[Oh! My Sweet Liar!]

[Episode 13]

What else could it be?

Is it that you like me?

And you insist on keeping me by your side because of it?

Wait...

Am I right?

Shut up!

What's that for?

It can't be!

Alas.

Come on.

You could have told me!

No need to beat around the bush.

Listen to yourself.

Keep me by your side as my punishment.

It turns out you love me so much!

I won't feel a thing for a liar like you.

Seriously?

You're flushing!

Don't lie to yourself.

If you are fond of me for real,

I'll think about it.

And you...

might have a chance.

That's...

I see.

You want to start from holding hands.

You are shameless!

Young Mistress.

It's time for breakfast.

Mei Xiang.

I don't feel well.

Are you all right?

Young Mistress.

What's wrong?

I don't feel well.

Young Mistress.

You...

It's not like that!

It's all my fault.

I've severed this family for years.

I didn't ever make a mistake.

But I killed Young Mistress's baby by accident!

Mei Xiang, there, there.

It's not a big deal.

Don't blame yourself.

You don't need to absolve me, Young Mistress.

Now that it happened,

I will commit suicide in an apology.

Mei Xiang.

It's not a big deal.

It's just a job.

It's not worth it.

I've made a big mistake.

How could I face you?

I'm just on my period.

Young Mistress.

Ginger tea.

Mei Xiang.

Promise you won't tell Madam on me.

Young Master and Young Mistress.

It's such a big lie.

Although I am serving you, Young Mistress,

I'll blame myself if I cover it up.

Dear Mei Xiang,

The only reason I told you the truth

is to save your life!

Look at me!

If I hadn't said those words,

you'd have already been dead.

I am your life saver now.

You can't repay my kindness by betraying me.

That I won't do.

But...

Oh, dear...

I'm begging you, please.

I know.

I lied to Young Master so as to live on.

But then it was Miss Song's marriage,

and Duke's sickness came after that.

What happened held me back.

I have my reasons. I mean it.

But I'm not keeping the lie on purpose.

As for now,

I can't fail Duke and Madam's kindness.

I don't want to make them upset.

I know...

all these happened because of me.

Mei Xiang.

If...

you insist on telling Madam about this,

I will take my responsibility

for lying to them.

That's not what I want.

I am your maid, Young Mistress.

I will follow your order.

I won't tell it to anyone.

For real?

Mei Xiang!

It's so nice of you!

We will enjoy blessings and endure misfortune together.

Whatever I'm awarded,

I will give you one if it's a pair.

I'll break it in half if it's only one.

Shall we?

That's too much for me.

Now that...

we're on the same boat.

Mei Xiang,

can you do me a favor?

Ah?

Master, your letter.

Okay. You're dismissed.

- Yes, sir. - Yes.

[I have set off for Yun Yao. From Song Zhi.]

Your paintings always look so nice.

You used to picture the same woman.

Why is it different this time?

I tried to draw her.

But for no reason...

as I draw,

this girl comes into my mind.

Congratulations on the new girl.

You may leave.

Sign up for Dancing Championship!

It's your ticket to fame!

Don't miss it!

I'm in!

- Signing up? - Em.

Okay, here you are.

Watch your step.

Sign up for Dancing Championship!

Don't miss it!

Ning Xin?

There you are!

Look!

What's this?

[Ning Xin]

I signed you up to Dancing Championship.

I didn't agree with it!

Return the name tag!

I won't!

Ning Xin.

Why don't you want a part in Dancing Championship?

As for the status,

I am a senior to those little girls.

What's fun in this competition?

Give it to me.

I won't!

It takes a senior like you

to show the kids who are the boss.

Come on, you're married.

Stop being childish.

I am caring about you.

You should care more about yourself.

Look at you.

You don't look like a mother-to-be at all!

Not now. Not in a hurry.

However considerate your parents-in-law are,

they will urge you about having a baby.

It's not something to be urged about.

It takes more than one to have a baby.

Give it to me!

No way!

Come on.

No!

Hurry up!

No way! It's mine!

Master.

So... you aren't pregnant.

Everything between you and my brother is fake.

I'm sorry, Master.

It's a lie I made for survival.

I never expect it to become like this.

I didn't mean to lie to you.

Don't get angry!

So you're forced to marry my big brother.

It's not like that.

I'm the one at fault.

Now I see.

Master.

Please don't tell anyone about this.

If Young Master finds out

I'm the one who leaked it,

I'd be dead.

He won't spare you once he knows your escape.

I...

Second Young Master, your tea.

Don't move.

Give me the name tag.

I'll cancel it.

No way.

Master.

Talk to Ning Xin with me.

She dances so well.

