The Legend of Chusen

Episode 15

Shu Shu, what's wrong?

I'm so busy constructing the model dam system. So exhausted that every place in my body aches.

And I thought something was really wrong! You're a Qing Yun disciple after all.

How can you act like this?

Let's go. Come with me to Tianhe (Sky Harmony) Clinic.

Cut it out, I really can't move!

Do you think I'm going to play?

I'm going to get cold medication for Grandpa Wei!

Come on!

Not so hard!

Please get medicine for me according to this prescription.

Okay, let me see.

Let me see.

This-! What is this?

This is medicine to treat colds!

This is amazing!

These medicines are all high quality anti-cold medicines.

So it can still be mixed like this?!

Good! Which master wrote this prescription?

This was prescribed by the medicine saint, Immortal Three Nine!

I knew it! What kind of regular person could have written a prescription like this?

I say, Xiao Er!

Come come come!

Follow this prescription.

Boss, do you have medicine for aches and pains?

We have. We have. We have. This is our clinic's own secret recipe.

This bone sore medicinal plaster can soothe your pain the earlier you put it on.

The ingredients include Jinbuhuan (very precious) these kinds of very gentle ingredients.

Put it on at ease. It's nothing big.

-Thank you Boss!-You're welcome.

It's all better!

You don't know! I was so tired yesterday!

Thankfully your work wasn't in vain. Your sacrifice was worth it.

Jing Yu,

last night, I saw Xiao Fan and Bi Yao-

There's nothing between them.

I'm not saying that there is.

I say, they have so many grudges!

In the end even asking Ye Gou (Wild Dog) to cause trouble.

Bi Yao...probably didn't know about it.

Let's go then. I'll let you see my new achievement.

The last part is to construct the dam already.

My life that was born to work!

Where's the diagram?

I didn't touch it.

Sir!

Sir, bad news! The treasury got robbed.

It was only a few hours! The model and diagram both disappeared!

Yan Li, nothing like this has ever happened before in the years you have guarded Yudu!

What is going on?

There were many things going on last night. First, Miss Xiao Huan went missing.

Not long after, someone created trouble in the city.

Our forces are not enough to deal with it all.

Someone dares to steal from my mansion!

Please do not be angry. I will crack the case very soon.

Are there any clues?

It must have to do with the evil sect.

The river's pollution was their doing. Ruining the plan makes sense.

Yesterday, cousin was too showy

causing the opponent to know that there's no one inside the mansion and the security would be lax.

That makes sense. The opponents must have drawn the tiger away from the mountain while the play was going on.

You're blaming me for my stuff being stolen?

I just feel like the thieves were not from the Ghost King Sect!

Do you have proof for such a certain statement?

Now that things have come to this, arguing would be useless.

Yan Li!

Go investigate where the model and diagram has gone right now!

Yes.

It ran here?

Okay, you even ran here.

Say something!

A lesson! Teach him a lesson!

What is he saying?

"Give him a lesson".

Could it be something the thief said last night?

I think that when they came to steal

the parrot learned what they were saying.

Who said it?

Could it be...them?

Not likely. Last night, Wild Dog was creating trouble back stage.

How could he have time to steal things here?

Besides, if Bi Yao wanted to create trouble,

she wouldn't have agreed to help us.

What if she's being naughty? Wanting to join our play

but also don't want you to construct the dam?

That's unlikely, right? Too exhausting.

Xue Qi!

Xue Qi?

Sir, teach them a lesson1

-Sir?-Sir?

-Could it be Li Xun?-Li Xun?

I'm going!

Where are you going?

That bastard is still stealing ideas from me now!

You guys come with me! See how cut him into pieces!

Calm down.

Your grandpa was just angry, and his body is unwell.

Are you going to start fighting with Li Xun in the mansion?

We know who has the diagram now.

He cannot escape for long.

At the moment, we have to find the model first.

Stop!

You can't do anything right!

It's a miracle you Lie Xie Sect could have survived until today!

It was my fault, I don't dare to do it again!

Young Mistress, look upon the fact that I was loyal! It was out of the goodness of my heart!

J-just spare me!

Lord Dog, can you spare me once?

I came to Yudu City to do serious things!

You are just creating trouble for me here!

What do you expect me to do?

What do you mean "Ah"? Get lost and go back to Hu Xi Mountain!

No, Young Mistress!

