Kang, let me ask you

Are you sincere about Nianci?

Teacher, need you still ask?

lf you are, you must marry her according to the traditions

l do want to do that, but...

Are you afraid that Wanyan Honglie will object?

You want her to believe in you

but yet you can't even do a simple thing like this. No wonder she's mad at you!

l'll think of a way to handle my father

But... Nianci has to meet me

You must try to make her happy

Everything is fine when a woman smiles

Listen up, this must be carried out quietly

The little prince mustn't know anything about it

Yes

- Your Highness - Your Highness

Hold it

Kang, you're back

Did you ask them to kill Mu Nianci?

What?

ls that what you ask them to do?

You must not be so rude in front of me

lf anything should happen to Mu Nianci

Whether you did it or not l will hold the three of you responsible

So you better pray that Mu Nianci lives a long life

Kang, l'm doing this for your own sake

So you did tell them to kill her

There are so many beautiful women around lf you agree

so many lords willing to betroth their daughters to you

Why do you choose to love a Han? lf father finds out about this

both you and l will get into deep trouble

What is love?

l'm sure you know better than l do

Did you not fall in love with my mother?

How dare you!

Your Highness

There's trouble, Your Highness

Your Highness, l had asked a servant to bring food and wine to my uncle

But he killed the servant, saying that he was disturbed during his training

Why has Mister Ouyang's temper become so bad?

Yes, he has been training all day and night for the past few days

and hasn't stopped to rest lt must be affecting his health

Someone should talk to him

- Sha Tongtian, stay here - Yes

Should it be Shao Yin channels

before and after Zi Wu

And closure with the Water ways

That's not right. Why?

Why isn't it?

Uncle

Get out

Mister Ouyang

l want all of you to get out

Master Ouyang

Your uncle is indeed emotionally unstable

l think we have to let him rest in a place that is peace and quiet

Father means well please don't misunderstand

We're just afraid that the human traffic here will disturb your uncle further

You're right

l think l should take uncle back to White Camel Mountain right away

Besides, l need some time to rest too

lf you leave, we would lose an able right-hand man

Don't worry, Your Highness

When uncle is better, we'll be back to help you achieve domination

Nianci, you're going out?

l'm delivering the cloth to the store

Did Kang leave late last night?

Are you not willing to forgive him?

l've made up my mind

No matter what, Kang and l will not have

a happy ending

We shouldn't let things drag on

This is better for him, as well as myself

You are up so early

- Sir, please check the goods - Alright

Boss

Don't be mad, l'm not talking to you

How much are these two bales?

Five taels of silver

Five taels of silver

Alright, l'll give you ten

Thank you

This is a note for one hundred taels

l want 20 more bales

- l need them in 5 days - 5 days? That's too soon

Then you should beg she to do it

She's soft-hearted lf you beg, she'll agree to it

- Yang Kang, you... - Are you talking to me, miss?

Despicable

- Good morning, brother Wangcai - Good morning

- l'd like to buy some pork - Sure...

l'll give you a bigger portion

Making soup?

Thank you

Boss, isn't that portion a little too big?

That's way overboard

Let me do it

l'll weigh this

Businessmen must be honest

There, it's the right weight now

Here, take this and make soup to nourish your throat

l know you're dying to scold me so you should drink soup

My pork...

Do you remember? You lost to me during the duel

Even if l don't marry you you can't marry anyone else

especially not this butcher

How dare you flirt with him? What do you take me for?

Nianci, are you hurt?

Don't cry, Nianci l won't tease you anymore

Go away, get lost

Alright, l'll leave. Don't cry

Did l scare you?

l didn't mean it, Nianci l was just playing a prank

Nianci, you can scold me

You'll feel better

Nianci, scold me

Your Highness

- l beg of you - What's wrong? Tell me

- Please let me off, Your Highness - What do you mean?

Please let me live the rest of my life in peace

Please

Do you still think l am not serious?

Nianci

You've saved me risking your own life

so let me take care of you forever

Are you able to give up wealth and power for a woman?

l can have the best of both worlds

You're not only lying to me but also to yourself

Would your father ever agree to it?

