Dear Herbal Lord Season 2

Episode 5

Thank you for your cakes, Herbal Lord.

Lvluo.

I'm leaving.

Remember to miss me.

Hey!

Qingyun just left,

while you began to miss her, right?

What's wrong?

She...

She asked me to marry her.

You should be active towards it.

Since you love each other,

why not fix a date to get married?

What's wrong?

You're afraid that my master won't agree, right?

It can't be this.

My master is not as determined as before these days.

At least, he agreed to accept you.

It's not because of Lord Jiang.

Then why do you hesitate?

I can't marry her.

Chu Zhimo.

You are an unfaithful lover.

How could I be unfaithful to her?

Then why can't you marry her?

You know that

I don't have a long life.

These days, my health is becoming worse and worse.

I don't have much time left.

It's certain that I can accompany her

with my whole life.

But

how could I bound her with a marriage contract?

I can't do that.

Please.

Lvluo.

I want to eat some more.

Only two.

How delicious!

Is it delicious?

Miss,

why did you go to see

Herbal Lord today?

If you just want to eat cakes,

you can get them from the kitchen of our mansion.

If you want to eat,

you can have them at home.

So it is.

No.

I forgot the business.

What's it?

Going to see Herbal Lord,

I intended to urge him to marry me.

But

I was captivated by these cakes.

How cunning you are!

I have to eat you!

No.

I need to make it clear.

Let's go now.

Miss. Miss. Miss.

It's too late today.

We'd better go home first.

But I...

Have you forgotten that

the Redfire Clan will pay a visit tomorrow?

The lord asked you to go back early

to prepare for the party tomorrow.

With anything to say,

you can go to tell Herbal Lord next time.

OK. You're right.

One more.

It seems that Prince Yuwen is not kind.

Lord Xiao isn't here today.

Uncle.

Do you think that I can make it?

Uplift yourself.

Don't you always say that

you've been a mature castellan?

Then just be the castellan of this city.

Let's go.

I am Yuwen Ling from the Redfire Clan. I'm here to show my respect to you, Lord of Daxing.

You're so polite, Prince Yuwen.

Thank you for your hard trip.

It's our pleasure.

We've been friendly with each other for generations.

It's necessary for us to keep frequent contacts

to make progress together.

My father asked me

to send these herbs and presents

to you

to show the sincerity of Redfire Clan.

This is the list of presents.

A He.

It's really kind of you.

Please

send my thanks to your clan leader.

You're welcome.

I want to invite you to stay here for long.

Having enjoyed the sights of the Redfire Clan,

you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Daxing.

OK.

Prince Yuwen.

My father has told me that

if you have any requirement in Daxing city,

just tell me.

We're sure to spare no effort to meet your demand.

Lord Xiao is my old acquaintance.

We don't need to stand on ceremony.

I have prepared a banquet with songs and dances

to welcome you.

Please go to enjoy it.

You first, Lord.

Please.

She wants to seduce anyone.

How shameless Jiang Qingyun is!

Let's go.

Xiaoya.

Don't talk nonsense.

I didn't say anything wrong.

Why didn't my dad come today?

If dad came,

he would support me.

My brother

just has Jiang Qingyun in his mind now.

Xiaoya.

You need to learn to be sensible.

It's certain that your father

will appear at the right time.

If he appears now,

how can you recognize his advantage?

It's time for your brother

to straighten the Xiao Family.

Prince Yuwen.

Herbal Lord.

You have come from afar,

sparing no effort to keep the friendship of both clans.

I'm here drinking to you.

I think

your real interest is not in the wine.

With so much care,

clearly you have good relationship

with Miss Jiang.

I will drink first to show my honor to you.

OK.

For the beauty,

I will drink it up.

However,

Jiang Qingyun didn't forget the former affection.

Getting along with you for such a long time,

she didn't hurt you.

After all, she is a monster.

Brother.

You must be careful.

Prince Yuwen, enjoy the food.

Present it.

Lord.

The Redfire Clan has a treasure to present you.

It was named Redfire Pearl,

a holy article of my clan.

Today I present it to you

to show that we can live with each other in peace and friendship.

Thank you, Prince Yuwen.

Lord.

Don't regard it as a common pearl.

It's naturally spiritual.

It's said that

the Redfire Pearl can recognize its master itself.

