Report!

Your Highness, according to the latest battlefield report,

we've lost Xia Pass

and the Han Army has been killed in the war.

General Han Jizhong and his son Han Shiyi have died.

That can't be true.

Please calm down, Your Highness.

Lord Han is smart enough

to protect himself.

After I render meritorious military services this time,

I will ask my Father

to restore your identity as a woman.

Then, I'll make you my lawful wife.

I will wait for you.

You must keep your word.

That can't be true.

Tell everybody we're leaving.

We're leaving.

We're leaving.

Understood.

Prime Minister's Mansion

A message came that the Han Army was killed in the war

and that Han Shiyi fell to his death.

What?

Stop.

What are you doing?

I'm going to look for Shiyi.

Shiyi is waiting for me.

Zhongyu,

rumor has it that both you and the Fifth Prince

feel something for Han Shiyi.

I didn't believe it before.

But now it seems to be true.

You need help.

Dad,

don't speak like that.

I must find Shiyi today,

no matter she's dead or alive.

No one can stop me.

Are you insane?

It's ridiculous.

Perish the thought.

You're engaged to someone else.

You're getting married

with Miss Su in a few days.

You're not going anywhere

these days.

No way.

I'll never marry anyone else

except Han Shiyi.

You, jerk!

Come on,

lock him up.

Whether you like it or not,

you're getting married with Miss Su.

I need to find Han Shiyi.

Stay here.

Let me out.

Reflect on your conduct.

Let me out.

Make sure he stays here.

I'll hold you responsible

if he escapes.

Understood.

Let me out. Let me out.

Let me out.

Let me out. Let me out.

Tai Chi Palace

Chen Yanyi went north with reinforcements

and stopped the State of Wei at Qikou,

preventing them from going south.

Or the capital

will be in danger.

Your Majesty,

His Highness is a military genius.

I'm sure the State of Wei will be eradicated.

Please don't worry too much.

It is a very important time for our state.

You must take care of yourself and the capital.

Only then can His Highness focus on the military affairs.

I've always wanted

to take back powers from the Han Army.

That's why I deployed the Han Army

to different parts of the state.

Otherwise,

they won't be so vulnerable.

It's all my fault.

Your Majesty, just don't sweat it.

Let me get you the decoction.

Yanyi.

Your Majesty.

Zitong.

Your Majesty.

Zitong.

Why didn't you take good care of our son?

for not taking good care of Yanyi.

Please don't get mad, Your Majesty.

I've never been a bad father to him.

Prime Minister's Mansion

Come on,

Zhongyu left a message that he went to the northern territory.

It's so dangerous out there.

What if anything happens to him?

How could he do this

to us?

Zheng Wu?

I'm here.

Send someone to the city gate

and stop Zhongyu.

Don't let him leave the city.

Yes, Your Excellency.

Capital

Stop.

You can go now.

Close the gate immediately.

Dad,

you've already locked me up once.

This time,

I'm determined to find Shiyi.

I'll make it up to you

when I'm back.

What took you so long?

I thought you didn't make it.

Don't mention it.

Give me the horse.

Here is the money.

And the bank notes.

Thank you so much.

You're welcome.

We believe you're determined to find Han Shiyi.

But

is he still alive?

According to the battlefield report,

Shiyi fell off a cliff and fell in a river.

I believe Shiyi is still alive.

I heard the people of Wei had searched along the river

but failed to find the body.

That means Shiyi is still alive.

Yes. Yes.

That's right.

The Han Army is being accused

of hindering military operations.

We need to stay here.

You can go ahead and find him.

If you need any help,

write us a letter.

I, Gu,

and the schoolfellow

would help you.

I gotta go now.

Chen

His Highness is commanding Qikou.

Tuoba Xun has lost many of his generals and soldiers in the past fortnight.

Repelling the State of Wei is only a matter of time.

The State of Wei has been preparing for many years.

They've got strong soldiers, horses and abundant provender.

They've conquered several cities.

The vigorous army is not to be underestimated.

Your Highness.

Tuoba Xun has divided the forces,

sending the main troops to Lintang Pass.

Your Highness,

it's too much for our defending troops there.

That's right.

The State of Wei is good at deploying troops.

It's overwhelming for our troops there.

If we divide our forces,

we're at the risk of losing An Prefecture.

If we lose An Prefecture,

the capital and its environs will be in danger.

Tuoba Xun is the hope of the State of Wei.

Your Highness, do you want to get rid of him first?

The State of Wei is in a mess.

He has been the target of someone

for being favored by the Emperor of Wei.

