The Legend of Chusen II

Episode 14

Thank you for saving my life, Senior.

We went easy on you this time.

If Junior Master didn't spare your life, I'd definitely rip you to shreds!

Qin Wu Yan, I risked great danger

to save your life.

Do you know what to do?

I will definitely do my best

to repay this favor.

Good. Get up.

I heard the Ten Thousand Poison Sect as a Ten Thousand Poison Handbook.

Is that true?

Yes. I once copied it once for my teacher, Poison God.

In it was recorded more than 306 types of recipes,

and 6800 types of poison.

If it could be turned into a pill, not only could poisonous injuries be healed,

it can increase their cultivation and prolong their life.

Since you copied it over once, do you still remember?

Of course.

Good. Then I'll have you write it all out.

Let's take it as a way for you to make up for your past wrongs.

It's a great chance for you. I hope you can make good use of it.

If you play any tricks on me...

Being given the chance to live the rest of my life here in Fenxiang Valley,

I wouldn't dare to think of anything else. I will do my task well.

I will not think of anything else.

He is just like a disabled person without his cultivation.

You do not need to worry, Senior Brother.

Ghost King will not let a traitor stay at Fen Xiang Valley.

If Qing Yun asks about it, what should we say?

After Qin Wu Yan has finished writing the Ten Thousand Poison handbook

and created medical pills, the disciples will become much stronger.

That would be perfect to defeat the demon sects.

As for Qing Yun,

I've never even considered them.

Our sect's martial arts techniques has deep origin and is vast.

Even if you cultivate and train for your whole lifetime, you still won't be able to perfect it.

Why do you always like learning dissident magic?

Demonic magic swallows human hearts. If it lashes back on you,

what are you going to do?

Can you not repeatedly mention that?

No one has ever learned the Heaven Book.

There's no evidence that it will refract back on human hearts.

Unless...you've already went to the Mysterious Fire Altar and read the Heaven Book?

You-!

Junior Brother, why don't you trust me either?

Don't think about the Heaven Book.

It's no use to you.

I'm doing this for Fen Xiang Valley's 100 year plan!

Teacher waited for his whole lifetime and in the end, died with depression.

We already have reached the most opportune time to prosper and expand this sect,

to conquer the Central Plains, and to rule over the demonic and righteous realms!

Why do we have to sit and watch this chance pass us by?

It's not time yet.

Now, the Ghost King Sect has a deep grudge with the Qing Yun Sect.

We have to maintain our strength.

We'll let them fight first,

And the Heaven Book is the best ignition for them to start fighting.

Teacher, Junior Master.

Qing Yun disciple, Lin Jing Yu, has arrived.

Even a person with such high cultivation as Shang Zhang Liang still suffered an ambush?

Yes. As Junior Master Tian guesses,

the Ghost King Sect's next target,

may be your Fen Xiang Valley.

The Heaven Book is here, so the Ghost King won't give up.

But we have many masters and heavy security.

We're not like you, where any traitors and spies can get in.

The evil sect is full of cunning schemes. We can't fully defend against them.

I hope you will not make mistakes, Senior Yun.

I know.

You've traveled far.

Please go and rest.

Senior Yun, where is the Heaven Book being kept?

Do you need someone to protect it? How about you let me-

The Heaven Book is very safe right now.

I don't need you to worry.

Please.

How come only you are here? Didn't they say that the support troops will be coming?

I came alone.

Where is Qin Wu Yan? Weren't you two taking action together?

He's already entered Fen Xiang Valley.

How did he get in?

A self-injury scheme. His own cultivation was destroyed too.

-Where are you going?-Fen Xiang Valley.

Ghost King already said it. Unless he and Azure Dragon personally come,

we cannot take action on our own.

Wait, Guili! What are you going to do?

Go back now. Don't get involved in this.

Why are you so familiar with Fen Xiang Valley?

When did you come here?

In a dream a long time ago.

Why did you follow me again?

I'm here to steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror. Didn't I already warned you beforehand?

Let's go.

So you came to look for the Heaven Book?

Qin Wu Yan once sent a message to me.

Saying that the Heaven Book most likely was stored near the Mysterious Fire Altar.

But near the Mysterious Fire Altar, there is a very strong defense barrier and we must not rashly get near it.

We better first meet up with Qin Wu Yan

and confirm the location of the Heaven Book before making any plan.

We cannot wait any longer.

If we let Ghost King get the Heaven Book, it will be trouble.

We cannot alert Qin Wu Yan.

You've gotten into an argument with Ghost King?

I'm the middle person.

As long as I don't tell them, they won't know what is happening here.

Please trust me.

You're working for Ghost King right now.

How can I trust you?

Because I don't want the Beast God to be revived either.