Young Mistress! I already promised Mr. Ghost

that I must help you find the Wanfu (Thousand Bats) Ancient Cave or else I won't go back.

Please be merciful, Young Mistress!

-Please be merciful!-Indeed, you were on the same side!

What are you doing?

You bastards! You made me severely lose face!

What? You're going for a frontal attack now?

Go go go! Get lost!

Give the money back. Or else, no one should think of leaving today.

The grand Qing Yun Sect has fallen to

stealing in broad daylight?

Last night you sent people to the City Chief's mansion to steal the model and the diagram.

Do you still want to refute it?

Don't frame me! What would I need those things for?

You pretended to help Zheng Shu Shu and Zhang Xiao Fan. But in reality,

you sent people to repeatedly create trouble!

Even stealing the donated money. You still dare to deny it?

Young Mistress, I didn't steal their stuff!

You just don't want us to fix the river. To let the pollution spread!

Speak. What motive do you have?

Forget it! On Zhang Xiao Fan and Lin Jing Yu's faces,

I won't fall to your level! Just leave!

What are you doing? What are you doing?

I admit that I did create trouble!

I have one life! Come get it if you can!

But it has nothing to do with our Young Mistress!

Apologize to her!

Xue Qi! Dear Xue Qi!

Hurry and come back! The thief has been found!

Look, look look!

I already said you were mistaken!

Look at her, she didn't even apologize!

Are you done yet?

Don't appear in front of me today! Hurry and disappear!

I-!

I sent people to investigate outside of the city last night.

I didn't know that Zheng Shu Shu will store the money inside the treasury.

After receiving the news, I also didn't sent men to immediately escort them. I failed in my duty.

Please punish me.

The one who stole the model was following us the whole time.

Besides, in these years, the merits you have earned for Yudu

are enough to make up for your wrong.

I called you over for another matter.

I want to hear your thoughts on it. Get up.

Please say it, City Chief.

Yudu has been at peace for many years.

But recently, first the river became polluted,

and then many of the evil sect came.

Qing Yun, Fen Xiang, and Tian Ying

all sent young disciples to move around the city.

Many years ago, you once reminded me

that some outsiders won't stick to their place.

You give them a place to stay, but they may not appreciate it.

I did once say that.

And now, I will still say that.

Yudu City flourishes because

- of it being all-inclusive.- Yes.

We still don't know the main purpose of the righteous and evil sects.

I'm just afraid that my body cannot last for much longer.

I hope that the future Yudu City Chief

have the ambition and the ability to properly use his people

so he can calm the situation

and be the whole city's citizens' support.

About everything that Shu Shu and Li Xun have been doing,

you already saw them.

What do you think of my two grandsons?

I must be frank. They are too young.

Zheng Shu Shu is mischievous and doesn't understand human pain. His heart is still young.

Always doing things unconventionally. But good thing he is kind-hearted but because of it he is quite naive.

Shu Shu needs more experience.

Li Xun is a bit better. He is also from a famous sect. I think he has been given responsibility in Fen Xiang Valley.

He acts quite more calmly. Every speech and move has usually undergone multiple considerations.

Fen Xiang Gu's (Burning Incense Valley) Yun Yilan is a known strict teacher.

Li Xun does seem more stable than Shu Shu.

It's just a shame that Li Xun is arrogant. He thinks about his benefit in everything in does.

He didn't help one bit during the charity event. I'm afraid that he's unable to tolerate people.

He wouldn't even tolerate his own younger cousin. How could he tolerate the city's people?

So I feel like neither of them fit your requirements.

It's because of this that they need your help even more.

I understand. No matter what, I will do my best to help.

Then let's observe them for a bit longer.

The place was too exciting yesterday! It's a shame that you didn't come.

You also know that I don't like crowded places.

-Sister Jing, there's some words...-It won't hurt to say them.

They all say that Bi Yao belong to the Ghost King Sect and you are the He Hwan Sect's Mr. Miao.

A black duck laughs at a pig for being black. Everyone can't wash their dark past away. We are also like that.

I know that Sister don't care about positions or fame. I'm just afraid that your Silk Embroider Workshop might encounter trouble.

Thank you for your reminders. I will keep my distance from them.

I always thought that Grandpa Wei's Yudu is the safest and happiest place in the world.

I didn't think that now it'd become the ground where the good and evil sects fight.

There will be conflict wherever there are people.

The Yudu now is complicated, where friend and enemy is unclear.