Once he dies,

the State of Wei will fall apart.

But it's difficult

to make it to their camps.

I heard Tuoba Xun was good at martial arts

and had many guards.

Exactly.

I'll go there on my own.

He is desperate

to play against me.

Please don't.

It's too dangerous.

That's right, Your Highness.

The commanding general shall never put himself at risk.

Your Highness, I'd like to go there

and do what needs to be done.

Your Highness, I'm going, too.

I've made up my mind.

Please don't.

We're in the war.

If anything happens to you,

we're gonna lose.

Please give it a second thought.

I'm not being reckless.

Please trust me.

You're awake, Miss.

Do you feel better?

Where am I?

You're at the Chen Village.

When I was working in the fields,

I found you unconscious and injured by the river.

Then I brought you back to my house.

You just woke up.

You haven't recovered yet.

Don't move.

Auntie,

thank you for saving my life.

I'll pay you back some day.

You don't have to pay me back.

You're welcome.

But where are you going now?

I...

Where am I going?

How come I can't remember it?

When I found you by the river,

there was something special about your dress.

Do you remember your name?

My name is...

My name...

My name is...

Or do you remember your address?

I'll deliver a letter for you.

You're still weak now.

Miss,

do you have any memory of it?

It seems

I have no memory of it.

If anything happens to me,

please give it to His Majesty.

We'll stick to the original plan.

Understood.

Yanyi, you're not going alone.

It's too dangerous.

Master.

What brings you here?

How many times have I told you

not to call me master?

If anything happens to you,

the Second Prince will become the Crown Prince.

As long as we get rid of Wang Anli

before the announcement of the Crown Prince,

I think my brother Yanhao

will make a proper prince.

The thing is, we must move Wang Anli out of the picture.

You're not gonna take the risk

for the sake of our state.

I'll be fine going alone.

Master,

it's not that I don't trust you.

You're good at martial arts.

But we have only one chance to kill him.

We don't stand a chance

unless we work together.

Okay.

General,

please have an early night.

You may leave.

Yes.

Tuoba Xun,

long time no see.

Do you mind having a drink with me?

Do you want to know

why the Han Army has lost it all?

I'll find out the truth

on my own.

Do you want to know

how he died?

Actually, I didn't want to kill him.

However, I underestimated him.

There is no way the young general of the Han Army would be taken prisoner.

He threw himself over a cliff to his death.

It was too late to save him.

I'm sorry.

Report. General. Bad news...

We don't like each other originally,

and now you're the enemy of my state and family.

I'll put an end to it.

Tuoba Xun has been killed.

Drop your weapons and surrender.

Just drop your weapons and surrender.

Drop your weapons and surrender.

Drop your weapons and surrender.

Prime Minister's Mansion

Yanyi broke into the enemy's camp

and killed General Tuoba Xun.

He led the army to chase after

the retreating troops,

having killed most of the enemies.

My Father is delighted at the news,

praising him

as the hope of the state.

It's pretty clear he's gonna trust him

with the state.

Send out all our guys.

Chen Yanyi is not gonna make it home.

Uncle,

perhaps we should call it off.

He is a tough guy.

He is too sharp for us.

Perhaps,

perhaps the late empress

is protecting him from the heavens.

What are you talking about?

Darling,

when I was working outside the capital,

I promised Zhongyu in marriage to Miss Su.

Do you still keep that token?

Miss Su?

I thought you said

the marriage had been annulled

because we didn't pay the bride price.

Things are different now.

Su Yuan is merely

a prefecture chief.

However, one of his ancestors

has been granted a medallion of pardon.

What medallion of pardon?

What's the use of it?

It's a gift from the founding emperor of the state.

That's not the point.

Find the token

and send lavish gifts to the Su family.

We're gonna fix the wedding day soon.

I've never

met Miss Su.

I don't think it's gonna work.

The situation has changed.

If you want to save our son's life,

you'll have to listen to me

and ask him to marry Miss Su soon.

What happened?

What's going on?

Don't worry about it.

Just do what I say.

I'm gonna write a letter

and send it to the Su family

along with good gifts and money.

Let's get it done

before the Su family regrets about it.

Okay, I'll get it done.

I've prepared things

for Zhongyu's wedding.

The problem is

we haven't heard from him since he left.

I'll get him back.

Check up on Xiyuan.

What's wrong with Xiyuan?

She is crazy about Han Shiyi

and insists on being his widow,

saying she'll never get married again.

They are not even engaged to each other.

How could she be his widow?

It's ridiculous.

Take these flowers away.

I don't want flowers in my room.