Thousand Poison Recipe

This is great. With this Ten Thousand Poison Handbook,

as long as Junior Master says some good words in front of Teacher,

you won't be in danger anymore.

Perhaps, he'll take you as a disciple.

I do not dare to hope to enter the sect.

As long as I can stay, I am already very happy.

This world is so big. Why do you want to stay here?

This world is so big, but there isn't a place for me to stay.

I can stay here.

The more important thing is, during these days, it's all thanks to your care.

Recalling while we were at Death Marsh, I almost killed you.

I am very sorry.

It's all thanks to the mercy you showed then too.

A girl as pretty as you,

no one would be able to kill you.

Get some rest.

I'll go look for Junior Master. I can't make him wait for long.

Never thought that the two of you loves to listen behind walls.

She just gave you a chance to change yourself,

and turn back. Why did I need to interrupt?

Did you come to tease me?

Do you really think I would like such a stupid girl?

Not necessarily.

Even the precious secret book of Thousand Poison Sect was already sold by you,

What else is there that you wouldn't do?

In the Ten Thousand Poison Handbook's most important

recipes that talk about increasing cultivation, I made some changes.

Based on Shang Guan Ce's shallow and idiotic medicinal knowledge,

he wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

When he takes it to create medicine pills, he'll kill himself through an explosion.

Within tonight, Fen Xiang Valley will be blown to pieces. As long as you two...

No. Shouldn't it be Azure Dragon that came to meet me?

Why did you come? Where is he?

There's been a change of plans.

Azure Dragon told me to come first. Where is the Heaven Book?

Guili. Where is the Ghost King's secret order?

There is no secret order. I am the secret order.

You have lost your cultivation now. I can kill you in one blow.

That's good too.

I was able to learn from Yan Hong that the Heaven Book has been sealed inside the Mysterious Fire Altar.

I knew you would come here!

Where are the others?

Junior Master Tian is on his way.

Do you want to wait until everyone has arrived to attack?

I don't have time to stay with you. Move aside.

Guili! Do you still want to help Ghost King revive the Beast God?

-Lin Jing Yu. Guili is not--Stop talking.

I don't need to explain to anyone what I am doing.

I won't let you succeed!

Move aside!

Why did you hurt Teacher Uncle Shang Zheng Liang? Did you let anyone borrow your weapon?

I have never seen Shang Zheng Liang.

Who's there?

Let's go.

I said leaving that Qin Wu Yan would lead to trouble!

Look! He drew Guili here so soon!

Senior Brother, Hong'er has been watching Qin Wu Yan.

He cannot possibly send out any messages.

I think Guili came here under orders from the Ghost King.

It has nothing to do with him.

Then explain,

why is Guili

so familiar with Fen Xiang Valley's layout?

Senior Brother, just let me deal with this.

After the medicine is finished, I will give you an answer.

The direction that they were going is clearly the Mysterious Fire Altar.

Looks like putting the Heaven Book inside the Mysterious Fire Altar isn't safe anymore.

Senior Brother, stop worrying so much.

The barrier around the Mysterious Fire Altar can only be opened by the two of us.

No one can get in.

Then how did that six tailed fox demon get in?

Junior Brother, the Mysterious Fire Altar is the sacred place of our sect.

Under it, there is even a thousand year old fox monster.

It has already been broken into before.

They were even able to steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

This time, we must not make mistakes.

Seniors.

Why not let me guard in front of the Mysterious Fire Altar.

Perhaps I can be there when Guili comes.

I am grateful for your help.

Our sects don't need outsiders getting involved.

Elder Yun, it is indeed true that the Mysterious Fire Altar is a very important sacred place of Fenxiang Valley.

But the Heaven Book matter deals with everyone's safety.

Our common enemy is the demon sect's Ghost King.

Besides, Guili was once a Qing Yun disciple.

Junior Master Tian told me before.

We had to try and capture him. We have to give an answer to the sect.

Try?

How are you going to try? If Qing Yun wants to capture a traitor,

should you find a way yourself?

You even are using the Heaven Book as a bait.

You've misunderstood, Senior. We just-

We appreciate your good intentions.

Even though you are head of Qing Yun's disciplinary committee,

but you are still a junior. You don't have enough experience.

Don't mention such a nonsensical request anymore.

You're dismissed.

Qing Yun is being too much.

They pretend like we have no one, trying to interfere with everything!

Senior Brother. I'll go enhance the enchantment now,

just in case.

Remember what you said. After the medicine is made,

hurry and finish off Qin Wu Yan

to avoid future trouble.

Of course.

Your Senior Brother not only doesn't want you to learn the Heaven Book, he doesn't want you to make medicine either

to increase cultivation.

He's afraid you'll be stronger than him.

Ever since, he has never trusted you.

Open the Mysterious Fire Mirror and the Heaven Book will be yours.