So you must take good care of yourself and the two grandpas. I will deal with my own matters.

Previously, you willingly decreased your lifespan just to help remove the evil spirits in my body.

I have always remembered that favor. I won't forsake your trust.

You are my good sister for life! Of course I trust you!

Sister.

I'm going out for a moment. Do as you want here. Let's go.

16 liang silvers makes one catty (0.5 kg). 20,000 liang silvers...that's 3,200 catty!

Guard Yan, are you asking me thinking that I can move over 3000 taels of money?

Stop laughing it off. I'm just doing my duty. Last night, you're the only outsider who entered the City Leader's residence. If I don't ask you, who should I ask?

I did go bring wine to the Old City Chief. I go every year.

First you say I stole the diagram, then you said I stole money.

Am I capable of cloning myself?

Come come come, come inside!

Very good. First, you gave me a hard time

and framed me for stealing! Let's see where you can run!

Why are there so many red dragonflies? How odd.

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

Does your brain still work? You brought her home just like this! Don't you think you've brought enough trouble already?

Human lives are important! I can't watch her die!

-Besides, look-!-Would she appreciate your help?

Later on she'll say it's your fault!

She's been poisoned. However, thankfully it's not serious. She won't die.

-Send her back first, then look for an antidote.-Okay, okay!

Junior Sister Lu!

- Where are you going?- I'm going to check on the treasury.

Wait! I'll go with you.

Don't alarm Li Xun yet. Find the model first.

Okay.

Xiao Huan? What are you doing?

I knew it was you!

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

-Stop stop!-Don't fight!

Don't fight, don't fight! Don't fight!

Put it down.

Bi Yao! What did you do to Xiao Huan?

I did it! If you have the ability to do so, attack me!

-Come on!-Stop!

Everyone stop! Your bickering in the front door is so annoying!

-Xiao Huan? Why are you holding my granddaughter?-Demon girl! So what if you saved Xiao Huan? Get lost!

-What did you say?-It's just a demon girl of the evil sect.

You saved Xiao Huan? Miss, why are you standing there? Come in!

Forgive me for being ill-informed and narrow minded but I've never seen such disease symptoms and signs.

-There must be something you can do!-There's nothing I can do.

If there's nothing you can do, why did you stand there for so long? Are you a quack?

-It's all your fault! Can't you give them money! More money!-I did!

-Have those capable doctors come over!-I would give money, I have money too!

Look, my Xiao Huan!

Bi Yao. Why was Xiao Huan with you?

-Uh, it was I--Shut up.

We stole your diagram and your money. Zhou Xiao Huan said we were bad people, so we acted bad for her to see!

I know you wouldn't do that. Why did she faint?

She was poisoned. But I can't remember what poison it was anymore.

-Then can you clear it?-You think it's that easy?

Just tell us your request.

Okay! Have her kneel and apologize to me!

-You were the one who poisoned her, and now you want--What are you doing?

Xue Qi! Saving her is important, I'm begging you!

Xue Qi!

-Bi Yao, just save Xiao Huan please!-Okay. I have three requests.

First, I want that Lu Xue Qi to apologize to me!

Second, you have to find a type of medicine. Third...

I haven't thought of one yet. I'll tell you when I think of it.

But you guys must promise that if you didn't do these three things, you will be punished by the Heaven.

-I'll apologize in my Senior Sister's stead. I'll bow in her stead. Okay?-Let me do it.

How many bows do you want? I'll bow, you count.

You all-! I usually help you all, and now that something happened, you're blaming me!

-Someone's life is on the line! I believe you wouldn't do it.-I wasn't the one to do it in the first place!

I admit that someone created trouble backstage. But I didn't tell Wild Dog to do it!

-Yes yes yes, that was-!-Shut up! But since he is my subordinate,

-I'll carry the responsibility. Give me all your thoughts!-I don't have any!

I really don't. We know you didn't steal the money.

The poisoning has nothing to do with Wild Dog. He saved her. You don't need to thank him. Grudges and thanks are all to be wiped away.

- When she got poisoned, she was at Xun You Gu (Ancient Deep Valley). Oddly, she suddenly collapsed.- Stop it already. Don't say it anymore.

- I... This...- Before the sunsets, go to Kong Sang Mountain bring a medicine called Cliff Swallow Grass back.

If you can't, then there's nothing to discuss.

