that we are
shutting the show down

for who knows how long.

We just did our last show.

It was weird tonight.

The audience was so good.
There were so many people here.

But we just can't keep working
when people are this scared.

We are all headed home,

Right now, the world
is on a standstill.

Everybody's at home on lockdown.

Going to the grocery store
is different now.

Nothing is normal anymore,

that it used to be.

Well, I guess it's time for me
to finally unpack from Vegas.

Because I thought I'd be back,

and here we are.

I'm still here.

So I went from working
five nights a week in Vegas,

like, seeing my sisters,
seeing the dancers.

And now, it's a lot different
and it's gotten really hard,

and I don't know how much longer
this is gonna be this way.

Coronavirus has definitely
affected our wedding plans.

Right now, nobody knows
how long it will be

before it's safe
for our friends and family

to gather together
in one building.

So as of right now,
our wedding is on hold.

I have to be honest and say that
this has helped my home life,

because I'm home, and I get
to see Nick and Mack every day.

My boyfriend has been living
with me this entire quarantine,

has taught a lot of people

that there are tons
of different ways to be involved

and be not just reactive,
but proactive.

I think, like, taking masks

and water and supplies
to the protests

was, like, kind of like a nice
way to be part of the issue.

I think it's important

to show your support
in any way you possibly can.

Black people are fighting
an uphill battle,

and we're starting the race

where everyone else
has a 400-year head start.

And that's just
the truth of the matter,

particularly in this country.

That 400-year head start
is not going away.

But what we can do as a group
and as a whole

and as a country
and as a society,

we can work together

to make the next thousand years
better for everybody.

I think racism is just something

that's unfortunately gonna
be around for a very long time.

I mean, you see George Floyd,
it's crazy.

Like, the cops just decided
that, you know what?

You're not worth it.

That's disgusting.

Being Black in America does give
you a different quality of life,

often a way [bleep] one.

So I went out to, like,
some of the protests,

but I've also
been protesting online,

I've been protesting
in my friend group.

For some perspective,
I'm the grandson of the leader

of the Black Panther Party's
movement in Denver,

Lauren Watson. Rest in power.

And it's always been

a very, very important part
of my family's identity

to be vocal
about the mistreatment

and the inequality
of Blacks in America.

And I've experienced
so much racism in my life,

whether subliminally or subtly
or on a grand, massive,

like, calling me the N-word