No, he'd never approve of us

and will do everything to tear us apart

But as long as we're true to each other no one can tear us apart

You depend on him for wealth and power

lf you fall out with him you'll lose everything

Kang, we've walked the wrong path for too long a time

We must not carry on

Nianci

From today onwards

we'll go our separate ways

lf you truly love me

you should listen to me

and don't look for me anymore

Alright?

Your Highness, the prince has been looking for you all morning

You must serve father well after l'm gone

Where are you going, Your Highness?

Father

Where are you going?

Father, l'm not filial

but Nianci has saved my life before

l cannot let her down

Since you don't approve of us

l will marry her as a commoner and lead a simple life

You're going to give up everything for a woman like her?

Yes

Our Jin Empire is facing war with Mongolia This is a crucial time

How can you be embroiled in affairs of the heart

and forsake the country?

Father, l have always given priority to you and the Jin Empire

But l don't understand

why affairs of the heart and country cannot coexist?

My departure now is my last resort Please forgive me

l need to send cannons to Yanjing tomorrow

l'll let you handle all the matters here

Father, please get someone else to do it

l'm leaving tomorrow

The most pressing matter is to track down the Book of Wu Mu

Father

Have you agreed to my marriage with Nianci?

l don't want to see her

Don't bring her back to Yanjing

Everything else is up to you

Kang, you're not a kid anymore

l should no longer make so many decisions for you

- What's happening outside? - l don't know

Congratulations

What are you doing?

Miss, please get changed The auspicious hour is near

Don't be afraid

She's my teacher

Yang Kang, why don't you understand?

Why are you here?

l'm marrying you

Hurry up and get changed We must go through the rites

You...

Nianci, Nianci...

Yang Kang, stop playing pranks l've had enough

Pranks?

You wanted a proper wedding You wanted proper status

Now, we're doing everything the right way

What else do you want?

Nianci, believe me Father has changed his mind

Nianci, you've waited a long time for this

Do you think l'm a child?

Don't put up an act for me

l'm not, Nianci

Father was going to come, but he was summoned back to Yanjing

lt 's my duty to go along too

But l wanted to get this done as soon as possible

And l've told the whole village as well

l want them to know l'm marrying a good wife

Who's marrying you?

You can't just have me back whenever you want to. Who do you think l am?

Nianci, having one true love is more precious than any treasure on earth

What else do you want from Kang?

Nianci

Nianci

Nianci

Teacher, please take care of her for me

Don't worry! No one will bully her while l'm here

Kang

Nianci, you're up early. Sleep some more

You're leaving?

l have something to attend to l'll be away for a few days

Why are you staring at me like that?

l'll come back for sure, silly girl

You can't blame her lt's the first day of your marriage

l've an idea

Take her with you, and both of you can take care of each other on the way

l can't. l have serious things to do

Can't you do serious things with your wife around?

Nianci, l'd love to take you with me

but you'll be in danger if you come along

l'll be back in a few days

Then, hurry back

l will

Teacher

- Old lmp - Teacher

- Brother Zhou - Teacher

Teacher, Brother Zhou

Look

l've gone out to play with your teacher

He's recovering very quickly

lt's all because of me So don't worry, Old lmp

l wonder where he's taken teacher How infuriating

Although Brother Zhou is a little crazy he still has common sense

Teacher is in safe hands with him

Sir, your food is here Let me know if you want anything else

Rong-er, Rong-er

Have some food

How about l cheer you up with ajoke?

There was a man who was walking along

when two fishes fell out of the sky

He looked at the sky and thought that the tree nearby had fishes in it

So he climbed up to catch some fish

Don't you think the man is stupid?

lsn't it funny?

Father has told me this story many times

l'm sure Master Huang tells it better than l do

Don't try to persuade me

lf he doesn't approve of me being with you l won't see him

Let's finish our food and look for teacher

How do we start?

lf we're still at the Cloud Manor We could ask Brother Lu to help us

But we are not there anymore

Have something to eat l'm sure we'll find teacher

What do you want with Mister Qiu?

l want to know where Tianshan Snow Lily is What about you, brother Li?

l'm looking for a traitor from our Sect who has escaped

Thank goodness for Mister Qiu's Xianyao Hall

He knows everything

lf not for him, we wouldn't know where to find out information like this

Let's hurry. Mister Qiu accepts meetings with strangers only for a few hours

Yes, let's go

- Waiter - Yes?

