They're all loyalties

and they poisoned themselves to death

The one who can have so many loyalties

must be really ambitious

You don't know them?

You gotta go back to Xue's Mansion tomorrow

You may be in danger at any time here

I don't go back

It happened the second time

If I'm their target and I go back,

I'll get others in trouble

If they wanna kill you,

well you must

have something

they're eager to get

I have nothing special with me

I was just adopted by the Emperor

Is it the relics of my biological father?

General

It's so late

And it's time for the Princess to have a rest

OK, order more manpower to

escort the princess to the Palace

Yes

Come on,

send the princess back to the Jinque Palace for a rest

Yes

Princess

Out with it. What did you got?

Is there any links between Chuyue's being assassinated

and my brother's death

Keep the assassination thing from

His Majesty

so as not to alert the enemy

Yes

Aunt

I'll go to the palace to

ask his Majesty to let me

take over my brother's post tomorrow

When you wake up,

you may feel angry for this

I know you want

me to live

a stable and safe life

But it's my

duty and mission and I have to do it

Chuyue

Dongshi,

you're finally back

I heard about the assassination thing from Mammy Sixi

Are you alright?

I'm OK

Come here

What's wrong?

I have been assassinated for several times

Listen,

did my biological father, namely

your master

have any enemy

who wanna avenge on me?

I didn't heard anything about his enemy

He did a lot of good things

Both me and His Majesty

owe a lot to my teacher

What should I do?

I don't know who wanna kill me

off the top of my head

Chuyue, stop thinking that

Go back to Xue's Mansion

Xue's Family can ensure your safety

You'll be much safer there

I can't get back to Xue's Mansion

Why?

You know what

About 10 last night,

I became a pig

and stunned Madam Xue

If she wakes up and starts to talk nonsense,

I'll be screwed

You...

What I told you many times doesn't work

In the world,

everyone has his own path

and you can't help everyone in need

Don't worry, I won't tell it to anybody,

because

you helped me a lot

But not all men are evil

You...

There are still nice people

Dongshi, you have to think of something

Hurry up, come on

Feed it to Madam

and she'll forget what she saw last night

Awesome!

Take it!

Is it harmful to her health?

Medicine contains more or less some poison

It may be

a bit harmful

I can't take it. You just keep it

I wanna specify the birthstone thing

to Xue Yao

Chuyue

Don't be mad

I just can't find a good way

to swallow my explanation

Please figure out a way for me

Whether General Xue believes you or not doesn't matter

If His Majesty finds

birthstone in you,

can you afford the consequence?

Maybe...

You jest so lightly in a time of crisis?

I don't know whether you'll end up being cut like it's nothing

But Mammy Sixi, Xingchen and I who

have kept your secret for that past years

will be beheaded

Alright, I won't tell Xue Yao

Dongshi,

What can I do?

Chuyue

Listen to me,

it's better to

save trouble

General

We've found the aphrodisiacs

As for the drugging thing, he whole Mansion

was checked and interrogated

If the druggist hadn't made a confession,

nobody can think of you

General, I...

Whatever,

I must keep the Princess's secret from anyone

Since nobody found anything wrong

with Lady Su's tea,

how about...

I...

I just want you and

the Princess can

consummate

There's no way I could have anticipated this

It's all my fault

If you wanna me killed, just kill

You're really a back-seat driver

She doesn't care about it

I mean, is it the idea

of the Princess?

No, no, no

It's all my fault

and it has nothing to do with the Princess

I'm the one you should punish

What's your opinion?

Look, General, she's really scared

After all she's the servant girl of the Princess

And the drug

is... How about...

Alright, alright, forget it

You're the servant of Chuyue,

so you should be punished by Chuyue

You can leave now

Thanks, General

The Princess of the Jinque Palace

is doomed not to enjoy a happy life

Look, she's back to the Palace now

That being said,

but will we be punished

because we didn't deliver a change of clothes

as Mammy said?

Don't panic

Imperial Noble Consort can back us up

Guys, please stay

My clothes are dirty

Can you bring me a change of clothes?

Look, we're so busy with

delivering other master's clothes

Well, how about my meal?

It may be on the way, so you can just wait for it

Where is the peach tree nearby?