Why not give it a try?

Damn fox demon!

I won't let you trick me!

Xiao Fan!

Towards you, I have no feelings of pity at all.

I remember!

Mr. Poison, right?

People have to follow fate. And he, is my fate.

When one's lover is far, yearning is so hard.

Several loving intentions are hard to be reciprocated.

Ten years of affection needs hundred of years to dissolve. If our yearning for each other will not be severed,

I can't bear to see you suffering.

Bi Yao. In the end, he didn't...forsake you.

-Qin Wu Yan, hurry and go! Leave here!-What is it?

Guili broke into Fen Xiang Valley today.

Teacher and Junior Master are suspicious of you.

So after they finish the medicine tonight, they'll kill me, right?

There are so many people in this world who destroy the bridge after crossing it (abandon one's promise).

You don't need to worry about me.

Before I came in here, I'd already prepared an escape route.

I will definitely escape unhamred.

Prepared an escape route?

Are you really in cahoots with Guili?

You're late.

This is ridiculous!

What use is it for you to continue relations with this girl?

It's been so long since I have seen such caring gaze.

So I can't help but to fool around with her for a few days.

Besides, my cultivation was just removed. Besides seeing her, who can I see?

Fen Xiang Valley was this cruel!

They'll suffer the consequences soon.

Shangguan Ci is making medicine. The cauldron will explode.

Either the Fenxiang disciples will suffer from Seven Pores Bleeding Poison or

they will be ripped into a million pieces and die.

You came just in time. How did you get in?

Have you forgotten? Six Tail Fox Monster previously came here to steal the Mysterious Fire Mirror.

He prepared the map and gave it to us a long time ago.

It's easy for me to come here.

The Heaven Book right now is inside the Mysterious Fire Altar.

To open it, we need Shangguan Ci and Yun Yilan's keys.

But, Guili has already gone a step ahead.

Looks like it's all within the Sect Leader's plan.

Let's allow Guili to start things off.

It's fine if we just wait for the results to come.

Guili. What is your plan?

A diversion tactic.

How?

Shangguan Ci definitely cannot tell

if the Heaven Book he holds is theirs or mine.

As long as I release the Heaven Book,

Shang Guan Ce will surely think that the Heaven Book has left the Mysterious Fire Altar.

He'll suspect that Yun Yilan stole it.

Heaven Book? Why is it in the disciples' villa?

Junior Master!

What happened?

Nothing.

Lord indeed guessed everything correctly.

Compared to Ghost King, you are not inferior in any respect.

What did you say? The Heaven Book is sealed away!

Why would I need to take it to the disciples' villa?

But I clearly saw the gold light of the Heaven Book in the villa.

Just be frank.

Did you want to take out the Heaven Book for Xun'er to learn?

Junior Master, you-! What are you saying?

Junior Brother, you don't believe me?

Let's then personally go to the Mysterious Fire Altar to check on it.

You can see it now. How are things?

Your mind has gone crazy, spouting nonsense!

When the medicine cauldron explodes, stay out here as backup. I'll go in and steal the Heaven Book.

Okay.

What was that sound? It's the medicine room?

Impossible! The disciples are making medicine right now! I'll go take a look.

No! I'll go. Don't go again.

Stay here, to avoid creating more trouble.

Before I return, don't leave!

I'll hold him back. Hurry and go in!

If you get this, you will no longer be suppressed by your senior brother.

-Who are you?-Who are you?

I can feel the regret in your heart.

There's pain, hate, and vengeance.

It's really the best food for the heart demon.

But, why is there a shred of hope within so much darkness?

It's like a lamp.

Who left you this light?

Where is Xiao Liu (Little Six)? Wasn't the Mysterious Fire Mirror taken by him?

Why is it here?

The Little Six you're talking about, is it that six tailed fox demon?

Yes.

He's dead.

Ten years ago, he died in Black Stone Cave.

What did you say?

My son...is dead?

You are Six Tail's mother?

Fox demon! Go and die!

-Are you okay?-Lin Jing Yu!

You told us that you will help us guard the Mysterious Fire Altar. Never thought that you have connived with Gui Li to steal the Heaven Book.

Li Xun! Don't frame me!

-You are Mr. Blood, Guili?-Yes.

Li Xun stole my Heaven Book from the Tian Di Treasure Trove. I have come back to get it today.

Guili! You and Lin Jing Yu are in cahoots! Neither of you can protect the other!

My conscience is clear. No need for you to defend me.

I, the Deputy Sect Leader of the Ghost King Sect, request that you make your move, Valley Master.

Gui Li, you just come here as you want. Are you insulting my Fenxiang Valley to have no one?

Li Xun! I definitely cannot let him leave alive this time!

