The Legend of Chusen

Episode 4

Old Seven, what does the letter mean when it says we have to bring the object to exchange?

I don't know what they want. I only saw this letter.

Xiao Fan, you said Ling Er was captured in the black bamboo forest.

Where were you at that time?

I...

-I was at Xiao Zhu Palace.-Why were you there?

Junior Master Tian, Junior Master Su. My teacher sent me to help look for Senior Sister Tian.

This news has already been spread far and wide.

There's a letter.

tian lin er is at my place, if you want to save her then take something to switch in place of her life.

Old Seven, could it be that mysterious person?

Mysterious person?

Junior Master Tian, do not worry. I already have a clue.

I will definitely find out where Senior Sister Tian is.

The paper this letter is written on is very special.

I've compared it to

the books in Yan Ru Yu, it's the exact same.

They captured a hostage and came and left so quickly.

I think they had a plan long ago.

They also know the Qing Yun Sect's movements very well.

Based on this, we can guess that he's been below the mountain for many years.

But I...feel like your teacher know who it is.

He doesn't know. He's just guessing that it could be that mysterious person.

Could it be that black clothed person from five years ago? When and where did that happen?

Why didn't you tell me?

It's more important to save the hostage. Let's talk later.

Okay. Let's go scope things out first.

Then we'll notify your teacher.

I'll go into the bookstore. You go to the back villa.

Xiao Fan, you must not act rashly.

Just confirm his identity. Flee right after.

Don't worry.

What is it?

I have an urgent matter. I want to go in and find a book.

We're closed, can't you read? Leave.

What is it?

I want to go in to find a book.

Okay, go in.

Thank you!

Closed for Inventory

Boss, where did you get all these books from?

Naturally, I collected them from around the world.

And also from some experts I am familiar with

or from the merchants who collect and sell recycling and miscellaneous things when they pass by.

When they pass by here, they come to see me. What is it?

Boss, you sure have a lot of friends! No wonder you have so many books.

Boss!

How much is this painting?

That painting isn't for sale.

Not for sale?

Who are you?

Just who are you?

Thank you!

Where is my Senior Sister? Hand her over!

You should worry about your little life first!

I underestimated you! You are willing to put your life on the line!

Junior Master.

Sect Leader Senior Brother, what do you think we should do?

This Lie Xie Sect abducted Ling Er for an object.

What is the object that they want?

Could it be the Zhu Xian Sword?

Impossible! They overestimated me too much!

Even if they abducted Ling Er, they won't be able to get the Zhu Xian Sword.

That Boss Nian hid below Qing Yun Mountain for many years.

It seems like he has planned for a long time.

What they are looking for is certainly very important to their sect.

Perhaps, it might be a treasure they left here by accident.

Sect Leader Senior Brother, the human family members of the Qing Yun disciples,

all 271 of them, within one night,

were all abducted by the Lie Xie Sect!

This letter was attached to each family's front door.

They want our disciples to go exchange for their family members.

If any of the leaders join in on the effort,

then they will kill all of their hostages.

What should we do? I hope you will tell us.

My father's body is unwell.

I wonder if he can make it through this time.

At least your parents can look after each other. My mother is alone.

She's also old.

Senior Brother. I want to go save the hostages too.

Just get some rest. Extra people would just-

Old Second!

Xiao Fan, I know you are also worried because Junior Sister hasn't returned.

But Teacher has already given the order.

You must recuperate within the sect.

You should listen to Teacher.

Teacher.

Old Seven, you should know now, right?

Learning martial arts and practicing magic

is to be able to better protect those important to you.

Teacher. It's my fault.

But, the one who was abducted is Senior Sister!

Even if I give up my life, I want to save her!

There's no need to blame yourself anymore.

Old Seven. I know you already did your best.

Teacher!

Old Seven!

It's not that I don't believe in you! Look at the way you are now!

Even if you go, it's meaningless.

Junior Master.

This is the evil sect's request.

Junior Master should not attack.

The Sect Leader and my teacher have already decided.

Let me and Senior Brother Qi lead the frontal attack.

We'll bring all the disciples to Bi Hou Tian's ice river to save the hostages.

And you along with the other six Heads of Palace will secretly follow us.

When that time comes, the enemy will be in the light but we will be in the dark.

-This way, we can ensure the hostages' safety.-Good.