I wanna eat fruits

Princess, you suffered from hunger at General's Mansion, right?

So you wanna make a hearty meal at the Palace?

Bullshit

I always had a good meal at the General's Mansion

I just wanna get back home and

eat some fruits

It's not your home

He looks familiar

Princess Chuyue,

how do you do?

Why are you here?

You aren't afraid...

I was made General of the Left Guard by His Majesty just now

So the Imperial Harem is

It's within the compass of me

It's my first day, so I should walk around

Turns out the new General

If you have any laundry,

we're willing to serve you

Which Palace do you work for?

Though we're maids of doing laundry,

Ruyi is favored by

the Imperial Noble Consort now

How dare you!

Today

I'll report frankly

what you've done to my wife

Wife?

You're

General Xue with the name of guillotine?

Yeah

Did you ever hear that I

am extremely high and look like a demon

Get off

Why are you so fierce?

Do you know people at the Palace are really narrow-minded?

Well, do you know I'm

a narrow-minded man?

Why are you holding the stick?

It's for our son

In the future, if anyone bullies you,

you can beat them with it

In your dream. No son!

I also like to have a daughter

But if we have a daughter,

it should be painted pink

so that I'll look more beautiful

Bullshit

In your dream

It's so weird

She drugged me because she wants to

Chuyue

Chuyue

have a kid with me, didn't she?

I've already known your secret

There're so many misunderstandings between us,

because of my aunt,

His Majesty,

and our

identity and status

If Xingchen didn't

ask me to take care of you,

I still think

you'll leave me one day

In fact, you can try to trust me

as you trust Xingchen

Can I really trust him?

If I tell him the Birthstone thing,

will he be scared away?

Well, if...

If...

What if my appearance changes?

For example, if I become

an awful pig head,

a cat,

or a dog or something like this,

will you be scared?

You've ever been

You...

a pig

When?

In

my dream

In my dream, you became a pig head

and rub your head in my arms

I almost

kissed your pig's nose

You aren't afraid?

It's scary

Why do you come to me?

I dreamed about your becoming a pig head

because you were drugged

and your face was as red as a pig head

But

in my eyes, though

you become a pig head,

you're still adorable

Well,

come to have dinner with me tonight at the Jinque Palace

I wanna tell you

something frankly and clearly

OK

When I finish my patrol, I'll come to you

By the way,

when you're back, don't blame Taoyao

Taoyao?

Without her,

we would never open our hearts to each other

What's it to do with Taoyao?

She drugged us

for you, did she?

What?

I need borrow this

It's my fault, so punish me

Oh, come on, a punishment can't vent my spite on you

What if it goes in a bad way?

I didn't consider deeply

I just thought that

you can't change your dream

and can't be influenced by him

So I did that

Have a seat there

Why do you see my shapeshifting

above everything?

It's even much more important than your life?

I ever promised someone that

I'll take good care of you

Who?

I know who it is though you don't tell me that

It's

Concubine Jing

Right?

Alright,

I know your mind

I know that

I won't be capricious any more

Princess, you forgive me?

Princess

I know you did that for me

Also,

you didn't spill out my secret

even though you

were grilled by Xue Yao

Well, Princess,

how is everything going between you and General?

I'm confused now

Taotao,

Listen,

only when the man is

by the woman's side

can the woman fall asleep

Well

Does it mean that they are meant to be each other

Probably

Well

On the face of danger,

the man protect her bravely

Does the man have deep emotions with the woman?

Yeah

Women in the world,

noble or

humble,

all want to marry

a man who loves her

I'm not desire for wealth and power,

but love

and affection

Princess, you're talking to yourself again

Taotao

I think I've met the one for me

I've figured it out. I wanna trust him

It's the place

where my brother ever lived in?

Yes

Those stuff of General Xue are well preserved

and untouched

After the assassination,

I found myself

behind you a lot in terms of Kung Fu

You have the chance to take over

the post of Great General

I also wanna spend some time to learn sword fighting

If you really wanna learn it,

I can recommend you to my master

We're likely to become fellow brothers of the same teacher

Let's go

Show me around

where my brother ever patrolled

And it is always arranged in this way

The whole arrangement is

designed by Great General Xue

The Guoxi Pavilion area is

under the charge of Great General Xue

Which Palace is closest to here?