Once the master is recognized,

it will follow him forever

and never betray him.

So

anyone who can be recognized by the Redfire Pearl as the master

really has the greatest luck.

I heard my husband mentioned it.

But it was said that once it recognized its master,

it would belong to him.

You're not right.

Our Clan leader said that

once someone was recognized as its master,

he or she would make a big difference.

But the Redfire Pearl

is useless

in common people's hands.

Only owned by someone predestined

can it play the most valuable role.

The Clan leader of the Redfire Clan is really sensible.

No wonder my husband

always talks with me about his deeds.

I say my thanks to you instead of my father.

My father told me that

if we could find a lucky person in Daxing this time,

we would present the pearl

to show the sincerity that both clans would live with each other in peace.

How does the Redfire Pearl recognize its master?

The lucky person didn't turn up,

so we don't know.

Qingyun.

Qingyun.

Qingyun.

What's wrong?

Qingyun.

Prince Yuwen.

What happened?

Don't worry. Lord Jiang.

The Redfire Pearl wants to recognize Miss Jiang as its master.

Pulse condition is very weak.

Her body feels hot.

What's wrong?

Qingyun.

How is Miss Jiang now?

Don't worry. Lord.

The Redfire Pearl has successfully recognized its master.

My daughter has lost consciousness.

Is it a recognition or killing?

Go to take the ice bucket here.

Prepare it.

Go to tell Lord.

Xuhuai.

Go to take some more ice.

The more, the better.

Yes.

So hot.

It's so hot.

Too hot.

What trouble did Banlangen make again?

Help! Jiang Qingyun.

Help!

Jiang Qingyun. Help me!

What's following you?

Jiang Qingyun.

Run away! Why does it run after you?

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Xuhuai.

Go to take more ice.

Lord. All the ice in the icehouse have been used up.

Then go to the pharmacy

to take all the icy mint leaves that can help lower the heat

here.

All of them.

Yes.

Oh,

she said

every time she felt uncomfortable,

the medical taste on my body could help her relieve the situation.

The medical taste.

Is it like this?

Did I pass the medical taste to her?

Could it be...

Need I behave like this?

Don't kill her.

The core of the fire lotus seed is best for vital energy and blood.

Songlan.

You're awake.

Are you feeling better?

Herbal Lord. You saved me.

You really came in time.

I?

Having eaten the core of the fire lotus seed,

I have improved my spiritual power greatly.

I feel very comfortable.

Thank you.

It's good.

It's good that you're OK.

I'm OK. Don't worry.

By the way,

how did you save me?

I just saved you.

How?

Just like that.

Really?

How?

Isn't it obvious?

Obvious?

How did you save me?

What do you mean?

What's wrong?

Have you come up with a way to explain to the castellan?

No need to explain.

Their treasure was eaten by me.

They must kill me.

Take it easy.

With me around you,

they dare not.

Qingyun.

Dad.

Are you OK?

I'm OK.

I'm feeling better now,

thanks to Herbal Lord.

Thank you. Herbal Lord.

It's what should I do.

Miss Jiang.

You get well so quickly.

Thanks to the treasure of the Redfire Clan,

it's really powerful.

Thank you.

It's really extraordinary.

Thank you for your praise.

Since you're OK,

why bothered making a fuss just now?

Who knows you were really unconscious or pretended to be?

Who did you refer to?

Xiaoya.

Don't talk nonsense.

Since Miss Jiang is OK,

there there,

it's OK now.

Wait a moment.

How could it be?

Do you think there is something wrong?

Miss Jiang,

where is the Redfire Pearl now?

It's in my stomach.

You ate it?

I didn't want to eat it.

It insisted on flying into my body.

All of you saw it.

Miss Jiang, please return the Redfire Pearl immediately.

How to return?

Could it be that

tomorrow morning you want me to...

As a holy article of my clan, the Redfire Pearl

is a special present for the castellan.

How could you eat it?

It doesn't matter.

Since Miss Jiang likes it,

I can just present it to her.

Thank you. Lord.

Take it seriously.

Our clan leader sincerely presented the treasure.

Unexpectedly, you gave it to someone else so casually.

I'm wondering if you look down upon the Redfire Clan

or the Daxing city is bad-mannered.

Lord He Lian.

You're mistaken.

Lord Xiao isn't here.