Don't you want to take a look?

Stop messing around.

I will never attend this competition.

Sister Ning Xin.

A while ago,

rich young men lined up just to meet you.

Your popularity is beyond words.

But you took a vow at that time...

saying you won't marry anyone

until you become the dancing champion.

But you never take part in the championship.

What on earth are you thinking?

Now that Ning Xin insists in quitting,

do not bend her will.

Come on, Master!

I guess...

Ning Xin is waiting for the right one.

You're waiting.

Is that real?

Ning Xin is afraid of losing the competition.

She made the promise.

He'll be upset and she'll be humiliated if she lose it.

That's why she refuses to compete.

How's that possible, Ning Xin?

No one can match you at dancing.

The champion will go to you once you go for it.

If it's true that no one matches me,

why is Yunzhao Art Pavilion going down?

Wait.

Could it be...

It's not your skill that's at fault.

Yunzhao Art Pavilion is in need of good dance notations.

Ying Chen and Ji Yu.

Both are well-known dances.

But the dancers who perform them,

Xuan Juan and Ti Mo, are not recognized by many.

The compliments always go to the dance,

not the dancers who perform them.

For any good dancer,

it takes good notations to show their skill.

Yes.

What's your suggestion, Second Young Master?

Master.

Help Ning Xin out!

Well...

That's inappropriate.

Stop dawdling!

Hurry up! Help her out!

Master.

Please!

Alright.

Quick.

Wow!

What do you think?

Master.

I admire you!

You owe me a big favor.

I will repay you ten times.

Play the drum for me on field day.

Deal.

Deal.

Okay.

Young Mistress is giving herself airs.

We've been waiting for so long.

Miss Dai and Nanny Fang. Do you mind drop by another day?

Young Mistress is having a cold.

She's having a rest.

Mei Xang.

Xiruo is badly ill.

She's been asleep for two hours.

I'm worried about her child.

I must check her out in person.

Please wait here.

You've stopped me for times.

What's your intention?

Is something going on with Xiruo?

Thank you for your concern.

She's doing well.

But if I let you in,

I can hardly report to Young Master.

I'll just take a look.

Move aside!

Get off me.

Miss Dai, Young Mistress is asleep.

Cousin!

Cousin.

I'm here to invite Xiruo to operas.

I've been waiting for hours.

Xiruo doesn't wake up.

I'm worried about her

so I want to meet her in person.

Considering her pregnancy,

no one can afford it if the maids make any mistake.

Xiruo is doing well.

Thank you for your concern.

I'm relieved.

Cousin.

Why don't we go check her out together?

Don't bother.

I haven't seen her for a long time.

I'd like to talk to her.

Ruer.

When was the show?

You've been waiting for hours here.

Won't you miss it?

I was worried about Xiruo.

It's alright if I miss the show.

Since when you're so close to Xiruo?

You're so worried about her

that you kept waiting for two hours.

Why do you insist on seeing her?

It's just...

my sister Keer got suddenly sick, too.

So...

I'm worried about Xiruo.

Dai Ruer.

Stop using your sister as your excuse.

Otherwise,

you don't deserve to mention her at all.

You may leave.

Miss, let's go.

Miss.

Young Master must be enchanted by the witch.

That's why he talks like that.

Miss.

No need to feel sad.

Or that bitch will laugh at us.

Why isn't she back?

Young Master, she's having a rest.

Young Master.

Excuse me!

Where is she?

Young Mistress...

is taking a walk with a bird.

You only served her for days.

Why are you lying, too?

- Amao! - Yes, sir!

I'm sorry.

I don't know Young Mistress's whereabouts.

It's so late at night.

Why isn't she back?

It's all my fault.

I'll take the punishment.

Please do not blame Young Mistress.

Isn't she walking a bird?

Walk the bird now.

You are not allowed here until breakfast.

Amao.

Yes, sir.

Go with her.

Yes, sir...

After you, Mei Xiang.

Close the door.

You know your way home, huh?

Devil?

Why are you staying up late, my dear?

Where did you go?

Nowhere.

Our Manor is so large.

I spent a long time just to take a walk.

Don't you fool me!

As Young Mistress,

you're absent at night.

What are you thinking?

Alas, my dear.

It's late.

It's time to sleep.

Xiong Xiruo.

Xiong Xiruo!

Come on.

Why can't you hold it till tomorrow?

That's...

Fine, Xiong Xiruo.

You're in trouble this time!

Close the door!

Here you are.

Doctor Ye.

You're here early today.

Am I?

I don't think so.

Xiao Wu.

Is your mom here?

My mom?

Yes, she is.

Take me to her.

Come in.

- Let's go. - Sure.