It's an abandoned Cold Palace

Why does Chuyue

always want to come there?

The Princess has a

weird habit

She always can't fall asleep at night

Also, she's bold so she always walked around

She can be seen everywhere

OK, you can go back

I'll go for a stroll myself

Yes

What are you guys doing now?

General

General

The Princess is waiting for you to have dinner

Mammy,

do you know who

the Concubine Yun is?

I can't believe

there is still someone paying respects to her

General

There are some rumors

about Princess Chuyue before she married

I hope you don't take them too seriously

I'd rather take good care of her

than mind those pointless things

Chuyue, the silly girl is really blessed

to find the right person

To be honest,

I was really afraid that Chuyue can't get married

because of her illness

General is the Princess's husband,

so I dare not to hide anything from you

Concubine Yun

was ever the most beloved one of His Majesty

She liked sitting at the Guoxi Pavilion for a while when she was alive

Later, His Majesty executed her here

For what?

It's said that she had affairs

Well,

was the adulterer caught in the end?

His Majesty banned everyone from mentioning this matter

But I heard that Concubine Yun

was seen

stay with an imperial guard alone

Nobody can get out of

His Majesty's hand in the Palace

He's someone who can

freely walk in and out of the palace

Is he my brother?

You're not

allowed to search the place where women live in

I see,

you're taking advantage of the excuse

to achieve your ulterior motive

Mammy

Can you recall Concubine Yun's original name?

She seems to be called

Feixue

Feixue

Concubine Yun

Feixue

Pillow Xue!

Let's go home to have dinner. Go

The dish is here

You know what

The Palace has stopped

serving Jinque Palace meals

So I let cooks in the imperial kitchen

make these dishes

Er...the...

the meat balls taste good. Have a try

Don't just drink wine. Taste it

What's on your mind? Out with it

I'm afraid that we won't have the chance

to have dinner together when finish my speech

So

try some dishes first

Actually,

I also wanna ask you something

Do you know Xue Mu?

No

But I heard that he's

your older brother who died young

Well

Do you know Concubine Yun?

What's wrong with you?

You've long known it?

It's a misunderstanding

Last time, the Marquis Beize

backed out of our engagement because he believed the rumor

which featured that I always

wondered at the Guoxi Pavilion where the Concubine Yun died

But it's a misunderstanding

and I think

you won't care that

I don't care that indeed

I care whether you know

Concubine Yun or not

I don't know her

I just met her several times,

but we were not friends

Why did you go to the Guoxi Pavilion?

Because there was haunted by ghost

You know that

I can't fall asleep at night

So I can only went there

to avoid meeting others

If we're together morning and night,

I won't buy your bullshit

So you mean you believe me

because we're together

morning and night?

Whether I believe you or not doesn't matter

If what I'm worrying about is true,

everything we see now

is fake

What are you talking about?

I can't understand it

I don't allow you to drink wine

I haven't finished yet

Go ahead

It's

very complicated

Well, my bio father,

namely the Master,

ever owned a heaven stone

called Birthstone

My father the emperor fights north and south with it

It's said that it can predict the future

But since my father died,

the Birthstone was gone without rhyme and reason

Actually...

Actually, I was naughty when I was young

I ever went to peep at it

and then it went into me suddenly

If I offend the taboo,

I'll become the corresponding animals

in the 12 earthly branches

Later, my father the emperor ordered to kill the thief

Concubine Yun hided it all the time

to protect me

She was ever the most beloved Concubine of His Majesty

She seems to be called Feixue

According to Madam, the goods sold by Panxiang Court

will come with a blessing note

In the note is the name of recipient

But the note is missing

I don't know what General Xue wants to investigate

But...

I always feel that the Princess

is hiding something from you

Concubine Yun was seen stay

with an imperial guard alone

On the evening of fifteenth day,

many troops should be sent to defend the Guoxi Pavilion

The Guoxi Pavilion area is

under the charge of Great General Xue

Brother

Brother

You haven't had your food yet. Where are you going?

