[Oh! My Sweet Liar!]

[Episode 8]

Young master.

Young master, the messenger of the yamen is coming.

I came to get the marked documents to him.

Okay.

- Take them. - Okay.

Book of Raising Children.

Young master, it's a good book.

When my elder sister was pregnant,

she followed its diet guidance.

Later, she gave birth to a fat baby son.

It's very clever and cute.

It could walk at one, climb trees at three, and run at three.

Young master, you made a...

Ha ha!

Young master, do you hear the messenger is rushing me?

- I'm leaving. - Yeah, go ahead.

I wanna return it to you.

If you don't think it's good enough,

I'll make it up to you in the future.

It's not about the price,

I just don't think you should send it to me.

Our relationship is just a deal.

And madam's gift is not for me.

Am I really going to marry him?

Fireflies.

So beautiful.

Amazing.

Xiruo.

Master, why are you here?

I finally hid here and slept in, but you wake me up.

Duke and madam are looking for you.

They're very worried.

You haven't married into Family Li yet,

but now you're talking their side.

Be careful or I will drive you out.

Fine, I'll stop.

I didn't see anything tonight.

It sounds better.

However, master,

why did you hide in such a strange corner to sleep?

I had no choice.

If they find me, they'd force me to marry Miss Song.

I also want to hide myself.

Ah.

Well...

What's it?

Are these fireflies?

Some girl once told me it's the most beautiful light.

Is she the one who you like?

Master, marry her, so she'd be my madam.

She likes someone else.

It's okay.

I'll help you get her back.

She's dead.

Miss, you must be tired to serve madam every day.

It's okay.

It's all worth it if I can marry Hongbin.

They're dating in secret again.

Shame on her!

We must make Miss Xiong pay sooner or later.

I'm gonna find a way to tell Hongbin.

Master.

Master.

You... don't be sad.

I just didn't expect...

the same thing would happen again.

What?

Xiruo, you're going to marry.

How about I give you a big gift?

A big gift?

I still owe you 2000 taels for the painting.

How about I pay you back while you're going to marry?

You're not serious about it.

You already owe me 2000 taels.

How could you give it to me as a present?

All right, I'll pay that 2000 taels back to you.

Just let me know what gift you want.

Well, I have to think,

whether I want the stars or the moon.

What?

- Master. - Yes.

I want the fish head soup of Yunzhao Art Pavilion.

- The fish head soup? - Yeah.

Its fish head soup is the best in Yunyao.

It's the only one.

Its fish head soup is better than that made by the chef here.

Are you sure you just want this little gift?

Yeah.

Okay.

Don't tell them you buy that for me.

Fine.

Master, do you really get that for me?

Why not a pinky swear?

- Pinky swear. - Deal.

- I'll be right back. - Okay.

- Go back and wait. - Okay.

Where is she going?

You.

Eat.

Hey.

I must do something wrong.

So you want to poison me.

What are you talking about?

Or why would you treat me with so much good food?

You must want to kill me.

Am I that bad in your mind?

Yes.

Do you want them or not?

No, I don't.

Fine, I'll eat them.

Yummy.

- You want some or not? - No.

I just knew you were up to no good for doing that.

I...

My mother had me send these for you.

I didn't want to.

If you're really afraid they're poisonous,

you may as well die with a full stomach

because you're going to die with one or all of them.

- Sounds more than fair. - Sure.

I'll eat.

- Slow down. - Delicious.

Here, taste this.

It's also good.

I suppose it's good as well.

The shrimps are delicious.

Then have more.

It's good for the fetal heart.

Well, what about the quail?

It's good for the baby's health.

Oh, I see.

I know the bird's nest.

It can make the baby run faster, right?

It's good for your face.

The fish head soup.

It's good for the baby's brain.

Why do you have so many questions?

Just eat. Don't you like the fish head soup?

Young master,

I don't think madam had you prepare these for me.

You prepared them for me yourself, right?

Madam doesn't know I like fish head soup.

Only you know that.

Just eat, no more questions.

To be honest...

you don't have to be so nice to me.

I...

don't deserve it.

Of course, you deserve it.

You're the mother of the baby.

What if I'm not?

What are you talking about?

Don't joke about the baby.

Even if...

Even if you don't have my baby,

maybe I'll still marry you.

Isn't it the gift for me from madam?

Why do you take it back?

Look carefully and see if it's that one.

It's more delicate than the one madam gave me.

Are you sure it's for me?

If I say it's for you, it's yours.

It's precious.

I won't return it since you give it to me.

This bracelet is for my wife.

While you're my wife, you'd better wear it.

I'm full. Take your time.

Close the door.

Xiong Xiruo.

You lied a thousand times in your life.

Why is it so difficult...

to tell a lie this time?

Where's Xiruo?

Young master, Miss Xiong is not even up yet.

I don't think it's okay for me to wake her up.

Wake her up.

It's noon. If she keeps sleeping, she must be hungry.

Yes.