If they didn't do the poisoning,

who could it be? The Ten Thousand Poison sect? He Hwan Sect?

It shouldn't be Jing Ping'er. She has such a good relationship with Xiao Huan. She can be dismissed.

-Then it's the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.-No matter what, I believe Bi Yao won't harm us.

How about this? Shu Shu, stay here with Senior Sister Lu and take care of Xiao Huan, preparing to help at any time.

Jing Yu. I suspect that there's a problem with the place where Xiao Huan got into trouble. Your martial arts are good. Go take a look.

The poison and it's antidote are usually close together.

-Xiao Fan, then what will you do?-I will look for the Cliff Swallow Grass.

How is the mission Teacher left you? When will they destroy each other?

Soon. The Qing Yun Sect, Ghost King Sect, Fen Xiang Valley and He Hwan Sect are starting to suspect each other.

Right now, we only need a primer. I'll first eliminate Jin Ping'er to incite their internal conflict.

Good. Let their hands first be stained with blood. That way, they cannot stop.

Junior Brother, you are indeed skilled.

Senior Brother, you exaggerate. There is just an unexpected situation. Zhou Yi Xian's granddaughter was accidentally poisoned by Teacher's poison.

The Qing Yun disciples will be going to Kong San Mountain very soon. You must alert Teacher quickly.

What's there to be afraid of? Teacher already set an enchantment. A few little Qing Yun disciples

will only serve as ingredient for Teacher. Just focus on Yudu and that will be enough.

Teacher wants me to remind you. Jing Ping'er has been within the city for many years.

-She's our biggest enemy. Deal with her quickly, or else she will ruin our Ten Thousand Poison Sect's plan.-Yes.

Go slowly, Senior Brother.

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

Such a good martial arts ability.

You're not the only ones worried about Xiao Huan. I am too. So I came over to look for clues.

If I really wanted to harm her, why wait until now?

You are indeed amazing, Mr. Miao. Your actions are perfect.

If I find out one day that you are lying, I will have you give double the repayment!

If that day really happens, you can come back and bring me calamity then. It won't be too late.

What Xiao Huan was poisoned with came from either this flower or the bug.

I do not know anything about poison. It's just...why does Bi Yao know about this poison?

- I heard that his father, the Demon God, obtained mystical poison. It has something to do with the God of Beast.- God of Beast?

It's not just her family who got it. Wandu (Thousand Poison) Sect and Chang Sheng (Long Life) Clan each also have one bottle.

But I believe that Bi Yao wasn't the one who set the poison.

Because based on the Ghost King Sect's ability, they aren't able to put the poison into the flowers, much less feed it to the bugs.

-And looking at the Ghost King's way of doing things,he wouldn't have the time to do these girly tasks.-How do you know?

The flower having poison. The dragonfly treats the flower as its food. The poison then enters the dragonfly's body.

So I think Xiao Huan happened to be bitten by these dragonflies.

-Look! Xiao Huan she-!-Th-th-this!

She's okay! It's good for children to trip and fall a bit!

I don't have a granddaughter! Look!

I like Xiao Huan! How could Xiao Huan get an illness like this?

This sort of illness should look for me, the old thing that won't die!

What nonsense are you saying? What "old thing that won't die"? We can all be cured!

We can all be cured! Cut the nonsense. Look!

She's getting better. In another day or two...

The City Chief's condition is similar to Miss Xiao Huan.

But their type of poisoning isn't the same. From the pulse,

Miss Xiao Huan's condition is acute poisoning. And the City Chief's is a slow poisoning.

Plus him being around Ms. Xiao Huan a lot recently, it activated his poison causing him to be unconscious.

You can't blame me for this! When I took his pulse, I just felt that his body was weak.

H-h-he didn't say that he was poisoned, how was I supposed to know?

Grandpa didn't have any symptoms before. We didn't notice at all. This situation is bad.

Who was so crazy? What did my grandpa do? Why did that person poison him?

City Leader usually is very careful with his food and drinks. It couldn't be from that. And also, these past years,

he didn't touch anything with an unknown origin.

Wait a second.

Jing Ping'er?

On the night of the mid autumn day, I discovered a red dragonfly in the mansion.

-Big Sister!-Guard Yan, what is the meaning of this?

Jing Ping'er. You poisoned Zhu Xiao Huan and City Chief Wei. The evidence is conclusive, do you still want to refute it?