I'll go to patrol the Guoxi Pavilion

You're so active

Is there someone waiting for you?

Stop saying bullshit

Later, our aunt will ask about it

Tell me something about it

What does your dream lady look like?

My dream lady

likes smiling

Though she was born noble,

she's easy and simple to approach

Also she's amiable to us

Well,

was the adulterer caught in the end?

Nobody can get out of

His Majesty's hand in the Palace

and then...

Xue Yao

Sorry

I shouldn't tell you these things

Are you scared by me?

It's alright

Go ahead

In a word,

I feel sorry for my father the emperor

He adopted me

I wanna make up for him later

You mean you'll

reward His Majesty's upbringing?

Well

What if he killed my close kin?

How come he killed your close kin?

Your brother just

died in the battlefield

for my father the emperor

Died in the battlefield?

You eat them. I'm leaving now

Hold on

You didn't answer

my question

A toast to you

We haven't had a drink together

for a long time

General

How's the investigation going?

I've inquired the imperial guards

Great General Xue

when the Concubine Yun moved to the Cold Palace

He was always mind-absent when on duty

He giggled alone

and asked others about

what women like

So after he

heard that women

like clouds and snow,

he bought those

That's right

But he never mentioned who

he prepared the gift for

By the way,

I got something about

the assassins

Look

at this

It's the ancestors' totem of Qingyun Tribe

The Qingyun Tribe are subject to high officials and noble lords,

doing some dirty jobs

The head now is called

Tangben

I know

General

Physical health matters

Don't drink too much

Come on, join me

OK, I'll have a drink with you

For now,

the fire happened at the Hall of Exuberance

is much more like covering others eyes and ears

Maybe it's really His Majesty who killed Great General Xue

When we catch Tangben,

the truth will

come out

Since those assassins repeatedly came for the Princess,

how about using the Princess as the bait

to draw them out

No

But General, look,

only the Princess is their target

If you worry about the Princess's life,

you can protect her in person

when we take action

Mr. Bai,

I'll give it a thought

There is one more thing

Did you ever considered that

you and Princess Chuyue can't

be as you were

if His Majesty is really behind the scene

You didn't answer

my question

I didn't understand

what you said just now

Maybe you've lived day and night upside down for years,

so you have visions

I mean it

Well, I'll tell you that the last time

If you wanna be with me

after you get to know it,

you can come to me tomorrow morning

If you don't want to be with me any more,

you don't have to bring me home

Alright

Princess, what are you thinking now?

The sun is out now

Why didn't you go to bed?

Toatao, do you think

Xue Yao won't bring me home

because he was scared by me?

The Birthstone thing is indeed surprising

If I didn't see it with my own eyes,

I can't believe that either

I should have followed the master's words

and kept the secret forever

You're finally here

You've made your mind?

Come on, say something

You are just passing by, aren't you?

I...

Tomorrow is your birthday

I'll come to bring you home

How do you know my birthday?

I...

None of your business

Hey. Go to pack your things

We gotta go tomorrow morning

How about you?

I...

I have some work to do

I gotta go

Hold on

What's wrong?

It's alright

I'm off

He must miss me

Princess, General delivered a box of clothes

for you to put on

It's the place

light yarn clothes from Beize State

Yeah. Princess, good eye

It's the light yarn clothes

You know what

It can shine

brightly under the sun

And it won't be moistened by vapor on a rainy day

Where did Xue Yao get this treasure?

It can show

General Xue's affection

It is so flamboyant

I don't like it

In that case,

I'll give it back,

saying the Princess

doesn't like it

I like it

Yeah

Think about it,

Xue Yao hardly does this kind of thing

I should save his face

I can barely wear it

Right?

Barely

Alright, alright

Let's go

General

How is it going?

Yeah

It sounds that she likes the clothes

Of course

When you put on this cloth,

you'll be stunning

day and night,

attracting the attention of assassins

I hope that assassins can show up,

and I also hope

she can enjoy a simple and happy birthday

General

the ship had already sailed

We should throw a birthday party for the Princess

Also, we should make it a big party

so that those assassins will think they have the chance

Alright, Mr. Bai

I know that

Set it up

Yes, General

Ensure Chuyue's safety

Alright, I got it
