Original subtitles

Name, Ahn Gyeong Nam.

(Episode 1)

- That's very nice. - Would you like to seal the deal?

Also known as DiCaprio of Cheongdam-dong.

It takes him exactly 48 hours for him to approach a woman...

and take every penny from her.

The moment he unfolds his scheme, he takes all of her assets,

including her property, real estate, and everything he can take.

Then he suddenly disappears, changes his identity,

and reappears on the scene.

A total of four jurisdictions were fooled by this guy.

Even the Regional Investigation Unit tried to find him but got nothing.

Do you understand how awesome...

what you've done is?

Gosh, that's my boy.

You should've been my partner.

Darn it.

What is this?

Hey.

You can't just leave like that.

Hey.

- What is this? - Darn it.

Why are you getting fussy even after I paid you?

Today is an important day,

so I want to avoid getting in trouble.

Man.

- Let me go. - Is it that hard to apologize?

You finally got him.

Ahn Gyeong Nam. You're under emergency arrest...

for deception, fraud, and forging official documents.

You have the right to an attorney.

and you have the right to remain silent. You know that.

- What are you talking about? - That's not right.

- He's not Ahn Gyeong Nam. - What are you saying?

What are you two saying?

Why did you catch him if you didn't think he was Ahn?

Yes, why did you catch me?

Honey!

- Hey, Ahn Gyeong Nam! - She means you.

Ahn... Ahn Gyeong Nam?

What's with your outfit?

Oh, right.

Hey, where are you going?

("Hidden Killer")

- Thank you! - Thanks!

(Webtoon artist Maru's book signing)

("Hidden Killer")

I'm sorry, but could you take a picture with me?

I'm sorry. We can't do pictures.

I'm sorry.

The contract said we'll go until 3pm, right?

We have 15 minutes left.

Yes. Next, please.

Gosh, "Hidden Killer"!

Darn it.

What is this?

The book signing is over. I'm sorry.

Maru, I love you!

I'm here!

Maru, I love you!

Maru! Please sign this.

- Maru! - Please look at me!

(Evidence 1, Evidence 4)

How did he become you?

A nurse at a plastic surgery hospital...

could turn into a mighty doctor after 10 years.

My wife wants to get a blepharoptosis surgery.

I should recommend you to her.

You should've been meticulous and changed your fingerprints too.

I guess your love wasn't that strong.

File this right away.

You said we wouldn't get caught!

You should've deleted the CCTV footages at the hospital!

Be quiet. This is a police station.

She wants you to shut it.

- Should Sa Kyung do it? - DiCaprio will only...

start talking once she interrogates him.

DiCaprio, my foot.

- How do you want your coffee? - Two shots, please.

- 2 shots. Got it. - I added 3 shots.

- That's fine. - She said it's fine. Go on.

Who will interrogate the mighty doctor?

Soon Woo, you go.

- Can you do it? - Do you mean it?

Sure. Since you caught her, you should do it yourself.

Thank you! Thank you!

- How do you want your coffee? - No, let me.

Come on, this is your first time with the interrogation. Let me.

Then I'd like three shots as well.

Three shots? Okay.

Did you get her autograph?

No, I couldn't even get in line.

You sound very proud.

You committed dereliction of duty.

Don't be absurd. I requested for a half-day off but ended up...

working two more hours, asking around.

- I went to the department store, - He's been here before, right?

- a foreign car dealership... - He bought a car here, right?

Didn't he check out this house?

I even visited all the real estate properties for sale.

But your mind was somewhere else.

Even after we had caught him,

he was confused.

How was I to recognize him when he got extreme surgery done?

You should've given me an updated photo.

You're always blaming me.

Be quiet.

So? Who caught him?

- What do you mean? - Ahn Gyeong Nam.

So Hyeong Ju caught him first.

- Not at all. - Yes, I caught him.

I'm the one who cuffed him.

You could cuff him, thanks to me.

I'll write the report.

- Come here, you punk. - You can stay there.

How dare you try to take credit for something you didn't do?

I've recently learned a new move.

- Gosh. - Come here.

- Enough, already. - You little...

Hold on. I'm not supposed to be the one in this position.

It's freezing.

Goodness.

You must've worked late.

Oh Myung Chul?

You have an excellent memory.

It's been seven years.

- Where did you get that gun? - This?

I borrowed it.

Are you sad that you were discharged too soon?

Do you want to go back?

Do as you please.

But it'll only be three months.

After seven years behind bars,

I found out I have a brain tumor.

When I heard that,

you were the first person I thought of.

I can't bear to die alone.

That prosecutor who indicted me...

and the judge who sentenced me to jail...

- are dead now. - You're a lunatic!

Don't provoke a lunatic.

After all, I'm holding a gun.

You're my last target.

I thought long and hard about how to take my revenge.

But someone said...

the killing would be too easy.

It's better to let you live in pain until the day you die.

That's true revenge.

Oh Myung Chul.

Hey.

Guess whom I borrowed this from.

Here. Until when can you get it fixed?

It's an old model, so I'll be done by tomorrow afternoon.

I don't have the parts for it right now.

Hello?

The owner of this phone has collapsed outside his house.

I think you should come here quickly.

You should hurry home.

I left a gift for you.

You scumbag...

Sun Ho.

Sun Ho.

Sun Ho.

But someone said the killing would be too easy.

It's better to let you live in pain until the day you die.

That's true revenge.

Walk slowly. Land on the heel first.

Good. You can take your time.

Now, left foot.

You're doing well.

Focus on your right heel.

Bend your knee. You're doing well.

Slowly. Control your breathing.