Hongbin.

Aunt had me bring you the ginseng chicken soup.

She wanted us to drink together.

Oh.

I got some urgent business to do. Excuse me.

Hongbin.

Where's Miss Xiong?

I saw her chat with Hongyu happily in the gazebo last night.

They got a nice fireflies lantern.

I was gonna ask her how to make it.

- With Hongyu? - Yeah.

Young master, Miss Xiong is not in the room.

What?

- Hongbin. - Help yourself.

Devil.

I'm sorry.

I lied to you.

I'm not even pregnant.

I told a lie to save my life that day.

I didn't expect it'd turn into like that.

Duke and madam treat me nicely.

At this point, I can't face you and people of Family Li.

I don't deserve...

to wear this bracelet.

Keep it for your real wife in the future.

Turns out, you've been lying to me.

[Yunzhao Art Pavilion]

Ouch!

Be gentle.

Be gentle.

What's wrong?

They bullied you, so we must make them pay.

Yes. Right.

Yes, we must make them pay.

I'm gonna take revenge.

Well, I was only lightly wounded.

If you go and get bullied,

who's going to earn money then?

Hey, you have the cheek to eat.

You should go.

What's the point for me to make you so fat?

Ouch!

- It hurts. - Mom.

- Does it still hurt? - Yeah.

Those sluts of Flowery House hit me hard.

Mom, it won't hurt.

All right, it won't hurt.

If only Xiruo was here,

she would kick their asses.

Don't mention that ungrateful little brat!

She got a lot of damn nerve.

She went out and never came back.

I don't know where she is.

Well, I shouldn't have adopted her.

She eats a lot.

I has finally raised her up, but she's gone.

Mom.

- Ah. - Shh!

Well.

I'm thinking about her all the time. I can't get over her.

I'm always worried she'd suffer outside.

I always feel like she's still here.

I can always hear her voice.

Is it this voice?

- Xiruo, you're back. - Yeah.

Xiong Xiruo, you have the cheek to come back.

I'm gonna beat you up.

Don't go.

Mom.

Stop.

Mom, don't hit me.

Mom.

- Where are you going? - Mom.

Come back!

- Mom. - Stand still.

Wow.

Hey.

Don't disturb me.

This fish head is expensive.

Let me take a little sip.

Come on. All this is for you later. What's the rush?

It's almost done.

I just know you are the best.

Mom, when I was out,

I'd been thinking about your fish head soup.

Well, I'm not bragging.

My fish head soup is the best in the world.

What? You miss home after you were gone for so long.

Yeah.

Where have you been all this time?

Mom, can you stop asking?

I told you not to ask me a thousand times.

Come on, I'm concerned about you.

All right, I won't ask.

It's great that you came back.

Mom.

I won't leave here anymore.

I'll look after you until you're old, okay?

I won't get old. I'm always 18.

You silly little girl.

Mom.

I met a special man.

Although he's the son of a noble family

and he's usually fish-blooded,

he's made of tenderness, actually.

But I lied to him.

I told a really big lie to him.

I can't face him anymore.

[Chuyu Courtyard]

Young master.

Big brother.

What are you doing here?

You're supposed to prepare your wedding?

I'm worried about the present for you.

It's bothering me, you know?

Big brother, why are you here?

You don't have to...

prepare the gift.

What do you mean?

Where's Xiong Xiruo?

She's gone.

She's gone?

Why?

Shouldn't you know her better than me?

You thought I took her away, so you came to check.

I don't know about that.

But I think since she's gone, she must have her reasons.

Maybe she's not happy here.

She left after she figured out what life she wanted.

Respect her wishes if you want the best for her.

Xiong Xiruo has gone.

Where would she have gone?

What happened?

It's late and the light is dim.

You can see much clearly with another light.

I know, you can leave now.

I finally came back.

I finally escaped from Li's manor.

I don't need to serve him every day anymore.

Besides,

I can sleep as long as the sun rises and shines.

And be a carefree painter.

There's a lot of valuable stuff in Li's manor.

Why did I only bring it back?

Keep this miscarriage prevention amulet with you.

Miscarriage prevention amulet?

From now on, don't do the dirty work.

You need to get some rest.

It's all about food with you.

Look, there are seeds shells all over the ground.

How would anyone come if we can't keep our door clean?

Hurry up, clean it.

What are you two doing?

Mom.

Yes.

I'm hungry.

Okay. Go get the fish head. I'll make the soup for you.

Okay.

Go ahead.

Hi, sir, come inside for a tune.

Young master, here's your tea.

Young master.

Young master.

Xiruo.

Well?

Where did you go?

Young master.

Young master.

Young master.

Young master, here's your tea.

- You're dismissed. - Yes.

- Don't come in without my orders. - Yes.

Belly in.

And your butts up.

Put your fingers back.

And smiles on your faces.

Come on, smile.

Guamei, stop eating.

You're looking like a melon.

Pose.

Young master.

What's up?

