The Legend Of Qin {Episode 39}

It is the previous Ju Zi's wish for the Mohist family to help Fu Su.

If Fu Su takes the throne, the world will be at peace.

What use will there be to raise swords again?

Besides, he was thrown out because he helped save Gao Yue.

I owe him a favor.

And so, I cannot forsake him.

So,

you're going to forsake me, right?

Can't we make both things work?

Shao Yu. Why can't you put down your revenge?

The cycle of revenge will never end. When does it stop?

If...

I'm saying if. If you can be willing to go find a happy land for the people of the world,

This way, would-

You are saying that I should face my enemy without doing anything,

and completely be a fool?

Find a happy land for the people of the world?

Then where is the happy land for our Xiang clan?

Our ancestors' spirits wander the earth.

Our living members also have to do the same!

Is this your supposed happy land?

Shao Yu, if Fu Su take the throne,

everything will get better!

But he is of the Qin state!

He is Ying Zheng's son!

Shao Yu, the Qin penal codes are truly cruel.

Ying Zheng is also ruthless!

But now the entire world is one,

and the people don't have to suffer war.

If you start war just for your own one sided desire,

isn't this going against the heavens

and allowing the people to suffer the instability?

Heavens? The world?

I'm sorry.

The one sided desire in your eyes,

to me, is a country's revenge and a family's hate!

Our Xiang clan's multiple wandering spirits.

Are they not part of the world?

Who is to be responsible for their deaths?

Shao Yu.

Shao Yu. Shao Yu!

Don't go. Listen to me for a bit longer.

You don't need to say any more.

I will go give the Mohist family an answer to my uncle's deeds.

Shao Yu!

Please stay behind.

Lord Ju Zi.

Did you practise that stroke yesterday?

- I didn't. - Let's practise that later.

Okay!

-Shao Yu! -Look at him.

Shao Yu!

He's being so strange.

Let's go, go go go!

It's time to have your medicine.

Once I cool it down for you, it won't be bitter anymore.

Yue Er.

Yue Er!

Yue Er!

Yue Er! Yue Er!

Yue Er!

Yue Er! Where are you?

What's wrong with Yue Er?

Yue Er has gone missing!

There's so much rain. Tian Ming, wait a second!

-Yue Er! -What do we do?

Let's go take a look!

Let's go!

In the past when I was alone,

I always sat here to pass the time.

and looked at the beautiful views of the mountains.

In my heart I thought,

that one day when you and Tian Ming returned,

I would definitely bring you here to take a look and drink wine and chat together.

But now...

Don't cry, Yue Er.

The one who should cry is me.

The Mohist family threw me away.

Tian Ming has also chosen someone else and forsaken me.

Family...brothers...a safe place to stay...I don't have any of it.

I don't have anything!

Yue Er. Yue Er!

Yue Er, I only have you left!

I only have you left!

You only know Tian Ming's heart for you.

But don't you know that I like you too?

While you weren't here,

I missed you every day, I worried for you every day!

But when you returned,

the pain in my heart is getting more obvious.

I am clearly standing right in front of you.

But you don't recognize me.

Yue Er. I don't blame you.

It's because I know I've never confessed to you!

I'll tell you right now.

I like you, Yue Er! Yue Er, I like you!

There is nowhere for me to stay here anymore.

I want to leave. I want to take you and leave with you!

Yue Er! Leave with me, okay?

Yue Er, Yue Er! Leave with me!

Yue Er, Yue Er!

I won't let you leave me again!

Yue Er, leave with me!

Yue Er! I won't let you leave me again!

Leave with me, Yue Er!

Yue Er, Yue Er, leave with me!

So, even you don't want me anymore, right?

Then I really don't have anything left.

Living life like this,

what meaning is there to live on?

Why don't I just finish things off now?

Since I can't be together with you alive,

then let's die together!

Yue Er!

Yue Er, I'm sorry!

I was wrong, Yue Er!

I'm sorry, Yue Er!

I'm sorry!

Gao Yue!

Yue Er is over there!

Yue Er! Yue Er!

Yue Er! Yue Er!

-Yue Er! -Yue Er!

Yue Er, are you okay?

Did you get hurt?

Yue Er.

Shao Yu, just what do you want to do?

You planned to terminate the Mohists.

Now you want to torture our Yue Er.

What do you want?

Speak! What do you want?

Shao Yu.

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu?

The treasures Uncle stole

are in a cave about half a mile from Mechanism City.