Start with your heel.

Wait a minute! Wait a minute!

Wait a minute. We're kind of in a hurry. I'm sorry.

- I'm sorry. Thank you. - Gosh.

If you have no physical defects, get out.

(Underground Parking Lot)

- It's freezing. - It is.

Ga Hyeon!

Were you already done?

You should've waited inside.

I'm sorry. I came as fast as I could after delivering the final copy.

That's okay. You two are also doing my share of work.

I don't mind getting wet.

It's fine.

Why are you here?

- Ga Hyeon... - I came here alone,

so I'll leave alone as well.

I told you to go. Why are you still here?

Well, it's...

I'll do it.

Hey, I'm going out to the convenience store.

I'm going to sleep. Tell me what you came to say.

It's about dining with my parents this weekend.

They can't, can they?

No, something urgent suddenly came up.

Not that.

They can't let you...

marry me, can they?

No, it's not like that. Give them a little more time...

I'm glad. I can't do it either.

I don't want to marry you, Woo Jin.

- What? - You're just an assistant manager,

and you'll be working at a company for life.

I'll lose too much if I marry you.

Although I may look like this,

I make a fortune.

- Shin Ga Hyeon. - I'll ask your company...

to change the person in charge.

I know it's hard.

But it's not just you.

I'm tired of this too.

Did you two fight?

No, I ended it.

You know how tough...

things are for him and how much he's trying.

That's why I ended it.

I didn't want to see him pretend to have a tough time and try hard.

- What? - The same goes for you too.

Hey, Shin Ga Hyeon.

You need to stop pretending and put an end to this too.

I know you're holding out to debut by using me as your connection.

- I'll put in a good word, so... - How can you be that cruel?

Do you know how much we did for you?

Exactly. So put an end to this. Please!

Your legs...

aren't your only disability.

Right here.

You're broken here.

Do you know that?

(Missing dog)

(We'll remove it when the dog is found. Please do not take it off.)

Maru.

It's raining.

(Trustworthy police, safe country)

Ji Hyeong Ju. We have to go.

Long time no see. Are you back to work?

Ji Hyeong Ju, do you want some morning coffee?

(Human rights, justice, kindness)

Ji Hyeong Ju.

Ji Hyeong Ju.

Ji Hyeong Ju.

Ji Hyeong Ju. What time do you think it is?

What time is it?

(Violent Crimes Investigation)

Ji Hyeong Ju.

Stop calling my name!

It's my first time calling.

It's my 1st time in 10 months.

I was happy to see you.

I thought you were coming back to work next week.

Why are you here already?

How long will you keep doing this?

Get a hold of yourself.

Sun Ho keeps calling my name everywhere I go. How can return?

How can I stay here?

Exactly. You need to go to the hospital.

You never went to a counseling session, right?

You need to at least make some effort.

I'll just try to forget it and move on.

(Letter of resignation)

Do you think... Do you think doing this will help you forget?

The operation went well for that jerk, Oh Myung Chul.

It was so successful that his case can be made into a paper.

He'll live a long time in prison on taxpayers' money.

So why are you living like this?

If you don't want to go to the police hospital...

What was it called again? It was Zian something.

Whatever. There's a psychiatrist...

who's the best in the field.

It's really hard to get an appointment there,

but if you're up for it, I'll try to get one.

I never got this resignation, okay?

I turned it in.

Hello?

Tomorrow morning at 11:34.

KTX 738 from Busan bound to Seoul will be derailed.

Pardon?

Among 387 people on board,

2 will die and 58 will be injured.

So what?

You can check that before we talk again.

Hey, it's...

Maru. Let's go.

Goodbye, 2019. Hello, 2020.

There are stories from the people who met at the famous sunset spot,

people who are getting prepared for the striking of Bosingak Bell,

and New Year's messages from celebrities!

We look back and send away the year 2019...

as we welcome the new year with racing hearts.

News flash.

KTX 738 from Busan bound to Seoul derailed...

and the wounded are currently sent to nearby Daejeon Hospital.

There were 387 people on board,

and we do not have the number of casualties yet.

President Baek Gyeong Ah held an emergency briefing at...

and said the cause of the accident has not been confirmed yet.

He said he'll find out the cause once the investigation...

by Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Board is over.

Manpower and equipment are sent to the scene of the accident...

to begin the recovery.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said...

they'll do their best to reduce the casualties.

Yes?

Are you watching the news?

Who... Who are you?

Did you do this?

You might misunderstand it and take it that way.

But do you think I could have known the number of casualties...

- News flash. - beforehand?

We found out that there were 2 deaths and 58 wounded.

Among 387 people on board, 2 will die...

and 58 will be injured.

It's not that I have a special power.

I just had a special experience.

When a certain date comes, I go back to the past...

and relive my life again.

I knew the train number because I had already seen it...

on the news.

Why...

are you telling me this?

I'll give you a chance to travel back in time with me.

If you're interested, I'll see you on this Saturday.

I'll text you the place.

(Reaching peace at Zian Clinic)

(Zian Clinic listens to your heart.)

- Zian... - What was it called again?

It was Zi something.

Zian?

(Psychiatrist Lee Shin)

Everyone is here.

Hello.

Nice to meet you.

I'm Lee Shin, a psychiatrist.

First off, I thank all of you for coming out here today.

Did you all greet one another while you waited?

We just shared our names.

When you said we can go back in time,

do you literally mean we can go back?

Yes, you're right.

There are a few rules,

but we're actually going back in time.

Going back to the past and repeating your life.

I call this...

"reset".

(Episode 2 will be aired shortly.)