Lin Jing Yu! You are in cahoots with the demon sect?

Don't blame me for getting rid of you for Qing Yun!

You aren't on our side. Hurry and leave before the enchantment is finished.

Guili, this is Fen Xiang Valley's magic.

Your injury isn't healed yet, you cannot fight.

Go first, I'll block them.

Catch!

Let's go!

-Guili!-Guili!

How much cultivation did you use?

Guili!

Don't chase after him.

Deal with Fen Xiang Valley first. We'll deal with the rest later.

Fen Xiang Valley was attacked so soon?

Just what is Yun Yilan doing?

According to Lin Jing Yu's message, Yun Yilan first fell for Qin Wu Yan's inside and outside joint plan.

To create eternal life medicine, the valley was thrown into chaos.

In the end, because Gui Li released the nine tail fox monster, he got hindered by it.

When Ghost King led his men to attack, Yun Yi Lan has already lost much of their strength and can only retreat hurriedly.

Then where did he go now?

Junior Brother Jing Yu has gone looking. His life should not be in danger.

It's just, Shangguan Ci has fallen into the Ghost King's hands now, and we don't know if he is dead or alive.

The Ghost King Sect is in control of the entrance to the Ten Thousand Mountains now.

Not for long, they will surely go over the barrier and enter the Hundred Thousand Great Mountain.

If the Hundred Thousand Great Mountain fall into their hands, then the monsters and beast that reside there

will definitely rush into the Central Plains!

It looks like Ghost King wants to revive the Beast God.

I originally intended to go with Tian Ying there a few days later.

But I didn't think that Fen Xiang Valley would be lost so soon.

That's fine. It looks like I have to personally take action.

I'll take the disciples to the Ten Thousand Mountains to stop the Ghost King.

Senior Master! I will go with you.

Good!

Junior Sister, Shu Chang. I'll leave Qing Yun to you.

Bi Yao.

BI Yao.

Bi Yao.

Bi Yao.

Thank you, Senior. You not only saved my life,

but healed my injuries too.

Don't misunderstand. I just don't want to owe you anything.

I've never seen someone who goes to such extremes as you.

Your own life was in danger,

yet you still wanted to save others.

Did you know? Your body was about to explode earlier?

I know.

You knew? You knew, yet you continued using your cultivation.

Do you want to die?

Don't worry, Senior. I will not die.

You are using the Capturing Blood Pearl and the Soul Bringer, two very evil items, as your weapon.

Evil energy will get into your body very deeply. Especially this Capturing Blood Pearl,

it contains ruthless and murderous spirit. It consumes one's soul without you noticing.

I'm guessing that you have frequently endured much suffering from it

and your personality is becoming more and more blood thirsty and likes to kill. Am I right?

If you didn't have strong cultivation, with Qing Yun and Tian Ying,

these very pure and good neutralizing energies helping you block it,

I'm afraid you would have gone crazy long ago,

and died from insanity.

Don't look at me like that.

A old woman like me who has lived for thousands of years

naturally knows a lot of things.

But,

You being able to survive up to now under the evil energy of the Capturing Blood Pearl and the baleful energy of the Soul Bringer,

You can be considered an exception.

But it's hard to guess how long your body will last for.

Young man, after today, if you want to live on peacefully,

I think you should

throw away this world's most evil object soon.

Do you know? This world's most evil object

saved my life so many times.

If I leave it, I can live on peacefully.

But did you know? If I don't have it, I might have died long ago.

There's something that you were wrong about.

What was it?

This world's most evil object isn't this.

It's human hearts.

- Are there any news about the nine tail fox monster?- Nine tail fox monster's power are very strong. We didn't bother looking for her.

Ghost King just doesn't want to draw a strong enemy here at the most important moment, right?

Wu Yan, I can help you reconnect your joints and vessels. But to regain your cultivation,

we have to wait for the Ghost King to give you magic and start cultivation anew.

Guili's betrayal has already made the Sect Leader displeased.

Stop being a smart aleck and angering him.

I am a disabled person. Why would I dare to anger him?

Stop underestimating yourself already.

You did great things for the Ghost King Sect this time.

Sect Leader has already agreed to give you a scroll of the Heaven Book

to help you restore your magic.

Really?

The Sect Leader does as he says. Besides, right now, we need all the help we can.

He needs help too.

Hurry and heal, and come with me to the Ten Thousand Mountains.

Okay.

That's right. Will Guili go too? Will he stop the enchantment?

Youji is taking Bi Yao here.

To be honest, for Bi Yao, I don't want to be enemies with him either.

He is also doing this for Bi Yao.

But, he won't listen to you all either.

Why are you leaving her by your side? You're not afraid she'll wake up and stab you?

My cultivation is gone. I need a shield

to help me block against the Fen Xiang Valley members, right?