Duke had someone invite...

you and Miss Xiong to have lunch with them.

He said he hasn't seen Miss Xiong for some days.

He wanted to talk to her about the wedding.

Young master, what to do?

At this point...

I can only tell them.

Young master, Miss Song is here.

- Invite her in. - Yes.

I'm leaving.

Miss, just forget it.

Wait here.

Miss Song, our young master...

Young master.

Miss Song.

What's up?

I...

Young master, you're responsible for what you did.

I've already explained it to you.

I didn't know the traditions of your hometown.

What's good about that Xiong Xiruo?

She's not noble enough to be your wife.

I'm your equal.

You gotta say something.

Why am I not as good as her?

Tell her to come out and battle with me.

I'll figure out why she's better than me.

Miss Song, restrain yourself.

Get her out.

She's not here.

She's not your wife yet, but you get her well-protected.

Or you're afraid she'd lose.

Who's acting crazy in my nephew's place?

Who are you? How dare you offend me?

- Little uncle. - Yes.

Little uncle?

Please, Hongbin.

Who's this little brat?

Little brat?

This is Miss Song.

- You're Song Qin? - Yes.

I was just wondering who would dare

yell in my nephew's place.

Well, then again,

you're the daughter of Duke Song.

Why would you want to compete with a woman like that?

Little uncle, what do you want with me?

Hongbin, you know what?

The woman at your side is definitely not the daughter of some royal family.

Yeah.

I always hang around on the streets.

I've seen a lot of people.

I knew she's surely a swindler when I saw her.

Let me remind you of one last thing.

You can't marry her.

It's not too late.

Right.

Look, even your little uncle says so.

That woman is a common woman.

She's just a liar.

Wait a minute.

I said something negative about her,

but I'm not speaking for you.

Look at you, you're not better than her.

What are you talking about?

You even compare me to her.

You were gonna battle with her, weren't you?

Besides, you all want to marry into Family Li.

What's the difference?

How would I be the same as her?

She's a person of humble birth.

She's trying to climb the ladder.

But I'm different.

My feelings for young master are...

What?

You're speechless.

Do you want to say your feelings for my nephew are sincere?

None of your business.

Keep your mouth shut.

I'm his elder.

I'm the third master of Family Li.

You need to ask my permission if you want to marry into Family Li.

You said your feelings for my nephew are real and sincere.

Do you have proof?

How could there be some evidence that proved it?

Of course there is.

You're just a baby girl.

You don't know love.

How old are you?

Are you married?

You're being haughty on account of your seniority.

You know what it is.

Although I'm not married,

I've seen a lot of plays and albums.

Let me ask you.

Since you were into my nephew,

haven't you lost your appetite and sleep?

Did you want to be nice and considerate towards him?

Did you always mistake someone else for him?

Did you think of him wherever you went?

You wanted to restrain yourself, but you couldn't.

Of course, you deserve it.

You're the mother of the baby.

What if I'm not?

What are you talking about?

Don't joke about the baby.

Even if...

Even if you don't have my baby,

maybe I'll still marry you.

You're speechless.

You little girl.

You don't figure out your mind.

And you're forcing my nephew to marry you here.

You're shameless.

What? Who are you talking about?

Little slut!

Who?

Good.

Little slut.

You dumb bird, who are you calling a "slut"?

Well.

Don't stop. Keep going.

One more word.

- You dumb bird. - Slut.

I'll stew you and eat you!

Little slut.

- Keep going. - You're a slut.

Little slut.

I'll chop you.

Well, go on.

I'll beat you up.

- Good, great. - Shut up!

Little slut.

Shut up!

One more word and I'll beat you up.

Stop laughing.

- Little slut. - Or I'll hit you as well.

Good.

Don't insult me.

- You're a good bird. - Dumb bird, bad guy.

Louder.

Sing something.

Come on.

All you two know is cracking seeds, yeah?

Stop.

Sir.

Hi, my dear guest,

do you want to listen to a tune or enjoy the dancing?

The moves of girls in our Yunzhao Art Pavilion are smooth.

Their talents are excellent.

Excuse me.

I came here to find Xiong Xiruo.

What?

You're here for Xiong Xiruo?

Oh. Come inside, please.

Sir, this way.

Sir, come inside.

Come on.

Come back.

Sir, terrible timing.

Xiruo was just out to do some shopping for me.

She'll be right back.

Why not you just sit here for a minute?

Thank you.

Who's he? He's so handsome.

He's so polite.

He's surely a modest gentleman.

How would such a gentleman come for Xiong Xiruo?

Sir, do you want some seeds?

Come on.

Sir, there are so many noisy girls here.

Maybe you could wait for Xiruo in her room.

Okay.

This way, please.

Enough.

Sir, Xiruo's room is the first one on the second floor.

Go up this side.

Thank you.

He's so handsome.

So hot.

Let's go and see.

What are you doing?

Don't you have anything to do?

All right. Break it up.

Go.

Come on.

Ah!