I will definitely pay back what the Xiang clan owes the Mohist family.

With our goodbye today, I don't know when we'll meet again.

I hope you can take care of Yue Er.

Also I appreciate your honest choice.

Let us say goodbye here. Take care.

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu! Where are you? Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu! Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu! Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Tian Ming.

There are some things that cannot be forced.

What you and he carry are different.

Separating was perhaps meant to be from the beginning.

Perhaps this is also fate.

Shao Yu has left.

Why did he have to leave?

Is he feeling guilty?

Shao Yu is innocent. He rushed back here

to admit his Uncle's wrongs in his place.

This is the letter he left behind.

Where his Uncle put the treasures,

it's all clearly stated in this letter.

You can go look for it yourselves.

G-g-g-give it to him. You don't even know how to read.

How about this? I'll go with Dong Gua.

Even more so,

I was the one who brought Xiang Clan and Mohist Family together.

The situation we have reached now,

is not what I first desired.

I will go talk with Brother Xiang.

Perhaps we can make some amends.

Okay. Then I will have to trouble you.

Waiter!

Customer, what do you want?

Bring wine here.

Customer, you've already drunken a lot. How about-

I'm telling you to bring wine here!

Okay!

Big brother, this person has had too much to drink.

What are you doing?

You knocked into me and you're leaving? Stinky brat.

You're making a move?

What are you looking at?

Continue hitting!

Stinky brat.

Murderer! Hurry and leave!

Ju Zi, please stay here.

I will have to trouble you, Sir.

-Why has he come back? -That's right.

He still dares to return?

I did everything.

It has nothing to do with Shao Yu.

Don't make things hard on him. Where is Shao Yu?

Where is Shao Yu? Where is Shao Yu?

Shao Yu!

Shao Yu!

Where is he?

He left.

Left? To where?

He didn't say.

Did you force him to leave?

-Calm down! -Brother Xiao Zhi!

General Xiang Liang,

If you didn't force him,

he wouldn't leave here!

This is the letter he left behind before leaving.

If he wasn't suffering,

he wouldn't leave here!

Right. I was wrong to steal the treasures.

But that's because your Mohist family was disloyal!

You were disloyal first! You cannot blame us!

Tian Ming! I'm telling you!

If anything happens to Shao Yu,

I'll finish your Mohist family!

Why is it you two?

You don't need to be startled.

Even if I didn't come to find you,

I think you would come to find me in the end. Is that not so?

I said so long ago.

The Mohist family doesn't suit you.

That sort of place and way of living,

there isn't anything that you should hang on to.

As they say, the more you eat, the more you grow.

All of your past was experience to you.

It was all beneficial.

However you should learn your lessons.

You should understand.

Why did you get completely destroyed in the Mohist family?

Because your heart is weak. Your trust the people near you.

Aren't you a person near me too? Why should I trust you?

But we are the same type of people.

Ghosts are the same type of people as you.

You can say whatever you want, I don't care.

Don't you have an ambitious plan,

But cannot fulfill it?

Didn't you see brothers as your own limb

but was betrayed at the end?

You are full of hate, yet you have nowhere to use it on.

I've been through all that you've been through.

What your heart thinks,

I understand all of it.

As long as you let yourself become very strong, and let nothing get in the way of your heart,

Only then do you have the right to own the world.

And I...

is the only person who can help you.

You and I working together...

isn't it, to those traitors,

the best revenge?

Yue Er. Do you know?

From the time I left the village until now,

my happiest moments,

were when you, me,

and Shao Yu were together.

When I think about that time, we were in Luoyang City.

We were silly, being ridiculous, and free.

With you two here, I'm happy doing anything.

Yue Er. Look!

You're not allowed to laugh at me.

I know. It doesn't look that great,

but it's the best looking pair I made!

I made a lot more. But all the other pairs were worse than this one.

Yue Er. Yue Er, you smiled just now, right?

I didn't see things wrong right? Yue Er, you just smiled, right?

Yue Er, did you smile just now?

This is great! Yue Er smiled!

Yue Er smiled! Yue Er smiled!

Teacher, Sister Rong!

Just now, Yue Er smiled! She smiled!

She saw the dolls that I gave her, which are these!

They're the same as the ones we bought in Luoyang City.

Anyway, I can't say it clearly! But she smiled!

This might be a way.

-What way? -What way?

To let her think of the past, and experience the past again.

This way, perhaps we can recover her memories and feelings.

That's right! Experiencing the past again!

To let Yue Er slowly find herself again!

