one of the ways in which to maximize

register a Volvo ID why do you need to

do this well the Volvo ID will give you

access to personalise web pages on my

Volvo website this will allow you to

maximize your ownership experience

whilst you're driving your Volvo the

other key thing though is it will also

give you the functionality of centre car

which I will explain to you later but

what I want to do now is show you how

you register the Volvo ID whilst you're

in the car so as you can see on the

centre screen we are in the navigation

system right now so what we need to do

is using the scroll wheel is to come out

of the navigation system and go into the

Internet then we need to go to the

application section and then that will

load up the applications we will then

need to select the settings section so

by selecting the settings section you

will then come up with the Volvo ID

screen select Volvo ID and now we will

be asked a series of questions we first

of all need to register a Volvo ID which

is your personalized email address so

I'm going to show you how to do that now

you simply click on register a Volvo ID

and we use a scroll wheel or if you

would prefer you can use the buttons on

the centre stack to do this as well by

inserting your email address

now when you want to enter the

characters all you need to do is select

the more section and click on it twice

then the characters will be displayed on

the center screen so to enter your email

address

you simply now click OK and you will

then receive an email on your phone one

thing is important to remember here when

you are doing this particular sequence

you must make sure that the car is

connected to the Internet in order for

this to work

okay so now I've received the email from

the Volvo ID and we now need to do some

further steps in order to continue the

registration process to start this all

you simply do is click on the blue

button which says create Volvo ID on the

email this will then open a separate web

page for you to then enter your own

personal information so as you can see

here you need to enter your first name

your last name and then you need to

select your own personal and unique

password for your Volvo ID and of course

you then need to reconfirm that password

in this particular section then click

Next so now we've done that what we need

to do now is accept the terms and

conditions of this service and then

click Next

now you receive a confirmation that your

Volvo ID is now activated if you would

like to double check that your Volvo ID

has been registered in the car you can

do this very simply by going down to the

settings menu

then selecting Volvo ID and this will

then give you a double confirmation that

your Volvo ID has been registered for

this car and it will show you your email

address