It seems that nobody in the Daxing city

can talk politely.

Lord He Lian.

As for the Redfire Pearl,

we can have a good discussion.

Besides,

we didn't want to

appropriate it to ourselves.

Didn't the envoy say that

the Redfire Pearl wanted to recognize me as its master?

Yeah!

I remember the envoy said so.

Just now Mrs. Xiao also concerned that

the treasure of the Redfire Clan might be damaged.

Didn't the envoy say that

if there was a lucky person,

he'd like to present it?

It seemed to be so.

Mrs. Xiao.

Just now

you also thanked the clan leader for his sense,

right?

Hmm.

Yeah.

Miss Jiang privately had the holy article.

Would you want to deny it?

Deny?

Who wants to deny?

Since you want to defend yourself,

then I will make it clear to you.

You intended to

present the Redfire Pearl to the castellan of Daxing.

It was taken by Miss Jiang.

But now you want to get it back.

How could you promise first and then deny?

Is it suitable for you

to behave like this?

Herbal Lord.

Maybe the envoy

didn't mean this.

We can

talk peacefully.

According to your words,

it seems a little serious.

Besides,

whether Qingyun is hurt

is the most important.

You don't know how hot the pear is.

If it hadn't been Herbal Lord saved me,

I wouldn't have had the chance to talk with you here.

The Jiang Family is one of the three greatest families in Daxing City.

Qingyun is the daughter of the Jiang Family.

I won't allow

anyone with concealed intentions to hurt her

or bully her.

Yes.

Neither will I.

Please give us a reasonable explanation.

You...

Herbal Lord, you protect Miss Jiang so much.

I'm afraid you have selfish motives.

It' none of your business.

Lord.

The pearl has been eaten by Miss Jiang.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter that she can't return it.

However, the pear

is the holy article of the Redfire Clan.

Even though it is recognized by a new master,

it has to continue to protect the Redfire Clan.

How to protect?

It's simple.

If the master of the pearl is a male,

he has to become sworn brothers

with those of the royal family in the Redfire Clan.

If the new master is a female,

she has to gat married with the prince of the royal family.

What?

Simply speaking,

as long as Miss Jiang marries me,

it can be solved.

No.

No.

Qingyun has been engaged with me early.

Uncle.

You have got a little aunt for me so early.

So what?

It's just an engagement,

not real couple.

I am sincere to Herbal Lord.

I won't change my mind.

What about finding another girl who is more excellent?

Madam.

The lord told you to act according to the situation.

Miss Jiang.

I'm not worse than Herbal Lord.

How do you know that you won't change your mind?

Besides,

as for anything I want,

I'm sure to get it.

Then it's up to your ability.

Prince Yuwen. My lord told me to ask you

if you really love Miss Jiang.

Of course.

According to the custom in the Redfire Clan,

if two men fall in love with the same girl,

how to deal with it?

Have a battle at the risk of life.

The winner gets the girl.

But it's in Daxing City.

I'm afraid the custom...

It doesn't matter.

For my beloved girl,

I'd like to have a battle.

OK.

Then let's see at the arena.

Attention! Attention!

Herbal Lord will have a battle with the prince of the Redfire Clan.

The winner and loser are disposed by the heaven.

Have a peaceful mind!

Come here!

Look carefully.

Bet on Herbal Lord on the left.

Bet on the prince of the Redfire Clan on the right.

Once you put a bet, you can't change your mind.

Once you put a bet, you can't change your mind.

Who do you bet on?

I'll bet on Herbal Lord.

OK.

Herbal Lord.

My Herbal Lord.

If I had known it, I would have insisted in marrying Herbal Lord.

Forget it.

You...

You can talk aside.

Don't affect my business.

The battle will be on in three days.

Who will be the final winner?

Do you dare to put a bet?

Yes.

Yes.

I bet on the prince of the Redfire Clan.

My Herbal Lord.

I bet on Herbal Lord, too.

How could it be?

Herbal Lord is seriously ill,

invalid.

How could he be healthier than the prince of the Redfire Clan?

How could you look down upon Herbal Lord by boasting the prince?

Are you from Daxing?

Yeah. Are you?

What's wrong with you?

You really!

Get out of the way! Get out of the way!

Get out of the way!

I'm here to put a bet.

I bet Herbal Lord will be the winner.

See?