Good! Let's do it this way!

♫ If we’ve met each other before, we won’t be lonely. ♫

♫ If we’ve stood shoulder to shoulder before, we can overcome hardships together. ♫

♫ We are fated to be a couple. ♫

♫ The mayhem of soldiers and warhorses cannot tear us apart. ♫

♫ The sounds of the ages, take it slow. Hold my hand. ♫

♫ On the long journey, if our hearts are next to each other, it’ll feel warm. ♫

♫ Love ever so deeply. What are you afraid of? The flame is ablaze with life. ♫

♫ In my eyes, the moon in the sky creates a shadow of complete bliss. ♫

♫ Paired together, a couple. ♫

♫ Trample the ice and snow to pieces. Memories will be scattered far and wide. ♫

-Come, take your medicine.

Drink your medicine.

Yue Er, look! Do you remember?

Yue Er, what's wrong?

Yue Er, did you choke on it?

Come come come. Stand here.

Look at your front. Do you see?

Up! Spin spin spin! Spin spin!

♫ I’ve had a taste of all things cold and warm in this world. ♫

-Right right right! Look! -Who touched my butt?

-Look at Sister Rong! Do you remember? -You're touching again?

Also, this way! Look!

♫ The heart has stopped. But once you breathe, you wake up again. ♫

Who is it? If you are daring, immediately come out!

Come out!

♫ In my eyes, the moon in the sky creates a shadow of complete bliss. ♫

-Yue Er!

♫ Paired together, a couple. ♫

-Yue Er!

♫ In the deepest forests in the mountains, our footsteps leave a trail of two. ♫

Yue Er! Look at me! Do you remember?

Stinky brat.

I did anything I could to help you please Yue Er.

Now, is the time for you to repay me.

Just say it! As long as you say it Auntie,

I will do anything you say!

Who are you calling auntie?

This-! Well, isn't my uncle's woman my aunt?

Okay okay okay. Teacher's wife, teacher's wife.

This person being Ju Zi still hasn't become mature yet.

Enough, hurry and say it. How should I repay you?

Actually, it's nothing big.

In two days, trick your teacher to go out with you.

It's enough if he stays out until before nightfall.

That simple?

Do you have another plan in mind?

Okay okay okay.

Last night, Liu Ji insisted on playing chess with me. We played all night.

If I didn't go easy on him and let him win once, I'm afraid we'd be playing until dawn.

Let's hurry and go. There's still a lot to do.

Stop being so slow.

What is it?

Look!

Today, we will chop the wood.

We have to go hunting, and herb picking!

There isn't too many types of herbs. Just about twenty kinds.

I'll read them out for you to hear.

There are Chinese plantain, Huang Zhi seeds,

Delphinium, and we will skip the next 20 some types.

As for hunting, they say we need one wild hare,

two mountain chickens, and there'd best be also one more-

Wait a second.

Uncle!

Where did you go? Hey!

Uncle! Don't run back to the village yourself!

Uncle!

Where did he go?

Uncle!

It's all here.

How can that be? So fast?

Teacher, um...I have something to say to you.

Come come come.

Uncle! Are you okay?

How did you get up there?

Who put this here?

Kid, hurry and let me down.

Let me try.

Teacher, I really can't do it.

Climb the tree!

Okay, wait a second. Wait!

Teacher, I haven't climbed trees for a while! I'm a bit rusty!

Teacher, wait a second! I'll find someone!

Wait! Wait here!

Tian Ming!

Uncle, you cannot blame me for this.

I just had no choice, you know?

Kid, what are you up to?

Teacher, you cannot blame me for this!

I had no choice either!

It's Sister Rong! It's her idea!

She said that I had to keep you here.

Until the sun goes down, you cannot go back.

She said...or else I can't go back either.

You should have just said so earlier.

Teacher, you're not mad?

I'm taking a nap. Don't bother me.

Okay! Okay!

Looking at the bay of the Chi stream,

One can see groves of green bamboos one next to another.

There is a gentleman,

studying to...

That's not right.

Seemingly with learned scholarship and refined virtue.

What are you doing? Go there now.

Hurry and go over there!

Looking at the bay of the Chi stream,

One can see groves of green bamboos one next to another.

There is a gentleman,

Seemingly with learned scholarship

and refined virtue.

With handsome appearance and talented aptitude,

as well as respected stature.

There is a gentleman,

It's hard for my heart

to forget.

Happy birthday.

If you didn't mention it,

I would've forgotten it myself.