Xiao Fan. Rest well.

I will definitely save your Senior Sister.

No. I must go.

Don't tell me you're going to save the hostages!

It's so far away, and you don't know how to fly on the sword!

How are you going to go? By running on your feet?

Why haven't you gone?

My family members were lucky and weren't captured! My father won't let me go.

I can't do anything about that either.

But...I heard

that this Bi Huo Tian ice river is the Lie Xie Sect's headquarters.

It has a blood colored forest and is full of traps.

Based on just Qi Hao and the others?

And so?

So! We are all from the same sect!

Of course we can't sit and do nothing!

I want to go. Are you going to go?

Come on!

The plan has to be changed.

There's an enchantment ahead.

We can only secretly go in from the outside for now.

Xiao Fan! Xiao Fan!

Xiao Fan!

Zhang Xiao Fan? Why did you come?

Junior Sister Lu!

Are you okay?

Senior Brother Qi, you're not the only one who cares about Junior Sister Tian.

Senior Brother, we can take care of ourselves. We won't drag you down.

Boss, looking at your demeanor,

it seems like you want to fight with the righteous sect.

The Capturing Blood Pearl will be in my hands very soon.

The Lie Xie Sect's hundred year revival plan is right in front of us.

Even if all the sects united

what can they do?

Capturing Blood Pearl?

You're not joking are you? Elder Black Heart's Capturing Blood Pearl?

Did you think I hid in He Yang for five years

for nothing?

It is within this group of people.

As long as Qing Yun disciples come in,

I will be able to get it!

B-but-! How do you know that?

Within these five years, the Capturing Blood Pearl's position constantly changed.

If the leaders of Qing Yun obtained it,

they will have to bring it to Dao Xuan.

And now, it doesn't have a set location.

And it also keep changing location!

I believe someone has it with them all the time.

One of the disciples must have unknowingly taken it

and got a treasure but doesn't know how to use it!

That's right.

Thankfully, the Qing Yun leaders didn't know that one of their disciples has this object.

Or else, they would have definitely found a way to destroy it.

We should thank this person.

It was because of him that our sect's holy object

could be safely protected until now.

The last time the Capturing Blood Pearl appeared,

it was near the Black Bamboo Forest.

And to get there, one can only go through Da Zhu Palace, Xiao Zhu Palace, or Lu Xiao Palace!

And so, the pearl must be with one of their disciples!

But, boss!

You must not be overly confident!

The Qing Yun disciples must have come to save the hostages!

When I obtain this valuable treasure,

and then take it's thousand year blood power,

based on just one taoist,

Tian Bu Yi!

How could he be my opponent?

Yes. Boss, you are right.

I'm sorry. I still came anyway.

Before we set out, I kept thinking

if I should bring you or not.

The road ahead is dangerous. Be careful.

Have some water.

Junior Sister Lu, have you forgotten about me?

I am the one you saw in the Yan Ru Yu bookshop!

Okay okay okay. I won't talk about that, I'll change the topic!

That day, did you like the fireworks I gave you?

How about this? When I return to the mountain, I'll tell my father.

I'll have him go talk with Junior Master Shui Yue.

-Talk about what?-A marriage proposal!

Help! Help!

Senior Brother!

It's you?

Thank you for your help just now.

But why were you following us?

Who was following you? I just didn't want to owe you all anything.

Just who are you?

She...

I saw her in He Yang before.

She is...!

Who I am is not important.

You only need to remember that I'm the one who saved you.

Of course. That doesn't include you.

How did you know how to break the Blood Red Forest curse?

You all came without knowing anything?

Did you come to die?

Bi Huo Tian's ice river is Lie Xie sect's headquarters.

It's been around for a thousand years.

The one in charge here is called Boss Nian.

You know things so well. Do you know someone from the evil sect?

-Mother!-Bi Yao, don't come out!

He killed my mother.

I've looked for him for many years.

I finally got some clue.

That's why I was at He Yang.

You came to get revenge?

I want Boss Nian to die a terrible death!

Miss, you are very good at martial arts.

Which sect are you from?

What's it to you?

You should leave if you can't even handle Red Blood Forest.

If you keep going forward, you'll just die.

Don't be angry.

Send the injured disciples back to recuperate first.

This young lady is...?

I'm the one who saved you all!

Thank you for your help, Miss!