This is generosity.

No. Miss.

Won't you think it over?

No.

Once you put a bet, you can't change your mind.

I won't change my mind.

Just think

Herbal Lord is handsome

with civil and martial virtues.

The medical taste of Daxing City

all gather in his body.

Only by smelling the medical taste can many diseases be cured.

He is not a common person

but an immortal in the world.

Besides,

the Redfire Clan is very small.

No matter how powerful the prince of the Redfire Clan is,

he can't be more powerful than Herbal Lord.

Right?

You're right! You're right!

Reasonable!

Good talk.

I will bet on Herbal Lord, too.

Take it.

OK. OK. OK.

Childe. You're so generous!

Miss. Look at this.

It matches you very much.

I'm sure you will look radiant wearing it.

I can offer you a cheaper price.

Buy one.

Miss, buy one.

Miss.

Look at the jewelry.

Have a look.

They are beautiful.

Have a look.

Have a look.

Childe.

You really have a good taste.

This jade bracelet matches your wife best.

We're not a couple.

Miss.

Don't be shy.

Standing together,

you two are really a perfect match made by nature.

No.

Try it on.

Have a try.

No need.

Try it on.

Childe. You really have a good taste.

I don't think it's suitable.

Who say that friends can't have present from each other?

It's very suitable.

I present it to you and you just take it.

Thank you. It looks beautiful.

Thank you.

No thanks.

What are you doing later?

I'm going to see Herbal Lord.

Then let me send you there.

Take care. Childe.

Here I arrive. I'm going inside.

If you don't believe,

you can take one of Jiang Qingyun's personal items.

And give it to the flamen to see, then you will know it.

There seems to be some black power in Yuwen Ling's body.

Though I didn't see it clearly,

once he approached me,

I felt uncomfortable all over.

Then I won't make him approach you.

In a word,

I don't think Yuwen Ling

is a common person.

When you're having a battle with him,

you must be very careful.

With the rest poison still in your body,

you mustn't force yourself.

Aren't you afraid that Maybe I will lose?

It doesn't matter.

Even so,

I won't marry him.

Because I won't marry anyone except you.

So

I must win.

OK.

Health comes first.

You must be very careful.

Take it easy.

I can't helplessly see

my beloved woman

be married by another person.

Then when will you marry me?

I...

Since you don't want to marry me,

then I just marry Yuwen Ling

and go to the Redfire Clan with him.

Then we can part forever,

having our own happiness.

And then...

I will marry you.

I...

I will marry you.

It's not true that I won't marry you

or I don't love you.

It's because I know

I can't live for long.

I'm afraid I can't accompany you for a long time.

I am not afraid.

Since I had the love soul,

I have found that the time with you

is happier than thousands of years ago.

Herbal Lord.

I want to

be with you forever.

Flamen.

We're here today

to ask you to judge

who wins the bet.

Flamen.

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have bothered you

for these small things.

I'm so imprudent.

Xiaoya.

Let's go.

I won't.

It doesn't matter.

Since Xiaoya asks me to do her a favor,

naturally I won't turn a blind a eye to it.

I know you are very fond of me.

Childe Xiao.

Have you got

what you want to test?

Brother.

Take it out.

Is there evil spirit on it?

It

is not easy to explain.

Just tell me

who wins.

Both of you

are half right.

What do you mean?

The original owner

is not an evil spirit.

But she is not living

in her body now.

The present one is

an evil spirit, right?

Yes.

Flamen.

How is

the original owner now?

Not good.

The original host is suppressed by this evil spirit.

The more vigorous

the evil spirit is,

the weaker

the original host will be

until she vanishes

completely.

Flamen,

what should I do to?

Childe Xiao.

Unexpectedly you care about the original host so much.

What's the owner

of it?

Except Jiang Qingyun,

nobody can make my brother so irrational.

If so,

it's not surprising.

What do you mean?

To tell you the truth,

previously

when I treated Miss Jiang,

I have found something wrong.

However,

Herbal Lord protected her very well.

So I didn't take it seriously.

Unexpectedly,

it leads to the situation today.

In your view,

is there a solution to it?

If we can get rid of the evil spirit successfully,

not only can we help my brother show his sincerity

but also protect Herbal Lord from being hurt.

Flamen.

Pease tell us.

Well,

indeed there is a solution.