This is...

Hurry hurry hurry!

Happy birthday! Happy birthday!

These ducks,

are pretty well sewn.

I sewed mandarin ducks! (a pair of lovers)

If you don't like it, then forget it!

Who said I didn't want it?

It must not have been easy for you.

I really don't know how many you had to sew,

to get these three.

You-!

Something so precious,

I will definitely keep it well.

Kiss her! Kiss her!

Kiss her! Kiss her!

-Okay okay, stop making a fuss! -Kiss her!

These three pouches represent

that you can ask me for three wishes. No matter what,

I will agree to it without any strings attached.

It becomes effective today.

Effective today?

Then right now I...

Stop fooling around.

This is a very serious matter, say it after you've thought over it well!

If you waste it now and then regret it later,

I won't do anything about it.

Okay. I will listen to Lady Divine Doctor's orders.

How can I repay such a great present?

You don't need to repay anything...

A person has to pay back favors.

If...you really want to repay me...

I want you to always remember your promise from before.

-Yue Er, look! -What promise?

What did I say?

You once said, that one day

you were going to hide away in the forest with me and not bother with matters of the world.

Did you forget?

You really forgot?

♫ After having lived alone, let me die alone as well. ♫

I don't dare to.

Let's release the fireflies!

Yue Er, look!

♫ I’ve wandered alone a lifetime. I’m thankful for having a soulmate. ♫

♫ Half my life is spent in turmoil; I can only sing, not cry. ♫

♫ If we discuss success, I’ve lost the entire world just to gain you. ♫

♫ I only hate that the song has already ended, people already scattered. ♫

♫ How can I continue on living alone? ♫

Yue Er. Yue Er. Yue Er!

Did you remember something?

Look. Fireflies. Fireflies!

That's right. The first time we met,

it was just like now! The whole sky was full of fireflies.

Yue Er, do you remember? These fireflies.

I'm ready.

I can do it!

What is this? I'll show you how to play with it.

Look. One, two, three!

Do you get it? You can just rub it like this.

Come. Give it a try.

It's okay. There's one more.

Come, I'll teach you.

Okay, rub!

Wish I were there to see you in person.

Fu Su I know what I am asking is rather abrupt.

However because of the degree of urgency, I could only do so without preparation.

Ever since exiled to Shang Jun,

I have been supervising the construction of the Straight Path but without any progress.

The reason one is that I have disagreement with General Mong and could not reach a consensus.

Another reason is because of Ziwu Ridge blocking the way.

The engineers could not find a solution and the crew has been fatigued.

I have heard the Mohists have the best knowledge in mechanics and superb understanding of physics.

I will be extremely grateful if you can help me with my problem.

Prince Fu Su is asking for help.

Of course we Mohists must provide the assistance without hesitation.

That must be without hesitation.

Miss Duanmu's medicinal skills are so amazing!

Can she not go?

Old Ban!

He is so good at mechanical stuff! Of course he must go too!

Xiao Zhi! You-! You-!

You said it quite well.

Rightly so.

Brother Chui and I aren't very special but-

What are you saying?

But we are quite strong!

Since you two don't have anything special, then don't go.

Someone has to stay here to guard.

-G-g-g-go! Don't go! We must go! -This person!

How about this? You and Brother Chui stay here to hold down the fort. I'll go in your place

Based on what?

That's right! Based on what?

You have small arms and legs, what are you going for?

Are you looking down on me? Others use force,

I can offer ideas and strategies.

Zi Fang is right. We may need your skill to study the terrain.

- What was that? - Study the terrain.

Didn't Prince Fu already stated in his letter?

Ziwu Ridge is blocking the way. Of course I should go to inspect the situation.

That's right.

Heroes, heroes.

Listen to me say something.

Zi Fang, you are right about this matter.

Also, we should listen to Old Ge about this.

Xiao Zhi, you shouldn't go.

If you want to do something, just move to side to rest up.

Tian Ming should stay too. To take care of Yue Er.

No! Yue Er and I owe a favor to the prince.

Now he is in trouble. I cannot sit and do nothing!

Besides, I am the Mohist Ju Zi.

If I don't go, who is to represent the Mohist family?

If you go, what is Yue Er to do?

Then she can go with us!

-We can treat is as a chance to let her have some fun! -You-!

Forget it, let him go.

The matter will be settled like this.

How about we set out tomorrow?

-Okay! -Okay!

When They Return - Where Chou Hui

♫ Leave all victories and defeats to yesterday ♫