- Who were those people? - l'm not sure

That Xianyao Hall...

Xianyao Hall is owned by lron Palm Sect Leader, Qiu Qianren

Apparently it's full of traps And Mister Qiu seems to know everything

Many people go to him for help

(Xianyao Hall)

Xianyao Hall

'There is nothing unknown to me'

'There is none who can beat me'

How audacious!

Qiu Qianren doesn't seem very humble

We'll find out when we go in

Master of Xianyao Hall, lron Palm Water-Walker, Mister Qiu Qianren arrives

Our respects to you, Mister Qiu

Please rise

Mister Qiu, l heard you've opened Xianyao Hall for the convenience

of martial artists in the world

That's right

l've trained hard on lron Palm Peak for 20 years

and am accomplished in martial arts

But there is one thing l've yet to do

which bothers me

What is the matter troubling you, sir?

Before my teacher passed away he instructed me that

l should do something good for the pugilistic world

So you set up Xianyao Hall for us to share information?

My mind is at ease now that l've done something good

Who are your spies? ls your information reliable?

l have spies everywhere from the far north to the deep south

No news in the pugilistic world will escape the ears of my spies

Mister Qiu, l have a request

l wish to know where Tianshan Snow Lily is

Master Ma, do you know the rules here?

What are the rules?

Let me explain to you

lf you have a request for Mister Qiu you must have a sparring match with him

lf your skills are deemed good enough he will help you

After you, Mister Qiu

Please

This guy's sword skills aren't too bad

He is the Water-Walker indeed

Master Ma, l'm afraid you fell short of my requirements

l'm sorry, l can't help you

Li Lunru pays his respects l have a request for you, sir

- You know the rules - Yes

- After you - Please

lmpressive

Brother Jing, let's do it

Elder Qiu, Huang Rong pays her respects

So, Miss Huang and Master Guo are here too

Do the two of you need some information that l can help with?

Yes

Choose your weapons

We wish to spar with bare hands

- Then... - What do you think?

Very well

But l am an established martial artist

lf l spar with you young people with my bare hands alone

l will be the laughing stock of the pugilistic world

l have a Wooden Men Trap which will be a good test of your skills

But... Sir

Please come with us

Brother Jing

Brother Jing

Not bad, at all

Your skills are extraordinary indeed

to be able to pass the Wooden Men Trap

Not many people in the world can do it

Really?

By the way, l heard you know everything in the world

- ls that true? - Yes. Look over here

You rely on pigeons for passing information?

Yes

l have contact points everywhere from the north to the south

There is nothing in the world that l cannot find out

l see

However, not everyone is lucky enough to receive our assistance

Like those two men just now

whose martial arts are not good enough and l will not help them

So we are lucky enough, are we?

Miss

First, listen carefully

For me to help you l would require payment for my services

You're right, sir

l don't mean payment with money

l want to learn one skill from each of you

That's weird

lt is, a little

l am insanely passionate about martial arts

and l've set up Xianyao Hall to earn payment like this

Mister Qiu, you're extremely highly-skills already

One can never stop learning

So, what skill do you wish to learn?

That depends on the information you require

We want to know where Hong Qigong is

- Beggar Sect Leader, Hong Qigong? - Yes

Hong Qigong's skills are amongst the best in the world

He's been missing for a few months and no one knows his whereabouts

- l have news of him - What?

You're close to Hong Qigong, aren't you?

Has he ever taught you any of his formidable skills?

Yes! 18 Dragon...

Brother Jing

lf you can teach me the 18 Dragon Subduing Palms

l will get you news of Hong Qigong

How can we trust you?

lf you don't believe me

there is a backdoor and you can leave

Brother Jing, how can you teach him teacher's ultimate skill?

- We have no choice - Then...

Are you done discussing?

No

- lf you don't believe me, leave now - Mister Qiu, wait

Qigong will be angry if we teach you

But we can't miss this chance

- Will you let us think about it? - Alright

Go to the guest room and consider it

l will wait for your answer