Senior Brother Qi, there are lives on the line. We must not waste time.

How about we go forward to investigate first so we don't alarm the Lie Xie Sect?

Let's find a way to save the hostages first.

That's good too. You must be careful.

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

As you all said things, this is clearly Boss Nian's trap.

Just what does he want?

There'e only one possibility.

The thing he wants is with us.

He doesn't dare to say what that thing is.

Perhaps it's a treasure that is very important to them.

If the teachers find out,

this treasure will be destroyed and he doesn't want to lose it.

It couldn't be-!

What?

Nothing.

Anyway, let's find a way to get in first.

Can you tell?

You know?

I don' t know.

But I can tell that the treasure she used in the forest

is called "Broken heart flower".

This girl's background isn't simple.

Look!

Why do I feel like we're walking in circles?

How could that be? Believe me!

I've always been especially good at directions!

Come with me, this way!

When we go back, I must thank Jing Yu.

Thank him for what?

To give us a chance to be alone together!

Xue Qi, look at this mountain and lake!

It's so interesting!

Why don't we take a rest first?

Besides, this sort of beautiful scenery exists for people!

Xue Qi, you-

Xue Qi, don't be rash!

You must be walking in circles on purpose.

If we can't leave here within an hour, you'll be done for!

Xue Qi! I'm innocent!

Let's go, let's go.

I admit that splitting into two groups is a good idea.

But why do I feel like

their pair is too unfair?

Can they really save the hostages?

Don't worry. This is the perfect chance for Zheng Shu Shu to show off in front of Senior Sister Lu.

That's right. Can that token be trusted?

Even if we can't, we have to trust it.

This jade piece is a token of Tong Tian Palace.

Every palace only has one. It cannot be copied.

Then it's possible that Lie Xie sect captured that person

and used this jade piece to trick you to go in?

Miss, you are right.

But we will have to take a risk.

If you are worried, you can still go back.

If you don't want to go, I'll go alone. Come on!

Jing Yu, after we go in, if there's danger, don't worry about me.

Go save Senior Sister and the other disciples' family members first.

Don't worry. Our lives are tough.

Besides, I have my teacher's Destroy Dragons Sword with me.

I can definitely destroy demons and criminals!

Your good fortunes cannot save you if you are wishing for death.

You know it's a trap but you still keep going.

What? Were your family members captured too?

Our family members died long ago.

Our family members

and Grass Temple Village were all destroyed.

Qing Yun took us in.

We owe them a lot.

Besides, when our fellow disciples are in trouble, how can we sit and do nothing?

Is there anyone here?

Is it a bunny or a wolf? Make some noise!

It's too dark today, I can't come down!

I...I'll throw you a bun! I'll come see you again tomorrow!

You two are from Grass Temple Village?

You know about Grass Temple Village?

I investigated Boss Nian before.

I discovered that he appeared at Qing Yun Mountain five years ago.

During that time, it was also when Grass Temple Village was destroyed.

I guessed that there's a connection between those things.

That's about right.

Our entire village was killed. This hatred cannot be settled.

We will definitely find out who the culprit is this time.

Who was the one who saved me?

There really is a cave here!

Be careful!

What is that?

It might be a monster that Boss Nian keeps.

Let's hurry and paddle!

Xiao Qi Qi,

in a bit, if anything happens,

you must not be scared. I'm here.

Wait for me at the entrance. Don't drag me down.

Xiao Qi Qi, how can you talk like that?

Stop calling me that.

I-! Xiao Qi Qi. Xiao Qi Qi!

Stop!

You dare to not bow to me when you see me, Lord Dog?

Are you all new?

Who brought you in here?

Hello Lord Dog. We are new here.

We don't know anything. Please punish us.

There are a lot of new people lately.

Yes, Lord Dog.

We were just sent back to headquarters.

We haven't been able to get any jobs yet.

That's perfect.

You, come with me. I'll give you something to do.

Come on!

-Come on!-Y-yes!

What do we do?

I'll go to the center of the headquarters to break the traps. Follow her and act when you get the chance.

Okay. Be careful.

You too.

Come come come! Pour the wine!

Come come come. Please! Drink!

Continue drinking!

Come come come!

What good wine!

Let's drink again! Eat!

Come, eat food!

Come come come, bring the wine!

Stop!

What are you doing?