-Old Man Wei was poisoned too? I must go see him.-Capture her!

Wait a minute!

-Guard Yan, has there been a misunderstanding?-Bring the poisoned wine forward.

This type of wine is called Five Flower Nectar. It's made with an ancient method from five types of flower nectar, it cannot be possibly be poisoned!

Also, Old Man Wei has drunk it for three years. If I wanted to poison him, why wait until today?

He Huan (Happy Reunion) Sect's Lord Miao. Just to seize Yudu, you have been planning this methodically.

Do you really think no one knows your identity?

Yes. Although I am indeed from He Huan (Happy Reunion) Sect,

but I've never interfered with Jianghu conflicts for so long already.

And Old Wei and I are like father and son. He gave me a place to settle in.

What good will I get if I kill Old Wei?

Fine then. You say that this wine has no poison.

Then do you dare to test it?

There are so many people here in Silk Embroidery Workshop.

You can't be sure but maybe it's them who put poison it.

Yan Lie! I personally made this wine. I dare to drink it.

Wait!

I have a way that need not use one's body to test the poison.

Jin Ping'er, do you still have an excuse?

This is a frame-up!

Jin Ping'er,

If you really are innocent,

I will surely get to the bottom of this and give you justice.

Take her back to the City Guard Office.

For the rest, without City Leader's orders,

are not allowed to leave the Silk Embroidery Workshop.

What sound is that?

It must be monkeys. Don't look anymore. After picking the flowers, let's go back already.

Every bush and trees look like enemies. This will cause one to develop paranoia already.

Don't say it anymore. Aren't I too?

Yesterday, two of our buddies went missing too.

They wouldn't have been given poisons by Sect Leader and treated as poison tester too, right?

Say, how about we go down the mountain too?

Go down the mountain? Go where?

The antidote for the poison we took last time is still with Sect Leader.

Enough already. Let's go now.

If she indeed put poison in the wine,

she most likely would do it on the way here.

Why would she put it into the wine pot so early

and leave a flaw?

If she can use a poisoned flower in poisoning,

I'm afraid then that Xiao Huan's poison is caused by her.

She was even worried about Xiao Huan today

and went outside the city to look for an antidote.

This thing probably does not involve her.

Think about it. If I want to usurp Yudu,

the first people I'm going to deal with will surely be Yan Lie,

you, Li Xun, before your grandfather.

Harming Xiao Huan will only cause unnecessary alarm.

If it's not her, then who could it be?

I feel that Yan Lie is being too certain

that makes him look suspicious.

I feel that's impossible.

Yan Lie has always been very loyal.

And previously, when I and Li Xun had a conflict,

he still was very impartial in dealing with the matter.

Then who do you think

in Yudu City has the best opportunity

to get near old City Leader without anyone noticing?

How come I feel that in one night, everyone in our surroundings have become enemies? So hard to know who's a friend and who's the enemy.

And also, until now, the antidotes for Xiao Huan and my grandfather have still not been found.

Oh, no. Xiao Fan still haven't returned yet.

Qin Wu Yan is still too soft. Not reliable.

Sect Leader, don't bother with his plan anymore.

I already can't wait any longer. Let's attack Yudu now.

Turn all of them to medicine people.

No.

The Beast Blood Witchcraft still lacks one more step before we can use it.

And also, from diluting the God of Beast Blood until it got absorbed by the plants,

and then from the plants being transferred to the bug, and then turning the small bug into a venomous insect.

We still don't know the effect.

Sect Leader, what if that group of Qing Yun Sect disciples discover our

flower garden?

What can they do against me?

Who's there?

Bi Yao told you guys to look for the Cliff Swallow Grass.

Could it be some trap?

I'll go ask her about it.

Wait. Let's stick to our original plan.

You guys stay and guard while I go look for him.

Such an important thing and

you guys let the most stupid and the one with the weakest martial arts do it?

What are you guys thinking?!

Xiao Fan's martial arts is not weak.

He's the most calm and one of the most intelligent among us.

Fine. You say that his martial arts is not weak then it's not. You say that his intelligent then he is.

Then let me ask you. He not returning all night, is that being so smart that he can't find the directions anymore?

What does he not returning have to do with me?

Could it be that you think that I'm the one who harmed him?

Bi Yao, I know that you won't harm us. It's just that I want to know

what's the story behind the Cliff Swallow Grass? Can it really cure poison?

I will definitely not tell anyone.