Doctor Ye.

Yes?

You're here for Ning Xin again!

I'm here for your mom's waist.

She's doing great.

Then I'm here to send her plasters.

Plasters?

Everyday? Is it necessary?

Stupid kid.

You know nothing.

I won't let you in the next time!

Second Young Master.

Mind your feet.

You'll perform in days.

Yes, Second Young Master.

Go on.

It's the wrong tempo!

Hurry up.

We'll go for Ning Xin once we finish it.

Devil is about to be back.

He'll punish me if he doesn't see me.

Ye Zhihan!

Doctor Ye!

What for?

You tell me!

Look at you. You're half-dead.

What's on your mind?

I'm doing fine.

If you ask me,

you're worrying about Ning Xin.

It's nothing more than a marriage.

I am a grown-up.

If Ning Xin doesn't marry me,

I will...

I will stay single forever!

Right?

Why would I be bothered?

You remind me of something.

Recently,

I overheard a story.

Ning Xin...

is in love with someone.

Who's that?

See?

You're nervous upon hearing it.

That's mutual love.

I am nervous, but it won't change anything.

They aren't married yet!

You still have a chance.

Besides...

that man is nice to Ning Xin.

What did you pay?

How could I match him?

His family is prestigious.

And he's got a good look.

Look at me.

I am just a doctor.

It takes my life-savings to pay for the betrothal present.

Who is the other man you're talking about?

Xiong Xiruo!

Are you prying on me?

Calm down.

Come on!

Tell me about it.

Let it out. I'm here for you.

Tell me.

Your Master. Second Young Master Li.

Master?

Since when he's in love with Ning Xin?

Are you dumb?

He's helping her with the dance notation!

He is not going after Ning Xin.

Is that what bothers you?

- Dance notation? - Right.

I see!

Besides, you're a grown-up.

Man up!

Even if it's him, so what?

When Ning Xin wins the championship,

show up with the present.

And confess your devotion all these years.

She's definitely be moved.

Is that so?

Of course!

Alright.

I've made up my mind.

However...

Although she will be touched,

she'd prefer Master than you anyway.

Xiong Xiruo! I hate you!

Young Master. Here you are.

Don't panic.

Drum! Drum!

Greetings, Young Master.

What are you doing?

I'm feeling Young Mistress's pulse.

Feeling the pulse?

How arduous is that?

Not at all.

Young Mistress is recovering.

She will fully recover within a fortnight.

That's all.

I'm leaving.

Hold up!

Don't go.

I think my head still hurts.

Check me out.

Well...

Check her!

Yes, sir.

Why is he pissed off?

How could I know?

It's all your fault.

It's yours!

Yours!

I think my head...

Why did I get out?

Thank you very much.

There you go.

Pastries!

Tasty pastries!

Have a look!

Pastries!

Tasty pastries!

Bravo!

Nice dance!

I love it!

I'd love to have a try!

Can you make it?

It's so nice!

She's too clumsy to make it.

Come on.

Well done.

This clip is even better!

I'd say so!

Bravo!

Ning Xin.

You're such a good dancer.

Exactly!

You must be dancing champion this year.

Ning Xin deserves the greatest dancer in Yun Yao.

I'm flattered.

Don't worry, Ning Xin.

Master and I are here for you.

The title is guaranteed to you!

From now on,

I can say I perform with the dancing champion!

Cut it off.

Ning Xin!

I want to learn dancing!

Me, too!

Xiruo.

How did you play the drum?

I really love the gesture you did.

Second Young Master. Would you like some seeds?

Thanks.

Ning Xin, is this right?

Raise your hands higher.

Like this

Extend your arm.

Miss, please enjoy your tea.

Miss.

According to our informant,

Xiong Xiruo has been dancing for days.

How could a pregnant woman dance like that?

And she's dancing while playing the drum.

Nanny.

Didn't she drink your potion?

How could she dance?

Don't worry, Miss.

I think I know her plot.

I will find it out for you.

Young Mistress.

Do you have to go out tonight?

I have to!

The championship is tonight.

I must go out, one way or another.

Off you go.

I'll cover it up for you.

Shut the door.

See you.

Bye.

Sneaky as you are.

Where are you going?

Don't you have assignments?

Why are you still here?

I'm here to check you out.

But it seems...

I'm coming at a bad time.

You're going out again.

Bad luck!

He's here to take me down.

It's just...

I'm bored.

I'd love to take a walk.

Okay.

I'll go with you.

Hold on, husband!

What are you doing?

Nothing.

I'm sorry. Young Master.

I know it.

You're going to the dancing championship.

I'm here to tell you that

we can show up together...

Xiong Xiruo...
