi Yao?

She's fine. No need for you all to worry.

When Senior Brother Xiao stole the Broken Heart Flower,

I didn't know Bi Yao was inside.

Xiao Yi Cai is under the Beast God's control now.

Go back and tell your people.

Our people?

That also means, you are on the Ghost King's side now, right?

I only want to resurrect Bi Yao now. Don't force me to attack.

Do you still remember the first time we fought during the Seven Palace Martial Arts competition?

Of course I remember.

The you then

already can use the Magical Sword Driving Lightning Technique. Really quite a great feat.

At that time, no matter if it was my magic or cultivation,

both were below your level.

But I lost that competition.

I also know that at the end,

you held back on purpose.

But I don't really know why but I just can't control my desire to win.

It's been so long already.

You still put them in your heart? What meaning is there?

Starting from that time,

us fighting side by side at Yudu, you risking your life to protect me at Death Spiritual Abyss,

living or dying together at Little Pond Village,

Everything that happened in the past, I remember them all. I've never forgotten.

Why are you being like this?

Today, I'm telling you these things, to tell you Junior Brother Zhang,

that in these ten years, my heart has never been able to forget.

My heart still hoped that you could turn back.

But now, my heart was just yearning foolishly.

Nothing can turn back now.

Guili. Do you still remember the words you said to me at Tian Di Treasure Trove?

It's finally come for the time when we fight. Let me see

how much you've improved in these ten years!

Since you joined the demon sect, why are you still using righteous sect magic?

This world's magic originally did not differentiate between demonic and righteous.

It's the human heart that makes the difference.

It is good in the hands of the heroic.

In a demon's hands, it's evil.

The victor has been determined. You can leave.

I came here under sect orders.

I must end past wrongs with you!

What past wrongs? Cang Song? Or Dao Xuan?

Let the past be the past.

It's useless to say more. I've forgotten the rest.

The pain and hopelessness of being sealed for thousands of years

can finally end.

If I can live in a body again, I will definitely

kill everyone!

Immortal Beast, please be calm.

The enchantment is finished.

The spirits here in Hundred Thousand Great Mountain are now gathering to this place.

Don't worry. We will definitely do our best this time

to give you a complete body and be fully revived.

I need blood. Other than the Four Spiritual Beast Blood Formation,

I still need a young body!

Did you prepare a sacrifice for me?

The sacrifice is on his way.

Very soon, you will see him.

I can feel it. It's the scent of blood!

It's the sacrifice created from the blood I left in the human world!

It's not perfect enough,

but it will do.

Such strong power. If he is revived,

won't everyone be in danger?

We can only try it now.

From the setting up of the Four Spiritual Beast Blood Formation

until it reaches it's peak power, it takes 12 hours.

Nothing can go wrong during this time.

Azure Dragon, Youji. Arrange for the other disciples

Go down the mountain to guard. You must not look down on your enemy's abilities.

What about Bi Yao? What do we do about her?

Wild Dog sent news that Gui Li has sealed Bi Yao inside the Demon Suppressing Cave.

Xiao Bai set an enchantment.

There shouldn't be any problems.

We must stay here to ensure the movement of the Four Spiritual Beast Formation

will there be a chance to resurrect Bi Yao.

You Ji...from fulfilling the grand ambition of our sect,

we are only one step away.

Keep the big picture in mind.

Yes.

What do I see?

Oh, it's a chess piece!

Go away! Go away!

You were originally the head disciple of the Qing Yun Sect's Sect Leader.

You had great talent with a bright future.

But in one moment, fate changed.

Your teacher abandoned you.

He told you to go undercover in the demon sect.

No! No! No!

I always kept the big picture in mind!

Kept the big picture in mind?

With so many disciples, why did he send you?

When one outstanding tree surpasses everyone in growth, then it surely will be the first one that the wind will destroy.

After you returned from going undercover, Qi Hao had risen in his position

and obtained great power.

Qi Hao is my Junior Brother! He won't be the next Sect Leader!

It's impossible! It's impossible!

You saw the truth long ago.

Heaven and Earth are not benevolent and treat every living thing equally like an abandoned stray dog.

In your teacher's eyes, your life or death isn't important.

You're just a chess piece.

Ghost King wanted you to suffer and drink my blood.

How is the feeling of countless days and nights of pain?

Come to my side.

No one will ever dare to look down on you again.

As long as you come to my side, you can obtain great power!

You can get revenge against those who harmed you.

Fulfill the wish that you dreamed of!
